"Try and catch me! Oh wait, you can't! You don't have wings!"

"No fair! You're cheating!"

"How else would I win?"

Sylvia was perched on a large Baria Crystal, her large sky-blue eyes watching Mizael attempt to catch Vector. The two of them had gotten into a massive argument, and Sylvia's twin brother had decided the only way to settle it would be a short fist fight.

The only problem, however, was that Vector was cheating and using his wings to fly away. And no matter how hard he tried, Mizael simply couldn't catch him.

"Come on, you dumb dumb!" Mizael wailed. He jumped up, waving his arm around in attempt to even touch Vector's foot. "Get down from there! You have to follow the rules too, y'know!"

Vector, if he'd been in his human form, would've been grinning. "Who says? 'Cause I don't see it written down anywhere."

With that, the gray Barian flew on top of an extremely tall Baria Crystal, way out of Mizael's reach.

"Arrrrgh!"

"Mizael, c'mon," Sylvia squeaked. She got up, knocking red dust off her skirt as she walked over to her brother. "He's Vector. How can you expect him to listen to you?"

Mizael looked angered for a moment. Soon enough, however, he sighed and plopped onto the ground. "Whatever," he muttered under his breath.

A small giggle came from Sylvia. She turned around, examining the Baria Crystal that Vector was sitting on. Then she noticed a pile of flat crystals lying next to it. Eagerly, the young Barian raced to the crystal pile. Sylvia began placing them on top of one another in neat piles, each pile getting slightly taller as she went. Mizael watched curiously, wondering what his twin sister was going to do.

"There," Sylvia said. She hopped on top of the first pile of crystals, which shook slightly under her weight. She then jumped on the next pile, and the next, each one wobbling when she landed on them. It wasn't until she got to the second-to-last pile did Mizael realize what Sylvia was doing.

"Sylvia!" Mizael yelled, watching Sylvia jump on top of the Baria Crystal Vector had flown onto.

Sylvia turned around. "What?" she asked. "It's not my fault you didn't think to make stairs."

Then, she turned back around, finding Vector there. His wings were pressed against his body, and he appeared to be asleep. Sylvia inched closer, extremely slowly. She chuckled a little when she heard the gray Barian before her snoring softly.

Idiot, Sylvia thought. "Hey, Vector!" she yelled. She gave Vector a swift kick in the back, causing him to yelp and jolt up.

"GAH! What, what's going on?!" Vector hollered this, looking around wildly.

"Time to wake up," Sylvia responded. She turned around, this time jumping from the top of the huge Baria Crystal. Vector watched closely as the young blond landed cleanly on her feet. When she glanced back at him, she had a rather creepy expression on her mouthless face.

Mizael was dumbfounded. This was partly do to the fact he still couldn't believe he didn't think to make stairs to get on top of the crystal, but also because he was stunned to see his twin sister just jump off the top of said crystal and land without hurting herself. Honestly, as soon as she landed she just walked away.

A small laugh came from above. Mizael looked up, finding Vector sitting there, a rather strange look on his face.

"What?" Mizael asked.

"Oh, nothing," Vector replied, tossing another giggle in the middle of that. "You're sister is just unique. It's amusing."

Mizael raised an eyebrow, watching as Vector flicked his wings before flying after Sylvia.

Sometimes, I wonder about that idiot, Mizael thought, slowly following after his twin sister and the gray Barian that was with her.

"Don't you remember that?"

Mizael nodded, but he shrugged his shoulders at the same time. "Yeah, sure. Kinda."

"'Kinda'?"

Again, Mizael nodded.

Sylvia sighed. "You're an idgit sometimes, Mizael. Honestly. That was when we were nine. Not all too long ago, y'know."

"If you think six years isn't all too long ago, then sure. I suppose not."

The blond Barian twins had been talking about their childhood for the past few hours. Sylvia had brought up Vector and his wild antics a few times, something Mizael was simply not comfortable with. His sister, however, didn't really give a crap. She continued talking anyway, almost as though she had a major crush on the Barian in question, which was something Mizael had been wondering for a while.

"I mean, really. How could you not think to build stairs out of those crystals?" Sylvia asked, crossing her arms as she stared at Mizael.

Mizael glared. "I just didn't!" he retorted.

A small smile crossed the mouth of Sylvia's human form. Mizael looked at her, raising an eyebrow as he did. When Sylvia giggled, he knew the answer to his question.

Sylvia could sense Vector's presence.

"Ah, the maniacal imbecile. I'm not surprised," Mizael said. He looked back down, sorting the cards in his deck as he did.

"Huh? What do you mean, Mizael?" Sylvia asked. She could feel the blush on her cheeks heating up.

"You've got a crush on him. It's obvious."

The blond male hadn't even meant to say that. It just slipped out. But nonetheless, Mizael was rather thankful he'd said what had been on his mind for the past six years. If he hadn't done it then, it probably wouldn't have happened.

Ever.

