Author Note – Come on guys! I want some more reviews! I am happy with the ones I've already gotten but I need reviews to let me know if you like it or if you hate the story and how its' going... -Sighs- I'm also still trying to figure out which story I'm going to post. It's between Two choices... I think I'll post a poll. So I hope that you'll vote when I do. Winks... one of the stories will be a Twilight/Riddick crossover. Cool huh? (Arizona House – Hidden In The Trees – 9:00 PM)
Abel snarled softly as he watched the group go about their business. He had kept two others besides himself, out of the fight in case they were also taken out. He was right to do so because of the fact as soon as Johnny rushed the female wolf, shoving her into the fire after Nikki, the hybrid that was in the middle of the battle seemed to freeze anyone in her vicinity. Abel couldn't believe that the hybrid was able to control a vampire yet since he had seen it, he believed it.
"What are we going to do, sir?" The single female whispered so soft that no one, not even a vampire, would be able to hear her unless they were closer.
Abel narrowed his eyes as he watched them go about their lives. "We're heading up North." He smiled rather eerily. "I want to see their faces when they arrive only to see their friends and family slaughtered."
"Sounds like a good plan to me." The other man said in a gruff tone. "When do we leave, Boss?"
"Now." Abel said as he turned and leap from tree limb from tree limb. "The sooner we get there the sooner we can have some fun." He cut his eyes towards the only other two newborns in his command.
The female bit her lip. "Do you think they know that group wasn't all of us?" Her eyes darted everywhere. "I don't want our fun to be ruined."
"No." Abel said with a smirk. "I believe they think they got us all." His eyes darted towards the others. "Don't worry. We'll make it just fine."
"Of course we will." The male smirked cracking his knuckles. "With my ability to hide our scents and Tasha, over there, we'll make sure they pay for hurting our mistress."
Tasha nodded. "Even if we die in the end." She promised as she looked from Abel to Chris. "Our mistress would do this for us."
"Of course she would, Tasha." Abel was lying through his teeth but if that is what kept the two newborns going then he would. "Now pick up the pace. The reason I kept you two back was because you were the fastest out of all of them."
Tasha smiled but Chris didn't seem fazed in the least. They lapped into silence which suited Abel just fine. The sooner they got to their destination, the sooner they could have their fun with the people that meant so much to those who did kill their mistress.
(Forks, Washington – Cullen's Old House – 9:05 PM)
Tanya, Sulpicia and Athenodora were all sitting in the living room listening to the radio as they would in Volterra. Their attention was drawn towards the front when they heard a heart beat heading their way.
"Who could that be?" Tanya whispered to the other two Queens.
Sulpicia sniffed the air. "I believe it's Heidi and Sam's mate," She looked to her sister for help.
"Emily." Athenodora told her with a smirk and shake of her head.
"Oh yes," Sulpicia nodded as she remembered feeling rather foolish. "Emily." She sighed as she looked to her sister. "You know I've been worrying over other things."
Athenodora stiffened and nodded. "I know."
"Sorry to interrupt, my Queens," Heidi called out before they arrived to the door to the living room. "But Emily wishes to speak with the three of you if its alright."
"That's fine with me." Tanya said shrugging her shoulder. "Will you two be ok?" She could see their eyes were darkening.
"Yes." Athenodora said with a curt nod. "As long as Heidi retrieves us some nutrients." She gave Heidi a pointed look as they appeared in the door way.
Heidi nodded quickly. "Of course." She looked at Tanya. "There is still a cooler in Carlisle's office, right?"
"I think so." Tanya thought for a moment. "If not there, try his bedroom."
"I'll be right back." Heidi said with a smile as she urged Emily to move into the room.
"Why don't you sit dear?" Sulpicia gave Emily a soft smile. "We wont bite you." She chuckled along with Tanya and Athenodora.
Emily smiled as she blushed, taking a seat by Tanya. "If you don't mind, I have some questions." She looked between the three females.
