I guess I'm not very good with Huey/Jazmine since I only got three reviews last chapter. When people don't say anything I do feel like I did something wrong or that people don't like it. Though I do appreciate those that did review, I just like to know what others think as well, so if you feel up to please review and let me know.

Also just a note, but soon I may be putting up a new story(a non Boondocks one). I won't say what it is, only that it's a movie and a pretty popular one at that, so if anyone is interested give it a look when I have it up.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything.

Boondocks Chapter 26

"Remember, don't let anything happen while I'm gone. I'm trusting you with this"

"Don't worry, Huey" Michael said confidently. "I got this"

Huey closed the door behind and Michael could hear his footsteps go door the stairs. When he heard the front door open and close, Michael pumped his fist out in the air.

"Yes!" he said triumphantly. "I knew I could get him to go out with Jazmine!"

"Yeah you should be real proud of yourself" Riley said sarcastically. "You just sent Huey to spend all his money on Jazmine at the carnival. Bet Huey's gonna end up becoming a player like Granddad. Start dating a buncha crazy hoes and they spend all our money on them, then invite them over to mooch on us and make a mess of the bathroom. Yeah good job Michael. Now we gonna have two Granddad's in the house"

Michael stared at Riley impassively. "You got a really sick imagination you know that?"

"Whatever man" Riley said. "I'm going out for a while". Riley hopped off the bed and made his way to the door. However, Michael soon blocked his path with his hand raised up.

"Hold it" he said. "You're not going anywhere. Huey left me in charge so that means I have to keep you out of trouble. You're staying in tonight"

Riley stared silently at Michael and then he burst out laughing. "Yo man. I don't do nothing Huey says. What makes you think I'll do it for you?"

"I…am not Huey" Michael said darkly. "Now Riley, I'm giving exactly one warning. Get back up on the bed and stay there for the remainder of this evening".

Michael stared at Riley in a serious manner. However Riley just scoffed back at him. He then pushed past Michael and continued on to the door.

"The day I start listening to a white dude, is the day they bring back slavery to this country and with our boy Obama that aint gonna-"

Riley didn't get to finish his sentence because the only sound that now came out of his mouth was a muffled cry, blocked out by a dank cloth that had been thrust onto his face from behind. Michael locked his arm around Riley's neck and held the cloth on his mouth as he began to struggle. Riley flailed his arms round in the air and his feet skidded against the floor. The chloroform slowly began to take effect. Riley's eyes drooped down and his whole body went lax.

"Shhh, shhh, shhh" Michael whispered softly, stroking Riley's head. "There's a good boy"

Dropping the unconscious Riley to the floor, Michael dragged him across the bed room and tossed him inside the closet. Closing the door, Michael brushed his hands together for a job well done.

"That's one down" he said.

Before he did anything else, Michael's arm reached into his back pocket and pulled out his lighter. He unconsciously flicked it open and lit the flame. Michael then looked down at the lighter in his hand as if he had only just realised it was there. He stared at it intent as his arm began to shake violently, as if he had lost control of it. Scrunched in concentration, Michael quickly grabbed a hold of his wrist to steady himself and slowly pushed his arm back down.

"No….fires…" he grunted strenuously, as he put the lighter away again.

Michael entered the living and found that Granddad was still sitting in his arm chair, watching TV. Granddad gave a quick glance at Michael when he realised he was there.

"Where's Riley?" Granddad asked.

"Put him down for a nap" Michael replied, moving up to Granddad.

"Where's Huey?"

"He's out on a date with Jazmine"

"He out on a date with Jazmine?" Granddad said with disbelief. "I'll be damned. I didn't think that boy had it in him. Bout time too. Lord knows everybody was waiting for the two of them to hook up even though it looked pretty obvious that it wasn't gonna happen, but that don't discourage everybody from hoping for it"

"Okay look" Michael began. "Huey wants me to keep things under control while he's gone. So I got to ask, your not gonna do anything tonight right? No crazy woman coming over? No poorly thought out get rich quick schemes? No where we all a lesson about what's wrong with today's African American culture?"

