Chapter 26: Trap

As the group passed the gate and walked into the mansion garden, Kohta looked around and raised an eyebrow. The mansion was very tall and wide, it looked like it had about ten to twelve rooms inside. "It's weird that there's no guards nearby, you would think because of how rich he is he would at least have a few guards on standby" Kohta stated.

Miyonji looked at him and nodded "You have a point there should be guards here, something's not right…you don't think he…" Miyonji started until Garasu ran forward.

He kicked the door open and looked around "SHIDO!" He exclaimed. There was no reply or better yet there was no sound. "Just as I thought he's not here" Rika stated as she scanned the room. It didn't take long until Garasu finally lost his top and Alice could see that he was starting to get pissed even with his mask on.

"It's because you fools continue to slack off!" He exclaimed which shut everyone up.

"Instead of making babies and getting engaged we could have gotten here much faster. I admit that the child needed to rest and that's not a problem but you all took advantage of that and decided to slack off and make families." He stated. Nobody said a word knowing that in a way he was kind of right. They did slack off and mend to each other then the situation at hand.

"You might be right."

Everyone turned to look at Miyonji who had a smirk on his face. "It was our fault Garasu I'll admit that but we're here now, he might be gone but I doubt he went far. He'll be back." Miyonji stated. "What makes you think that?" Souichiro asked. Miyonji glanced at him "Come on guys, even you should know that this guy is as rich as they come he's got everything in here. I'm pretty sure he's not willing to just leave it behind and go to some random house." Miyonji stated.

"But Miyonji we-" Rei started until Garasu cut her off. "He has a point. Regardless how crazy it sounds Shido will not give this place up especially with all those dead bodies running around. Plus to top it off all of his money is here and he's not willing to leave it. We'll stay here and wait for him no matter how long it takes." Garasu said before walking away.

Saya looked at Miyonji and raised an eyebrow. "You finally used your brain." She said. Kenta looked at Souichiro and nodded, "The boy had some good points. Shido isn't going to just leave this place when he has nowhere else to go." He explained.

"Meaning he'll have to come back, but the thing I want to know is, why did he leave in the first place and why is there nobody guarding this place?" Takashi asked. Hakami looked at him and crossed his arms. "Maybe he left Okinawa." Hakami said. Rika shook her head at his comment. "He blew up the only planes that came here. He's still here, but it does confuse me on why he's not here. We'll keep a look out just in case because something just doesn't feel right." She stated.

Everyone nodded in agreement deciding that waiting for Shido was the best course of action. "Well now that we have that settled and out of the way, there's one thing I'd like to know…That Garasu guy said something about making babies and getting engaged. What was he talking about?" Tadashi asked.

Kenta looked at Tadashi and nodded "Yeah I did hear him say that, is there something you guys want to tell us?" Kenta asked. "Are one of you girls pregnant?" Yuriko asked. Shizuka looked at the parents and nodded "Yes, I'm the one that's pregnant." She informed as she rubbed her belly with a smile. Hinata walked over to her and placed her hand on Shizuka's stomach.

"Congratulations dear, and who is the lucky man?" She asked. Runo raised his hand, feeling slightly embarrassed. "Congratulations! I wish for the best for you two." She said with a gentle voice. "Thank you Mrs. Sueenji" Shizuka and Runo replied in union.

"So does that means the engaged part was for you two as well?" Hinata asked. Shizuka shook her head. "Oh no, that wasn't to us." She replied. "Then who could it be? Takashi did you propose to my daughter?" Kiriko asked. Rei's face turned red while Takashi shook his head "No, I wasn't us he was talking about." Takashi stated.

At this moment everyone turned completely silent as Hinata and Yuriko's eyes went wide and Souichiro and Kenta looked at one another. The four of them, then turned to their sights on to one Miyonji who was slowly trying to sneak out the front door. "Miyonji Takato Sueenji, just where do you think you're going?" Hinata asked in a stern motherly voice. He slowly turned around with a nervous expression, "Outside for some fresh air, because I need it right about now." He said.

