Thank You Chapter 23 Reviewers!

...

Loves2Spooge – I know! No one likes interruptions but there will be retribution! Just you wait!

YYonder – LOL that is a first that I am hearing someone has to mentally prepare themselves for my stories. Thank you so much for this. I laughed reading this comment! xoxo

Lady of Eden – Thank you so much doll! Writing feels so good to me.

Lilura Maeva – Right! I didn't want to right that…its been done, played out, and just…yuck! Women are so capable of multitasking. I kinda pictured the scene when typing it like she's going to work like I'm going to get this bacon and you tidy up around here. LoL

Danielle596 – So I am giving three chapters today. It was actually one but I broke it up because it was too long and it needed it for 'story flow.' I gave a chapter every couple of hours and I said I would respond the reviews on this chapter which is the last chapter I'm submitting today.

As to your review on the story…I'm so glad you are keeping track of those details! That's actually a big part in this story. *starts dancing in my seat.* I love plot twists and cliffies! xoxoxo

Blackcrescendo – Yes, very soon there is going to be a big culture exchange that I'm so happy to write on right now. I think you will really enjoy the next couple of chapters.

GreenEggsN'Ham – True, you have to be careful about what you see without fully going over all the details. And I couldn't agree with you more. You know you feel pretty bomb when your man gives you his jacket to wear. I imagine the mokomoko would bring about the same results. Im very glad you are enjoying my story love. Xoxoxoxo

Rodidor – Nope he hasn't been confronted in the series with anything that comes from Africa. So at the beginning of this story I sort of had to build this world knowledge that is collected by Lords of other Kingdoms and make it seem like it's normal and necessary. And I laughed when I wrote it. Like I would be too…standing confused.

All your questions should be answered by now. Next chapter…I guess I could give you time to breathe. And don't worry about it love. I hope your move was safe and you have rested well. I do understand how that is.

kagomeLove2 – I'm so glad you enjoyed everything! I love stories with twists and turns so I make it mandatory to put into my own writing. So do expect a few more turns in this story. We are not done by a long shot. Xoxoxo

calhounariel97 – I can't begin to describe how much I love your reviews and positivity! You are awesome love!

Chapter 26: Bounty and Rewards

Ororo opened her eyes casually watching gloriously bright golden suns stare into her own high above her in darkness. The warmth of a fire nearby heated her left cheek and crackled its greeting to her. Thunder rumbled in the distance and she exhaled to cool down her heated body. Brilliant white skin that contrasted to hers stretched before her gaze pulling over muscle and bone like no other she knew. A frog making its way nearby was heard outside of wherever she was at the moment. The longer she stared into his sculpted face, the more she found herself not caring. The demon sat with his right leg stretched out; her head resting near his black clothed thigh. His left leg was bent with his left arm casually leaned over his knee. Her body laid vertical on something incredibly soft. Mindlessly she stroked the fur around her with her nails longingly knowing it was his mokomoko. A playful smile danced on her lips feeling the ripples under her the pads of her fingers. The eyes that stared down at her never budged but the muscle in his clawed fingers shifted. Her vision cleared and she smirked catching the subtle movements that had taken her months to catch and understand.

Her mind centered to focus on the reality that was before her. Silver silk thread tickled her face and neck as it brushed against her. She licked her lips and a smile grew wide. Ororo lifted herself while maintaining eye contact slowly moving into his leg bringing the fur with her. She felt his knee lower to allow her bottom to rest comfortably on his lap. His arms opened naturally to rest around her waist pulling her body closer to him. She turned her nose into the warmth of his chest inhaling deeply allowing all that was the demon she adored to fill her lungs. A sound that could rival even the most happiest of felines rumbled inside of him; sending vibrations that bounced between them both. She reached upwards to touch his cheek taking extra care to stroke the magenta stripes declaring the nature of his being.

Sesshomaru leaned into her touch never letting her out of his sight. She felt warm to his cool hands and her eyes were calming down from stormy hurricanes the calm blue seas. His fur snugged tightly around her of its own accord rebuffing him from coming into contact with more of her soft supple skin. Jealousy of his own pelt came to forefront as he thought of how lucky his mokomoko was. For two months it enjoyed being wrapped around her flesh from morning to sundown without separation other than to bathe. He pulled her higher so her lips came to his ears where she sighed a heavy breath that sent shivers that sank through his pores to the marrow of his bones. Being away from her for the short period of time didn't sit well with him. Then to feel the stress of his mokomoko reacting to her dangerous circumstances really pulled at the reigns of his control.

