All the reviews were great! And lots of questions I'll be sure to get to; But first I must make a HUGE apology to all you very loyal followers and readers for my absence and delay at getting this chapter up. I had seemed to run into a negative load of karma last month and nearly lost it all; my writings that is. My Laptop had a full system crash and I was lucky to find an expert to get it all back for me. I was hesitant to continue on for a while and needed to re-sort through so many tonnes of files before I felt even close to writing again; my muse abandoned me and half this chapter was left to be put together awkwardly. I'm not the most confident in this one but please enjoy it!
Prepare, Plot and Play!
The young witch was slowly and precisely stepping her way through the maze. The gravel an obstacle but not something Hermione wasn't willing to take on for the ultimate victory over her sibling. This was no game; it was war. A bush up head shuddered causing the brunette to freeze. The tension was high and Hermione could feel her fingers twitching at the excitement of getting caught…but nothing followed. Their mistake; her chance. Creeping further on, brown eyes finally located the tiniest of giveaways; the tip of a dress peeking out.
"Gotcha!" crying out in victory as her arms circled the petite waist of her baby sister, Hermione hoisted the girl into the air for a few spins. Gabrielle was screaming in surprise elation and ended up laughing along with her sister at the childish game they were pertaining to that afternoon. Summer was proving to be a hot one over the Delacour home but it was only more incentive for the girls to be outside enjoying the daylight over dark libraries and study rooms. Whenever they got too hot, the large fountain was more than plenty for a quick splash which tended to lead to a water fight and two very drenched witches.
"No fair! You cheated!" the small blonde proclaimed after being let go. Hermione just grinned while shaking her hand.
"Incorrect. I just know how to find you. You need to play more hide and seek Gabby, or to stop moving when you're trying to hide" she giggled and took off back to the garden entrance.
"Hey!" the two had been wasting time together with little interruption form either their parents or mysteriously absent older sibling for most of the day but that didn't mean all eyes weren't on them.
From the second story balcony, the couple sat enjoying the sun just the same. Watching their two youngest girls play around as they used to, was very heart-warming and proud looks adorned faces. While seemingly hiding behind his large newspaper, Leon's sight of them remained unobstructed. The tiniest of pricks hitting his lids.
"Love, there is no need for that" Apolline spoke over a steaming cup of sweet tea; never ask a Veela woman why her tastes were so hypocritical to the weather. There was no logical answer.
"I'm not doing anything" straightening himself and his immaculate newspaper out, the wizard tried to hold in the tears. It was so nice to see Hermione so carefree and open again.
"I can smell it"
"I didn't ask you to be an all-powerful Veela beauty with amazing senses and ability to read me all the time! Let a man shed tears of joy in peace!"
"Yes dear" Apolline replied with another sip of her tea, smile adorning her features as she couldn't glance away from the love of her life. The man truly was something else; so willing and dedicated to take in and raise a girl not even his own. While it was her instincts that made the decision for her, the blonde woman had always feared the selfishness of humans. But of course, her man was above the rest.
"Mama what are you teasing Papa about now? I can hear him from down the hall" Fleur swayed her way out onto the balcony with a light swish of her summer dress. The bright colours weren't a common sight on the oldest Delacour child but she wasn't going to spend a hot summer in anything darker; besides it wasn't her style.
"Ah my beauty of a daughter has come to save me" Leon cheered as he placed a kiss to the girl's cheek; one she happily accepted before joining them at the small table.
"I don't know Papa, you could deserve it" the two witches shared a knowing smirk but said little more. The only man of the house scoffed and returned to the page he was reading.
"Have you decided to reply to your Headmistress' letter yet love?" Apolline asked softly, placing her cup down without a sound.
"I will do so after this evening's meal. I still wish to know what 'Mione wants to do concerning her role in the ensemble of a performance" Fleur replied, paying too much attention to her perfectly manicured nails. Knowing her daughter well, Apolline wasn't phased in the slightest.
"Very well. Just be sure to clearly state you both have our permission to participate"
"I cannot process a single logical explanation for them reviving that old death trap of a 'tournament'" Leon spoke up after folding his paper. "It was banned for a very good reason. Students died during that competition and now they want to start it once more in hopes it doesn't end in the same result? Preposterous! I hold to my word of it being dangerous Fleur and I hope you are not taking this lightly young lady"
"Papa" Fleur was soft spoken and very clear in her following words. "I have taken more than just any sufficient time to study on the Tournament since returning home. I agree with you; it was a very dangerous sporting event that has taken lives in the past however, I will not back down from this challenge nor disrespect my school or my family. We have been chosen as an official candidate and I will offer my name into this Tournament"
"Spoken as a true Delacour my dear" Apolline was so proud of her eldest she planted two very overly dramatic kisses to either cheek.
