CHAPTER 25: SURPRISE!
Four years now. It has been four years, long years, they've been through a lot of shit together, the kids were big and strong, five years old, kinder gardeners too, zeke was a super hyper kid, while dante was shy and decided to stay close to his parents, today was Maddison's and Alison's birthday party, they were two beautiful big girls, though vegeta and kakarot were in a rush, the kids refused to get dressed.
"Aahh!" dante screamed as he ran with kakarot behind him
"Dante! Get over here!" kakarot yelled, dante had his shirt as a cape.
"Run dante!" zeke bounced on his parent's bed. He stuck his thumb in his mouth
"Zeke! Please baby stop jumping! Mommy is gonna get mad!"
"I leave you at charge and you become a chaos." Vegeta said with a towel over his head
"Ah oh." Dante stopped running
"Boys, come here. We have to get dressed."
"Yes mommy." Both twins answered
"Gosh." Kakarot sighed and slumped on the couch, midnight jumped over his lap and purred
"Daddy."
"Hm?" he looked down at dante, the five year old gave him his shirt
"Thank you dante."
"Come-come daddy." He scratched the back of his head, smiled and ran back to his room
Kakarot chuckled, 'Come-come' dante didn't know how to say 'welcome' (A.N: my lil bro is the same) three years ago he finally talked, one early morning he wobbled to the kitchen, stood at the entrance way of the kitchen and screamed as high as he could, they asked what was wrong and he said his first word: bottle.
"Sweet face?" vegeta popped his head out of the room
"Yes babe?"
"Have you seen zeke's dinosaur shirt."
"He already wore that."
"He wants to wear it again, you know how he is."
"Um, it's somewhere. Under. The bed."
"Oh, thank you."
"Daddy!" zeke called from inside of the room
"Yes!"
"I, I want chocolate cream"
"We'll get ice cream on the way to your grandpa's house!"
"I want too!" dante said
Finally. It seemed to take them forever to get there, kakarot immediately was surrounded by old neighbors, then he was wrapped in a tight hug, his father bardock smiled widely at him.
"It's good to see you son."
"I missed you too dad."
"GOKU!"
"Maddison! Alison!"
The girls ran up to him a hugged him tightly, they giggled when kakarot twirled them around, kakarot took a step back and looked at them, they were so big, he hugged the girls again and kissed each forehead.
"We really missed you." Maddison said
"For a minute I thought I wasn't going to see you." Alison smiled
"Whaaat? I wouldn't miss this for anything."
"So, where are dante and zeke?" Maddison squealed
"Um-"
"Auntie maddy!" zeke came running to hug her
"Hey what about me?"
Zeke bit his bottom lip and smiled, he hugged alison, laughing when she carried him and twirled him around.
Kakarot spotted turles a few feet away from him, he was his father tate and with his stepmom, they both looked at each other, turles sent him a wink and a smile, he gave a nod in return.
Dante as usual shyly made his way to the twin girls, but was soon laughing when he was covered by kisses, kakarot smiled, he couldn't be happier in his life, he looked up and his mouth dropped, there standing by the kitchen entrance was Mr. Vegeta with…rafu. He saw vegeta wrapped in his father's arms, rafu looked at him and smiled, he smiled back, rafu was somehow the same after four years, kakarot looked at the ground, what happened to raditz? He hasn't talked to him in a long time now, nothing not even a letter. No phone calls, nothing it was like if the ground swallowed him whole.
"Mr. Vegeta." he stretched his hand out.
"Kakarot." He shook his hand
"Hi rafu."
"It's nice to see you again." he wrapped kakarot in a hug
"Daddy?" kakarot looked down, big mint green eyes stared up at him.
"Hey champ." He scooped the long haired boy up in his arms
Rafu and zeke stared at each other for the longest minute, rafu looked at his little brother who gave him a nod, rafu was shocked, the last time he saw his nephew he was still a baby, zeke wrapped an arm around his daddy's neck and stuck his thumb in his mouth.
"Is he zeke?" Rafu asked
"Yes." Vegeta answered
"He grew so much."
