Katie turns 2
"I can't believe Katie is going to be two" Logan says as he decorates for the party
"Plus I can't believe today is the Fourth of July too" Erin says as she prepares for the picnic that they were going to have that afternoon
Faith was by daddy playing in the play pen with her brother and sisters
"Hortense we have to be very careful with Faith cause she is still very fragile yet" Logan tells the little boy who had a toy in his hands, and he was going to hit Faith with it
Hortense didn't listen he decided to hit Faith with it
"Hortense James Henderson for that you are going into time-out" Logan says as he takes Hortense to his chair that was in the corner of the house
All of the little kids had a little play pen that was in a corner of the house, and that was time-out for them, and the babies time-out was on the first floor
"Faith are you okay baby girl?" Erin asks as she picks up the little baby that was crying her head off
Faith was still crying, so the older Henderson girls came even the birthday girl tried to comfort her baby sister
"Mom is Faith okay?" Chloe asks as she comes down in her patriotic dress
"Yeah just Hortense just hit her is all with one of his toys. Can you hold your sister while I get an ice pack for her?" Erin asks her daughter
Chloe takes Faith over to the couch and sits with her
"You have quite a bump there baby sister" Chloe tells her sister
"Hortense hit her hard, and daddy is taking care of him" Erin says as she brings an ice pack for Chloe to put on Faith's bump
"Katie what are you doing princess?" Logan asks as he comes back from putting Hortense in time-out
"Playing doctor daddy" she says happily
"Happy birthday Katie do you know how old you are?" he asks as he picks her up
Katie puts up two fingers
"Yes sweetie you're two today, and do you know what that means?" he asks her
She shakes her head no
"That means you get to use the potty like a big girl" he tells her
Katie was happy about that a lot
"Do you need to go potty?" he asks her
She nods
"Okay I'll take you to your bathroom, and see if you need to go big girl" he says carrying her upstairs to her bathroom
"Come on Faith we'll go up to my room, so I can give you the grand tour of everyone's room' Chloe says carrying her baby sister upstairs with all the little girls following behind her
"I swear the little girls sure do look up to Chloe" Erin says when she goes back into the kitchen where Kathryn, Alexa and Malese was
"Yeah they think she is their leader which she is cause she is setting a good example for them" Kathryn says when her bunch came into the kitchen
"Mommy, when are we going to eat?" Parsley asks as she comes in with Basil, Saffron and Kyndal following behind her
"Not till later sweetie cause daddy, Uncle Logan is going to grill the hamburgers and the hot dogs" Kathryn tells her
"I'm hungry now mommy" Parsley says when she got ready to throw a tantrum
"Here's a bag of the fun cookies for you to munch on while mommy, Auntie Erin and Malese continue to make everything for the picnic
Parsley took the cookies to her table to munch on
"Where's Sage at?" Malese asks as she sits down to take a load off
"The poor thing got sick during the night, so she is up in her room sleeping" Kathryn says as she goes to the fridge to get what she was going to make next
"Hi Karianna what would you like?" Malese asks as she signs for her
Karianna sign drink
"Sure go see Erin and she will give you something" Malese tells her
Karianna goes and sees Erin for her drink
(That night)
All of the kids were outside while Logan and Erin got ready for Katie's second birthday party
"Holy cow I think this is worst then her first birthday" Kendall says as he helps Logan decorate
"This is because she is order and we let her pick out what she wanted which is everything that she can play with outside, and she has some stuff to play with inside when it rains" Logan says as he hangs the happy birthday Katie banner that he had made last year
"Katie is such a sweetheart" Malese says when Erin was putting the candles on the cake
"Yeah I know" Erin says as she carries the cake to the Henderson table that way it was ready when Katie was going to blow out the candles
Logan and Erin helped Katie open her presents since her hands were small still
"Okay everyone gather around the big table Katie going to blow out her candles" Erin tells everyone
"Come on Faith you get to watch sissy blow out her candles" Logan says as he picks her up and puts her someplace that she can see all the action that was happening around her
Katie was in the middle of mommy and daddy while everyone sang happy birthday to her, and took her picture before she blew out her candles
"Yaaaaaaayyyyyyy" everyone says when Katie blew out her candles
"Chloe can you gather the plates for mommy please?" Erin asks her daughter
"Yes mommy" Chloe says as she gathers all of the Sophie the first plates
Chloe distributed the cupcakes to the babies since they can't feed themselves yet
"Erin that was a good idea to get purple cupcakes for the babies" Kathryn says as she puts the bibs on the Schmidt bunch
"Actually it was Chloe's idea to get cupcakes for the babies since all of can't feed them at once" Erin tells Kathryn as she gets the ice cream out
Logan cut the cake and distributed it to everyone
"Hey James have you and Malese came up with names for the baby?" Kendall asks his friend
"Actually since Chloe during the nursery the name will be on the wall" James says
"How is the nursery coming Chloe?" Kendall asks her
"Good" Chloe says happily
