Chapter 26: Final 4 Introduction
O-O How did we get 4 reviews?! Err… thank you all for this! Now with only 4 players remaining, only 1 is the Mole. Yes, only 4 are left, crazy how when I decided to focus on this fic, we started off with 7, but now only 4 are left. XD Anyways, as per usual for the last few episodes, this is an intro to the final four and a socialization chapter. XD

Chapter 24 Review: Yeah, the long passed Daisy decided to win it for everyone. XD Sushi are mainly made out of rice, so I guess I'm exaggerating a little bit when I say that Daisy ate about 40-50 plates of sushi, it's… really impressive if someone could eat that much PLATES of sushi. XD Unlike during Saboteur Investigation, I thought it would be more The Mole like to not let the loved ones really participate in the missions, so they are only there to give water, which would actually make their stomachs even fuller. But really, it's a good idea to drink water when you choke on sushi, I think. XD
Chapter 25 Review: Daisy is the heroine of this chapter, strange that whenever someone was being the hero for an episode, they get executed straight away, right? XD *coughWaluigiDixieBirdoBooBoomerangDaisycough* Paratroopa did break the rules when he showed his brother his ticket. But is he actually the only one that broke a rule? When someone out of this final 4 gets eliminated, the final three will finally reveal themselves! XD Oh, and one more thing, I'm thinking of using a small reference to your Mole fic (again), it's only about the players, not the plot, whatsoever. Is that alright?

Chapter 24 Review: Well… I guess it's acceptable to eat rotten fish when you can get 30 grands, right? XD So you enjoyed the first and sixth episode? Is there a reason why, could I ask? Just curious. ^^ Usually, I would love it if my favourite was the Mole or something, and it isn't that bad being the Mole, you get more screen time and a title as the Mole! XD Not that I'm saying that Paratroopa's the Mole or anything, he could be the Mole, though. I thought it would be fun to have Peach as Junior's mother, but as stated by Nintendo, I can only make her his adoptive mother, nothing more than that, I guess. XD
Chapter 25 Review: Teeheehee! This chapter is so sneaky! XD Daisy… I thought she was pretty genuine in the later episodes? Yes, I have to execute every genuine like character, MUA HAHAHAHAHA! XD *Shot* Yeah, it's fun to write about her, and I think the players will miss her. These Mole stories aren't very hard to write about, but you do need some planning though. It's fun to write these stories. ^^ It's always a pleasure to write about this! Haha!

"Yeah, I expected that." Daisy laughed lightly.
Only 4 remain in the game. Who is the Mole?
Finally, only 4 is left in the game, there is only 1 round until the final 3 of the game shall be unmasked. Who out of these 4 players are the Mole?
People suspected Rosalina for her mysterious and polite image towards everyone. She would rather take a hit out of herself rather than taking a hit out of the pot. However, she has betrayed everyone and performed poorly during some of the challenges.
During Baggage Rescue, she has accidentally led Daisy and herself the wrong way and didn't help cutting the bags off from the rails at all, resulting in a loss.
What about Hostage Hunt? She once again led Daisy and herself away from the cliff where they were supposed to go without a doubt of where she was going. Since they never made it there on time, the mission was lost.
Don't forget about Maze Hunt, she returned the trust of the others who thought that she wouldn't take the exemption at all with taking that exemption. She never hesitated after her decision in taking the exemption, and took coins out of the pot.
Could this mysterious women be the traitor of all? Could she be the mole?

Almost no one thought that the naïve Toadiko could make it this far into the game. She is not only a bit timid about the most situations, she also had the worst physical abilities of the group. Whenever the group had a physical challenge, the one that let them down the most was none other than Toadiko.
In the Pizza, Wine & Ice Cream mission, she was in the wine group. Having to travel by bike up the mountain and back down. She couldn't even get on or off the bike without help, and let's not talk about how badly she did the pedalling of the challenge.
Bank Hack was a mission that required physical abilities to run away from the cops. She never got away from the cops the moment they spotted her and was caught under 10 minutes into the mission, already eliminating a hope for the hackers to get more money into the pot.
She was asked to go to DK Jungle during Family Watch-Out despite many clues that Monty placed down and Daisy telling everyone that there must be a challenge, she didn't even think that there was a challenge and exited the area without searching through the place. Even though that she still have 4 hours to search around the place.
She is a naïve girl and don't have the best physical abilities in the group. However, could this all be a mask of hers?

Occupation: Chef
Ready for anything, Paratroopa is the source of excitement to the group. He's always willing to do anything and always enthusiastic about every challenge they encounter. Despite that, he has had some fishy acts of sabotage and was clueless during some challenges.
Back in episode 2, in the mission Charity Raise, he and Dixie decided to have lunch rather than begging for more donations to charity. In the end, it turned out that they are only 5 coins away from the goal and who knows what would happened if they actually didn't decide to slack off.
While in Embarrassing Fashion, he didn't wear the baby costume he and Toadiko were offered with. That act didn't double the amount of money they earned, and they passed on 10000 coins that were offered to them.
During Horse Carriage, he showed his brother his ticket and asked for help against the rules. Even though the team did win the challenge and 25000 coins would be added into the pot, his simple act caused only 20000 coins to be added into the pot instead.
This paratroopa is the cheerful one of the group, but is this all an act to cover up his true identity as the enemy?