"Oh, what's that?" Athenodora asked as Heidi appeared with their cups.
"Here, Emily." Heidi said as she held out a cup with orange juice. "I found this in the cold box. I've smelled it and it smells fine."
"Oh, thank you." Emily was shocked that the vampires would even think of giving her something to drink.
They lapsed into a silence until Tanya cleared her throat. "You had questions?"
"Oh," Emily said straightening in her seat, shifting. "I was wondering just what Bella and Charlie are to you?" She looked to Sulpicia then to Athenodora and finally to Tanya.
"Do you know much about vampires, Emily?" Sulpicia asked her as she watched the girl frown, shaking her head. "Then I will tell you something about us. While we don't know who are the very first vampires, as far as we know, the Romanians are they. Are you following so far?"
"You believe that the Romanians are the oldest vampires." Emily said blinking a few times as she took a sip then sat her glass down.
Sulpicia nodded as she also took a long drink of her 'liquid'. "From them, my mate along with Caius and Marcus learned much about our world and rules." She sat her cup down. "The one thing they learned was that a line of mortals were born to become one of us."
"What do you mean?" Emily's eyes grew wide.
"They were created by 'God' to become a vampire, or immortal." Tanya explained to her.
Emily nodded as she began to understand. "So what does that have to do with Bella and Charlie Swan?"
"Athenodora and I are part of that line that did become vampires." Sulpicia told Emily with a sad smile. "After our turning, our father asked our mates if he could move away. To a new world to start over. Aro agreed because he got his mate and Caius received his."
"Your father just left you?" Emily couldn't believe that any parent would want to leave their children.
"Our father knew we would be taken care of." Athenodora said as she sat her cup on the table. "It was the only reason he left. If we had married mortal men, I wouldn't doubt he would have stayed and protected us." She smiled sadly as she thought of her father.
"I bet your father was just as worried." Tanya said as she looked at Emily. "Does he know of Sam?"
Emily nodded as she stood straighter. "In my tribe, we have protectors that take the form of a panther." She looked around the room. "The last time anyone phased was in my father's generation. My uncle was the one with the panther gene, so instead of my father turning, my uncle turned."
"I bet he was shocked that you were mated to a wolf." Sulpicia chuckled picking up her cup and taking a sip.
"Oh, he was but knew..." Emily trailed off.
"That you would be protected?" Athenodora questioned as she smiled behind her cup.
"I guess I can understand." Emily said picking up her glass as well. "Since you were protected your father didn't need to be there anymore. Your mates would take care of anything you would need."
"That sounds about right." Sulpicia smirked seeing that the woman understood. "Which brings us back to the fact that Charlie and Bella are the last of our line." She looked a little sad at that thought.
Tanya smirked, glancing at Heidi as she sat her cup down. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." She turned her eyes back to the other two Queens. "You do know Bella is pregnant, right?"
"She is!?" Sulpicia and Athenodora gasped at the same time.
Athenodora placed her cup on the table as she looked to her sister. "We'll have little feet running around the castle again."
"How I miss that." Sulpicia sighed as her eyes glazed over. "Diana was so cute when she would run around and the guards were trying to catch her." She shook her head as she looked towards Emily who was yawning. "Why don't you go to sleep? You look a little tired."
"I'm worried." Emily said honestly. "Sue called Sam when Uncle Harry and I passed out but she wouldn't tell either of us what she talked to him about." She shook her head, slouching against the back of the couch. "I guess I'm just being paranoid."
"I'll show you to a room." Athenodora said with a sad smile. "I'm sure no one will mind if you spend the night here." She looked at Heidi.
The guard shook her head. "I just need to inform Demetri on where Emily's at." Her eyes darted towards Emily. "I know he'll pass the message on to Harry and Sue."