Wrapped in his arms in such a way after being away from him was…comforting. Never would Ororo have thought of associating such a word with the lethal demon but it was true. She felt safer around him than she ever felt being at home in Egypt sitting among her own family. "I said sixty days." Her voice broke the silence surrounding them. Her lips danced by his ears fighting to kiss him so desperately but failing as her lips brushed the skin there.

"Sixty days in which you would return." He rumbled turning his head and bending to nip her lips. "I agreed to nothing." She hummed in comical response and pulled away with questions and concerns dancing in her eyes as she held on rubbing his marks.

"May I see…what happened? And I will show you my time away." She asked gently looking into chasms of gold mine. The muscles holding her stiffened and she begged with her eyes for him to allow her the honor. She held her breath waiting for his approval not wanting to take the decision away from him. Before things became like the way they were, she would have just looked and took without apology. As a queen she was raised that everything was hers and nothing should be denied from her mind. But, she knew better now that this was not the right approach. She held her breath wanting him to feel compelled to give her the opportunity because he trusted her not to dig too deep and to do as she agreed. His eyes never left hers as his thoughts debated amongst themselves.

"Do as you wish."

Ororo grinned feeling so much joy in her heart to hear his approval. She wondered if this is what his version of honor felt like. Honor had always involved statues, temples, shrines, alters, etc in her culture. It was only until coming here that she was educated on another side of the word. Maybe one day she would master this concept like he did as he bestowed the honor onto her. She closed her eyes feeling overwhelmed and kissed his markings on his face tenderly. His hand came up and lined her jaw with his claws before gliding down to her neck where he could see puncture wounds. Ororo pressed her forehead to his cheeks and ran her fingers in his silver hair resting them at the base of his neck. She closed her eyes and like before she focused. Her other hand came up and touched his forehead with her finger opening the channel between them and allowing him in while marveling at the door that had been opened to her.

Sesshomaru hadn't even flown a minute before the entire sky as far as the eye could see became thunderous and stormy. It swirled with a temper to match. The wind howled pushing violently against the earth and taking everything not weighed down with it. The trees swayed and some bent to break into halves. Lightening flashed all around traveling along the edges of the storm outward in various directions until it was all consuming. Animals and birds ran looking for cover as rain fell to pelt the earth. The hairs on his body stood on end and he transformed into his dog form feeling the earth almost communicate to the skies. He touched the ground in pause knowing this was of Ororo's doing. He could feel her all around him. Her scent was one with the air flowing over his coat and dancing along the base of his ears telling him everything would be fine. A vibration pattern moved beneath his paws in the wet soil and around him. It was strange to feel literally the earth vibrate as if speaking and searching for something. He could feel everything around him.

The skies swirled dark and grey rumbling with discontentment. Somehow all life had connected for a moment. A loud boom struck miles away from his position in a dance of hot flashing white light. He turned his body to change his course. His instincts like all the other wildlife around him picked up on Ororo's and the earth's combined attack and understanding flowed through him. Immediately, he flew without stopping to see what received such wrath. Rain came down harder wetting his fur and falling into his face. He followed the highly concentrated mark of energy swirling angrily and rumbling like an earthquake in the heavens. His nose smelt the body of burnt flesh and lightening the closer he came to the epicenter. The skies roared their triumph above him. He ran faster and his eyes bled red feeling earth's victorious rumble.

Human cries and screams echoed loudly in his ears with each step he took closer to where the lightening struck. The stench was so strong that the rain couldn't wash it away. He landed daringly in the middle of the human village where everyone ran and cowered in their homes. A few monks dare come out with tears in their eyes and throw spiritual attacks at him but they were weak. He roared his fury and swiped at them knocking them all out of the way and into various structures. His nose sniffed the air and he could see smoke rise from the roof of a hut. In one quick jump he landed standing over the hut looking down into the gaping charred hole right in the middle that had caught fire. The rain was doing minor success at keeping the intensity of the fire down.

