'Why?' the more Rukia thought about it, the madder she got. "There's no point in asking myself why. I have to ask her why!" Rukia said to herself. Rukia then left her house and ran towards her destination.
As Rukia was running down the street, she bumped into someone. The other person grabbed onto Rukia's arm so that Rukia wouldn't fall. Rukia looked up and was surprised to find it was Orihime. Rukia shook her arm free from Orihime's grasp.
"Kuchiki – san what is it?" asked Orihime.
"I…,"and without even finishing her sentence Rukia ran off.
"Kuchiki – san!" yelled Orihime, but Rukia kept running.
'I need to tell Karin and Yuzu,' thought Rukia.
Rukia continued to run towards her destination. As she was running, she tripped on a crack on the sidewalk. Rukia was able to break the fall by landing with her palms face down and with only one of her knees hitting the ground. Rukia got up and continued running.
Rukia who was now out of breath, had reached her destination. Rukia gave a few quick and hard knocks on the door.
"Rukia – chan?" asked a confused Yuzu.
"I need to talk to Senna – san," Rukia said as she made her way into the house and towards the living room, with Yuzu following behind her.
When Rukia entered the living room, she didn't notice that Ichigo and Karin were there as well, the only person she was looking for was Senna. "Senna – san! I need to talk to you right now!" Rukia said as she started pulling Senna's arm.
Ichigo grabbed Senna's other arm, preventing Rukia from pulling Senna. "Rukia what the hell is going on?!" he asked.
"I'll tell you all later, but right now I need to talk to Senna – san," Rukia said as she continued to pull Senna's arm, but Ichigo still had his grip on Senna.
"Rukia?" Ichigo said.
"What?!" replied a frustrated Rukia.
"You're bleeding," Ichigo stated as he pointed to Rukia's bleeding knee.
Rukia looked down at the knee she had scraped earlier and saw that it was bleeding. It wasn't that deep of a cut, but it was deep enough that it required basic first aid in order to prevent an infection. "It's fine. I'll take care of it later," replied Rukia.
Ichigo was going to argue, but while he was distracted Rukia was able to pull Senna away from Ichigo. "Rukia!" he yelled.
"It's okay," Senna said as she let Rukia lead her out of the house.
Ichigo, Karin, and Yuzu gave each other serious looks, and followed after Senna and Rukia.
Ichigo, Karin, and Yuzu were listening to the conversation from behind the gate. Normally, Ichigo liked to be direct when he was curious about something, but he knew that if he were to confront Rukia and demand to know what she wanted with Senna, that Rukia would not say anything until she wanted to.
"Rukia – chan what did you want to talk about?" asked Senna.
"Why did you do it?" asked any angry Rukia.
'Do what?' thought Ichigo.
"I'm sorry, but what did I do?" asked Senna.
"Don't play dumb! You know what I'm talking about! I heard what you said!" yelled Rukia.
"I'm sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you not feeling well?" Senna asked as she placed her hand on Rukia's forehead.
Rukia slapped Senna's hand and said, "I know what I'm talking about. Why did you start those rumors about me, Yuzu, and Karin?"
The Kurosaki siblings eyes widened in surprised. 'It was Senna that started the rumors?' thought Karin and Yuzu.
'Rumors? What rumors is Rukia talking about? Why would Senna start rumors about them? What the hell is going on?!' Ichigo thought as he was getting more upset about not know anything on the situation.
"Rumors? Rukia – chan none of this is making any sense," said Senna.
"Stop lying! I know it was you that started those rumors about Karin, how she had to force guys to go out with her. And how Yuzu would hook –up or sleep with any guy. And that I only went out with college guys because they know what to do in bed! I heard you talking with someone else so stop denying it already!"
'What?! Senna was saying all of this about my sisters and Rukia?! Why?! Why would she do this?!' Ichigo thought as he clenched and unclenched his fist in anger. Ichigo had had enough. He wasn't just going to listen to them talk. He needed to know what was going on. So he exited the gate (with Yuzu and Karin following behind him). As Ichigo was approaching Rukia and Senna, he could clearly see Rukia's angered face, while Senna had her back to Ichigo.
"Why did you do it Senna?" asked Ichigo.
Senna turned to face Ichigo and her demeanor completely changed. Senna let out a deep sigh and coldly said, "I knew you would believe her," Senna emphasized the last word as she pointed to Rukia.
Ichigo gave Senna a confused look and asked, "What is that supposed to mean?"