Athenodora nodded with a smile as she ushered Emily up the stairs. All three Queens as well as Heidi knew what had happened since Demetri was just in the other room watching over Harry and Emily. He then called Aro to make sure that everyone else was alright. It was then that he was told about what happened to Leah. They felt for Paul as well as Diana. They, too, had felt a warmth seep into their souls yet didn't understand. They finally did only when Aro told them about the fact Leah was shoved into one of the pyre after pushing a vampire in, herself. Demetri had told them that Sam wanted to be the one to tell the family and his imprint about her cousin being taken from this world. Aro had also said that they had retrieve the bones, or what was left, and were also bring them back for the parents.
It was the least they could do for the Clearwaters.
Of course, Seth was still in the dark since he had been gone since he learned another attack was heading towards Bella and the others. Harry feared that he had headed south yet no one could find him. Even Demetri was having a hard time, since the wolves were something that could hide from his senses.
(Jasper's Pov – Bedroom, Second Floor – 10:30 PM)
I layed next to Bella with my hand laying on her stomach. My mind was still having a rather difficult time realizing that this was all real. I sometimes wondered if I would open my eyes one day and suddenly be lying beside Alice once again and Bella would be in a small house far from the house to give her and Edward privacy. Shivering, I pulled Bella closer and nuzzled my nose into her hair. She moaned softly as I felt a sudden spiciness to her scent.
"Jasper..." She purred as I noticed her eyes were fluttering open. "I love you." Bella's dark eyes were from lust and nothing else since she was pushing it towards me in waves. "Make love to me..." She whispered as she ran her hand down my chest.
"My pleasure, darlin'." I growled as I quickly flipped her onto her back, careful not to smash our babies inside her stomach. "Pretty soon we're gonna have ta try new positions." I murmured as I unbuttoned her night shirt she changed into.
"Hmmmmm." Bella moaned as I took her right nipple into my mouth and rolled my tongue around it until it was hardened. "Really? What kind?" She whispered as she arched, moaning.
I growled smelling her arousal rise. "Any kind, darlin'." I whispered as I pulled away with a small pop. "As long as I can keep lovin' ya." I slid down til I was level with her protruding stomach. "Ya've given me a gift darlin'." I told her placing small kisses around her stomach, earning a kick from the little ones.
"Are...hmmmmm...you sure thissss issss ok?" Bella hissed as I moved further down and nipped at her right hip bone. "We wont hurt the babiessssss will we?" She hurried out in a single breathe before I attacked the other hip bone.
"They're fine." I growled as I ripped her underwear off along with her sleeping shorts. "I'll need ta buy ya some more clothes." I took in a deep breathe, feeling a little light headed from her arousal. No one better interrupt me now.
Bella bucked up towards me as she panted. "Please, Jasper!" I could hear the desperation in her voice. "I want you in me!"
I snarled feeling my venom boil in seeing my mate naked and withering in pleasure underneath me but I kept a reign on my gifts. Although I don't think Renee would mind a brief break from the pain but I don't think the others would like it much.
"My my Belle," I murmured as I lowered myself eye level with her wet heat. "Such a dirty mouth fer a young lady."
I had to wrap my arms around her thighs in order for me to keep her from crushing my head with her legs as I suddenly attacked her wet heat with my mouth. Bella screamed as I stuck my tongue deeper into her and wiggled it around then started to lick the inside of her like a lollipop. I knew she liked it because of the utopia, I felt coming from her.
"On...Only...AH!" Bella gasped and groaned as I hit a certain spot. "F-For y-you!"
I just smirked as I pulled away, causing her to whimper. "Good." I snarled as I stared into her blackened eyes. "On yer hands and knees."
Bella shivered as she did as I asked and moved to her hands and knees. Her stomach was almost touching the bed as she glanced over her shoulder at me. I saw the lust in her eyes and felt her lust pouring over me. I placed my hands on her back and brought them down, barely touching her. Bella was mewing at me to hurry up but I wanted to take my time. I ran my hands over her glistening skin as I took in my fill of her withering and wanting me. Just as I heard her growl at me, I moved closer only to thrust in to the hilt. Bella gasped and arched her back as I filled her. Her slick walls were clenching around me rather deliciously.
