Four months since the last time Cancri walked, or breath, or seen sunlight. Four long months with his eyes closed with shallow, uneven movements of his chest. The soft and uneven beating of his heart couldn't be heard, even in the dead of silence. The darkness that surrounded him only ate away from his cold form. The spider demon laid motionless in the same position with the cold winter air slowly seeping into the small hut.
The chipped cold air sang low for their master, to hear him among them again. To hear the slight intake of breath, to feel his body heat, for him to do anything they didn't know what to do, nor did his companies. They only sat around watching him, waiting for him to wake.
Ronald took the hardest to seeing his best friend and pack mate like this. To watch, wait for him to get better was like watching the last of his family die before his eyes. The cold dread that felled his heart only made the winter air feel like a summer breeze. His muddy reddish brown eyes lost their shine with each passing second, minute, hour…When months started to roll pass, Ronald lost all hope. He became a dusk of himself. Nothing could bring him back to the former bright life that shown brightly in his eyes.
The others did not know what to think. They could sit on the sideline and watched as one of their friends slowly dies with along the wolf demon start to become nothing of his former self. Kagome on the other hand, still kept tending to the spider demon, watched as the spider demon slowly healed. It was a matter of time before the spider were to wake up. She watched as the dark and redden wounds start to close, to lose their redness as the white puss that leaked from the wounds vanished after the first month. Once she was sure that she didn't need to sit and watch him, Kagome would spend most of her time trying to bring Ronald to his former self. Most of the time she could not get him to speak to her; it was sad to watch the wolf become a nothing more than a dusk that only wondered around the camp.
Sesshomaru had walked off and haven't returned. No one knows where he has gone off and no one dear to follow him. On nights of the full moon, they could hear a howl ringing through the night. They couldn't describe with words that felled the howl.
~Line Break~
Darkness surrounded him. He was floating in substances that held no existence. The substance ate away his soul, darken it. He felt the tears fall from his eyes as scenes rushed across his mind eye. The tears fell even faster as he watched those that he calls pack turn nothing but hollow dusks of their former selves.
He heard the soft whispers of his name being called. They danced around his mind, calling him. He wanted to open his eyes, but his body wouldn't move. The whispers only grew and grew in volume, egging him to move. He ordered his body to move. More tears followed when he couldn't. The pain that had slowly started to drift away, showed up with vengeances. The pain curved and danced across his body. It danced deeper and deeper and once it reached his exposed bones, the pain rocketed. The tears were once cleared are now blood red. His lips parted in a silent cry.
His skin parted likes snakes. The snakes like vines were the color of the sky, snaked around his body eating away at the exposed muscles and bone. His cries echoed in the silence. The vines turned an ugly black that seeped into his bone. The black dug deep into his bones, it ached and itched. The bloody tears turned gruesome.