He wrapped his power around him and orbed his way inside the building. He landed in the center of the hut where the smell of cooked meat, feces, and burning wood was most potent. A small fire had lit inside the hut around the edges of the hut that was eating up the walls. He walked closer where a mutilated burnt body lay frozen on the ground. The skin had burned revealing charred muscle, bone, and cartilage. Pieces of blue robes fell around him and big spiritual beads were stuck to his melted skin on his chest. His mouth was open obviously screaming his pain as is was struck down. He looked to see his staff laying on top of him and a bag held in his dead grip. Ororo's power lingers threateningly around him insinuating that she wasn't done with this person. The earth still vibrated as well in dislike of the man that lay here.

Sesshomaru walked closer staring down at the bald man with a lethal gaze not liking how death had found him so quickly. He grabbed Tenseiga by the hilt, staring coldly with a narrowed gaze at the corpse. Smoke rose higher as the fire consumed more and more of the hut. Debris began falling all around him. The small imp bodies coming to take his soul could be seen laughing greedily at their newest find. He sliced through them quickly watching their ugly faces gasp in shock and despair before vanishing. The monk's eyes opened and his body quaked. Death still rolled over him unlike the many times he had used his weapon. Somehow the afterlife laid a strong claim to his body and would not give it up. Or maybe this was Ororo's doing. Was she so powerful that she could deny a spirit life? Could she challenge the power of his father's sword and still cause the dying to fall to her? Sesshomaru called forth his demonic energy and swirled it around the monk and himself. Quickly, he shot off with speed towards Ororo's location in search to find her as quickly as possible. He did not stop through the hours it took to get there which would have been days had he not flown at break neck speed.

His brother's reiki slammed into him with a powerful force pressing against his own demonic aura. Sesshomaru growled unleashing the wrath of his own to slam and force Inuyasha's off of his person. He landed at the edge of the village belonging to his brother and flared his aura. Landing gracefully on the wet grass he dumped the body that now groaned in pain and agony. Sesshomaru took his staff and his bag from him should he try a trick even on his death bed. Rain fell lightly staining his clothes and falling down the strands of his hair onto the dirt pathway. A wet Miroku and Sango came running with confusion and fear with their weapons drawn. Sango's chest was rising heavily as she pointed towards the village before gaping at the body below. Miroku looked at the body and covered his nose from the smell and gasping to see it move. Sesshomaru looked at the burnt priest knowing he wasn't long for this world due to the massive amount of injuries he sustained. He only had minutes if best. "Why?"

The corpse groaned shaking on the ground. His bulging white eyes looked up with pure hatred at Sesshomaru. "F..fffor ssssakkke of humannnity." He inhaled heavily causing the remaining bones of his ribcage to crack. His eyes rolled upwards into his skull but his lips moved. "Bbuuttt sttoooll-." He wheezed giving his last breath again. His remaining words dying as he did.

Sesshomaru glared and picked up his items again. He had a more pressing matter to attend to. He stepped away giving them his back to look at. "Burn his body and do with it as you wish." Sesshomaru commanded before disappearing in a flash of light headed towards the village. Inuyasha had run to isolate himself in the forest. Sesshomaru could feel his energy coming out in waves slowly venting frustration and gaining power. His howl echoed around him and he was able to understand his beast's response and actions. In seconds he was at the door sliding it open with red eyes. Ororo's head was lying on Kagome's lap with her ghosted eyes open. Her aura was pulsing around her and her lips moved. Sesshomaru stepped inside to the right far away from Kagome as to not touch her. Kagome looked at him with tears in her eyes. "I-I want to help b-but…"

"Go to my brother, Kagome. Now." He cut her off seriously wrapping his aura around Ororo and tossing the items to the far side of the hut.

Kagome didn't need to be told twice. She muttered her thanks to Ororo and placed head down comfortably on his pelt before running out of the sliding doors. The bamboo shoji doors slammed behind her leaving him alone with the queen. Immediately, he picked her up into his arms and moved closer to the fire so she could get warm. He wrapped his pelt securely around her watching carefully as her aura died and her eyes closed. Sesshomaru's aura cocooned her now mimicking that of his pelt around her body protectively looking her over for injuries but just felt fatigue. Her fingers held onto his pelt and within minutes her body relaxed. The clouds outside rumbled but no longer warred with shouts of lightening and pelting rain.