"Oh Jasper." Bella murmured as she wiggled her hips. "Move, please." She was begging so I decided to give her what she wanted.
I growled low in my throat as I pulled from her tight warm wet passage only to earn a moan as I thrusted back in. Once I had a good rhythm going and Bella was whimpering about going faster and harder, I picked up the pace. I could feel when her walls started to flutter around me which told me she was close. Leaning over her back, I was able to delve deeper into her heat hitting a place that caused her to cry out. I could feel the telltale sign of a tingle in my balls telling me I was close. Not wanting to go over without her, I retch around and moved my finger in between the slick folds to find the nerve button.
With one flick of my finger, Bella was falling over the edge and pulled me with her. Her back arched as she let out a keening wail of pleasure. I quickly followed after her as I thrusted once more then pressed as deep as I could. I could feel my balls emptying into Bella's waiting channel. Once I started to come down, I flipped us to our sides that way we wouldn't hurt the babies. I was limp but still buried deep into her channel, that was still fluttering around my slightly hardened member. The feelings of love, happiness and utopia filled the room as well as the house. I couldn't hold back the feelings any longer.
"I love you, too, Jasper." Bella giggled as she snuggled into my arms. "Be glad I had the room shielded to keep your gifts from seeping out." She looked over her shoulder at me.
I chuckled nuzzling my nose into her neck. "Get some rest, Belle." I whispered kissing my mating mark. "We'll be leavin' early in the mornin'."
"Ok," Bella yawned as she closed her eyes, our hands intertwined over her stomach. "Love you, Jasper."
I just smiled as I closed my eyes as well. "I love ya, too."
I was drifting but could still hear the others down stairs. I just realized they were slightly hazy to my senses. I guessed that had something to do with Bella's mental shield. I decided to leave that thoughts for later.
(Seth's Pov – Halfway To Arizona – 12:45 AM)
The wind whipped pass me as I ran but my mind was only thinking of getting to where Bella and the others were located. I don't know why, but I had a bad feeling that something wasn't right. I had been just inside the California Oregon boarder when I suddenly felt a warmth wash over me. It reminded me of a mothers hug but I could tell it was different then I had felt before. I had no idea what it was but I felt as though something was missing from my life. There seemed to be a pull that was pulling me towards the south and I couldn't help but follow it once I found out that the fighting was done with.
As I grew closer to the Nevada mountains, a scent of vampires hit my nose causing me to stop and looked around. With me being in my wolf form I knew that humans would only believe I was a rather large wolf but vampires would try and harm me. I did know how to fight but only one on one. When I heard the leaves above me, I glanced up only to see two males and a single female standing on the limbs above me. The female vampires eyes were narrowed as she looked at me but I could see that her eyes, along with the males, were black. I took a step back only to stop when they jumped from the tree. One male walked forward a few steps but I growled at him to stop where he was.
"He looks like the others." The female said as she glared at me.
Others? I couldn't help but think.
"Yes he does." The male who stepped forward agreed as I saw the other one move around behind me. "I can only guess he's with the wolves that were with the Major."
My eyes widen as I heard Jasper's old nickname. Shit! There are others that got away!
"What should we do with him, Abel?" The other male said as he stood a little to my left flank.
I gotta get a hold of someone! I thought as I saw the male, Abel, look as though he was thinking. ::If anyone can hear me, three vampires are heading to Forks!:: I didn't really know but I had a bad feeling. ::I'm sorry but I had to get to Bella. I'm somewhere in the Nevada Mountain range.::
"We should kill him." The female hissed as she glared at me.
Abel shook his head as he stared into my eyes. "Do you think our venom is poison to him?" He asked causing me to whimper.
It was then I heard Billy's voice in my head along with Jake's. ::We're on our way Seth.:: I could tell they were further then I had hoped. ::Run if you have to.::
::Yeah, right.:: I allowed them to see where the vampires were located. I have to do something. Maybe if I...