"Boy, I'm old and I'm tired and I pretty much let life pass me by" Granddad muttered bitterly. "All I want now is to sit here and watch TV until I'm dead"

"Fair enough" Michael said. He then walked over to take a seat on the couch and opened up his laptop.

For a while Michael and Granddad sat in silence, Granddad watching the TV and Michael was a video on his computer.

"Dammit. Nothing good on". Granddad had been flicking through the channels, but couldn't find anything of interest. He threw the remote down and pressed down in his seat with a grumpy expression.

Granddad glanced over to Michael. When Michael noticed him, Granddad looked off in another direction.

"What are you watching? Granddad asked, trying to sound only vaguely interested.

"Dragon Ball Z" Michael replied.

"Dragon what? What in the hell is that?" Granddad asked, having never of anything like it before. "A show about the alphabet and genitals?"

"No" Michael said in disgust. "It's anime"

"Emay?" Granddad said, confused. "What the hell is an emay?"

"No it's called an anime"

"Ananime?"

"No! Anime!" Michael said angrily.

"What's anime?" Granddad asked.

"It's an animation series that's made it japan" Michael replied.

"So it's a cartoon?" Granddad said, unimpressed.

"No it's an anime. Its' different"

"Looks like a cartoon to me". Granddad got out of his seat and moved over to see inside Michael's computer.

"No its not!" Granddad said stubbornly. "Anime has mature themes and dialogue as well more intricate and continuous storylines, and has complex and multi-layered characters"

"Wow. That sounds pretty good" Granddad, now looking impressed. "Fine then let me watch some".

"No". Michael pulled the laptop closer so that Granddad couldn't look inside.

"Why the hell not?" Granddad demanded

"You wouldn't like it and you wouldn't be interested in it" Michael said.

"Now that's not fair" Granddad said. "You and me never do things together. You always off with Huey and Riley on some adventure. And I'm the one who gets left here and doing nothing but watch TV by myself. I get lonely. Why can't we spend some bonding time together?"

Michael eyed Granddad for a second and seemed unsure of how to react. He mauled it over for a second and then sighed

"You're not going to do that thing where you find something new, you get really it, go overboard with it and then just forget all about it?" he asked slowly, looking at Granddad intently.

"Of course not. It's just a cartoon. How into it can I get?"

Later

"OOOHHHHH! Holy shit, this is amazing!" Granddad cheered in excitement, his hands on his hand. "Come on! Kamehameha! Kamehameha! Oh this show is epic and empowering! It makes me want to stand up and scream my anus out, exerting all my power to be the best and accomplish the impossible! OOH! OOOHH!"

After another few minutes, Granddad stopped screaming long enough to catch his breath. Michael stared at him with a

"Oh Lord. That show dragon ABC is awesome! So that's what anime is like? There any other good ones?"

"A couple" Michael said.

"Oh show me the best ones there is!" Granddad said. "We gonna have ourselves a marathon!"

Naruto

"So the protagonist is gay?" Granddad said staring at the screen,

"He's not gay" Michael said.

"He kissed that little emo kid" Granddad said. "If he doesn't want people to say he's gay he shoulda said no homo. I mean, I like this protagonist and all. He got a real tragic backstory and never gives up on himself and makes me root for him to achieve his dreams. That's all great, but he shoulda said pause when he kissed that emo kid. Sends a real mixed message"

One Piece

"Oh god. This is so beautiful" Granddad sobbed. "I have never seen a more amazing story of friendship and adventure in all my life. Oh, I wish had me some nakumatta, people who will be there for me no matter what. Instead all I got is Ruckus….and Tom. They suck!"

Bleach

"This one's boring and not even worth remembering like the last two"

Attack on Titan

"The fuck is wrong this show? All the main characters just get eaten by them giant naked ass zombies. It's like game of thrones and walking dead cept there's no sex scenes and they got no token black characters that die later than expected."

