"Here's" Princess Bubblegum grunted, "The medicine!" She plopped it down onto the table making everything around along with her and Finn bounce into the air. "I did some test and came up with the results that Marceline has breathed in quite a bit of radiation as a child. Or course as she got older she became stronger against it. But now that she had 'reset' her body is weaker and the radiation is still inside her despite the clean air we've got now. And yeah."
"Er… PB? Why is that medicine bottle gigantic?" Finn stared at the medicine that was around the size of a large watermelon. "It's not going to be that long until you can figure out how to reverse Marcy back right?"
She looked to the left, avoiding his stare. "Uh… Maybe…? But that's not the only reason why there's so much medicine. There were a lot of ingredients I had to find to make it and all of them put together made that much medicine. Besides, I could probably test it to see if it works for other illness." Princess Bubblegum grabbed a glass container on the side and opened the large medicine holder. She grabbed a spoon, scooping some of the medicine out and filling it into the container. "Here. One teaspoon a day should be fine. But if her disease gets really bad then two is fine too. But no more!"
Finn took the container, "Thanks Princess." He examined it. "I should probably go give it to her right now. So I'll be seeing ya! Thanks again!"
Bubblegum nodded, "No problem." Turning around as Finn left, she resumed her study on her malfunctioned time machine.
Around yet another year later.
"Tag you're it!" Marceline pushed Finn's leg and began running away, giggling.
Finn groaned, "Aw Little Marcy! You know I don't like playing tag!" He searched around for her, having lost her the second she sped off running. Who could blame him? She's like a ninja.
"Cloud Hunt?" Marceline appeared behind him.
Before Finn would have jumped when she would just somehow end up behind him, but having some experience he was already used to it and showed no reaction of fear. "No. No Cloud Hunt either." Finn smiled down at her.
Marceline glared at him and sat down on the grass, crossing her arms. "Not my fault you're a doodie at games." She stuck her tongue out at him. "Doodie!"
Finn laughed as he picked her up. "You're a doodie!"
She giggled as he poked her in the stomach. "No you're a doodie!"
He laughed again. "It's getting pretty late." Finn observed the sun. "Want to go-"
A scream for help cut him off. Snapping his head in that direction, he placed Marceline back down on the ground. "Little Marcy go back inside."
"Can I go?!" Marceline looked up at him with pleading eyes. "Pweeeaasee?"
"What? Of course not!" Finn grabbed his sword already sheath behind him.
"But I can fight!" She patted her muscles. When Finn and Marceline were usually bored, they would go outside where Finn would teach her how to fight. It usually ended rather adorably watching Marceline whack the air with a stick.
"Little Marcy I'm not going to take a two-year old with me to fight."
"But I is almost three! -I think.- And you will take a three-year old with you right?"
"No I wouldn't take a three-year old with me either." Finn chuckled. "Go back inside now."
Marceline stomped her foot on the ground. "No."
He sighed. "The one day Jake isn't here to watch you…" Shrugging his shoulders he smiled, "Alright. You can come." Finn crouched down for her to climb onto his back. "Leggo."
"Yay!" Marceline jumped onto his shoulders and off they went.
"What are those?" Marceline pointed down.
Finn hummed as he inspected the mob of villains that were invading a tiny village. "They look like… weird ducks." He examined. "Really creepy weird ducks that can apparently shoot water from their eyes." Finn looked up at Marceline. "You ready?"
"Yeah!"
"Charge!" He began running, lifting Marceline off his shoulders and letting her run alongside him.
"Charge!" She repeated him, doing the same exact pose he did as he lifted his sword in the air. Not that she was even carrying anything.
They both jumped into the middle of a swarm of mutated ducks and immediately began warding them off. All of the ducks grew angry, forgetting about the village as they diverted their attention to the two and began squawking like mad.
"Hiyah!" Marceline booted one in the face sending it flying.
Finn didn't see the need to use his sword from the point on and put it away so he could fistfight instead. "Stay away-" He uppercutted one. "-from this village!" He kicked another one. He saw their eyes turn red and they began squawking even louder. At once, they turned towards him, blasting him with a flood of water from their eyes. Other than his clothes becoming completely soaked, Finn was unharmed. "Hey! I already took a bath!" He kicked another one.
"Bad ducks! Go away!" Marceline grinned, punching about three more. She threw one of the evil mutated ducks towards a small mob of them, causing them all to fly backwards. "Finn look! A crown!" Marceline noticed one duck with a crown on its head.
"It's the weird duck king! Quick get him!"
"Okay!" Marceline ran over to the king duck. He squawked at the sight of her and began waddling away. Marceline giggled, chasing after him, her sharp teeth growing out on command. All Finn heard once Marceline caught up to the king duck was a cry from the duck. Turning to see what she was doing, he found her mounted atop the duck as it began running around frantically. She was holding on by her teeth.
Seeing their king running around helplessly with a little girl, the other ducks began backing away in retreat not knowing what to do. Around a minute of watching, they decided to scatter away.
"Okay…!" Finn tried plucking Marceline off of the duck king. "No need to get so violet Little Marcy." He managed to free the king from her teeth without tearing anything off except for a couple of feathers. "You grew up basically biting anything… why is that?"