"Wait a minute, there's no way…Saya are you and Miyonji engaged?" Yuriko asked. Saya sighed for a moment before slowly holding up her right hand to show her engagement ring. "Whoa! When did this happen?" Kenta asked. Yuruiko looked at Miyonji with a disappointed look, "When were you planning on telling us?" She asked. Saya looked at him and smirked letting him know that he got himself into it and he was going to find a way out by himself.

"Listen everyone it's not like we're getting married anytime soon. We're still young and I know when things finally settle down, Saya is going to want to do things in her life and won't need a marriage holding her back. It might now happen until we're 25 for all we know but I gave her that to let her know that I'm not going anywhere and that I want to be with her for the rest of my life. But please don't make a big deal out of it." He said.

Hinata laughed and looked at him. "But Miyonji it is a big deal, she is now you're fiancé unless Kenta and the others object to it." She said as she looked behind her. "I have no problem with it." Kenta stated. Souichiro looked at Miyonji and observed him for a moment before sighing "Miyonji you've done something that no man has ever gotten the chance to do. You've impressed day by day and you stuck to you word about keeping my daughter safe. How can I say no to someone who cares so deeply about her? I have no objections to your proposal." Souichiro said which made Miyonji smile.

While everyone was now starting a conversation with one another Alice couldn't help but look to the direction that Garasu went. Alice looked at Zero who started to whine and smiled. "Let's go see him." She stated. As she began to walk away Saya noticed it and stopped her in her tracks. "Where do you think you're going munchkin? It's almost time for bed for you. We should find something for you to eat and head to bed." Saya said.

"Well I wanted to go check on Garasu and make sure he was alright." She stated. This made Miyonji sigh and then smile. "So you've made yourself a friend, huh?" He stated which shocked Saya to death. Was Miyonji really allowing Alice to get close to Garasu, when he's the one that's always fighting with Miyonji to begin with? Alice nodded at Miyonji answering his question Miyonji walked over to her and patted her head. "How about this. You eat first, and then after you eat you can go check on Garasu for ten minutes before heading to bed… deal? He asked. Alice nodded in agreement. "Are you sure about this Miyonji? I mean don't you hate the guy?" Saya asked.

Miyonji looked at her and sighed with a smile on his face. "It's true I don't get along with Garasu at all. But he's kept his side of the deal and kept Alice alive; Alice wants to befriend the person that's keeping her alive. Why would I stop her from doing that? Besides, it's not like I have anything to worry about, Garasu might be a freak of nature but he's no damn pervert." He stated.

At that moment a smirk would appear on Saya's face when she grasped his words. "I see so that's it! You're okay with her being friends with him because he's an adult with no perverted motives. So basically you're saying she can be friends with anyone as long as it's an adult that you know. You're afraid that a boy her age is going to come and sweep her off her feet, aren't you? You don't want your little girl to have a boyfriend is that it Miyonji?" Saya teased.

Miyonji's eyes went wide in shock before calming down. Miyonji smirked and looked away. "Damn straight she isn't having a boyfriend! Not until she's 38, and I dare a boy to step inside my household asking to take her out, I bet you he won't be walking out alive." He said with confidence.

That's when the girls around them had heard enough. "Miyonji that's not fair! You can't keep her from loving someone until she's that old." Rei stated, but Miyonji ignored her as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "She's right, Alice is going to meet a boy one day, whether you like it or not. The day will come when she becomes a teenager and becomes interested in boys." Yuriko stated. "You know I'm not going to allow you to hold her down that long Miyonji." Saya added.

"But, but that's not fair!" he whined as he looked at them. Yuriko, Kiriko, Saya, Rei and Hinata all looked at each other before looking at Miyonji and exclaimed, "You're not fair!" in unison. This caused Miyonji to groan and whine knowing he lost the battle.