Fairy Tail

"This here just a rip off of that other one. But damn! All the women have such big boobs in these shows. Those kids in Japan are luuuucky"

"This is nothing" Michael said. "You should see all the hentai and yuri"

"What does that mean?" Granddad asked.

"Sex" Michael said simply. "Lots of sex"

"Seriously?" Granddad said excitedly. "Well what the hell you waiting for boy, get to work!"

B Gata K Hei

"Oh Lord! This is the greatest thing I have ever seen! They got tittes everywhere! Cant believe they let kids in Japan watch this, but I sure ain't complaining!"

Queen's blade

"So let me get this straight. The queen's blade goes to whoever has the biggest tittes?"

School days

"What the hell kind of love story is this? They all underage school children and they having sex with each other. That one kid even had a foursome with those three girls.(That's not even a joke). Man I have never seen anything so disturbing and unrealistic in all m-OH SHIT SHE CHOPPED THAT KID'S HEAD OFF!

Avatar: The Last Airbender

"Is this an anime?" Granddad asked.

"No it's western show, but it's influenced by anime" Michael said.

"So this is a cartoon?"

"Kinda yeah"

"And M. Night Shyamalan never watched a single episode of this?"

"No" Michael said grimly. "No he did not".

Later again

"Well now I'm bored with anime" Granddad said grumpily. "Didn't even last me one evening with it. That must be some record"

"Maybe it's for the best" Michael said, closing his laptop.

"You know, this is actually pretty nice" Granddad said as he leaned back on the couch. "Us just sitting here, talking, watching stuff together. No crazy shit happening that sometimes has to do with racial issues, but in a very offensive way. It's real nice"

"The night is young" Michael said, feeling relaxed as well. "I'm sure you'll find some way to fuck up. Maybe you'll go out on a date with a Kardashian?"

"That's sounds lame" Granddad said with contempt. "Why would I ever do something like that? That doesn't sound like something people would find entertaining"

"Wouldn't be the worst thing you've ever done"

"I guess. But that anime is still pretty good stuff. Them Japanese make great stories"

"Yeah, I've always liked anime" Michael said. "But I never really watched it with anyone before"

"Not even Huey or Riley?" Granddad said.

Michael shook his head "No. I mean sometimes when I did watch it, I wondered if my step-"Michael suddenly paused as if had just said something rude.

"Your step what?" Granddad said. "You mean your stepdad, Josh?"

Michael didn't reply but instead just looked down at the floor, avoiding Granddad's eye.

"You wanted to watch it with him?" Granddad continued on. "And what, he didn't? Figures. That guy always was a bit insensitive back when I knew him. I remember when he and I use to hang out together when we were younger. Course back then he always liked to call himself Joshua. Make him sound more attractive to the ladies, but I always just called him Josh. Anyway back in 1963, we-"

"Stop" Michael said abruptly.

"What?" Granddad said.

"Stop" Michael repeated curtly. "I know it's very difficult for you but I'm asking you to shut up"

"Boy I'm just trying to make conversation here!" Granddad said angrily. "Telling me to shut up. I just thought you'd like to talk about Josh when I knew him. Hell you never talk about him and-"

"You thought wrong" Michael said very sharply, looking back at Granddad. "I don't want to hear. I don't care what he was like when you knew him and I don't care what you have to say about him. My stepdad and I are square. There's nothing more to say, so drop it"

"Well excuse me" Granddad said scathingly. "Next time I'll just-"

Granddad suddenly paused when he noticed the stranger look on Michael's face as he stare down at the floor again. Though he still seemed composed, Granddad couldn't help but feel that he looked a little hurt. This surprised Granddad, because he always thought Michael was a pretty tough kid. Holding his back his tongue, Granddad decided not to press the issue further.

"Okay then" Granddad said in a surprisingly gently voice. "If you don't want to talk about him, that's fine. But if you ever do want to talk, I'm always up for it. I promise".

In a surprise gesture, Granddad put his hand on Michael's shoulder and gave him kind smile that told Michael that he really did mean what he said.

They sat in silence for another minute, with Michael beginning to feel a little embarrassed.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" he said out of nowhere.

