Note: Aaaaand, I'm back! Did you miss me, guys? Of course you did. Well, now that summer's almost over, I have some extra time to continue where I left off. Here comes chapter 26 right about now!
Chapter 26
Dinner Disaster
I was in the kitchen, cutting up some carrots with a knife. I was trying not to get myself a cut. Then, I put the carrots into a pot of boiling water. I added some salt in it and I stirred it gently. Bart came into the kitchen with a smirk.
"Lisa, I don't think making dinner is gonna distract Mom from your hair." said Bart, as he went into the refrigerator. He took out some purple grapes and started eating it.
"It's worth a shot." I said.
Suddenly, the phone rang. I quickly grabbed the phone.
"Simpson residence. Oh, hi, Milhouse." I said, as I added some more ingredients into the pot and stirring it. "What am I doing? Well, I'm making homemade vegetable soup for me, Bart, Mom, Dad and Grandpa for dinner. Who?"
I slowly looked at Bart and said with a smirk, "I'm not sure if Bart is available."
"Give it to me!" cried Bart, as he quickly grabbed the phone from me.
"He could be in the bathroom or maybe he could be doing his homework." I said quickly.
Before I knew what was happening, Bart and I were wrestling over the phone.
"Stop! Give it to me!" Bart shouted, as he tried to grab the phone from me. "Go away, you jerk!"
Without noticing, I accidently pushed the speaker button on the phone. Oops!
"Wait, what did you say?" Milhouse said.
"No, not you, Milhouse!" he cried.
"Ow! That's my hair!" I yelled, as Bart accidently pulled my hair.
"You put him on speaker, doofus!" scolded Bart.
"Bart is an idiot! Bart is an idiot!" I teased in a sing song voice.
"Shut up!"
"Uh, should I call back later?" asked Milhouse.
"No! I want you!" exclaimed Bart. "I mean, I want to talk to you right now, so now is a good time!"
"No, Milhouse!" I exclaimed. "Don't listen to him! He's very busy right now so you should call back later!"
"Let go of it, Lisa!" snarled Bart, as he pried my fingers off the phone.
"You let go, Bart!" I screamed, still holding on to the phone.
"Okay." Milhouse replied.
"Get off!" Bart screeched, still trying to get the phone out of my hands.
Suddenly, the smoke alarm went off! Bart and I stopped wrestling over the phone, put it on the table and ran straight to the pot.
"My homemade vegetable soup!" I screamed.
I got a towel and I started blowing the smoke away, but it kept on rising to the ceiling.
"Stop!" cried Bart. He quickly got a broom and he poked the smoke alarm. It stopped, but there was smoke everywhere.
Just as I was about to open the window, the pot went on fire! Bart and I screamed.
"Lisa!" screamed Bart.
I grabbed the broom and I tried to put it out, but then it caught on fire!
"Lisa, move!" Bart hollered.
I screamed loudly, as I saw the broom was on fire!
"No! Stop! You're making it worse!" he screamed.
I tried to put the fire out by waving it up and down and side to side with the broom, but the flames only got bigger!
"Stop! Drop it! Drop it!" screeched Bart, as he got out a fire extinguisher.
"No!" I screamed.
"I said drop it!" he yelled, as he knocked the broom out of my hands. It landed on the kitchen floor and he extinguished the fire until it was put out. It was over and we were both panting.
Suddenly, Bart placed the fire extinguisher in the corner, took out an oven mitt from the drawers and dumped the pot into the sink.
"You will never change, will you? God, for a moment there, I actually thought that you were maturing, but you will always be a little dork!" shouted Bart furiously.
Before I could say something, I heard Maggie crying from the baby monitor.
"I'll go get her." I said. But Bart pushed me back.
"No! Just stop! Stop touching everything!" hollered Bart. "Everything that you touch you mess up, including my friendship."
"Me? Mess up?" I said, getting all agitated. "Why, you're the one who messes everything up! Not me!"
"Here we go." said Bart sarcastically.
"I never mess everything up or get into trouble! You do!" I yelled.
"No, you mess everything up!" Bart hissed. "And get into trouble!"
"Do not!" I shouted.
"Do too!" he shouted back.
"Do not!"
"Liar, liar, plants for hire."
"It's "pants on fire", Bart."
"Whatever. Besides, this is all your fault! If only you would've paid attention to what you were doing, none of this would've happened!" said Bart angrily.
"It's not my fault! If only you hadn't snatched the phone out of my hands, we would never have a fire in this house and we almost did!" I hissed.
"That's because you wouldn't let me talk to Milhouse on the phone and you pretended that I was in the bathroom or doing my homework! How dare you!" barked Bart.
"You know, it also would've been better if you were never my brother!" I screeched very loud, that I nearly lost my voice.
"Take… that… back." Bart growled with his teeth clenched, so darkly that he almost frightened himself.
"How about if you come back, you can forgive me for calling me a dork!" I shouted furiously.
"Oh, really? Why do you want me to?" asked Bart madly.
"Because that's what siblings do! THEY FORGIVE EACH OTHER!" I yelled furiously, as I grabbed him by his shirt collar.
"Oh yeah, you're right, Lis. I forgive you." said Bart, as he began to soften up and he took my hands off of his shirt collar.