"Yep, he did." Kakarot pulled zeke's thumb out of his mouth "zeke."
"Yes daddy?"
"This is rafu, he's your uncle."
"He is?" the little boy asked his mommy
"Yes. He's my big brother."
Zeke smiled at rafu and stretched his little hand out.
"Nice meet you, Mr. Uncle Rafu."
"Nice to meet you too Mr. Zeke." Rafu chuckled as he took zeke's little hand in his
"You won't say hello to your grandfather?" Mr. Vegeta crossed his arms but soon went soft when zeke moved into his arms
"Dante…dante come here mouse." Vegeta called to his second born.
Dante shyly got closer and closer, his black eyes blinked up at rafu and he hid behind vegeta's leg, vegeta slowly pushed him towards rafu, dante kept his eyes on the ground, rafu crouched at the kid's eye level.
"Hello there."
"…Hello."
"How are you?"
"…I'm fine."
"What's your name?"
"…dante." He hugged his teddy bear tighter
"Dante, that's a nice name. My name's rafu, I'm your uncle, your mama is my little brother."
"Really?" he suddenly left his shyness aside, his big black eyes looking into brown ones.
Rafu smiled and nodded, not believing dante looked up at his mommy and got a nod, he looked back at his uncle and smiled back.
"Do you like to-to play?" Dante asked.
"Yes."
"I don't."
"Why not?" rafu tilt his head
"Zeke hits me."
"Is that true zeke?" rafu looked up, he chuckled when zeke smiled and shook his head.
"Hm, you should take care of your brother."
"I will." Zeke smiled
"Dante?"
"Yes?"
"You have a cute teddy."
"Thank you, but his name is not ted or teddy." He frowned
"What's his name then?"
"Goku bear."
"Goku?"
"Just like daddy."
"Oh." Rafu smiled widely
After eating, the kids played out in the yard while the adults stayed inside, kakarot was talking to one of the neighbors when the doorbell rang, next he heard squeals and laughter, he looked over his shoulder and he couldn't believe what he saw, vegeta was surrounded by old friends! Bulma, 18, lunch, jayy and angel…what made him grin like a fool was when he saw them, yamcha, tien and krilin, they were really there. Excusing himself he rushed towards them
"Guys!"
"Goku!"
They were back! He thought he was never going to see each other again, kakarot could feel tears gather in his eyes but he pushed them back, his friends, his beloved friends, they were back together once again, he was so happy!
"I thought I would never see you again!"
"I thought the same thing buddy." Krilin patted his back
"How you been man?" tien smiled
"Great. Those are my kids." Kakarot pointed at the twins as they were being hugged and kissed by the girls
"Holy shit! They're huge man!" yamcha rubbed his eyes
"They're in kinder garden now" kakarot was puffed up with pride
"Yo goku, what's up?"
"Josh I thought you weren't gonna come."
"I wasn't but you know jayy."
"Yep…is that your little girl?" kakarot looked down at a cute big blue eye girl, she had curly blond hair.
"Yep. She is. Sam this is my friend say 'hello'."
"Hi!" she smiled widely and ran off toward the other kids
"So what's up? How you guys been?"
"I've been the same as always, nothing new." Krilin shrugged "me and 18 are fine,we're getting married next year."
"That's great!"
"Same here." Tien smirked
"Damn…I'll be the only bachelor?"
"Ha. Ha. Goku you ain't no bachelor man!" they laughed
"I'm living in bulma's house."
"Why?" kakarot raised an eyebrow
"…I got her pregnant."
"Oooooo!"
"The balloon went poof." Josh laughed
"Shit man! You should've seen his face!" Tien cracked up while yamcha laughed a little and ran his finger through his hair
"Damn…you know it's great to be a father."
"Sure."
"Anyways. What happened to nappa?"
"Who knows? The guy just left. Went to the military or something." Krilin shrugged
"Oh."
