Chapter. 26: Twisted Fun

I always thought I was a strange child. But I didn't expect my personality to go this far.

As soon as I felt power, I realized I would always seem to emit a ferocious intent to kill when I looked at someone when my eyes turned magenta purple.

Then I quelled my Nen power and my eyes flickered back to a normal bright emerald green, everyone around me would relax a little more, making me wonder if I was really that scary.

Saki lowered the mirror and I saw her, a little shaken at my new appearance.

Even though I hadn't changed that much, it was clear that absolutely everyone other than Illumi had tensed up in the room.

Killua narrowed his eyes as I looked at him for some sort of assistance.

"You smell of hatred." was all he said. I knew why.

Illumi's nen was dark. Full of anguish. I felt it pulsating in my blood but it fueled my anger. It also made me very tired.

I flopped down on the ground, my knees buckling as I gulped away the anxiousness.

It's ok, Natsumi. I thought desperately.

It's only until my Nen is up and running again.

Illumi leaned over and grabbed my upper arm, gently pulling me up to my feet as I absent-mindedly leaned on him, my eyes wide and distant.

"I'm sorry my Nen was the only one strong enough to boost yours." He whispered, leading me to the window as power continued to surge through me.

My blood boiled, and I was positive he could feel the heat radiating from my skin.

"Go." He said, pushing me forwards.

My eyes flared bright purple as I jumped out the window, the force of my leg leaving the floor made the ground shake, the carpet under my feet exploding, the wood shattering into splinters.

And I was gone.

Running faster than I ever ran before.

Trees whirled past my face as my feet carried me through the forest at super speed, all that training Netero helped me with when I lost my Nen was effectively improving the way I moved. This put together with my nen concentrated into my legs made me grasp the ground as I kicked off, landing large holes in the ground as I ran.

I felt myself forming a new ability while I ran, being the second time I created my ability, it made it easier and the process smoother as snake-like long, lashing bits of Nen came from my hands.

I ran faster and faster, the ground eroded after my feet had passed over them.

I felt like I was running on air, that I was one with the wind as it guided me.

My senses heightened as I could see further, hear clearer and smell, oh the smell. Sickening monstrosity filled my nose as I tore past some more trees. My nen licked at the branches for a moment as I passed, remembering each crevice of the path I passed.

I could see the building now, my Nen roared around me as I pushed off the ground with so much force I collided into the side of the building, creating a gaping hole as I tore through the brick and stone, cement burning under my grasp as the windows bent like butter.

I jumped into the musky building, the rays of light that shot through the entrance I had made caused multiple creatures to scuttle away in fear, making their way down into the depths of the dark, enclosed walls.

I breathed a sigh of contempt as I looked down at my hands, easily activating Gyo and seeing my dark Nen ripple around my body.

"Let's get ready to rumble." I said smirking, puffs of poison coming out of my mouth as I said so.

Yes, that's right. My new ability, was poison.

3rd Person P.O.V:

Kurapika started to sweat nervously. All he could do was stand there and watch, Natsumi was gone. Illumi looked as emotionless as ever as time seemed to stop for everybody.

"Illumi!" Saki said her voice strained and cracking.

"What did you do to Natsumi?!" She said, grappling Illumi's arms and shaking him the best she could, her actions weak as tears formed in her eyes.

"She has created a new ability, and all we can do now is trust her to get herself back here and be her normal self again." Illumi said, his eyes slightly narrowing as he looked to Gon then Killua.

Killua was glaring menacingly at Illumi, then at the window where Natsumi had jumped out of.

"She's going to be swallowed by her revenge." He said calmly, but he didn't look calm at all.

Killua then looked to where Illumi was looking, at Kurapika.

"Just like you."

The two former assassin brothers walked towards the trembling Kuruta, they're eyes gleaming with anger for Natsumi.

"Spit it out." Killua said, stepping closer to Kurapika. Intimidating him with every step. His hands flexed and veins popped from his hands as his nails grew dangerously sharp.

Kurapika cowered in Killua's presence. His musky dark blue eyes bore into the Kuruta's.

"Why are you helping Buhara?"

Netero jumped from tree to tree, balancing on the tips of the highest branches as he watched Natsumi running below him.

Netero had decided to follow her, just in case.

He could still keep up with her stride, but he wasn't far from losing her from his sight.

'I didn't think Illumi's Nen could change her this much' He thought to himself, seeing Natsumi's gleaming eyes. 'Or maybe it's not his nen that is doing this?'

He would have shuddered if he wasn't the veteran he was.

As soon as they could both see the looming building, Natsumi jumped, pushing off the ground and throwing herself at the thick, vandalized wall.

Natsumi's P.O.V:

I punched the wall on the other side of where I had come through, taking out a good chunk of cement, I looked through the hole I had made, to see two men in cloaks, similar to the ones that had dragged Kurapika away the last time we were here.

They stood up without a word and stepped back in surprise as they saw just my magenta eyes, glinting with terrifying amounts of anger.

They shouted something inaudible, but I didn't have the courtesy to let them finish.

I jumped in front of the two and caught them with my coiled Nen snakes, coiling around the two men's wrists as I breathed deadly poison into their faces.

The men died almost instantly as I smiled brightly and hit the next wall, that was the move I like to call, The Silent Killer.

Bubble: AArgh a late post again! WHY do I do this there's no action in this at all xD I will definitely put some in the next chapter though, thank you for waiting everybody!