"Wha?! W-What makes you say that brother?"

"The way you stare at him when he walks away. The flirty stare you use to look at him. The giggle you make when you sense his presence. Oh, and the blush on your cheeks that happens to appear every time someone mentions his name."

Sylvia looked away, the blush on her cheeks getting darker.

"Yeah. Okay. You caught me. I have a crush on the maniac," Sylvia whispered. She almost sounded upset when she said that. Mizael's guess was the fact she just never thought she'd have to admit it.

"I knew it!" Mizael yelled. He jumped up, dancing around in a small circle and knocking his cards off the Baria Crystal the twins were sitting on. A gasp escaped his lips, and he jumped off said crystal, attempting to catch Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon before it could fall to the ground.

Sylvia sighed. Then, she stood up, vanishing with a small flash of white light.

Barian World was darker than usual, signifying it was deep into the night. All of the Barians, save for Sylvia, who simply couldn't sleep, were locked deep in their dreams.

The blond Barian was perched at the edge of her and Mizael's bed. For the past two hours, she'd been sitting there, staring at the floor. Though her neck was beginning to hurt, she stayed there, frozen to her spot. It had been silent up until now, when she was suddenly beginning to hear the sound of thumping coming from the throne room.

"What the..." Sylvia muttered it quietly under her breath. She then got up, vanishing through an Overlay Network and appearing near the throne room.

Sylvia walked around curiously. She froze when she heard the sound of something thumping against one of the crystals in the middle of the room. The blond straightened up and proceeded on, searching for whatever could be making the sound. Sylvia spotted something sitting upon one of the Barian Crystals. With a raised eyebrow, she walked over slowly, then gasped nearly silently.

It was Vector who was sitting upon the crystal. He was swinging his feet back and forth, going through his deck and allowing his heels to knock against the crystal beneath him. His wings were folded neatly behind his back.

Sylvia climbed on top of the crystal, slowly and silently. She was amazed Vector didn't sense her presence.

Well, it was that, or he chose not to realize something was behind him.

It didn't matter. Sylvia didn't mind too much. She just wanted to watch the Barian in front of her for a moment anyway. So she did. The blond Barian sat down, staring intently at the gray one before her as he went through his deck.

This is better then sleep, Sylvia thought. Maybe I'll just sit here until he leaves.

But slowly, Sylvia crawled forward, defying her plan to stay put for a while. She swung her feet over the edge of the crystal, then just sat there for a moment, motionless and silent. Sylvia watched as Vector placed one hand down near her in total unawareness, then just thumbed through his cards with one hand. The blond Barian behind him just stared solemnly.

And before she even knew what she was thinking, she had placed her hand on top of Vector's.

"What the..." Vector turned around, curiously staring at Sylvia with his violet eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"What the hell are you doing, Sylvia?"

"I'm not doing anything."

"Yes you are."

"Are you talking about this?" Sylvia asked, holding her hand up. It was still clenched around Vector's. He nodded and stared into Sylvia's eyes. She just shrugged.

"Yes. Why are you doing it?"

"Well, I guess you don't remember what happened in our first lives. But I do."

Vector froze. He gulped, then watched as Sylvia changed to her human form. The gray Barian copied the blond's previous action, then just stared into her blue eyes. Sylvia smiled and linked her fingers with Vector's, giggling as a small tint of red became visible on his cheeks.

"I remember that clearly, Sylvia. And...I'm sorry I allowed those days to disappear..."

"Don't talk, just..."

Sylvia didn't even finish her sentence. Rather, she just leaned over and kissed Vector on the lips. This caused Vector's whole body to tense with shock and his eyes to widen. Sylvia did almost the exact same thing, only, her eyes were closed.

When she pulled away, both were blushing madly.

"Just forget about it. You know I love you anyway, you maniac." Sylvia smiled. Vector blinked, then did the same thing nervously. He watched as the girl in front of him rubbed against his shoulder affectionately, clinging to his arm happily. Sky-blue eyes met violet orbs as they stared at one another curiously.

"You really must not have much for a brain if you trust me not to hurt you," Vector whispered, staring straight down at Sylvia. She just shrugged.

"I know you're sorta crazy, but you're really not that bad. Well, you haven't been for a while, at least."

"Whatever you say."

"Vector, I mean it. You really aren't as bad as you used to be. Course, you're not as good as you used to be, either, but you could work up to it again."

"Doubt it."

"You could so!" Sylvia argued. She smiled and leaned right against Vector, using her right hand to mess up his hair for a moment before standing. With a wink, she turned and vanished back to her room, leaving Vector there to just smirk at the girl's actions.

Sylvia emerged on the other side in her room. She chuckled when she saw Mizael was still asleep, but was rather thankful for it as well. If he found out about what she'd just done, it probably wouldn't go over too well with him. Quietly, she crawled next to her twin brother and fell asleep somewhat faster than she thought she would.

All the while, she was thinking about Vector and the days before he'd gone insane.