Vegeta was being asked tons and tons of questions, but when he heard bulma say that she was pregnant he just had to laugh, bulma and yamcha, parents? It was so funny, he couldn't imagine bulma changing diapers without barfing, the idea of yamcha doing it made him laugh even harder.
"Are you done?" bulma frowned
"Wait! Wait!" he cracked up more, holding his stomach when it began to hurt.
"Vegeta!"
"Ok…ok…I'm sorry." He chuckled
"Some friend you are." She pouted
"Laughter will be my revenge when you have the need to eat everything."
"See! See how you are! You're such a whore."
"Whatever…" he turned to angel "what about you? Are you still with the beast?"
Angel chuckled "sort of."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well…he went to a military academy or whatever, it's been a while that I don't see him but he still calls me once or twice a week."
"Harsh. Where was I? oh." He snorted loudly and laughed at bulma again
"Stop it!"
"OK EVERYONE! TIME TO CUT THE CAKE!" Bardock called everyone to the yard
As they all gathered around, kakarot smiled at vegeta, he dropped an arm around his shoulders pulling him closer to his body, he smiled when vegeta wrapped both arms around his torso and hugged him tightly. As they sang the famous traditional birthday song, the doorbell rang, kissing vegeta's head he pulled and went to answer the door.
As he opened the door, he quickly jumped into the person's arms, nearly knocking them to the floor, kakarot laughed with joy as he hugged the person tighter.
"Air!"
"Raditz! You're back!"
Raditz smiled at his brother and ruffled his hair, he hugged kakarot tighter, he missed his little brother, he really did.
"Raditz?"
"Dad!" raditz let go of his case and rushed to his father
"Raditz." Bardock hugged his son, he buried his hand in his son's long hair and sighed in relief, he had his son back. After these long years, he had his kid back, safely in his arms.
"Come, the others will be happy to see you." Kakarot smiled
"I hope no one faints." He laughed
"EVERYONE! LOOK WHO'S BACK!" kakarot yelled as he ran outside
Everyone watched as a tanned raditz appeared, the guy smiled widely at everyone.
"RADITZ!" Maddison and alison screamed between tears, they ran up to their big brother and hugged him tightly, fearing that he would go again.
"You girls are so big and beautiful!"
"Raditz!"
His cheeks were pinched roughly by his aunt "where have you been young man!"
"I was living in Australia I finished college there too."
"You'll tell us the story later!" the twins hugged him again
Raditz held his sisters close, they've gotten so big, was he gone long? He missed so much everything, he felt his own tears on his cheeks, he was hugged by neighbors, friends and cousins, after the drama everyone went back to their conversation. He was very surprised when kakarot presented his sons to him, he did miss a lot, they weren't babies anymore, they weren't toddlers either. With joy he scooped both kids in his arms and hugged them, zeke smiled saying that they had the same hair style, he laughed back.
"Raditz?"
Raditz looked up, he recognized that voice, he gently gave his nephews to his brother, rafu stared at him, he didn't know what to do next, he didn't know what to say, rafu was in the same state, they had mixed emotions, since words weren't going to help, raditz did something he wanted to do a long time ago.
He walked up to rafu and kissed him, he wrapped his arms around rafu's waist and lifted him from the floor.
"That was fast." Vegeta whispered to kakarot
"Sure was, faster than we were." Kakarot smiled at the kissing couple
They looked at each other and chuckled before sharing a kiss.
Cake was no good in a child's system, it got them all hyper and the screams were loud, dante stood by his mommy's side the entire time, holding onto goku bear, some kids laughed, others took naps, others cried and others fought. Vegeta had zeke sitting on a chair, a lady came up to him and said that his son hit her daughter, it was true, the little girl had a small red bump close to her eye.
"I don't want to be here!" zeke screamed as tears poured down his cheeks
"You have to."
"No! I don't want to! I want to play!" he cried
"You won't go anywhere with that attitude."
"Mommy!" he kicked and cried, his face turned red
"Zeke stop it. You are not going anywhere." Vegeta calmly said
"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" zeke screamed at the top of his lungs
"Zeke stop it!"
