Chapter 25
Bella's POV
I was shocked to see her….Angela.
"Angela" I said
"Hey" she said sitting down next to me
"What are you doing here?" I asked
"I moved in with my mom" she said
"Why?" I asked
"Because Mom said she wanted more time with me, and I felt if I moved to Seattle I could be here with you and my cousin" she said
"Oh…..and Angela? Apparently my name is Bridget now" I said
She grinned
"I'll make sure to remember that" she said
We compared schedules and we had every class together, thank the lord.
"Want to bet someone set this up?" I asked
"I can only bet it was your boyfriend" she said scrunching up her nose
"So what did your dad think when you told him you were moving in with your mom?" I asked
She shrugged,
"I never told him" she said
My eyes bugged out of my head….almost…
"Why?" I asked
"I knew he wouldn't let me so I told my mom to take care of it, she told me it's all taken care of" she said
"Your mom probably told him off" I said
She giggled
"I bet she did, she's a very dramatic person" she said
The shrill bell rang and I sighed. Angela stood up and helped me up where I steadied myself. She went and grabbed her stuff and came back to my locker and we walked to class. We sat next to each other. When the second bell rang the class started
"Now you'll be sitting in these seats the rest of the semester, which ends in January. Learn to like who you're sitting next to" she said
Angela smiled at me and the lady went on and on about her rules and where to find this, where to find that. It was super boring and I bet I could have fallen asleep. The bell ringing made me move from my seat immediately on my way to advanced chemistry with a new notebook and folder in my hand.
"So Bella, where do your parents think you are?" she asked
"I have absolutely no clue, as long as they don't find me before my birthday then I'm fine because I'll be 18 and legal" I said
"And they can't take you back to Chicago" she said
I nodded at her and we walked into the chemistry room, to see a seating chart already up on the board. I frowned, Angela and I sat on the opposite sides of the room. I didn't like this at all. Back in Chicago I would have been thankful not to have to sit next to her and she was on the other side of the room, but not this year. I sat in my seat and frowned as the people sat around me, they stared, I hated them all already.
The class went by quickly and I was thankful for that. When we came to Spanish we picked two seats out of sight in the back.
"So where are you and Ed living now? I heard you were in a hotel last" she said
"We got an apartment" I said
"Really? That means- he's working again?" she asked
"Yup, it's not very….uh…a big job much but it's something bringing in the money" I said
The teacher came in and handed everyone a list, of names, I might add.
"What should my name be? I like….Aurora" I said
"That's nice! I should mess with some people and be Olga" she said winking at me
I giggled and shook my head at her, she was such a weird person.
"What's your name?" she asked coming to me
"Aurora" I said
She smiled
"That's a beautiful name" she said
She looked at Angela and she smiled
"Raquel" she said
That wasn't the Olga I was expecting to come from her mouth
"Beautiful" she said
She walked away and I looked to Angela,
"That's no Olga Angela" I said
"I decided against it, sounds like I'm an idiot," she said
"I guess it does. You know I've been thinking" I said
"Tell me at lunch when everyone is to loud to hear" she said
Spanish went by quickly, we didn't really do much but say names and remember all the basic terms. I have nothing to do yet tonight. When lunch came I sat there poking it at my food,
"So tell me" she said
"I like the name- Aurora" I said
"It's a really nice name. Wait are you guys….having a girl?" she asked quietly
"Uh huh" I said smiling
She squealed and threw her arms around my shoulders
"That's so great! Edward is going to spoil her" she said quietly again
"And our son?" I said quietly
Her eyes almost bugged out of her head and she stood up dragging me away to the bathrooms. She closed and locked the door.
"You're having twins!" she said
"I am" I said rubbing my belly
"A boy and a girl? Aurora and Edward Junior" she said
"No EJ, Edward already said no to that" I said
She burst out laughing,
"Already said no to that? You must have been talking about this already" she said
"Only ever since we figured out what the genders of the babies were" I said
There was a loud knock on the door and Angela opened the door to see Mrs. Nook with her arms crossed
"Sorry, bad stomach ache" Angela lied and we slipped out of the bathroom
We walked towards the library and people did stare, I didn't like them staring. It made me feel like an outcast, because they just stared at me like I was the loner in the school. We sat at a table and Angela looked at me with something in her face, I didn't like it.
"Have you ever thought of informing your parents?" she asked
"What? No! They'd kill me" I said
"They have a right to know" she said
"Angela" I sighed
"Bella, my mother never told her parents, until late into her pregnancy with me, hell she even waited that long to tell my father and look at what happened. They're separated now and her parents don't talk to her much, do you want that to happen to you?" she asked
"Angela it won't" I said
She sighed
"I just hope one day you don't regret this" she mumbled