Actually, Junior, one of the smarter players weren't so innocent himself during challenges either. He is the youngest out of all of the players and many viewed his as dumb at the start, but he showed his intelligence. There had to be a reason that he survived this far, either he's a good Mole tracker, or that he is the Mole.
One of his first acts of sabotage was during Party Robbery. His false decision with Boo has led Boomerang into claiming an exemption, also losing 20000 coins for the pot. Is it that Boomerang was too smart, or was it that Junior who led them into a false decision?
He was offered an exemption during Dice Dare, he will also win the team 20000 coins by doing 4 tasks that were torturous in some ways. Yet he refused to add 20000 coins, also refusing the exemption at the same time. Which many players didn't let go.
His fishy acts during Cell Escape never passed by through anyone. First a map was discovered behind the place where he was standing, then he missed when he claimed to have studied archery and finally, he panicked when the cops drew close, which caused everyone to run in different directions and led the mission to a fail.
Although young, he is one of the finalists of the game, is he actually the Mole?

Occupation: Prince/Lawyer
Rosalina stepped out into the deck as she took a deep breath of the fresh air outside. She then went to Monty, who had the table set up for a breakfast outside.
Rosalina: This is the first time ever that someone was executed when their name was entered last. I thought that I would actually be the one going home. But sadly, Daisy, my dear friend fell victim to the Mole. Anyone could be the Mole to me.
Paratroopa was the next to come through the door. He looked upwards at the sky before heading to the table to sit down.
Paratroopa: Now that there are only 4 of us left, we should all have a clear idea of who the Mole is. I hope that my standards are acceptable for the game right now. I never thought that I would make it past episode 3, but now, I feel like that I'm a real winner, even without the money.
Toadiko was the next to come through the door. She sighed as she looked at the ocean, not knowing where she was being taken to before taking a seat at the table.
Toadiko: It's nice to still be here. But every night when I go to sleep, I feel like that the executed players are all watching me, cursing me and all that. It gives me nightmares sometimes. I do feel very guilty about outlasting all of them. However, I do hope that they have some safe travels home.
Junior came out of the door last as he yawned casually, clearly still a bit drowsy. He didn't realize the table until Monty got him as he sheepishly sat down.
Junior: It's so much fun, this game I mean. It could suck if I am executed this episode or that it actually ends. It's a once in lifetime opportunity, and I'm glad that I came this far and did whatever I wished to do. Of course, it would be so much better if I were to win!
Monty smiled as he saw the final 4's faces. "Players, it's good to see all of you again. We have finally made it here, the penultimate episode. However, as per usual, one less of you will be moving on. After this episode's execution, the finalists are revealed."
Toadiko: At this stage of the game… I don't think I could trust anyone. I can't exactly trust Junior as much as I trusted Boo. But for the last quiz, I did base it on someone, and I got through. So that either Daisy scored lower than I did, or that person is the Mole.
"But for now, let's have a good meal together." Monty smiled.
Junior laughed. "It's actually the first time that you are having breakfast with us."
"Yes, it is." Monty smirked, "Now, let's enjoy the food and have some fun."
"One question, how do we have fun in eating?" Paratroopa asked as everyone shared a quick laugh.
Paratroopa: We are all so tensed up about the final pot that we all forgot the fact that this is none other than a game and the point is to just have some fun, that's all. I intend to bring the sense of having fun like we did in the earliest episodes back right now, that's my priority job.
Toadiko buttered her toast. "It feels so lonely, being on this table I mean. Still remember the first breakfast everyone shared together?"
"Oh yes, I remember that." Rosalina recalled, "Though Daisy and Boomerang were not having proper table manners. They were throwing food at each other."
"Come on, it's just splashing milk on each other." Junior corrected casually, as if it sounded like nothing.
Paratroopa rolled his eyes, "I remember Birdo telling them off to stop, but Dixie was so drown into the fight that she almost dropped her butterknife."
"Waluigi was in the lonely corner of shame." Junior brought up. "He never really socialized with any of us."
Rosalina suddenly slammed her hands onto the table, causing milk to fly into Junior's face.
"Oh, come on! This always happens to me!" The young koopa complained as Toadiko got him a towel… again.
"He socialized with me, or attempted to." Rosalina huffed, "I would prefer not to be with him."
Paratroopa rolled his eyes, "I'm alright with Waluigi, actually."
Rosalina: Looking back at it, we all have different opinions on the executed players. I viewed Waluigi as annoying, yet the others thought he's quiet and kind in some ways. There's also Dixie that I find distracting, but I do like her. However, she was just executed too early into the game.
"Then I think Boo and I laughed together about the entire situation." Toadiko told them. "I actually enjoyed the fun days like before."