Zeke's teary green eyes looked at vegeta, his breath hitched and tears ran down his neck.
"Daddy" he cleaned his nose with his wrist
"What son?"
"Daddy c-can I g-g-go p-play?" he asked
"…" kakarot looked at vegeta "vegeta-"
"No. You're always too soft with him, when he grows up he won't listen to me."
"C'mon baby, please."
"No."
"Mommy?"
"…"
"Mommy?" Zeke sniveled
"What?" he looked at his first born
"C-can I please g-go play?" he asked
"…will you promise me that you're not going to hit anybody?"
"Yes."
"Will you say sorry to the little girl and her mommy?"
"Yes."
"…" he sighed "fine. Go play."
Zeke smiled and jumped off the chair, before he ran out to the yard, kakarot stopped him and scooped him up.
"What do you say?"
"Thank you mama."
"You're welcome." Vegeta rolled his eyes
"Good boy. Give me five." Father and son high fived before the kid ran back outside and up to a the lady after that he went back to the other kids
"Daddy…" dante pulled on kakarot's pants
"Hm?"
"I'm sleepy."
Kakarot smiled, he carried his son, the little boy held his teddy close and played with his father's hair twirling it around till he fell asleep. After some minutes bardock came in with a sleeping zeke in his arms, thumb lover. Both men went upstairs and into kakarot's old room, it was just as he left it, except for the holes in the wall, he chuckled as he remembered everything he's been through. Bardock and kakarot stepped back and looked at the sleeping twins, one had long hair and was sucking his thumb, while the other had short hair and preferred to sleep with his limbs spread out, he mumbled something about goku bear.
"I remember when you were that age."
"…" kakarot smiled
"I'm very proud of you goku." Bardock squeezed his son's shoulder and went back down stairs. Kakarot stared at his sons, he remembered the day he first saw them, so little and so fragile, he wiggled his hand in his pocket and smiled.
He made his way back to the yard, his eyes watched as vegeta was enjoying himself with his friends, turles would talk to him from time to time, he still felt jealousy but nothing serious as to go there and kick the shit out of turles, his eyes moved onto raditz and rafu, he smiled as he saw them talking, raditz held rafu's hand. He wondered where his brother did all these years in Australia, though he would ask later. He took a deep breath and walked towards vegeta, he hugged him from behind, burying his face in his boyfriend's hair, vegeta rested his head on kakarot's shoulder and smiled.
"Hey there."
"Hi."
"Are the boys asleep?"
"Yep."
"Good." He kissed the scar under kakarot's chin.
Kakarot took another deep breath and spun vegeta around, mint green eyes looked at him with curiosity, suddenly everyone in the party went silent.
"Vegeta."
"Yes."
"I know that we've been through a lot of things together, I know that I screwed up a few times and I know that you think that I'm an idiot when it comes to being with the kids…but…"
Vegeta's and Mr. vegeta's eyes grew wide as they watched kakarot crouch, kneeling on one knee, the girls couldn't stop squealing. Kakarot pulled out a ring, vegeta swore he was red as a tomato!
"You can do it…" bardock whispered.
"…will you marry this baka and make him the happiest man until he dies?"
"Aahh-!" the girls slapped their hands over bulma's squealing mouth, they held their own squeals in.
Vegeta opened his mouth, looking at lot like a fish without water, he covered his eyes and sighed. Kakarot swallowed hard.
Bardock looked angrily at his girls when they drum rolled on the table, they stopped and giggled, they knew they were only making their brother nervous.
Kakarot waited, it felt like an eternity
Vegeta looked down at kakarot.
"Yeah." He finally said.
Kakarot let go of his breath, he chuckled as he got up, the ring fit vegeta's finger perfectly.
"BRAVO!" Raditz roared and the crowd cheered along
Vegeta wrapped his arms around kakarot's neck, the man brushed his lips over his ears, vegeta chuckled as he heard kakarot's heavy breathing.
"You ok?"
"I thought you were going to say 'no' to me."
Vegeta looked into kakarot's eyes "never."