Twenty minutes later Alice walked through the silent hallways looking for Garasu. Zero sniffed around looking for Garasu by his scent. It didn't take Zero long before he located the room that Garasu was in.

"Mr Garasu… do you want to talk?" Alice offered as she slipped into the bedroom where she found Garasu taking his pistol apart and giving it a full maintenance. The assassin like always was quiet, but his body language betrayed his loss in temper; the brief outburst earlier was now replaced with a damning calm. It was almost as if Garasu hadn't even heard the young girl's question.

Alice looked at him, partially nervous but equally as sympathetic as she knew he was angry and upset. But why he was so vehemently against the group at this point, she really couldn't understand.

"Since we're not walking around anymore, why don't you tell me more about yourself?" Alice said with a smile; Garasu didn't even respond; too preoccupied with cleaning out the nozzle of his pistol of the dirt and grime that had built up over use.

"After all, you have shown you care, you've saved us several times..." Garasu's brief glance at the young girl who spoke freely around him, stopped her in her tracks. He briefly huffed before resuming his work.

"Do not mistake my actions for compassion; I am living up to the obligation of our arrangement." Garasu stated firmly as he dropped the rag and began putting his pistol back together with fluid expertise, as if he had done this countless times.

"... You're really good at that you know?" Alice offered, genuinely impressed with the speed at which her hired sentinel was working.

"It's what I do." he commented icily while loading a full clip into the now fully operational weapon before putting it to the side and began work, looking over the bow gun.

"Do you think I could be so good at that?" Alice asked as she lay down on the floor and watched.

"Knowing your 'brother' and 'sister' not likely." Garasu replied in the same monotone.

"Because I'm still just a little girl; they've really gone out of their way to show they care."

Alice suggested, and then blinked as something metallic dropped next to her. Picking it up she noticed it was coated with a rubber grip and thumbed over a switch within the screwdriver sized tip only to gasp as a six inch blade shot out of what now came across as a hand guard.

"Giving you something to protect yourself, would have been a more beneficial course." Garasu commented without even looking at the young girl. "It won't do much against the dead but you ever get grabbed, like back at the hotel; sink the blade into their thigh and twist so that the wound won't close."

Alice swallowed; her nervousness subsided briefly as she pressed down on the hidden switch, retracting the blade back into the handle.

"Big sister and big brother won't let me have this, Mr. Garasu..." Alice began as she yawned.

"Right now, I don't give a shit what they think." The assassin replied, he briefly glanced at Alice when she didn't retaliate and beheld her having fallen asleep there on the floor. Picking her up, the assassin placed the young girl on the nearby bed and pulled the covers over.

"You need to toughen up, if you're going to survive." Garasu commented before returning to the desk to resume his work. It was quiet and peaceful the only sound that could be heard was Alice's gentle breathing. A knock was then heard coming from the door. "What is it?" He asked as the door slowly opened.

Miyonji then walked through the door and looked at the sleeping Alice "So she fell asleep huh? After all that talk she was tired the whole time, well I can't blame her. She did have a hectic day." He said as he then looked at Garasu. "She respects you a lot Garasu." He stated.

"Oh does she now?" He asked with an uninterested tone. Even when he knew the tone of his voice Miyonji still pressed on. "Yeah, in a way she thinks of you as her best friend. When everyone is against you she's the only one who stands up for you and proves to everyone that you're a good person." He explained.

Garasu didn't say a word he was trying to push it out of his head even if it was kind of true. Miyonji just smiled and turned around. "I'll leave her here tonight because I don't want to wake her up. Make sure she's safe." He stated as he walked away and closed the door.

Once the door was shut Garasu looked at the sleeping Alice once more 'Friend?' he thought to himself. He soon shook it off and continued his work.

Before he could get back into his peace and quiet mode, a knock could be heard once more but this time he had already guessed who it could be. He looked at Alice and left a pocket knife by the desk near her. Once he did that he walked out of the room to see Vergil and Hakami standing in front of him. "Are you ready?" Hakami asked. Garasu and Vergil both nodded and began to walk down the hall.