"A movie?" Granddad repeated.

"Yeah. It's an anime movie. Called Spirited Away. Do you want to watch it…with me I mean?"

"Does…it have woman with big tittes?" Granddad asked, with some eagerness.

"No, not really. It's supposed to be really good. I just thought that…maybe, if you wanted to…or you know…if you're not interested…" Michael trailed sheepishly.

"You know what, why not?" Granddad said brightening up when he noticed Michael's doubtful expression. "Fire up the laptop. I'm gonna go put some popcorn". Granddad got off the couch and walked into the kitchen.

When he was gone, Michael smiled to himself, feeling happy that he had the chance to spend some time with Granddad. At least spending some time with him doing something relatively normal. Just as he was about to open the movie, Michael heard the doorbell ring.

"Michael, go see who that is!"

The doorbell rang a second time. Shrugging it off as no big deal, Michael got out of his seat and approached the door.

"Yes?" Michael said casually as he opened the door. The second he did, a foot landed square on Michael's chest knocking the wind out of him and sending flying back into the hall.

"Who's that at the door?" Granddad called casually from the kitchen. "Michael, if they're selling insurance don't let them in"

Michael gasped for breath as he clutched his chest. He lifted his head up to see two assailants, dressed in black leather outfits and wearing ski masks, rush into the hallway. The one that had kicked Michael was defiantly a kid or at least a midget, since he looked to be the same size as him or Huey, while the other one was clearly an adult, armed with a baseball bat.

The man with the bat ran at Michael slammed the bat down at him, Michael rolled away at the last second. He swung at Michael again, but he ducked down. Michael then jumped up onto the nearby wall and pushed himself off again, kicking the man in the head in the process. After he hit the ground, Michael turned back to the masked kid.

As Michael stared at him, the kid pulled out a small black bar from his back. He twisted it out and the bar extended into a longer staff. He twirled it around his body dramatically and then held it out in a fighting pose.

Michael advanced on the intruder and quickly threw a fist at him, but the kid parried the attack with his staff. Michael punched again, followed by a kick, but each attack was block. The kid spun the staff in his hands and hit Michael on his lower left side. He spun the staff around again and hit Michael hard in the right side of his head.

Michael saw stars for a second as he dropped to one knee. Shaking his head, he charged at the kid again, but this time he locked Michael's arm inside of his staff and twisted it around Michael's back, locking him in a hold. Michael struggled to free his arm. Using his other free arm, he elbowed the kid down in his stomach until he released him. Turning around, Michael grabbed the kid's staff with both hands. Michael and the kid pushed up and circled each other, the staff in between them.

The two of them stopped struggling when they heard a loud cocking noise. They looked up to see a third man dressed in leather entered through the front door, armed with a shotgun and aiming it right at them.

Michael and the masked kid pushed away from each to avoid the blast that destroyed the floor between them. The armed man cocked his gun again and fired Michael. The shot blew off against the wall, with Michael barely managing to move away in time. Rolling on the floor, Michael grabbed the bat that the other man had dropped. Michael stood back up and swung the bat hard at the gunman. He blocked it with his elbow and tried to fire again, but Michael quickly knocked the gun out of his hands using the bat.

The masked kid jumped back in and attacked Michael from the side. Now Michael had to fight between the two of them at once.

"What's all this racket about?" Granddad walked into the hallway holding a bowl of popcorn. He stopped when he saw Michael fighting with the two masked intruders.

"What the hell?!" Granddad screamed in shock, throwing the popcorn in the air. "We being burglarised! You ain't stealing my TV or my couch!" Granddad quickly undid his belt and whipped it into the air.

Granddad wrapped his belt around the tall one's wrist and pulled him away from Michael. Granddad and the masked man began to exchange blows, while now Michael duelled with the masked kid, using the bat. However the bat wasn't much use, being too slow compared to the masked kids staff. The kid then knocked the bat out of Michael's hands like a swordsman and whacked him the head once again.

