I had this written earlier in the day but didn't get to finish proof reading it before Hannibal came on. I ended up adding to it because I got super hyper and excited after the episode so...uh I hope you like this.
Carol's stomach tightened watching Daryl and his hands deft movements. He was looking at her as he hit his knees right at her feet. That alone was enough to have fire burn into her bones and her blood to pound out a rhythm against her skin that had her feeling weird. Her thighs tightened and pressed together on their own knowing more than even her what he done to her. How could she not understand him or her own body so much? She felt so out of her depth. Since meeting him her body had a mind of its own just as much as her hands. How many times had she mentally chastised herself when she found her hands or fingers lazily running over the contours of his body.
Daryl's bright blue eyes flashed up to her and his smile was broad, "You think you can distract them?"
"Yes." Her voice shook and her breath was shallow. "Shouldn't be too hard."
His eyes came to her at the sound and his brow started climbing higher. His eyes felt like they were touching her everywhere they went. When they went eye level with her thighs and waist her face flooded red. He was so close to her that his breath was fanning the skin of her thighs as she squirmed. She almost wished to tangle her hand in his hair and drag him to her the rest of the way just so she could feel his mouth on her. What the hell what that? Carol's mind recoiled from the thought unsure where it was coming from. How can she want to do such a thing when she wasn't even sure what it was really she was wanting to do? Though her mind whispered to her that Daryl knew exactly what she needed.
He cleared his throat a few times his eyes still on her thighs, "Make sure that they don't leave this room until I get back."
He stood fluidly his body brushing hers and setting what she already thought was an inferno into a raging fire. She was being consumed. She was going to die from a heat stroke and knew it. He was killing her! That or she had a severe medical issue and fever that she was unaware of. Her body was starting to ache being this close to him and she felt the need to touch him, to feel the heat that was him, to kiss him- she just needed something and knew that he would help if she only knew what it was. She felt stupid and part of just wanted to flat out ask but another part- a more dominant part was to embarrassed by such thoughts.
Carol watched Daryl slide out the double doors that went to the deck and then he was gone. She swallowed thickly and resolved herself to another long night. Before she could think on it too much though Mac and Merle both appeared with mischief in their eyes. Carol smiled at them and ducked her head. Daryl often told her that she looked the picture of innocence so she was going to use that now.
She liked both of them. They'd intimidated her at first but then who wouldn't they? They were a force of nature and extremely protective. She knew that Merle didn't trust her around Daryl at first. She could see it in his eyes and the way he watched her. Mac didn't seem as concerned but he was a brazen jackass, or that was what Jess called him. Though while they studied her she done the same to them. She knew that both of them had a fondness for her that wasn't beyond just sisterly. She knew that was a first for them. To see a girl and not immediately have some kind of filth circling around in their minds.
"Where's that asshole at now?" Mac questioned.
Carol shrugged and both of them eased into the room more. "I think he went to get something to drink or eat. I'm not sure."
Merle hummed and then walked the rest of the way in. Like he'd been waiting for Merle to make the first move Mac shadowed him.
"Think that was cute throwing water in my face?"
Carol smiled brightly at him and nodded. Mac snorted and Carol took a seat on the couch that was in Daryl's room. Merle followed her and flopped boneless down next to her groaning and arching his back till it popped. Mac appeared on the other side but fell over the back of the couch landing awkwardly next to her. His legs dangled up and over the back with his head down by her knees.
"So you gonna tell us what he's up to?"
Carol sighed and shook her head, "I think he's just psyching you all out."
"No he's a sneaky this fuck face." Mac chuckled, "He's find his gift?"
Carol frowned. She remembered Mac mentioning getting him something but Daryl had been adamant that he didn't want anything. She didn't get why but then she didn't understand men.
"Mmmm he will." Mac's eyes flashed over towards the bookshelf that set next to the television stand.
Nothing stood out to her but she figured for Daryl it would. He knew where everything was in his room and exactly how it'd been placed. She would tell him what Mac done and he'd know doubt scowl hissing something under his breath.
"You all fucked yet?" Merle was blunt.
Carol's face blazed and Mac let his legs fall over to rest over the arms of the couch. He moved almost like a snake. He looked like he was slithering on his back with the way he was arching and shifting his body. His head dropped down on her leg and his arm flew backwards. Merle grunted roughly when his fist connected with his chest.
"Daryl will gut you and dad will shit a fuckin' brick house hearing you talk to her like that." Mac growled and then his eyes went to Carol's. "But really..."
"No." Carol scrunched her face up.
She didn't get a chance to really feel one way or another about Merle's directness. She knew it wasn't to embarrass her if it had been he would have waited on Daryl to be there. Merle was just nosy and way too blunt for his own good. Was that was she was craving? No she needed and wanted. Is that was this fire was about? It was under her skin and he was imprinted on her bones.