Later that night it was quiet everyone was in their rooms preparing to call it a night. Rei looked at Takashi who was taking his jacket off and preparing to get in bed. "Maybe you should take the shirt off too." She teased. Takashi just smirked in reply. Rei then walked over to him and kissed him on the lips passionately having a moment with the one she loved.

As Takashi laid Rei down and continued kissing her he was interrupted by something pressing to his head. Takashi didn't move knowing exactly what it was. "Don't move a muscle." A voice said behind him. Takashi knew that there was a gun to his head and didn't want to make any movement that would cause the person holding the gun to shoot. "You both will do as I say and come with me quietly." The voice said.

A minute later as Rei and Takashi were escorted out of them room Rei looked towards the closet noticing that the door was open, meaning that this person was hiding in the closet.

They walked through the hallway and down to the entrance of the house. When they got there they seen everyone except for Alice, Miyonji, Saya, Hakami, Vergil and Garasu tied up sitting on the floor.

There were men in black suits and sunglasses standing around them holding guns. "Rei! Takashi! Thank goodness you're both alright!" Tadashi said in relief.

Before anyone could say anything else a scream could be heard throughout the halls. "That was Saya's voice!" Kohta informed. Souichiro glared at the men and tried to break free off the ropes that kept him restrained. "If you harm my daughter I'll kill every single one off you" he threatened. The man didn't say a word he just continued to look forward as Souchiro wasn't even there.

Meanwhile in Saya's room, Saya took a step back towards the bed trying to keep her distance from the man trying to take her hostage. "What do you want?" She asked. The man took another step forward. "Just come with me and I won't hurt you." He said as he tried to reach for her. Saya didn't cooperate and slapped the man hard across the face. The man's glasses flew off and revealed his blue eyes. With his patience now gone he slapped Saya across the face and made her fall onto the bed. Saya was now laying on her stomach as the slap made her spin around right before she hit the bed.

The man grabbed her hair and raised her head up a little "You know what? I wasn't even going to harm you but now you've pissed me off you little bitch. How dare you slap me! I think I need to teach you a lesson and I know just how to do it." He said as he slowly reached for her breast. "Let go of me!" She ordered but the man didn't budge, instead he started to massage her breast. "These breasts are big, soft and tender. I can tell that you haven't been popped open yet. Whoever dated you isn't smart because a guy like me would have already shown you the true meaning of pleasu-" The man was interrupted by the feeling of someone grabbing his collar.

"Are you touching MY fiancé?"

The man shifted his eyes to see Miyonji face to face with him. Before he could say anything Miyonji pushed his neck down and slammed his knee into the man's face. The man then stumbled back but Miyonji didn't give him time to recover as he slammed his elbow into his face as well knocking the man unconscious.

Saya was about to speak but Miyonji put his finger to her lips to keep her quiet. "There are more of these guys out there." He said in a whispering tone. Saya nodded slowly and followed him out the room trying not to be spotted. "Where's the munchkin?" She asked. Miyonji kept looking forward. "She fell asleep in Garasu's room so I let her stay with him for the night. I didn't want to wake her up" He said. Saya gave him a concerned look "Yeah right, you were just trying to be alone with me so you can be a pervert." She stated which stopped him dead in his tracks. Miyonji smiled nervously and kept walking. "Let's keep going." He replied.

As Alice was asleep in her room Zero noticed that danger was approaching and started to bark which woke up Alice. Alice sat up and looked at Zero. "Zero what's wrong?" She asked in an innocent voice. The door slowly opened revealing a man in a black suit wielding a gun.

"Come with me and I won't hurt you." He ordered. Alice stood up slowly and looked to her side to see a pocket knife lying on the desk near the bed. She then looked back at the man who was waiting for her. "I don't think I should go with you. My big brother Miyonji and big sister Saya said I should never go anywhere with people I don't know." She said.

