SAKI'S P.O.V.
I blushed as Mori looked up, pulling away from that mind blowing kiss…. Holy crap, wow, that was excellent….. HOLY CRAP THAT WAS MY FIRST KISS! Kazu and 'Kiko are going to be on my ass about this if they find out later.
"Five minutes… it's all I needed to deflower you… is that really too much to ask?" I mumbled quietly to myself… considering the pink blush tinging Takashi's cheeks I didn't mumble it quietly enough.
"Satoshi, what are you doing here?" Takashi asked monotonously, staring curiously at the boy. It's like a shorter more expressive Takashi, holy crap!
"Well, Yasuchika and I were exploring some of the booths when we happened upon a beautiful young lady wrapped in your passionate embrace and of course I couldn't pass up this chance to meet the girl you've been going on about. Saki, right? Nice to meet you! Taka-bro never shuts up about you!" He smiled happily offering me a hand to shake.
"Nice to meet-…" Just as I was about to shake his hand Chika-chan popped out of nowhere and hit the taller boy over the head with a practice shinai. "…You?" I squeaked out, backing away quickly when he started to fall forward. "Such violence, Chika-chan. It seems a bit unnecessary, don't you think?"
"He does it to me all the time, he finally pulled something, and this is me getting back at him." The shorter boy shrugged while I poked Satoshi with my foot.
"What was that for?!" Satoshi exclaimed, spontaneously bursting back to life.
"They were having a moment! You know Takashi doesn't have too many of those with girls!" Chika defended.
"Are you implying that he has them with GUYS?! Are you calling Takashi GAY? In front of his girlfriend?!" Satoshi argued back, causing Takashi to blush red as he looked at me briefly from the corner of his eye. On the outside, I may look emotionless and uncaring, but on the inside, I'm busting a gut. Don't be fooled.
"Of course not! Obviously he's with a gir-"
"Pfft… HA! Haha Haha! Oh my gosh, I thought my family was the only one this dysfunctional! Takashi, they're brilliant!" I gasped out, unable to hold it in any longer as I Leaned on Takashi, using his body to keep me upright.
"See, she likes us, Chika! We obviously didn't mess anything up for them!" Satoshi smiled smugly before coming up to me and hugging me. "It's nice to finally meet you, Saki, you are way prettier than they always describe!"
"Thank you Satoshi! You're not half bad yourself." I joked, as Takashi pulled me back to lean into his side.
"Go away." He sighed out shaking his head as he buried his face in my hair.
"Wait, Dad wanted me to get a picture of the girl you've been talking about for her!" Satoshi exclaimed, pulling a camera phone out of his back pocket.
"No." Mori deadpanned, turning to drag me away from his younger cousins. I planted my heels into the ground stubbornly, making him stop walking.
"Takashi Morinozuka, if your father wants a picture of us together then let Satoshi take one! As long as he sends me a copy, I don't mind." I said stubbornly, fists planted on my hips as I met his gaze head on. He sighed and nodded reluctantly. What's up with the stubbornness all of a sudden? From all the stories I've heard Takashi actually gets along really well with his parents! "Big baby…" I teased, leaning back into him so he could wrap his arms around my front, his chin resting lightly on the top of my head.
"Say cheese!"
"Satoshi, picture. Now." He ordered. Oh… now I get it… he interrupted Takashi's "Wild" side. Poor guy… he was just letting the hormones loose too!
"Aww, you guys look so cute! Look Chika! Don't they look adorable together? Saki looks like a little girl!" Satoshi ranted as Yasuchika dragged him and his phone away, sending a stoic nod over to the two of us.
"Well… That was interesting… Now where were we?" I giggled with a smirk, looking up and Takashi with what I hoped was a coy look.
"Er…" He blushed red, that hungry look returning to his eye, just as my cell phone alarm went off. Well then it's 10:30… I guess it's time to head back home. I wonder if everybody is still there.
"C'mon hot stuff, you have to take me home now." I giggled, kissing his cheek gently. God how many times have I done that tonight? I'm turning into such a girl…. What is Morinozuka doing to me?
I bit my lip as he lifted me back into the SUV, warm hands on my waist… Well, whatever it is, I like it!
Two Days Later
"Something has changed within me
Something is not the same
I'm through with playing by the rules
Of someone else's game
Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my instincts
Close my eyes and leap!
It's time to try
Defying gravity
I think I'll try
Defying gravity
And you can't pull me down!" Saki sang aloud to herself as she walked into a fancy cafe that Kyoya asked her to meet him in. She wondered what he wants to talk about? Maybe it's… No… it couldn't be. He would have had to hack his father's system systems to get that information.
