Kagome's bright idea to change outfits with Ayame was not the brightest. They had stopped for the night and Kagome dragged her to find firewood, but they didn't get firewood, they changed outfits. So Kagome's green skirt was much shorter on Ayame, but her top covered more not less.

Kagome felt like she was dressed up in a Halloween outfit and didn't realized how reveling on her it really was in till the men of camp stared at her. Miroku smiled, Ziro rose his eye brows and Sesshomaru didn't look happy. Kouga rushed up to both women "Kagome, now you really look like a wolf demon!"

She blushed "Well, what do you think of Ayame?"

He glance at her "Green is her color, but it looks much better on you!" He grabbed Kagome's hands. Ayame's face became sad.

"Woman" Sesshomaru came up behind Kouga, who turned to look at him,

"Hu?" Kagome looked up,

"Return the clothing and gather wood, now"

While she didn't care for the way he spoke to her, she knew he was helping out. "Right"

She grabbed her friend's hand and dragged her back into the woods to change clothing "Sorry" Kagome said as they switched, "It's ok, at least you tried" Ayame didn't blame her. As Ayame put on her top, her pig tales came undone and her hair came down in waves of red, it was thick and very pretty.

"Oh wow, your hair is so pretty!" Kagome touched it,

"Really, you think?"

"Of course I do, Rin would have a fit to put flowers in it"

Ayame was not sure of who Rin was, but figured it was a child. Kagome picked a wild flower of white and stuck it in her hair "There! you look like a flower child!"

Ayame giggled. Both girls where now in their on clothing and walking back "The night is so pretty here, the stars show bright in this part of the land" Ayame stated,

"To bad we can't see the with all these trees" Kagome told her back,

"Do you think they will worry if we don't come right back?"

"Mm, no, they know how I am"

"Great" Ayame grabbed her hand and raced her out of the woods to an open area, it was red dirt and no grass or tree's and there was a cliff. Ayame walked up and looked out "It's nights like this that I could just change and call out to the moon"

Kagome had never seen Kouga or Ayame as wolf's. Ayame walked a little closer to the edge "Beautiful hu"

"Yeah, it is" Kagome looked up at the stars "We better get back"

"Right" Ayame turned, and that's when it happened, the ground gave and she slipped with a scream. Kagome ran and grabbed her hand "Ayame!"

The girl now hung off the side of the cliff, Kagome on the dirty ground, half her body hanging. Kagome held onto her as Ayame tried to swing her way closer to the side of the mountain. "I can't reach!" She yelled,

"Hold on!" Kagome cried out,

"Kagome" She said with fear, she was not the strongest demon in her group,

Kagome tired to pull back, but everytime she did, rock would fall. Kagome spread out her healing power, hoping to gather some type of help from their friends.

Back at camp they all felt it, Sesshomaru looked up, the girls were not where they were supposed to be "Something is wrong" He stated as he looked up to sky, trying to pin point them, but then they heard a howl, a cry of a wolf, and it sent them all flying in their direction.

Ayame's hands became sweaty "I can't hold on!" She said,

"Don't let go" Kagome begged, once again the wolf girl tried to swing her legs to the side, but they did not reach. Kagome knew she was loosing grip "Where is Sesshomaru and Kouga" She knew if anyone came it would be them.

"Kagome" Ayame whispered, and Kagome knew "No!"

Her hand slipped and the girl fell, her hair flying up, and she cried out with a howl.

"Ayame" Kagome screamed,

Then a bler passed her as she laid dangled on the ground and clif, "Kouga?" She sure hopped it was him. Kagome peered over to see but then felt herself being jerked up "What where you thinking miko!" Sesshomaru snapped as he held her, her back to his chest.

"She fell, I had to do something!"

"You could have gone over with her, am I not my half-brother, I will not save you"

She looked up "But, you just did"

He didn't have time to reply, for Kouga came back up, Ayame in his arms bridal style.

"Oh Kouga" The girl cried, hugging his neck, he held her tight and the memories of their past came flying into his mind. "You ok Ayame, I wont let anything happen to you"

She pulled back and looked at him, her eyes of green sparkled and her long hair made her look just breath-taking and it all came back to him, she needed him, wanted him, loved him, Kagome was right.

Kouga looked at Kagome who stood in front of Sesshomaru "Kagome-

She smiled "Why don't you take her home?"

Kouga looked at her "Do you, wanna, go home with me?"

She blushed but nodded, which made him blush, which made Kagome blush.

Without a word he took off with her in his arms and Kagome's smiled grew wide "I bet we will be seeing tiny little wolf babies soon!"

But Kagome was talking to air, Sesshomaru had left her.