The man was starting to lose his temper. "I don't give a fuck what they said. You'll come with me now or I'll force you!" He exclaimed.

Alice shook her head "You're trying to do what that other man tried. Stay away from me!" She said as Zero barked. The man grabbed her left hand and tried to pull her towards him. Zero started to bite the man's leg so he would release Alice. As the man was preparing to shoot Zero, Alice grabbed the already opened pocket knife and slammed it into the man's knee cap. She then twisted the knife and then yanked it out.

The man fell to the floor in pain grasping his knee. "God Damn it!" He exclaimed. Alice closed the knife and then put it in her pocket as she ran out the room.

"Sorry!" She yelled as she closed the door. She and Zero ran down the hall and were heading towards the door at the end. Once she got to it she slowly opened it. But before she could do anything else a large arm wrapped around her and lifted her off the ground.

"So you little shits thought you could just come into my house and do whatever you please huh?"

Alice turned to see a chubby man with short black hair and blue eyes. He wore gold rings on his fingers and a grey suit. The man was no other than Ichirou Shido. Zero lunged at him but before he could make contact a guard stepped in between and kicked Zero to the ground quickly knocking the puppy unconscious. Seeing this brought tears to Alice's eyes. "Please don't hurt him, Zero is my friend!" She cried.

Shido looked at the Zero who was still breathing but wasn't moving. "Let the little shit live just a little bit longer. There's no joy in killing that thing when we have plenty to kill down stairs." He stated as he then walked down the hall and walked down the stairs where Takashi and the others were.

"Alice!" Hinata exclaimed in relief. "So you decided to show your face huh?" Rika growled as she tried to remove the ropes but was getting nowhere. "You guys walked right into my trap like the little shits you are. I was in my underground basement the whole time you were here. Some of my men were in the closets and some were in the attic." He said.

Runo glared at him. "You knew we were coming!" He stated. "You're a smart one. You should be working for me with a brain like that. So hows about it?" Shido stated.

Runo's glare did not change. "You go to hell! Release the girl, that's all I want from you." Runo replied. Shido laughed and looked at him and laughed as he kept a grip on Alice. "If you want to know how I knew you guys were coming, well then it's simple! You're friend Garasu slipped up, he killed one of my men while the other hid and watched and since then my guard followed Garasu until he made it here. When you guys had gotten close enough to this house my guard simply moved passed you and warned me before you actually made it here." He explained.

Everyone didn't say a word, they were trapped and they knew it. Shido smirked "GARASU! You and your little friends are threw. Once we finish them off your next, that's if you're still here that is!" He exclaimed.

While that was going on Miyonji and Saya continued walking through the mansion. As they were about to turn right, a few guards could be heard talking. Miyonji stopped Saya and peeked around the corner. Two guards were standing looking at something on the ground. "Do we really just keep this thing alive? I mean, it's just a freaking dog." One of the guards said.

"I think we should set it on fire and see if it would really become a hot dog. But be honest it was hilarious how that little girl was crying out 'Don't hurt my dog please.' How pathetic."

The other replied.

This pissed Miyonji off and Saya knew it. Before she could say anything Miyonji dashed forward. The men heard his footsteps and turned around, but before they could react Miyonji punched the first guard in his temple knocking him unconscious. He then held the man and used him as a shield so he wouldn't be shot. He then ran forward with the man and pushed him into the other guard; knocking them both to the ground and making them both drop their guns.

Miyonji picked up the gun and slowly made his way to the second guard who was still conscious.

Meanwhile Shido had finally decided to end it and looked to one of his guards. "It's about time we end this, kill them all!" He ordered. But before anything else, white smoke had suddenly appeared around them and engulfing the whole room. "What the hell's going on?" Souichiro asked. "Somebody just threw a smoke bomb." Rika stated. "I can't see a thing." Shizuka added.

"AHHHHH!"

"STOP!"

"LET ME GO PLEASE!"