"Saki, glad you could make it." Kyoya greeted in a very… business-like manner when she joined him at the small table.
"Hey, Kyoya! Of course I came, you said it's urgent, I'm a curious person." Saki semi-joked. Honestly, the whole situation was a bit fishy, Kyoya looked worried and we all know that's not normal.
"Yes, well, perhaps you would like to order some tea? A sweet of some sort? On me, of course." He offered, handing over a menu of pastries. Something is most definitely wrong. Kyoya doesn't pay for other people to have things.
"Sure, but I'd rather you just cut to the chase. You have me a bit worried now, being generous and formal, it's odd behavior from you." Saki commented honestly, scrutinizing his face for any cracks in his mask as she leaned back a bit, asking the waitress for some chocolate milk and a cookie.
"Me? Odd behavior? That's funny considering that's what I wished to speak with you about. You see, I've recently had some medical files made available to me, and I made a very intriguing discovery." He said, eyes narrowing as he leaned into the table, analyzing the blue haired girl with his dark eyes.
"You didn't…" she hissed out lowly, eyes widening in realization.
"Apparently one of my families V.I.P. patients is going to be going into surgery in two months for the removal of a newly malignant brain tumor…. I simply wish to know why you didn't feel the need to share this important information with your friends." He said coolly, sneering slightly. She chewed at her cookie slowly and calmly and sipped at her milk as she thought over how to reply.
"Did you honestly invite me here to admonish me over the fact that I decided to keep a very private and important medical procedure to myself?" she asked steadily, trying to restrain her fiery temper.
"No, I came to discuss the fact that you are keeping a very private, important, and RISKY medical procedure, not just from you friends, but from the young man you have recently started romancing. You are LYING to everybody, Saki." He glared angrily, causing her temper to flare and eyes to flash.
"'That is a giant pile of bullshit! This entire situation is Bullshit! And you, you are full of it Kyoya Ootori! You don't just invite your friends out to judge how they want to live their lives! Or the possible remainder of them! Maybe I WANT to lie to them? Maybe I want to keep them, and you, happy so you don't have to bother worrying about what may or may not happen! Maybe I would rather allow myself to stress out over having a neurosurgeon poking around my brain on my own, instead of throwing everybody that I love into the situation also! Maybe I want to be happy for AT LEAST a little longer! I don't want to be looked at as a pariah, Kyoya! I don't want people to see me as just a Sick little girl, if something happens to me, I want to be remembered for how I am now! AND MOST IMPROTANT FRIENDS DON'T GUILT THEIR FRIENDS FOR TRYING TO KEEP THEM HAPPY! NO MATTER THE SITUATION! YOUR ASS IS NOT A HAT, KYOYA, GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF IT!" Saki finished shouting, storming angrily out of the café.
Kyoya sighed heavily and removed his glasses, rubbing tiredly at his eyes as the entirety of the conversation hit him. Heartless as the shadow king may try to be, he couldn't bear the idea of losing this girl who had become such a close and loving friend. The girl had wormed her way into his heart, and the thought of losing her was drawing a more emotional response then he had expected. Maybe confronting her wasn't such a great idea?
Meanwhile, outside the café, Takashi Morinozuka and Mitsukuni Haninozuka had arrived just in time to see Saki sit at the small couples table with the Ootori boy. Of course the way they were sitting so near each other, in each other's spaces, in such an intimate way made Morinozuka's blood boil, and a little piece of him to crack in anger. Logically, there was absolutely no way Saki would be on a date with Kyoya, but here they were, sitting so closely together; staring at each other heatedly, as if they would attempt to jump on each other at any minute. He had to get out of there, and so he did; leaving Hani by himself to watch the angry, LOUD, conversation commence and Saki to storm away, furious and hurt beyond comprehension.
Of course Honey was shocked by this revelation. Saki? She's sick, again? Surgery? How could a girl so strong and loving think that she would need to deal with this on her own? And that's when the girls from Lobelia popped up, snatching her and spinning her into a dark limousine.
"Suzuran! Hinagiku, what are you doing?!" She squealed as they drove away. Honey stared questioningly at the Limo as it drove farther and farther, he would have reported the strange occurrence to Takashi had his cell phone not wrung in that instance.
"Tama-chan? Mhmm… Haru-Chan's house?! ALRIGHT! I'LL GET THE SNACKS!" He giggled before hanging up to go find his cousin. They needed to have a long conversation about what they saw in the café on the way over. Takashi needed to know that Saki wasn't on a date with Kyoya, before he did something rash. Hopefully he would come to his senses before something went wrong.