::Don't do it Seth!:: I heard Jake order me but I knew it was the only way to give them some time, but before I could do anything, I was thrown against tree.
"You better listen to me when I'm talkin' to you!" Abel snarled as he appeared in my line of view, even though it was dancing with red and black spots.
I snarled at him. Sorry dick head, I was kinda busy. Did ya leave a message? He picked me up by my throat causing me to shift back into my human form.
"Oh my!" I heard the female purr. "So they do have a human form."
"F-Fuck O-Off." I growled as I clung to Abel's arm, giving my throat a little rest unless he decided to squeeze a little tighter. "F-Fuckin' L-Leech-ches!" Please forgive me guys! I mentally screamed.
I heard Abel growl as he brought me closer to his face. "What did you call me?"
"A leech!" I yelled as I felt his hand loosen, allowing me to kick him in the chest sending him flying forward.
As soon as I was loose of his hold, I was off, transforming once more and headed south. ::I'm on my way with some leeches with an attitude!::
::What the hell were you doing!?:: I heard Jake snarl at me.
::I had to phase from stop from choking to death.:: I snorted as I felt someone grab my tail and suddenly I was flying into another tree.
"You've been a bad puppy." The female purred as I saw her moving towards me, the black and red spots were dancing in front of my eyes again only a lot more were present. "Running from us like that." She tisked me as she suddenly disappeared and I was thrown across the forest, hitting a few trees on the way.
Fuck that hurt! I thought as I tried to stand only I felt a sharp pain radiate through my right front leg. Damn it! My arm's broken!
::Hold on Seth!:: I heard Jake tell me as I watched the female move closer. ::We're on our way! Don't you dare die! What would I tell your dad?::
I shook my head, trying to make the spots disappear as I tried to stand. I heard the female chuckle but I snarled and locked eyes with her. I knew she was part of the group that had attacked Bella and that caused my inner wolf to want to howl. Giving into the feeling, I threw my head back and howled then lunged towards the female and snapped my jaws around one of her arms as she tried to hit me. With a twist of my head I was able to rip it off. I threw it to the side and lunged again. She was able to hit me in the back of the head as she moved at the last second.
I fell to the ground in a furry heap. The spots were dancing more forcefully in front of my eyes telling me I had another concussion. I snarled only to hear another snarl rip through the air. I heard the female vampire hiss as a red, black and blue blur rushed the female ripping her head off. My last image was of Bella holding the vampire's head in her hand as she gazed at me with a frown on her face. Her other hand was holding her stomach as I heard another snarl as Jasper appeared.
::Rest Seth, you're safe.:: I just sighed and nodded as I felt the blackness steal my consciousness.
(Bella's Pov – Arizona House – 11:40 PM)
I was sleeping soundly in Jasper's embrace when I heard the door open and Peter's scent floated towards my nose.
"Major, I need ta speak ta ya." I could tell that something was wrong.
I felt Jasper shift. "Rest darlin'." He whispered giving me a quick kiss finally getting off the bed. "I'll be right there."
Peter didn't say anything else as I heard a rustle of clothing and the door shut as Jasper left the room. I heard him head down to the first floor of the house where the living room was located. I had to strain a little but I could hear what they were saying. I decided to keep my heart rate the same as I listened.
"What'd ya want, Peter?" Jasper seemed a little upset.
Peter shifted, Must be a human trait. I thought as he finally answered.
"I just got a call from Demetri." His voice was rather low which told me he didn't want Jake or the other wolves to know whatever he was about to tell Jasper. "Seth's missin."
I couldn't help as my heart skipped a beat but I realized that Jasper wasn't paying attention at the moment. "What do ya mean missin'?" I heard a soft growl. "If Bella finds out..."
"I know, Major." Peter sounded as if he was whining. "Demetri says that Harry is really upset. Him an' the others know that somethin's happened ta Leah."