Shido was hearing his guard's voices. It sounded like they were being taken out one by one. Shido was furious. He didn't know what to do the best thing to do was back up and hope for the best. Bodies were dropping one by one and there was nothing he could do, there was too much smoke for him to see and run away.

Once the smoke cleared Shido eyes widened as he saw Vergil Hakami and Garasu standing across from him. All twenty of his men were either dead or unconscious and the ones that Garasu handled were certainly dead. "Ga-Ga-Garasu! Don't you come near me or-or I'll snap her neck I swear I'll kill her!" He exclaimed practically shitting his pants. "Let me go!" Alice ordered as she tried to wiggle free but it was no use. "Shut up!" Shido replied.

"PLEASE STOP!"

Everyone turned their head to the stairs. The voice was coming from upstairs but no one could see who it was.

"WHERE THE HELL IS SHE! IF YOU DON"T TELL ME RIGHT NOW I"LL KILL YOU!"

"That was Sueenji's voice." Hakami said. Kenta sighed and shook his head. "Uh oh, he's pissed off, that means bad news for you Shido. I'd let the girl go while I still had the chance if I were you. If he see's you holding her like that he's going to…" He started until everyone heard the sound of bone breaking and snapping.

"AHHHHHHHHH!"

"MIYONJI DID YOU HAVE TO BREAK HIS ARM?!"

"That's going to happen to you!" Kenta finished. Alice was done being a hostage and was ready to be released she calmed herself down and used her brain. She remembered that she had put the knife in her pocket. She slowly reached for it and pulled it out making sure that Shido didn't notice. She then pressed the button and opened it so the blade would be out and with immense force she swung behind her and stabbed Shido in the stomach. He let her go and tended to his wound as he winced in pain. He quickly pulled the knife out and started walking away slowly while reaching for a gun in his pocket. Garasu saw this and under his mask for the first time in years cracked a smile 'Good work little one.' He thought to himself.

"Those little shits! I swear that you can't ever rely on vermin to get the job done right!" Ichirou cursed as he loaded a full clip into his pistol.

"How I completely agree with you..." The corrupt politician's eyes widened at the voice that appeared to come from nowhere before suddenly clutching his hand in pain as blood suddenly poured from an arrow now imbedded in it, his gun dropped just out of reach as he let out a cry of agony.

Ichirou quickly made a drastic attempt to grab the fallen munition despite the pain but a second arrow pinned his other hand to the carpet. As Ichirou struggled to free himself a shadow peered over him, the politician looked up and his face then did drain into white as he stared deep into the calm rage and horror inspiring eyes of his former 'employee'

"Why, hello Shido-san." Garasu began with a humble and polite manner as he watched the politician struggle and cringe from his injuries and picked up the fallen pistol. "Hmm, interesting model… too bad it's too ill maintained to be of actual use… oh well." Garasu mused as he noticed Ichirou manage to pull himself from the floor.

"G-Garasu! What a pleasant surprise! I just knew you would have survived this nightmare. As a professional; you have my complete confidence in that you are the best at what you…" Ichirou's flattery ended with a scream as Garasu leaned over and brutally took one of the arrows in his chubby hand, twisted and callously ripped it from him.

"Flattery, truly is an ideal tool...though if you know me as well as you acclaim to; you should know that I care not for it as i do not take kindly for those going back on their word…" Garasu replied in the same polite manner that unless were one a very well versed interviewer would have ignored the malice under layered with every single word.

"The money is irrelevant in a world such as this now, but to lure me into a well devised trap for the world to see, only to further your own career; that, for which we indeed have… a bit of a problem." The assassin watched in what appeared to be sick fascination as Ichirou heaved for breath as he clutched his hands now painted in his own blood. "Does that feeling in your hands trouble you? You should be very used to it, for all those whose blood coated your hands before I added another coat."

"Garasu… we… can… make… a… deal." Ichirou pleaded as he got up to his knees as the Assassin put on a polite smile, though his eyes now unveiled his intentions.