"Mama…" Fleur almost whined. Almost.
"What did we miss?" Gabrielle came running in with a big grin and overly eager expression to find out why exactly her sister was getting such affection and how she could receive the same.
"Ah my little rascal!" Leon threw his paper down to open his arms up for his youngest daughter whom was all the more excited to jump onto his lap. "Did you have fun? Did you manage to catch her this time?"
"She too smart for me Papa! And I know she cheats!"
"A cunning one she is, but I'll share with you a few secrets about our dearest hmm?" Leon leaned in closer to the tiny blonde's ear.
"Leon" his wife sighed at the man's antics while Fleur just giggled.
"Papa no matter what you tell her, my tricks will still be my own. You've yet to win a game in the last few years have you not?" Hermione wasn't far behind the girl and took the last remaining seat, opposite Fleur, after giving their mother a soft peck in greeting.
"I have raised you too well my daughter" Leon chuckled deeply as all his girls shared a very similar smirk. Very much the beautifully raised girls of the Delacour clan.
With the start of summer, Hermione and Fleur began their break on the better end of terms than what their year began. While the relationship they once had was unsalvageable, the brunette most of all wanted their connection to remain. Whether it was out of fear or hesitance to see the blonde go, Hermione couldn't say but never again did she want Fleur excluded from her life and she'd do whatever she could to keep her close. Young Gabrielle was the most enthused to see her sisters return safe and sound, clinging to either of them constantly demanding more and more details on what she'd missed out in mere 'letters'. A certain trophy or two were sure enough to make her grin even bigger.
The girls, the lingering member, and surrounding parents at the moment of announcement weren't expecting to hear Apolline clearly state the main family would be spending most of their summer isolated; privately. The chateau, the land, the forest; for them alone. Their grandmother had apparently agreed to this and so waving goodbye to their friends and family alike, Fleur and Hermione began their holiday wrapped in the arms of their most loved ones. Months into the holiday period and the family had been enjoying lazy sun filled days in the gardens, deep conversational evenings around the dining table and a few slumber like parties downstairs in one of the spacious lounge rooms.
The girls were genially using their time, outside all things play, for spell practice; Hermione took every opportunity to battle their father in chess while Apolline continuously challenged and tested all three daughters in their languages. If Fleur and Hermione were to participate for the Tournament coming up their following school year, they needed to be perfect.
"I am sorry Madam, I do not understand" Hermione said in confusion.
"Ah that is my mistake, forgive me I wasn't very clear." The half giantess said before clearing her throat "The Triwizard Tournament has been reinstated after so many years and our school has been chosen once again to compete. Now I know you are not of age and dear Merlin child, I am not asking you to be our champion; no that is for our elder students and I will be sending out letters of recommendation to our soon to be seventh years for parental permission. But that isn't why I have called you here"
"Then why Headmistress? I do not see how I can be of help" the brunette was patient but this was trying on her nerves.
"The Tournament will be held in England; at a school called Hogwarts. Ugly name but it has many capable wizards and somehow made a name for itself over there. Now we are sending our best to this competition and I have chosen you to be our representative; you are the brightest witch we have ever had here. You have achievements and skills that will make those other schools envious and that is exactly what we want. So I ask you again Miss Granger…"
"…'Mione? Are you still with us?" brown eyes returned to focus after her little impromptu remanence to the past to find the face of her sister staring at her with a concerned expression. Offering a smile Hermione looked to both her parents before wording her next sentence carefully.
"I'm thinking the next year will be a very…interesting one" she knew her pick of words weren't done exceptionally but the idea of it all was still rather unravelling. "Are you excited Fleur? I've read up on the schools that compete. Durmstrung is a very strong contestant although their record for wins isn't as high as ours. But this English school, Hogwarts; I've been studying as much as I can and perhaps another visit to a bookstore…" Hermione didn't want to press into any touchy subjects and watched her parents' expressions very carefully whenever she mentioned the land across the seas. They seemed unchanged; Leon wasn't very impressed, Apolline proud.
"Oh no young lady; you have plenty of books in the library as it is"
"In who's? Ours or her own?" Gabrielle giggled receiving a much narrowed eyed smirk from the brunette. Fleur joined her youngest sister in a fit of laughter knowing the tease was very real possibility. Hermione's personal library was growing rapidly, her thirst for knowledge unlike anything they'd ever seen and their Papa unable to deny his human daughter anything was sure to be the one expanding it soon enough.
