26. UPDATE: December 18, 2017

Ha. Wow. I last updated this four years ago. Well, that's awkward. Okay, so a little update for you all, a little about what's been going on and the future of this story.

I graduated from university. It's pretty badass, thinking about it. I went through 12 years of school, two years of college and then three years of university and suddenly it's all just... over. I graduated in September but I've been working full time in an office since August and... well, it's not the best but it gets me by, I suppose. I won't bore you with the details of everything that's happened in the four years since I updated this story, but let's just say it's been anything but easy.

Now then. About the story. I have good news, and I have some bad news.

I recently decided to read over this. I was randomly getting new reviews and, as they are linked to my emails, so they were coming through when I was just going about my daily life. And it got me thinking. I never stopped enjoying writing, I just didn't have the time what with the numerous essays and papers I had to write as part of my degree. But that's over now and I spend my free time doing it anyway. So I gave it some thought and I've come to the decision to continue writing this fanfiction.

HOWEVER (and this is the bit I'm most afraid of, because I don't know how it's going to turn out). I'm not happy with how I wrote pretty much any of this before. I like to think my writing has improved greatly since I first started this seven years ago. I was so young and I think it shows in my writing. So I'm going to redo it. The story will pretty much be the same, it'll be the same characters, with a Skank!Kurt and Nerd!Blaine, but I'm not happy having this on there and just adding onto it, because I do want to finish the story. But I'm not comfortable just tacking the rest of the chapters onto the end.

So I will be rewriting this entire thing. I'm not going to lie, I've already started and I've finished writing the first couple of chapters, I just have to edit them and such. You will get to see how this story ends, believe me. I know it's been a long time and for that, I'm truly sorry. But I think I owe it, to both myself and to those who have followed this story, to do it justice. And to do that, I'm going to start again. I will, for the time being, keep this one uploaded. But TATL is getting an upgrade, and I couldn't be more excited.

Thank you all for still sticking by me and being so patient. It's one of the reasons I'm so excited to come back to this story.