"Oh fuck she's clueless." Mac snorted.
Merle's eyes went to her and then he smiled widely. "Hell Mac give her the gift then it might move things along."
Mac smiled and waggled his brows. He motioned over to where she figured he'd set whatever it was. "Daryl's a pissy ass and wont take my gift Carol." Mac pouted his lip jutting out. Merle shook next to her laughing silently, "And since you bastardized my dog and he now will only respond to fucking Sassy you have to take it."
Carol frowned and Mac stared her down. Merle shifted his arm over the back of the couch, "A welcome to the family- Dixon style."
Carol licked her lips and nodded nervously. "It won't hurt will it? It isn't something that is going to get me in trouble?"
Mac studied her his face carefully blank, "I promise you won't get hurt."
"Are you lying?"
"No." Mac setup.
Daryl slid into the room chugging water as sweat slid down his face from his hair. He eyed all of them and walked forward more. Carol could hear someone down stairs and doors shutting.
"Food is here."
Mac licked his lips and nodded while Merle walked over to Daryl. He pulled him into him some speaking low and roughing up his sweat soaked hair. Carol felt envious because she wanted to slide her hand into Daryl's hair...to just put her hands on him in general. Feeling eyes on her she tore her gaze away from Daryl and seen Mac smiling at her still right there. He'd barely moved off her after using her as a pillow. Carol eyed him before striking and pinching his side to get him to move. She wanted to distract him from whatever he was about to say- his eyes wrote novels and this one was nothing but filth already. Her eyes went involuntarily to Daryl again and she bit her lip trying to get a grip on the fire in her lower belly. Shifting in her seat and pressing her thighs together more his eyes flashed down and the smile on his face turned lewd and knowing immediately. Like she was jealous of those hands on Daryl she was jealous of the knowledge in Mac's eyes.
"What?" She hissed.
His boots hit right next to her feet and he grinned, "You really that clueless?" Carol frowned and her face flushed. Mac's eyes went to Daryl and Merle and then to her. "I'll tell you what..." He leaned and pulled her up with him. Daryl's eyes were on her immediately but Mac pulled her right next to him and pretended to be looking at a stack of books.
She listened to him intently her eyes wide and on Mac. He wasn't looking at her but instead moving everything he could get his hands on. Even if only by in an inch but she knew what he was doing. Grinning she started shuffling things as well and Mac grinned at her winking as they messed up his carefully construed chaos.
"Mac I can't say things like that..." Carol whined.
Mac's smile was wolfish as he started moving books off the shelf and hiding others. "Sure you can..."
Carol scowled and looked over her shoulder but quickly looked away. Daryl was peeling his sweat soaked shirt from his body and Merle was still talking to him. Daryl was nodding along to him and smiling. She didn't need to see him like this because whatever was going on was making her mind melt because she was seriously considering Mac's advice.
"Why can't you just not be cryptic." Carol mumbled under her breath.
Mac spun on the spot and leaned against the wall. His eyes were behind her and she was thankful. He had eyes that were just like Daryl's and though they didn't set her on fire they had a knowledge about them that made her struggle at times to meet his.
"You're horny for fucks sake Carol." Mac's voice was low. "How the fuck are you friends with Natalie and Andrea and not fucking know what all is going on?"
Carol huffed a breath but considered his words. Was that what this was? She was lusting after Daryl. Her face flamed because the second the thought went into her mind something even more filthy followed. Feeling her mouth go dry she sighed and looked at Mac.
"You know..." He stretched, "If you'd just stop thinking about shit and just do what felt normal your ass wouldn't be standing there like you were." Mac looked right at her. He wasn't being harsh, he wasn't leering, he seemed almost brotherly. "Daryl will never push you- he isn't me or Merle. Got to much fucking respect to be a pushy bastard like we are."
Carol nodded as he started to walk away. He turned though and caught her wrist, "Don't take no shit, Carol." He eyed her and then grinned, "Take what the fuck you want because honestly the two of you give me blue balls and I can't imagine what the fuck he feels like. I'm bet his goddamn wrist is sprained and palm is raw."
Carol's mouth dropped open.
"Besides if he fucks up to bad you got two hands to finish the job yourself." He guffawed and released her wrist as he made quick jerking motions at his groin walking away.
Just as the door shut Carol looked over and Daryl was smiling at her. His eyes glinted and he kicked his boots off. "Wont be long."
Carol walked over forcing her eyes off his bare chest. "How mad do you think Merle will be?"
"He's going to punch me in the dick." He made a pained face and the grinned, "But all the same we need to get you practiced before shit really hits the fan."
Carol smiled widely, "They won't see me coming."
"That's the plan." He smiled and yawned and fell backwards on his bed groaning as his muscles relaxed.