"I did it because I hate them all!" Senna yelled.
"Why?" Ichigo asked as he sadly looked at Senna.
"Why? Because I was jealous of them! Why is that you would always talk about your family and Rukia with me, but you never ever told them about me! We dated for months and you never told them about me! Not even when you offered to let me spend the summer with you and your family! It made me feel like an idiot, I was obviously wasting my time on you while you had feelings for stupid Rukia!
"This still doesn't make any sense! If you hated them then why stay with me?! We were even planning on moving in together!" Ichigo yelled.
Senna scoffed and replied, "Afterwards, I was only with you for convenience. If we moved in together I would save on living expenses."
Ichigo sadly looked down at the ground and said, "You're lying, it wasn't because it was convenient that you stayed. It can't be."
"It's all true," stated Senna.
"Yuzu go get Senna's things," Ichigo said.
"Right," Yuzu then left to go retrieve Senna's things.
"Kicking me out? How harsh of you Ichigo," Senna said sarcastically.
"Why stay? It's no longer convenient for you to stay now that everyone knows," replied Ichigo and Senna gave a cold laugh.
"H – here are y – your things," Yuzu said as she nervously gave Senna her things. Senna took her things and started walking away from Ichigo and towards Rukia. When Senna was face to face with Rukia, Senna said, "By the way all those things I told you about my sex life with Ichigo were true." Rukia made a disgusted face and Senna laughed at Rukia's reaction. Senna then continued to leave. The Kurosaki siblings and Rukia watched until Senna was no longer in view.
When Senna was no longer in view Yuzu said, "I can't believe she tricked us all."
"I knew there was something I didn't like about her," replied Karin.
"Yuzu, Karin take Rukia inside and treat her cut," Ichigo said.
"Where are you going?" asked Rukia.
"For walk," replied Ichigo.
"I – Ichigo," Rukia started but was interrupted by Ichigo when he said, "All of you just go inside." The girls all nodded okay and went inside while Ichigo went out for a walk.
As Ichigo was walking around town, he didn't know how he was supposed to feel. It was obvious that he felt betrayed, but should he be sad that he and Senna broke up? Should he be happy that he found out the type of person she really was before things got even more serious? Should he apologize for neglecting her feelings? Should he demand that Senna apologize to his sisters and Rukia? Should he ask for another explanation? Because that explanation just didn't sit well with him. Or should he try to move on? Start looking for another girlfriend? But what if his new girlfriend was just like Senna and had ill intent towards his family? What if Rukia caused friction between his next relationship as well? Does that mean that he should distance himself from Rukia? Ichigo let out a frustrated sigh and started making his way back home.
Meanwhile, in Yuzu and Karin's room. Karin said, "I can't believe we told her about the rumors and she acted like she was actually worried about us. That bitch!"
"(Gasp) Karin – chan!" Yuzu scolded.
"What? She is a bitch! You heard the stupid reason she gave for starting those rumors."
"I – I know but you don't have to use that kind of language," replied Yuzu.
"I agree with Karin. She's crazy! Who gets jealous over someone else's siblings and their friend, and then goes and starts mean rumors about them?" added Rukia.
"I don't agree with what Senna – san did but you and Onii – chan do have an unusual relationship," added Yuzu.
"How is it unusual? Me and Ichigo have always been this way," replied Rukia.
"I don't know….but sometimes you and Onii – chan act like an old married couple," responded Yuzu.
"Why are we analyzing Ichi – nii's relationship with Rukia? We should just be happy that we don't have to deal with Senna anymore," Karin said. They then heard the front door downstairs close a bit louder than usual.
"I think Ichigo is home," Rukia stated. "I'm gonna go check on him and then go home."
"Okay," Yuzu said as she saw Rukia get up and head to the door.
When Rukia was at the door Karin said, "Rukia," Rukia looked back at Karin, "Just keep it brief, I think Ichi – nii still needs some space." Rukia nodded okay at Karin and exited the room.
As Rukia was coming out of Karin and Yuzu's room, Ichigo was almost to his room.
"Ichigo?" Rukia called. Ichigo however, did not respond so Rukia moved closer and placed her hand on Ichigo's back and continued, "I know she hurt you, but remember she hurt us as well. I'm your friend and I just want to help."
"FRIEND?! Since when the hell have you been my friend?" Ichigo asked coldly.
