(Goodbye)

The teams had returned to the Great Fox, celebrating on the bridge while looking out at the reformed Sauria.

"We did it, Fox!" Peppy said.

"Dinosaur Planet is saved!" Slippy cut in, sharing a high five with Fox.

"Andross is defeated once again." Peppy continued.

"You all did a great job." Fox said with a smile.

Any further talk was interrupted by General Pepper appearing on the holo-com. "General Pepper here. Good work, Star Fox team and Crystal Gems. I received a message from the King and Queen Earthwalkers thank you for saving their world. Oh and Tricky says hi."

"Tell him I said hi back." Connie quickly said.

"I was however very surprised to hear that Andross was still alive." Pepper continued.

"Not as much as we were." Slippy replied.

"It seems that Andross discovered the ancient power of the Krazoa. And by trapping Krystal who had the ability to channel this power he was able to use this energy to revive himself. But he found a way to become even more powerful when he drained Steven of his Gem powers." Fox surmised.

"Yeah, I remember feeling something draining me when I was caught." Steven nodded.

"At least this time we'll see the last of him." Pepper said. "I'm transferring your fee as we speak. Pepper out." With that, Pepper ended the call.

"Woo-hoo-hoo!" Slippy cheered.

"We can finally repair the ship." Peppy said.

"And I really need some oil." ROB 64 said as his left arm started to slip off. "These joints are not what they used to be."

The door to the bridge opened, revealing Falco Lombardi. "And I can't wait to get back with the Star Fox team!" He walked onto the bridge. "Hey guys, you don't mind if I hang with you again, do you?"

Fox crossed his arms, having a thoughtful look on his face before smiling. "Sure Falco. It's great to have you back."

"The Star Fox team is back together." Slippy remarked happily.

"Oh, Fox! I almost forgot I received this message from Krystal." Peppy informed the leader and played the message.

"Hi, Fox. I really appreciate what you did for me. I'm just so sorry we didn't get much of a chance to talk. I'm left with just one more thing to do." The recording of Krystal said just as the sound of a ship docking in the rear hangar was heard and a second later the doors opened.

"And that's to say thank you." Krystal herself said, stepping onto the bridge.

Fox seemed to be blushing now and started stuttering. "Well uh ok. I mean, sure, no problem!"

Slippy and Amethyst were laughing now. "You're not shy, are you, Fox?"

"Yeah man." Amethyst snickered.

Falco elbowed Fox while ROB spoke. "My sensors indicate Fox's temperature is rising. Are you okay, Fox?"

The group shared a laugh while Fox simply smiled. "I'm going to be just fine."

"Well, it's time we head home." Pearl said, holding up the Dimensional stone. "It's been a great time."

"I'm sad we couldn't spend more time." Steven said. "But my dad's probably worried sick about me. Still, thanks for saving me Fox."

"Hey, what are we?" Amethyst elbowed Steven. "Chopped onions."

"All right. It's time to go." Garnet said as Pearl activated the stone.

With one final wave the Crystal Gems were gone, having been sent back to their universe but the adventures the two teams shared would be remembered forever.