Nose to nose with his opponent, Granddad head butted him in face, knocking him to the floor. However the intruder that Michael had knocked down earlier had gotten back up and came up from behind Granddad. He grabbed him around the throat and put him in a head lock. Before Michael could help, the masked kid struck at him again in the back. He fell hard to floor. The kid then jumped on top of him and pressed his staff down on Michael's throat.

Michael saw that Granddad was now in trouble. He then saw that he was right next to shelf right with an expensive vase that Granddad had bought, sitting on top. Using all his strength, Michael quickly pushed the kid off for a second. Seating upright, he reached out and grabbed the vase on the shelf.

"Granddad, duck!" Michael yelled.

Granddad moved his head to the left, just as Michael threw the vase in his direction. The vase hit Granddad's attacker in the head, breaking into the pieces. The attacker let go of Granddad and grabbed his own head in pain. Once he free of his grip, Granddad lifted his arm and jabbed the masked man in the face with his elbow, knocking him to the ground. Granddad then turned back to Michael

"Dammit boy!" he shouted at Michael. "You know vase was expensive. You should have thrown the cheap one!"

Michael was unable to reply as the masked kid was now back on top of him and choking him to death with his staff Granddad only just seemed to realise this and picked his belt up again. He whipped the belt around the kids arm and pulled him off Michael, who gasped for breath.

Granddad whipped at the kid with his belt, but he gracefully evaded each attack. He then held his staff out the air and twirled it around, causing it to tangle up Granddad's belt. Granddad tried, but was unable to pull his belt free. The kid pulled Granddad lower to the floor and kicked him under the chin. With the belt still wrapped around his stick, the masked kid pulled it out of Granddad's hand as he was knocked back and then threw it off to the side.

Granddad recovered and tried to punch the kid, but he countered the blow and whacked Granddad in the knee with his stick and then again in the head. Michael stood back up and came at the kid from behind. Without turning around, the kid dodged Michael's punch and thrust the end of his stick back into Michael's stomach.

He then jumped into the air and hit Granddad with a backhand of the stick as he spun. He then brought his stick down at Michael as he landed. Michael blocked with his upper arm and threw another punch at the masked kid, but he pushed the strike upwards with one end of his stick and jabbed Michael in face with the other end.

The kid then turned and ran underneath Granddad's legs, pulling down his pants from behind with the tip of his staff. He kicked Granddad in his backside, causing to stumble and trip over his pants, falling right on top of Michael. The kid then rested his staff lazily on his shoulder as Granddad and Michael tried to untangle each other.

Riley groaned drunkenly, clutching his head as he wobbled out of the closet. He shook his head roughly, beginning to sober up again.

"That motherfucker!" Riley muttered angrily. "As soon as I see him again I'll-"

Riley got cut off, when another rag of chloroform was shoved onto his face from behind. Riley gasped and then collapsed to the floor once again. Standing over him was another mysterious assailant dressed in black leather, looking just like the masked kid downstairs, the only difference being that this one was about a head taller.

The masked kid lifted Riley up and tossed him back into the closet. He paused briefly to hear the scuffling going on downstairs. The kid moved over to Huey's bed. He bent underneath it and pulled out a laptop. Moving quickly he opened it out on the floor and then stuck a small electronic device in the side of the laptop which over wrote the password. He watched patiently as the device now downloaded the files he was after. Once done, he put the laptop back under the bed and went to the open window. Before he left, he pulled out a phone and sent a message. He then climbed out the window and disappeared into the darkness, leaving no one the wiser to his presence.

Granddad and Michael weren't making much progress with the masked kid. They had taken the fight into the living room. Michael had the baseball bat in hand again and Granddad was spinning his belt in the air. The masked kid suddenly tensed up and for a second he didn't move. He then slowly started to back up closer to the nearby window.

The kid stared silently between Granddad and Michael who advanced on him from either direction. Faster than they expected, the kid then made a break for the window behind him. He jumped straight through the glass and out to the lawn. Michael and Granddad ran up to the broken window and watched him as ran into the darkness.