Rukia was shocked and hurt by his words, she slowly removed her hand from his back and sadly said, "Right. Just don't worry your sisters." Rukia then turned to leave. When Ichigo no longer heard Rukia's footsteps he entered his room.
Once in his room, Ichigo laid on his bed and let out a big sigh. "Damn it…why do I keep hurting her? She was just trying to help…" Ichigo mumbled to himself. As Ichigo laid on his bed motionless. He still couldn't understand why Senna did what she did. She explained why she did it, it was because she was jealous. But no matter how hard Ichigo thought about it, he still couldn't understand Senna's reasoning behind her actions. The whole situation was very surreal to Ichigo. And to make things worse, Ichigo just screwed up with Rukia by basically saying she was nothing to him. "Fuck. I lost Senna, but even worse I lost Rukia," Ichigo said to himself and then let out an exhausted sigh.
Elsewhere, as Rukia was walking home, she couldn't help but cry. Ichigo's words hurt much more than any of the rumors that Senna started. Rukia felt stupid for crying over something so trivial, she felt like a five year old kid that starts to bawl his eyes out when another one of classmates says, 'You're not my friend.' As much as she willed the tears to stop, they just continued to flow from her eyes and after awhile Rukia gave and let the tears fall freely.
The next day, Rukia was moping around at home. And it didn't help that the house was empty as usual. Rukia let out a deep breath and thought, 'What am I supposed to do now? Wait a minute! Why am I feeling sorry for myself?! Ichigo's the one who just got his heartbroken.' "That bastard is getting a friend whether he wants one or not!" Rukia said to herself and then went to go get dressed.
At the Kurosaki household, Karin and Yuzu were sadly sitting around on the couch. Ichigo had been locked up in his room all day. "Should we go check on Onii – chan?" asked Yuzu.
"No, he needs his space. If we go check on him he'll just snap at us for bothering him," replied Karin.
"But he didn't come down for breakfast."
"When Ichi – nii gets hungry he'll come down and get something to eat," Karin said. Although, Karin was trying to act like nothing was wrong with Ichigo, she was just as worried as Yuzu.
A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door, Karin and Yuzu went to see who was at the door.
"Rukia? What are you doing here?" asked Karin.
"I'm here to see Ichigo," replied Rukia.
"Onii – chan has been in his room all day," stated Yuzu.
"Is it okay if I go see him?" asked Rukia. Karin and Yuzu looked at each other before nodding okay to Rukia.
Rukia quietly entered Ichigo's room. She saw that Ichigo was still in bed, and saw that he had the blanket over his head. Rukia quietly approached the bed and then forcefully yanked the blanket from Ichigo.
"What the hell?!" Ichigo yelled as he quickly sat up. What he saw next completely surprised him. There stood a smirking Rukia. "Rukia? What are you doing here?" he asked and thought, 'I thought she would hate me after what I said yesterday.'
"I'm here to get your lazy ass out of bed. Now get dressed, I'm taking you out."
Ichigo picked up his blanket that was now on the floor, and said, "I don't feel like it. Maybe some other time." Ichigo then got back in bed.
"Ichigo get out of bed!" Rukia said as she started tugging on the blanket again.
"I said no Rukia!" Ichigo yelled as he also pulled on the blanket.
Rukia huffed and let of the blanket. "You are going! I don't care if I have to dress you myself. Where do you keep you shirts?" Rukia said as she started going through drawers.
"Stop going through my stuff!" Ichigo yelled and quickly got out of bed to stop Rukia from going through his things. "I can dress myself. Just get out!" Ichigo said as he forced Rukia out of his room.
Rukia was waiting for Ichigo downstairs in the kitchen with Yuzu and Karin.
"I'm ready," stated an unenthusiastic Ichigo.
"Okay! Girls I'll bring Ichigo back later," Rukia said as she happily led the way.
Once they were out the door Yuzu asked, "Do you think it's a good idea for Rukia – chan to take Onii – chan out?"
"I don't know…Rukia can bring out the worst in Ichi – nii, but she also tends to bring out the best in him. Guess we'll see when he gets home."
"Yeah, I guess it's better than him being in his room all day," Yuzu replied. Both Yuzu and Karin hoped that Ichigo would return in better spirits.
As Ichigo and Rukia were walking, Ichigo asked "Where are we going?"

And also most of you guessed it, Senna was the one spreading the rumors. Her confession was more dramatic in my head, but when I sat down to type it just wouldn't come out.