Carol walked over crawling up on the bed as he rolled over burying his face in the pillow. He was muttering to himself and Carol smiled. He was still shirtless and her hands itched to touch him still. She was comfortable with him. She was immediately when she met him truthfully but after his words that he was attracted to her, seeing him hit Joe, and Mac's own words to take what she wanted she felt more confident. She felt like she had an earthquake in her mind and body building. Moving quick she straddled his hips her body settled over his. He didn't tense but looked over his shoulder at her arching a brow. Her knees thighs were pressed tightly against his body and she started kneading the muscles along his back. It was a heady rush for someone who could have such a temper so docile under her.
He let a long protracted groan and went boneless under her hands. His head was turned to the side and even though his eyes were closed he a sleepy smile on his face. His breathing evened out quickly and she knew he was asleep but she kept up working the kinks out of the muscles and just touching. She couldn't have stopped if she wanted too and she knew he didn't want her too. Daryl would have told her quickly if he wasn't okay with her hands on him. She seen him snap at Natalie just the other day for something as simple as touching him and he flinched back. He didn't welcome touch from everyone. It made her think of Will's own words that they were good for each other.
That need in her was climbing to a fever pitch and Mac's words seemed even more reasonable after all. Especially when he was sleepily rolling over despite her setting on him. He was groggy as his eyes opened and focused on her. She quickly found herself straddling his groin and swallowed thickly her hand settling on his stomach and the other on his chest. She felt heat from his body wrap around coaxing her closer to him and he gave her a lazy sleepy smile.
"What're you doin' Carol?" He yawned but made no move to remove her from his lap or her hands from for that matter.
Tensing her fingers she felt a slight jerk roll down his body like a tidal wave. She felt it settled right between her thighs and bit her lip. How would she had felt today had that been a woman hitting on Daryl like that? She was pretty sure she picked the best times to ask the worst questions because she felt it coming up. Were they dating? Was she Daryl's girlfriend? Had he told her or made it clear? She wasn't sure because the heat that'd been rampant her body here lately seemed to have fried her brain.
Daryl met her eyes again after her hands stopped tensing and she relaxed the bite of her nails into him. He moved fast and she shouldn't have been surprised but she was. His mouth was on hers and if she thought she was on fire before then this was so much worse but better at the same time. Her body was flush with his as he let his weight fall back and taking her with him. He didn't push to take control from her and Carol relaxed even more. She felt frantic as her hands and his moved.
The kiss broke when she couldn't go without air and she moaned suddenly when his hands went to her hips dragging her body into his. Before she even knew what she was doing, because truthfully she had no idea, she rocked her hips into him. He made a noise in this throat before it morphed suddenly and a growl rumbled in his chest as his lips moved down her throat. Whatever he was doing was making the ache between her thighs worse and she repeated her actions.
His grip became bruising against her as their bodies moved together and she panted against his lips. Each breath and movement made her lips brush his own as she held tight to him not knowing what else she should do. His eyes were locked with hers the blue bled away to a darkness that had her gasping. The second she gasped she seen something glint in his eyes and he leaned that last fraction between them. His teeth caught her lips and he bit down before soothing the bite with his own tongue and kissing down her jaw.
"Let go Carol." He growled his breath hot against her over sensitized skin.
His voice was all it took to send her fall into an abyss of sensation. Her lungs seemed to pick that moment to stop functioning and she collapsed against him while her body simultaneously bowed. She was sure she blacked out because when her mind finally came back to life his hand was running up and down her spine. His breathing was faster than usual and she felt like she had melted over him covering most of him. He didn't seem to mind though as he kept his face buried in her neck breathing deeply.
Carol pressed her face into him and caught his hand locking her fingers with his. She was embarrassed. Not for what had happened but for honestly being so clueless. It took his brother to let her know and she was sure she hadn't been quiet. Oh god what if they heard! Her chest heaved and he shifted below her tightening his arm around her back while the other kept making small soothing motions on her skin.
"Breathe." His voice was husky and she done just that. "Feel better?"
Carol was pretty sure she heard amusement in his voice. Leaning back enough so she could see his face she seen just that. He grinned at her and cocked a brow before snorting.
"Why are you scowling at me?"
"It's not funny."
"I'm not laughing."
"Stop smiling."
"Yes ma'am."
Carol growled and set up her hands slapping down on his chest. He grunted but let her move and his teeth sunk into his lip immediately.
"Don't yes ma'am me." Carol growled.
Daryl set up his elbows supporting his weight and eyed her, "Then what would you rather me do?"
Carol studied his eyes and felt that heat starting again. His eyes were still that dark storm that had locked with her own eyes. Carol shifted closer to him and her eyes widened feeling him pressing right into eyes dropped down his body without any thought to it. Just like that she knew she'd never have enough of any and everything Daryl Dixon.