"I'mma tell the cops you were black!" Granddad yelled, waving his fist after him. Michael glanced back into the hallway and saw that the other two men were getting back up and heading for the door.

The first one had already made it out the door, but Granddad caught the leg of the second man with his belt and brought him down on the floor. He crawled out to the lawn and tried to stand up, but Michael jumped on top of him. He pushed Michael off his chest, but Michael had grabbed a hold of the man's mask and pulled it off, revealing the man's face. He had gruff like features. His hair was dark and greasy, and he had a small goatee.

Once Michael was off, the man pulled out a hand gun and aimed it at him, but before he could fire, Granddad smacked the gun out of his hand with a whip of his belt. Michael quickly grabbed the gun off the grass before the other man could reach it and tossed up to Granddad, who quickly caught it cocked the barrel and now aimed the gun at the unmasked man.

"Ain't so tough now are ya?" Granddad taunted confidently. "Nigga's got the gun this time"

"Who are you and what do you want?!" Michael demanded, shaking the mask at the man. The man stood up, his hands raised and just looked back Michael, completely silent. Michael then turned to Granddad.

"Granddad, shoot him in the foot!" he ordered.

"Say what?" Granddad said in surprise, looking down at Michael.

"Shoot him in the foot! Show him that we're serious!"

"I can't just shoot him in the foot! You think I want to go to prison?"

"He broke into our house and he's still on our property. It's self-defence!"

"Self-defence for a black man is the same as first degree murder. You think black people can get away with self-defence on white people. They probably drag me out to the street and hang me or something like they were gonna do to Samuel L Jackson and he only got away cause he had Matthew McConaugheyas his lawyer, but all we got is Tom and he sucks!"

Michael rolled his whole head in complete exasperation. "Oh just give me the gun then! I'm white, they won't say anything"

"You can't have the gun either" Granddad said in refusal. "Then everybody gonna be saying I'm an irresponsible parental figure for letting you have. I don't want social services up my ass"

"The fact you've not be arrested for half the stuff you've done to us by now is nothing short of a miracle. Now give me the gun!"

Michael reached up and tried to take the gun from Granddad, but he pulled away. Michael started to jump up and down to get the gun.

"Michael no!"

"Gimme it!"

Michael jumped up and managed to grab a hold of the gun. He pulled it down toward himself but Granddad pulled it back. Michael and Granddad now played tug of war for the gun as it went back and forward between then. The unarmed man still had his hands raised and was watching this display with confusion, but didn't make a move as the gun was still pointed at him.

Granddad and Michael continued to struggle with each other until the gun, now pointing downwards, went off. The two of them immediately ceased what they were doing and were now frozen in shock. They looked at the grass to see a small hole at where the bullet had entered. Michael and Granddad stared at the hole and exchanged a look with each.

After a few more seconds, a strange rumbling sound began to eminent from the ground. The rumbling sound grew louder until the ground beneath them blew open. A huge fountain of sewage and water burst up from the hole, spraying over Granddad and Michael. They instinctively raised their hands to protect themselves from the down pour. While they were blinded, the unmasked and nameless man made a break for it, running off the lawn and down the street

Wiping some of the grime off his face Michael opened his eyes to see that the man was now long and the lawn was slowly turning into a pool from all the water that continued to come up from the hole. Granddad looked flabbergasted.

"Great, he got away" Michael muttered angrily. "Told you should have shot him in the foot!"

"I had the situation under control!" Granddad rounded angrily on Michael.

"You call that control!?"

"If you hadn't tried to take the gun from me, I'd-!"

Before Granddad or Michael could say anything else, they turned around to the side and saw that Huey was standing on the lawn and staring at them with an angry face.

Michael and Granddad pointed at each other and both shouted what the other one was thinking.

"It was his fault!"

I thought it would be nice to have Michael and Granddad spend some time together since they usually don't. My line of thinking is that since Michael has already gotten pretty close to Huey and Riley, he's going to start getting closer to Granddad now.

Anyway, leave review if you liked it and I'll see you when I can. Peace out