They kissed as the girls squealed like nine year olds when they saw a brand new Barbie doll. They sounded kinda pathetic, the engage couple held each other tightly, today they had some surprises, vegeta opened his eyes still holding onto kakarot, he smiled and gently kissed kakarot's nose.
"Do you like the name Lily?"
"It's my mother's name. Yes. Why?"
Vegeta smiled, he took kakarot's hand a pressed it to his belly, kakarot's eyes went wide, he didn't notice that Mr. Vegeta followed his action, what the…!? Kakarot looked down at his hand, it was resting against vegeta's flat belly.
"Really?" he stuttered
"Yes." Vegeta smiled
"You're pregnant again?" he asked this time with a smile
"Yes."
"How do you know it's a girl?"
Vegeta shrugged "I just feel it."
Kakarot kissed vegeta's face again and again, he carried him off the floor and twirled him around, he began laughing and jumping in joy.
"EVERYONE I'M GONNA BE A DAD AGAIN!"
"Woo!" raditz howled with kakarot, his sisters, father and his brother's friends.
Everyone seemed to howl along, kakarot acted like a crazy man, he jumped up and down he laugh and danced and did all kinds of things, vegeta simply laughed and let his man do whatever he wanted.
His life was perfect now. Vegeta placed a hand over his belly and smiled, his lily, his little girl, his princess, he wondered how she would look like, what kind of things she would like, wondering if she would be like kakarot or like him, he was going to wait anxiously for her arrival.
Lily…my dear lily.
EPILOGUE:
Kakarot slammed the door close as he heard the lamp crash against it, what did he say!? He did nothing wrong! All he said was that vegeta looked cute as he ate everything, he also said he was squishy, that's it. But vegeta began to scream and cry and say that he was mean and a bastard for calling him fat…when did he do that!? He wind back on their conversation, nothing! He never said fat, nope.
"Vegeta, sweetheart, are you alright?" he asked as he popped hi head inside their room
Ack! Quickly he pulled it back out, a glass hit the door and broke to shreds
"Go away! I hate you!" Came vegeta's hysterical cry
Kakarot rolled his eyes and pressed his back to the door, he looked down and found two boys looking up at him with curious eyes, they tilt their heads, kakarot smiled and laughed nervously while putting a hand on the back of his head.
"Hi there boys!" he said
"Why is mommy crying?" zeke asked blinking up at his father
"Nothing, he's just a little moody."
"Is it because of the thingy that lives in his belly?" dante asked
"It's not a thingy, it's your baby sister."
"We don't need a sister." Both boys said
"Huh?"
"Me and dante are ok."
"Me and zeke don't want a girl."
"You say you don't want her now, but when she gets here, you boys are going to love her." Kakarot crouched and ruffled the boys' hair.
"Daddy, can we see T.V before bed?"
"Have you boys washed your teeth?"
"Yes!" they said
"Ten minutes, deal?"
"Deal, daddy." Dante shook his father's hand
As the rushed away, kakarot popped his head back inside the room, he found vegeta crying, he smiled, vegeta looked like a little boy with ice cream on his cheeks and with a baggy shirt around his body.
"Vegeta?" he asked unsure, he looked around for weapons.
"Oh goku! I'm sorry!" he cried again
"Sorry for what?" he stepped closer
"I love you so much!" he cried
"I love you too babe." He kissed vegeta's lips and hugged him tightly
"Goku?"
"Yes love?"
"…"
"Vegeta?"
He heard vegeta's heavy breathing, he guessed vegeta fell asleep, with a smile he laid his lover on the bed and curled next to him, he put his hand on vegeta's belly, feeling it move.
So this is what they call mood swings?
That's it kids! It's done, over, the end, adios, fin de la hermosa historia, yes ppl it took my years to update, but I had a small fight last night with some random girl that pushed my sister so I was in a cell for 48 hours, I lost my inspiration, but I just wanted to make it quick cuz it's 3 in the damn morning and I really can't sleep, sufferin from insomnia for almost three days now. Meh I think I should stop drinkin coffee. Nah!
