Life of a Castaway (book 2)

Hi internet! It's a new chapter on the rise.

Sky: I smell a climax.

Me: You smell wrong!

Sky: Are you suggesting that I smell bad? If you are I beg to differ. Have you smelled the Fluffy?

Jerome: Hey!

Me: No, your sense of smell is wrong in thinking a climax is coming. Also you need to apologize to the Fluffy.

Sky: I will not apologize to the Fluffy.

Jerome: Apo-lo-gize. Apo-lo-gize.

Sky *ignoring Fluffy*: Are you sure I'm wrong?

Me: Yes. Enjoy!

Deadlox's Pov

We swam into the squid base. Enderlox had a suit on that sheilded him from the water. "Where should we look?" He asked. "I don't know." I responded. "How about the prison?" Sky sudgested. I didn't know anywhere else to go. "Okay." I said. We slowly swam to the prison barraks.

There wasn't anyone there. "Okay, so we can knock that off the list." Sky said. "Where can we go?" I breathed in, and held it. "I think I know where we need to go." I swam as fast as I could. We came to a large room.

"Ty!" Logan called. "Logan!" He wrapped himself around my leg. "We have to get you out of here!" "I can take him!" Enderlox said. I looked down at Logan. He was glued to my leg. "Logan, you're going to go with my brother okay?" He gripped tightly. Enderlox crouched down. "Hey buddy. It's okay. I won't let anyone hurt you."

Logan laughed. "You look like a spaceman." "Yeah. You should see our friend Jason. He's an actual spaaceman." "Really? Can you show me." "Yeah! C'mon!" They walked out.

There was a laugh. "You fools! Squids attack!"

Sky's Pov

Deadlox and I were back-to-back as the squids surrounded us. "Well Ty, it was nice knowing you." "You too Adam." "Any last words?" Erin asked. I saw a shadow darting across the catwalks, then the gleam of the potion bottle. "Well...a few. LET 'ER RIP SETO!" I made a 2x2 room. There was the sound of glass breaking.

"You guys can come out now." Seto said. I broke down the small room I made. "Thanks Seto." "No problem." "What brings you to the squid base?" Deadlox asked. "I needed more ink. My pens are low." Seto picked up some ink sacks, and pocketed them. There was the sound of feet hitting the floor. Seto pulled out a sword, and it clashed with Erins. Deadlox pulled out his emerald sword, and I pulled out my butter one.

"Don't you find it unfair that you have more fighters than me?" Erin asked. "Don't you find it unfair that you have eight arms?" Seto said. "Touche." Erins sword ran against Setos arm. He cringed, but pressed forward. I went for an opening, but was deflected. "Deadlox." He stopped fighting to look at me. I tilted my head to the left. Deadlox nodded falling back.

He pulled out a block of TNT, and snuck behind Erin. He knocked some flint and steel together setting the TNT off. He jumped away just as it blew up pitching Erin forward. She fell to the ground glaring. "I think we should get out of here." I said. No one argued. We ran to the nearest door. It slammed shut just as we approached it.

"What's the big idea?!" I screamed. Seto took out a lockpick, and tried to will the door to open. "You kill my army, you try to blow me up, and yet you wonder what the big idea is?!" I looked over at Seto. He was still trying to open the door. I'm guessing he got frustrated because he stuffed the lockpick into his pocket, and took out a pickaxe. He hit the door until it broke.

"Thanks." I said, and Seto nodded. We ran out parting ways. "Bye!" Deadlox said, and Seto waved. "See you later!" He called.

Seto's Pov

I opened the door to my lab slash room. "Okay, you need to clean the cut then-" I pulled my sleeve up. Around the cut was blue skin. "New plan. Get a blood sample." I took out a syringe, and took a sample. "Let's see what secrets you hold." I put the sample under a microscope.

I closed one eye, and looked in. "That's strange..." I picked up the ink sack, and campared the two samples. "Similar Dna code...Oh no." I ran over to my brewing stand, and quickly made a potion of healing. I chugged it down, and pulled up my sleeve. The cut was gone, but the blue wasn't.

There was a knock on my door. "Seto?" "Shit." I said quietly. I walked over to the door, and forced myself to open it. "Oh, hey Sky." I said. "Is your arm feeling better?" "Yeah, I made a potion of healing." I half lied.

Sky tilted his head to the side. "Well okay then. Bye, I guess." He said, and I closed the door. I sank to the floor. "There has to be a way to reverse this." I cracked open the book, and started reading.

I found nothing. A whole hour going through my books, and I found nothing. I might as well check my arm. Big mistake. The blue skin had climbed up my whole arm. "Great, just great," I said. "Should I tell someone?" After thinking about it for a few minutes I decided against it. "I'll figure something out."

Sky's Pov

"Hey Ty, have you noticed that Seto's been acting a little weird?" "No, well not that I've seen, and I haven't seen him since we left the squid base. "He was acting kinda weird. I have the feeling he's hiding something." Deadlox was silent for a few moments. "Why did he give you that feeling?" His voice sounded nervous.

"Really?" "Yeah. Do you think you know what's going on?" "He doesn't really hide things often. When he does, you can tell. He's kind of a bad liar." I stood up. "Where are you going?" "To figure out what's wrong with Seto."

Seto's Pov

My hand started shaking, and my breathing shallowed. There was a knock on my door. I tried to stop the shaking to no avail. "Seto?" Not again. I sighed putting my gloves over my blue hand as I was opening the door. "Are you okay?" Sky asked. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." "Can we come in?" " 'We'?" "Yeah Deadlox and I." My heart sank. "Deadlox?" Great another person to lie to. Sky cocked his head to the side. "Yeah what's wrong?" "N-nothing." "Dude we're worried about you!" Deadlox said. My legs felt weak from nervousness.

"I'm fine really." I started closing the door, but Sky stuck his foot out blocking the door from closing. "We can tell you're lying." "Go away." My voice cracked. "No!"

Deadlox, and Sky pushed open the door, and I was thrown to the ground. My sleeve was pushed back. I looked up. Sky and Deadlox's mouths were hanging open. "I can explain." I said, and started to explain. "I think what happened was when Erin sliced me with her sword she must have made the sword so it would transfer squid DNA." Deadlox looked troubled. "What's wrong?" "Wish I still had some of that cure that I gave Enderlox." My ears perked up. "Cure?" "Yeah, the same thing happened to Enderlox."

I stood up, grabbing a pen and piece of paper. "I know what we need to do." I started sketching out a plan. "Okay, so we need to take Erin by surprise. We could go through the vents if we can get a map. " "Ethan has plenty of maps. We could ask him." Sky said. "That's perfect." I said. "Let's go." We walked out.

"Ethan! Do you have a map of the squid base?" Sky asked. "Yeah. Why?" Ethan wrote down. "We need it." Ethan handed us the map. "Thanks." Deadlox said. Ethan grabbed my shoulder. "Don't let them do anything stupid." "I won't." I promised. "Good. Those guys can do some stupid stuff." "Yeah." I said. "I know." I walked out.

I'm on a roll! Yeah! I added Seto! I love his videos. He also has a different comedy style that I LOVE! Also I love his portal references:

Question: Cake or pie?

Seto: Well, cake is a lie so pie!

I have questions!

Kitcat from the sky: Why was Blood angry?

Me: Blood was mad because she was blocked out. She took it out on Kit. That's all I really have to say. That and I have to go to school, so later Legends!