"Oh this is not a debate, my friend. You see, this time, you have nothing that I could want." Garasu continued as he shoved the politician backward before kneeling down very quietly with the same polite smile. "You might be surprised of the many things I have done since my checking out of that cell… originally I would have been simply satisfied with a bullet through your skull or your head severed from your aging obese body… but what a pity yes? Now you are half indebted to those 'little shits' for what I am now about to do to you… Scream if you would like."

Hakami and the others watched as Garasu tortured Shido. Knowing how Miyonji was Hakami walked over to Alice and covered her eyes and ears for Miyonji's sake.

Although he himself was enjoying the scene. Watching Shido get tortured made him want to join in on the torture himself. Saeko saw this and sighed knowing that he was enjoying every minute of it.

Garasu simply circled the writhing form of Ichirou as he twitched in pain beyond belief, his fingers, wrists, arms, legs, ankles completely twisted and snapped, his fingernails and teeth pulled out and his jaw completely dislocated. The politician's ordeal was not even granted respite through unconsciousness as Garasu had emptied an entire bottle of water to rouse him from the ordeal. The assassin mulled over his work before kneeling down to the near maddened and crippled man. "Oh do not blame just me, my friend; you have only brought this down upon yourself… and I must say, that this agony is far from over… now I must decide what I do with you…" Garasu looks out of the window towards the street then back at Ichirou with a malicious grin. "I think I know…"

"Now my obese 'former' benefactor, you have only two choices." Garasu calmly and politely began as he cuffed the crippled politician to a lamppost with a pair of handcuffs then followed by tying a thin wire around his throat and tying the remainder to a fence behind the lamppost. "You can either let yourself sit here and rot...you can try and asphyxiate yourself..." Garasu looked over to the distance as several of them stagger blindly across a nearby sidewalk "Oh my… they look like they could do with a bite or two… don't they? I guess you could always… muffle a scream if you'd like, you always claimed to want to serve as a politician; you could always attract a crowd in which to do so. Said the spider to the fly; just how DO you wish to die?"

Garasu simply pulled an egg timer from his backpack, set it for sixty seven seconds then placed it on the ground just out of Ichriou's reach.

"Now if you were considering one of the latter… I would suggest you do your very best to stop this timer, but with your state; that could be difficult." Garasu stood up, his voice becoming icily as it normally would be. "You have gone against our arrangement simply for further your own gain; consider us even. Our debt is settled."

Miyonji and Saya soon walked into the room that everyone was in and noticed that Shido had been taken down. "SAYA! MIYONJI! OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW!" Souichiro exclaimed as everyone was now untied and running out of the house. Saya looked down to notice the bomb near Shido and grabbed Miyonji to drag him out of the house.

Once they were all out, the house erupted into flames as the bomb exploded and destroyed Shido and everything else inside. Everyone looked at the house once more before walking away.

"Are you alright Alice?" Miyonji asked. Alice hugged him and smiled. "Yes but what about-" She started until she heard a bark. Alice turned to see Zero being held by Saya. "Zero you're alright!" She exclaimed. Miyonji nodded. "Damned bastards were going to kill him if I didn't show up." He informed.

"How come you guys weren't captured like everyone else? I mean I'm glad you weren't captured because we would all be dead now but still how did you do it?" Saeko asked who was standing next to Rin and Sota.

"Garasu, Vergil, Miyonji and I already knew that they were trying to set us up. We just made our move carefully." Hakami explained. "A short and simple explanation, huh?" Takashi asked. Hakami smirked and nodded at his words.

Alice who was now petting Zero who was in her arms smiled until the sound of screeching came from behind her. Alice slowly turned around and saw blood hitting the ground. She turned around to see Garasu shielding her with his arm which was being bitten by a zombie. The zombie bitten through his sleeve and entered his skin. Alice's eyes went wide as she witnessed something she didn't think could ever happen. "Ga-Ga-Garasu?" She said in a tone full of fear.