Ororo opened her eyes in contentment feeling clawed hands rub her back soothingly. Images and thoughts accompanied by residue of his demonic aura that raked her deliciously and caused her knees to quake. Feeling his power underneath her touch aroused her beyond compare. How the old advisors of court would tremble to see the Inu King that rivaled all the kings of Egypt. She enjoyed being so close to this dangerous hot fire knowing he could end her but that he chose without her manipulation, seduction, or teasing methods to pay homage to her body and indulge in her offerings. Ororo went through his time away and saw everything to this point. He did not send for anyone to come after her when she was in need. He came himself. Never had she been so touched. It was very rare for a King of Egypt to leave his throne except for battle. She was sure, she was officially the first Queen who had another King come to her aid himself and even brought the body of the enemy to lay at her feet. This great King sought her out, defended her, and gave her what she was looking for. Sesshomaru sought her out for reasons she was now dying to know. He was truly everything she could have wanted in a ruler and she was woman enough to know when to snatch opportunity when given. She didn't know how this would work but she was not weak or ignorant. Surely, this demon had plenty of women waiting to sink their claws into him. She wouldn't allow it.

Liquid fire ran through her with abandon feeling his aura so unapologetically rest heavy on her body laying claim to it. She looked up and opened her mouth to ask a question but never got the chance to do so. Sesshomaru's lips planted tightly over hers and her mind went blank. She groaned and wrapped her hands around his neck pulling him passionately into her. Her scent of honey and rain was overwhelmed from the scent of her arousal. His pelt fell from her shoulders revealing her smooth colored skin that he found intoxicating. His hands roamed her sides and her back in a pattern wishing to consume her all at once. Ororo took in a deep breath kissing him one final time with everything she felt before pulling away. Her eyes were hazed while she fought to have decorum over her body.

Sesshomaru remembered her actions when she left and he nipped her on her ear. Ororo bit her lip and looked to him in question as a growing smile appeared on her face. "You are truly incredible." She muttered with warmth in her eyes. She looked to his mouth and rubbed her index finger along his thin lips in thought. An earth shattering roar unleashed and she moved to sit up to see where it had come from only to have Sesshomaru's hand hold her back down. Her concerned expression turned to him.

"But that sounds-"

Sesshomaru smirked sending chills down her spine at the fang that glinted among the light of the fire. He pulled her up to him so she straddled his lap firmly as he would not allow her to escape just yet until HE was finished. His claws came up while he looked into her eyes. His hands rested on the swell of her hips as he marveled at the various colors dancing on her skin. "If you go to him now and interrupt them, Inuyasha will kill you." He seriously explained while rubbing his nose in the crook of her neck. "This Sesshomaru wouldn't contest this either as interruptions of coupling are grounds for death."

Ororo nodded looking into his golden eyes with clarity and resolve. She smiled remembering that day they were interrupted. She lifted herself hovering over him wanting Sesshomaru to be focused on her words. She was deadly serious and she wanted him to get her message loud and clear. She concentrated pulling her power towards her and focusing on the royal blood that coursed through her veins. The Eye of Horus appeared on her right hand shining brightly in gold and on her chest shined the infinite Ankh.

"I Ororo, Pharaoh of Egypt, Queen of the Nile and Overseer to the Valley of Kings declare formally my invitation for courtship with the ultimate desire of mating you Sesshomaru, The Great Inu King of the Western Lands of Japan, Son of The Great Powerful Lord Inutashio, Alpha of the White Inu Clan of the Minami Valley and Descendent of the God Anubis." She announced her eyes glowing white and her power stretching before him. "Let it be known on this day to the people of Egypt. As I have said, so let it be written." She closed her eyes and her power faded. She smirked seeing for once his out of character response as his eyes were slightly wide from her declaration. She leaned grabbed his hands and placed them on her shoulders. "Don't get too ahead of yourself. I'm only announcing as a Queen that I would be open to invitations." She responded kissing him underneath his chin affectionately like how she read in the books in his study. "You still can deny me although I would call it into question." She snickered arrogant in her own powers of persuasion and seduction. She had never been turned down and she certainly knew she wouldn't now. "Besides, if you are up to the challenge, I still expect to be courted and vice versa upon acceptance of my invitation. To be honest I'm not sure how this is going to work but it will because I say so." She kissed underneath his chin sensually while keeping his hands onto her shoulders where the straps of her gown rested. "But I am a generous Queen. Allow me to give you a glimpse of what you could have with the ultimate Empress of this world." She spoke taking his hands and moving them so they took the straps down her shoulders leaving her upper half bare to his gaze.