The moon hung loose in the night sky. Stars twinkled in warning, but no one listened.
Kagome looked around herself. She felt eyes on her and they didn't want to move away from her. It made her spine shiver in fright. What could be causing her to shiver? Not in the good way, either. Her eyes fell onto an odd pair of eyes, they glowed like Cancri's, but didn't give off warmth like his did. It seemed like those pair of eyes were looking into her very soul, deeming her from what it saw. She watched as the disappeared for a second before they were glowing brightly just like the stars above her.
Her eyes glazed over.
The glowing pair of eyes closed before they shadow of a body formed from the line of trees. Kagome watched as the tall female figure walk towards her. The figure didn't walk on the ground, but floated towards her. Dark claws reached out to her cheek and it softly laid upon said cheek. She blinked; the glowing pair of eyes followed her motion with one of its own.
Ink black hair floated around her like a hallo, pale skin shun bright just like the full crescent moon. Dark vines danced around the figure eyes. They grew lighter the further the vines were from the glowing onyx eyes that danced with unshed power. Pale blush pink lips parted slighted as the figure grew closer to the teen's body.
Kagome closed her eyes as sweat formed around her brow. Kagome felt the figure's hand moved from her cheek to slide down her neck and lightly squeeze. The air slowly escaped her wind pipes. Claw fingers wrapped tighter as the figure whispered old and odd words. A glowing barrier surrounded them in a brightly lit ball orb that held a script of words swirling around them. Kagome felt the hand tighten even more, the bone of her throat started to crack at the force.
The figure screeched as the blinding pink orb appeared from the middle of the Kagome's chest. The figure dropped the teen to the ground and hiss as she floated a couple of meters away. The pink orb rose slowly from the teen's chest to stand somewhat in the air above the teen. The pink orb surrounded the teen.
Kagome felt the orb of power engulf her body. It started with healing her mind. The figure's soft melody left her mind as her muddy brown eyes cleared. Kagome lifted her hand to her throat as she felt the vines of cracks close up before she took a long breath. Coughing softly, Kagome looked back up into those glowing onyx orbs. The pink orb floated back into its owner's body with a protective flare.
"Who are you?" Kagome asked as she watched the figure slowly back away. The hallo of hair fell around her shoulders, reaching the ground in soft curls. Kagome looked the figure down, watching for the other to attack again.
The figure wore a green dress that snuggled her curves as it pushed her breast up slightly. The around mounds bounced when the female took a soft step backwards, avoiding a body that laid before her feet. The soft dress reached her knees before splitting down the middle, so that Kagome could see the black skirt that hugged her thighs. The long black fish net stockings curved up her legs, resting right before the edge of the skirt. Ankle boots sunk into the ground as she tripped backwards as she skipped out of the way of another body that laid before her feet.
Kagome took a step after her before she (Kagome) was following her through the forest. Kagome ducked under a fallen tree as she watched as the female floated out of reach. Kagome stood in seconds and took after her again.

His golden eyes watched the women dressed in greens float across the small area with a small human teen following close behind. His nostrils flared as he took in the scent of the two. Two very different scents filled his senses. His eyes narrowed as he took in the floating female before he heard the human cry out in pain.
He started after the human with a snarl playing on his lips. The sneer lifted when his sight found the small human to be Kagome, the child that his mate had called one of their own. He lowered himself towards her and he watched as the girl looked up at him.
"Sesshomaru." She whispered his named. Sesshomaru looked back towards the young lady with a sneer lying upon his lips. He watched as the female lowered herself down to the ground and look at him. A soft melody started to play in the night sky. The full breed took one second to listen before he felt drunk on the strongest sake. Kagome covered her ears the best she could with her hands and watched in horror as the demon lord fall under the creature's spell.
"Sesshomaru!" She called out, hoping that her voice could reach him. The beast that fell upon the surface of the demon lord, growled as it fought with itself. Sesshomaru's legs worked on their own, they held him in front of the creature's hands.
Long black claws reached out and held on tightly to the pale throat. She started to squeeze with just the slightest pressure. Kagome cried out as she lifted herself off the ground. She leaned onto her left foot and with much inner strength, Kagome made her ways towards the two. She watched as blue like vines snake around the demon's throat. They snaked around the curve of his neck to move downward towards his shoulders.
The creature's eyes looked pass the demon she held to stare into Kagome's pair of eyes. Kagome narrowed her eyes as she slowly worked her way towards them. With each step it felt like they were further away. She called out the demon lord's name as she reached out.
The vines had snaked over his shoulders and sprawled down his back. They grew darker as they sank their fangs into the pale skin. They broke the skin, exposing the strong and taunt muscles. They sank into the exposed muscles and ate away the bone that laid below.
The creature brought the demon lord closer to laid flesh upon flesh and held him there. Her lips close to his, the soft dazed molten gold orbs stared ahead. Two pointy fangs poked out from her bottom lip as she smirked. She laid her lips upon his neck, where his mating mark laid, and lightly planted her lips there. The mark shivered at the odd contact. She opened her jaw wide and then sank her fangs into the demon's flesh. Blood started to roll into her mouth and pass her lips.
Kagome cried out his name.

He smelt the sweet nectar first before his body worked itself into a standing position. With his eyes closed, he made his way towards the nectar that was calling for him.