"Teeth!" She pointed to her sharp pearly white teeth.
He took time to process that. "Ohhhh! OHH! That makes sense now!" Finn looked at the village they had just saved. "Well that was pretty fun."
"Yeah! Let's do it again!"
He laughed, "Maybe next time. But right now, I need some new clothes." Observing his clothes drenched in mutated duck water, he cringed. "Let's go home."
"Kay!"
"Lil' Mar! You want some pancakes?!"
"Yeah!" Marceline ran into the kitchen where Finn was cooking and began hopping up and down to see what he was doing with the stove.
"Alright. What do you want to eat for real though?"
Marceline shrugged.
Finn tilted back, looking inside the living room to see BMO rested upon the coffee table, charging. "Well BMO can't cook for us. Want some spaghetti?" He went over to the cooler and took out a bag of frozen spaghetti. She nodded, watching as he put it into the microwave and then went back to the stove to make some of his infamous pancakes.
"Hey I think I'm getting better at this!" Finn exclaimed, seeing as the pancake began to turn a golden brown. But it only ended up bursting into flames right after her said it. "Aww man… About two years of practice and I still can't get it right!"
"It's kay." Marceline walked over to the eating table, struggling at first to get up the chair due to her small height, but managed to lift herself up in the end. "Cake! Cake! Cake!" She chanted as she watched him from afar.
Finn flipped the pancakes up, catching them all effortlessly on a plate. "Here ya go." He slid the plate along the table towards her. Next he took the bag of spaghetti out, dividing the bag evenly onto two separate plates and sliding one to her too while keeping his own plate. "And here ya go again!"
Marceline grinned, her pancakes on their plate already gone. Finn knew she didn't eat it, even though she could now that she had teeth, but instead hid it away who knows where to use as fuel for attack. Even after all this time, Finn still couldn't figure out where they went or how she even got more than he actually made for her. But he decided not to let it bother him and chose to ignore it. He watched as she grabbed a fork and began attempting to eat the spaghetti as neatly as she could.
"I'm back!" Somebody opened the front door from below and entered the tree. Finn and Marceline turned their directions to the opening leading to the front door and watched as Jake stretched his way in. Suddenly he stretched to the side, dodging a falling pancake from above without even paying much mind to it or having to see that he was about to be hit. "Oo! Spaghetti?!"
Marceline groaned, annoyed that the dog had practically became immune to her pancake attacks without even having to try anymore.
"Sorry bro. There's no more left." Finn replied to him.
Jake pouted, "Aww…" He stared at Marceline's plate still looking like a pile of unharmed spaghetti and gave a hungry grin. In a flash he was buried with pancakes.
"No. This is mine." Marceline stuck her tongue out at him.
Jake laughed as he dug his way out of the pile. "I know. I was joking. I'll go eat… whatever else we have."
"Pancakes?" Finn asked.
Jake cringed seeing all the burnt pancakes on the floor. "No. Sorry dude but you still suck at cooking."
Finn shrugged, knowing that he was spot on with the truth so there was no point in getting annoyed by it. He knew it well himself that he sucked at cooking. "So what are you going to eat?"
Jake cleaned the pan of burnt pancakes and put it back on the stove. "I'm making my own food." He stretched to grab all the ingredients lying around the kitchen. "Don't worry I'll make some for tomorrow too just in case we all get hungry." Turning the stove on, he got to work.
"Ready for bed Little Marcy?" Finn yawned and stretched.
Marceline squeezed her head through the neck of her sleeping shirt. "Yep!" She ran over to the bed and crawled up.
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight!"
Laughter filled the air.
"Dang did you see that duck? I was all 'bam!' and it flew like super far away."
"Marceline I was there. I know."
"Well whatever! That was pretty awesome of me. And I beat that king duck's feathery butt too. You can thank me later." Marceline faked a bow and grinned.
Finn laughed, "No. I can thank baby you. Not you."
"We're the same person. So technically you'll be thanking me."
They both lay peacefully in silence on the grass, watching as clouds passed by in the sky.
"Hey." Marceline turned and propped herself up on her elbow. "When do you think I'm going to be turned back to normal?"
He sighed. "Whenever Bubblegum finishes. Hopefully sometime soon."
"Hopefully. Being a baby is fun and all, but also being trapped in some dream mind world isn't so great. It's kind of a bummer."
"Don't worry. When you do turn back to normal the first thing we'll do is hang out and go on explorations and find a whole bunch of random treasure!"
She laughed. "Sounds like a plan."
Finn grinned. "A great one."
So this chapter, was to go back and be all fun and games again. And random. And stuff. And this story is coming to an end!

Alright. Gotta leave this poll up for the sequel if I write one. It will also help determine how the last chapter of this story will play out.
The choices aren't too revealing so here ya go.
A: Marceline gets turned back to normal.
B: Well she doesn't get turned back to normal.
Either would probably be a different story from the other. Choose wisely. Reminder: The sequel will involve Bubblegum and Flame Princess as children. (And what happens to Marcy is up to you guys with the choices above.)