I tuned out as I suddenly felt a very aggressive pull from my stomach. One of my babies seemed to be restless. I frowned as I sat up rubbing my stomach. She didn't seem to be very happy at the moment because no matter what my baby wouldn't seem to settle down. It was then I heard Seth's voice in my mind.
I gotta get a hold of someone! There was a pause before he spoke again. If anyone can hear me, three vampires are heading to Forks!:: I felt my heart drop to my stomach as I realized just what was going on. I'm sorry but I had to get to Bella. I'm somewhere in the Nevada Mountain range.
Without a second thought, I was up out of bed, dressed and headed in the direction I felt my babe telling me where to go. I didn't know but I was nothing but a fast blur. As I grew further away, the pull to Jasper started to hurt but soon it started to close in. I heard a howl which caused the hairs on the back of my neck to stand on end. That was a pain filled howl which told me someone hurt Seth. I couldn't smell any vampire's scents but I looked around until I spotted a few trees. Narrowing my eyes, I realized vampires had to hide in the trees because of the fact the sun would make them stand out. I also noticed that even during the time when the sun was down, they seemed to stick closer to the trees.
When I changed my tactics, I picked up a faint scent of a vampire. Three to be exact. I could smell two males and a single female. I didn't know how but I knew they were fairly knew to this world. It was only when I started to notice a gradual incline, did my speed pick up. I could hear growling behind me which could only mean that either Jake or Billy, or both, were following me. I also could tell that Jasper was following me because of the pull in my chest not as bad as when I first took off.
It was then I heard a female voice in the far distance. "You've been a bad puppy."
My eyes widen as I pushed myself faster. I felt a very strong need to get to Seth before he got injured. I could only guess that it was coming from one of my babies. Without much thought of myself and only for my babies, I allowed them to guide my body. It seemed to work because before I knew it, I was ripping a female away from a light brown, slightly smaller then the others, wolf. I ripped her head off and turned to look at Seth. He as breathing which told me he would be ok.
"Bella!?" I heard Jasper scream as I saw him appear through the trees. "What the... Oh shit! Is he ok?" Jasper suddenly saw Seth lying there.
"I don't know." I told my mate as I sniffed the air as the wind shifted. I whipped around and looked north. "We have a problem." I told Jasper as I turned to look back at him. "There are two more heading North. They seemed to have realized we were on our way decided to leave this one behind." I looked over as I started to shake. "We have to do something."
"B-Bella." Seth's voice broke through my thoughts.
I dropped the vampires head, rushing to his side. "What?" I picked his head up and layed it in my head. "You're going to be ok." I told him as I brushed my fingers through his hair. "We'll get you some help."
"If we go now, we can get 'im ta Eleazar." Jasper said kneeling beside me. "Do you think you can take 'im back?" His eyes darkened. "Billy, Jacob an' I are gonna be headin' up north. We already gotta call in ta Demetri tellin' 'im what's happened."
I nodded as I stood, holding my arms out. "Pick him up for me?" I blushed slightly. "I don't think I can do that."
"Of course, darlin'." Jasper told me picking Seth and placing him in my arms. "Ya got 'im?" His eyes were full of concern and anger.
"I have him." I leaned over him and kissed him on the cheek. "I'll see you in a little while. Be safe." I smiled as I turned and took off, passing Jacob and Billy on the way. "I have Seth, follow Jasper." I told them as I kept going South.
I didn't want them to turn around and follow me so I told them to go to Jasper. At this time, I was the fastest between Jasper and I, so I would be able to get Seth to Eleazar quicker then Jasper, Jake or Billy could.

Author Note – So what do you think about Abel sticking back with two newborns? Seth is injured but hopefully Bella will be able to get him to Eleazar on time. Jasper, Billy and Jake are following after Abel and Chris. They seemed to have left Tasha alone. Do you think Abel has a gift? Well, at least Demetri was called to relay what has happened. Now all they have to do is keep Abel and Chris from getting to the people in the reservation...Smirks...