"You do? Really?" I said happily, hoping that he would be able to forgive me.
"Of course I do." he said, as he quickly changed to his furious expression. "FOR CAUSING ALL OF THIS TROUBLE YOU'VE MADE!"
"Oh, here we go again!" I snarled sarcastically. "You're doing the opposite of what I say!"
"What do you mean? You do the opposite of what I say!" yelled Bart.
"No, NO! You do the opposite of what I say, like when you pinned me down twice and we almost got punished! This is really all your fault! Your fault, I say!" I screamed angrily. "Why do you have to do the exact opposite of what I SAY?!Huh?!"
"Shove it, Lisa." Bart said, as he turned his back on me.
"What the hell did you just say to me?" I growled with my teeth clenched.
"You heard me. Shove it. Shove it, I say."
I got so pissed off that I couldn't say anything, so I went into the cabinet, took out a glass cup and I threw it at Bart. Hard.
He turned around and it hit him right in the face and it shattered into pieces of broken glass, as he fell to the kitchen floor on his back.
"Ugh!" he grunted.
Bart was pretty sure he was bleeding, but he didn't care. He got half of his body up and he looked at me, furiously. Bart felt like he was going to pin me down and destroy me, but he didn't.
Instead, he got his whole body back up, wiping the pieces of glass off of him and screamed furiously, "YOU WRECK EVERYTHING!"
"It's not my fault that I wreck everything, it's your fault! You made fun of Steve Mobbs at the Mapple Store, you destroyed my super tomato, you destroyed my centerpiece on Thanksgiving and you threw a water balloon at me on the bus when we were on our way home from school!" I barked furiously.
"Lisa, you're in big trouble when Mom, Dad and Grandpa come home later!" snarled Bart angrily.
"Actually, you are in big trouble when Mom, Dad and Grandpa come home! You're gonna be punished for RUINING MY HOMEMADE VEGETABLE SOUP!" I screeched angrily.
"That's it! This is the last straw! I am through with you!"
"Good! I'm through with you too! In fact, you really are a bad brother!"
"And you really are a bad sister! I wish you were born on a different planet!"
"Oh, I've got a better idea! Why don't you just shut up and leave me alone because I'm going to go take of Maggie right now!"
I started to leave the kitchen, but without noticing, Bart grabbed me by the back of my shirt and he pinned me up against the wall. Hard.
"Let me go, Bart!" I barked angrily. "Leave me alone!"
"I've had it with you, Simpson." Bart snarled with his teeth clenched, as he leaned his face very close to my face. "How dare you throw a glass cup at me and make me bleed! Now, I gotta go put some bandages all over my face and you are so grounded when Mom, Dad and Grandpa find this out!"
With my strength, I roughly pushed Bart away, as he fell back down to the floor.
"Oh, so that's how it is, huh? You threw a glass cup at me and you pushed me back down?!" he growled angrily.
"Don't ever do that AGAIN!" I yelled furiously.
Bart got himself up, pulled the back of my hair and he pushed me down to the floor on my stomach. Hard.
Not willing to get up, I saw Bart holding the baby monitor in his hands.
"Uh, Bart, that's my job." I said in a small voice.
"Not anymore! I'm taking cover!" said Bart angrily.
"But Dad says I'm in charge of the baby monitor." I replied.
"I DON'T CARE WHAT HOMER SAYS!" screeched Bart furiously. "I can take over any job I want!"
"No, you can't do this!" I cried, as I got myself up from the floor.
"Just feed the frigging dog and the cat and LEAVE ME ALONE!" Bart screamed angrily, as he punched my arm. "You little dork."
I stared at Bart, as he went up the stairs.
"Little dork? LITTLE DORK?!" I screeched madly. "Oh, okay, have it your way! See if I care! I hope you're happy, Bart! You're a rat and I hate you a lot! I would be better off without you anyway!"
"Good! I'm happy to hear that! I hate you a lot too! I would be better off without you too!" Bart called furiously.
"I hope you go to Hell, one day and you'll be sorry!" I barked.
"Dream on!" hollered Bart.
"Oh, yeah? Well, good riddance, ya loony!" I yelled angrily.
Suddenly, I saw a picture of me, Bart, Maggie, Dad, Mom and Grandpa on the small table. I roughly knocked it over with my hand and it fell on the floor. Then, I stomped into the kitchen and the oven mitt was on the counter. I threw it across the kitchen and it landed on the floor.
"Stupid Bart." I muttered. "He wrecks everything and always gets himself into trouble."
I went into the pantry and I took out the cat food. I kicked the wall with my foot and it hurt. But I didn't care, because I was so pissed off. I didn't even notice that Milhouse was still on speaker on the phone.
"Uh, hello? Okay, I'm gonna hang up now." said Milhouse.
Then, he hung the phone up and it left off with a dial tone.
Note: Well, that's a wrap for chapter 26! Gee, I think this chapter wasn't good at all because Bart and Lisa just got into a big fight and now they're not speaking to each other. Don't you agree? Please review and watch out for chapter 27 coming soon! Hopefully, Bart and Lisa will be able to apologize to each other for getting themselves into a big fight.
THANK YOU & See you later!