"It is all very unfortunate that we have to lose a member from our group every few days. I enjoyed being with most of the executed players." Rosalina sighed.
Paratroopa rolled his eyes, "So… what should we do now?"
Toadiko picked her butterknife back up, "Have breakfast." She stated plainly.
Junior: It's actually quite funny to me how we have these little drama sessions. I loved the way that the group was conducted, we are all very different, yet only a chosen few could come this far. And I'm glad that I'm one of them.
"I never thought that I would make it this far." Junior said.
Toadiko nodded in agreement. "Me too."
"Me three." Paratroopa took a bite out of his pancakes.
Rosalina rolled her eyes. "I think it's quite weird that I do expect myself to make it further than some people, but I'm still quite surprised that I'm still here."
"I think if any one of us are executed tomorrow or the day after, we had fun. Be proud of yourself, don't be a sore loser." Junior told them.
Toadiko giggled, "It's quite weird, I feel like that I'm completely ready to go home right now."
"Ooh, should I pull off a Boomerang for you?" Monty shoved in as everyone laughed at his joke.
Toadiko: Honestly, I think the producers are shutting Monty's mouth. Since he seemed to be a very fun person to be with. Really, I still think that I was the lowest scorer the night Boomerang took himself out of the game. So thanks, Boomerang, you are a good person. I also found out I got more confident and brave throughout this journal. I wouldn't trade this journey for anything, ever.
Paratroopa sighed, "Is it just me or is it time for Monty to suggest a mission or something?"
"Yep, it is." Monty smiled, "Can the people that dislike dental appointments raise their hands please?"
"Me!" Junior screamed.
Toadiko rolled her eyes, "Gee, you're quick."
"I'm not afraid of dental appointments, if I've ever had one before." Rosalina giggled.
Paratroopa: Rosalina comes from space, but now she's living with us in the Mushroom Kingdom. While I have no problems with that, god knows what Rosalina knows from outer space. I feel like she's different from the rest of us in a way that it's… hard to explain. Gut feelings maybe?
"I'll do it." Toadiko decided, "I guess it's only natural fear that we have some of these."
"But I…" Paratroopa started, "Oh, screw it."
"Are you two good on archaeology?" Monty questioned.
Paratroopa immediately shook his head.
Rosalina thought for a moment. "I have taken classes on it before, but I don't exactly know…"
"Well, Rosalina, that's good enough. Because the next two missions are called 'Messy Doctor' and 'Archaeology Identify'." Monty told them.
"Oh no." Junior screamed.
Junior: Whenever Monty tells us something about a mission, I wanted to suicide. I mean, just look at that! Messy Doctor? What are they going to do to us?! Cut our arms and legs off or scoop our eyeballs out? I'm not doing that, sir!
"The Mole, is gliding on the right track." Monty finished off his explanation of the missions for now. "I will announce further instructions at midday when we finish lunch."
Junior and Toadiko were inside Toadiko's room.
"Is it just me or are we not docking at somewhere yet?" Junior asked.
Toadiko nodded in agreement. "I concur, it's quite sad that we don't even get to know where we are going."
"Hey, I've got something serious to talk about." Junior told her with his face serious, "I'm not kidding, I came here for a reason."
"What is it?" Toadiko asked, a bit scared.
Junior took a deep breath. "Since we are at this stage of the game, and either one of us could be the Mole with all of our suspicious moments. I think it's time to end this coalition."
"…" Toadiko didn't say a word.
Toadiko: I expected this coalition to end sometime during the course of the game. But if Boo is the one standing opposite of me, I don't know if I'll agree or not. But ending this coalition with Junior, is alright with me. We never really talked to each other a lot anyways. Let's hope I don't turn into a Maysilee!
"Sure." Junior looked a bit surprised at Toadiko's answer. "I don't mind, may the best man win."
"Or woman." Junior added with a laugh.
Rosalina and Paratroopa are around the pool, having a chat also.
"Paratroopa, we have been partners for quite a lot of challenges and outside of challenges. I do have some trust in you, however, I cannot eliminate the fact that you are still a possible suspect." Rosalina told him.
Paratroopa shrugged, "Well, Rosalina, I do trust you as well. I don't think you are the Mole, but you are quite fishy sometimes."
"Yes, sometimes." Rosalina giggled, "How about this, considering that this is the second to last episode, should we be able to fully trust each other?"
"… Yeah, let's do that." Paratroopa greed.
Rosalina smiled, "But first of all… answer me truthfully, are you the Mole?"
"I'm not the Mole. Are you?"
"Maybe, maybe not."
Rosalina: Paratroopa and I were actually joking around. We do get along together quite well. However, I do know that anyone could be the Mole. Sometimes, your best friend is your worst enemy in the game. Although I do have trust in him, I cannot afford to trust him completely in the game.
Paratroopa: Yep, Rosalina and I are good friends. I do think that she's the Mole though, and I don't mind if that's actually true. Ever since Birdo and Dixie's departures, the two of us get along better. I would like it if both of us are in the finals, but I can't be greedy.
The ship docked at a place as all four players stepped down, all in awe of the kingdom they are in.
Monty smiled to them, "Players, welcome to the Beanbean Kingdom, here is our location for episode 7."