"How about you and I go check the library ourselves Gabrielle? Maybe we can find something our little 'Mione couldn't" Apolline rose from her seat with a flowing ease, it constantly made Hermione jealous of her family's ability to be so graceful. It wasn't possible without magic surely. The smallest blonde jumped up from her father's lap and eagerly grabbed the elder Veela's hand, giving the remaining three a wave. Leon adjusted himself before looking up, face hardening.
"Hermione, what are you going to do?"
"Papa…" Fleur started but was gestured to be silent. One does not speak over their seniors.
"The Tournament wouldn't be the sole reason you'd be attending Hogwarts School with your sister" Leon said being blunt as he possibly could. For nearly as long as the witch has been under his care, the man wanted to protect her from everything; the unanswerable questions surrounding her birth being the first and foremost. All accompanying pain being the second.
"I know that Papa" Hermione replied sombrely.
"It would become a tense filled year inside a school that could've been your own had you not come with us. You will meet people whom had influence over your upbringing. You will be faced with many possible outcomes that didn't happen and more questions surrounding 'what if..?'"
"Papa" again Fleur tried to speak but this time it was Hermione who gave her a soft thankful smile.
"I know what you are talking about Papa. I've taken everything you've said; you, Mama, grandmother and everyone. However, the Headmistress asked me to be Beauxbaton's representative and mascot for the Tournament. I am not to compete but be sure that, as a school, we are portrayed to the best of our abilities. Not test out the country's offered institute to see if I wish to attend it" it was like she had rehearsed it and it was as exactly Leon and Fleur heard spilling from her mouth. Yet it wasn't alongside a confirmed yes or no.
"You haven't fully decided yet have you?" Leon continued to which the brunette shook her head. How could a mere fourteen, soon to be fifteen year old decide something so small that could change her life? What if she did meet the people responsible for her abandonment? What if by some chance she met a relative she never knew was even alive..? The many professors already teaching whom would've been responsible for her education. The thousands of students that…
The thoughts were endless and then what? Hermione was to return to France like nothing had happened in the first place? What about her sisters? Her cousins? Parents? Would they fight for her to stay or be willing to let her decide what she wanted in her life? And that meant she could leave them…she was only fourteen year olds! No child should make these decisions…! Hermione hadn't realised she'd closed her eyes until the feeling of a large warm hand sat upon her head. Leon was kneeling beside her chair, much like he did years ago when she was throwing a fit at the dinner table. Some vegetables weren't worth fighting a stubborn battle over.
"I'm sorry if I made you worried; I just want to be sure you're going there for your reasons, not those of the schools" the soft caresses had the brunette calmed instantly and the two humans shared a smile. "Now then, we have about a week left before we're all going to the coast. The whole clan will be meeting us there so I suggest you use your remaining time wisely"
With that the girls stood and a quick glance was all it took to see they were presentable, not a single wrinkle in sight. Leon got up off the floor and waved his hand to clean up the table for them, allowing the two a chance at an exit swiftly. There wasn't much the duo could do…at least what they have done already. Their time together was easier now; each other's presence a welcomed feeling instead of a hesitant wondering. There was only the hope that come the trip south and the arrival of many cousins and friends the summer life would become ten times more...interesting.
The sunshine coastline was a beckoning fantasy land of pristine shimmering dunes and roaring waves of crystal clear blue water. The ocean was calling to them the moment the family arrived but it was to wait at least half a day; greeting the numerous clansmen took much of one's time but Hermione was more than happy to go through the hordes of hugs and kisses as was part of her everyday life.
Nathanael and his parents were one of the first accompanied by Veela relatives that Hermione had not seen in some time. The children were left alone to their long awaited reunion moments, with every arrival more and more squeals and calls of laughter echoed through the entrance way. Fleur was very happy to see her best friends again; the group of girls so excited for the summer fun and any number of mischievous schemes they were sure to pull off.
Seemingly not as enthusiastic as two yet to be mentioned twins whom encased Hermione in a cocoon of warmth and smothering flesh the second they saw her through the open doors. Even Gabrielle's insistent pull and demand to release her sister did nothing to hinder their affection which caused the audience of parents to chuckle; the brunette captive blushed. Crystal and Danielle were perhaps the best protective cousins any girl could ever ask for, their Veela nature of being overly touchy affectionate with no sense of personal space only added to their overall outstanding personalities. But Hermione could say that about any of the creature blood clan.
The clan boys' entrances were with less flare than the girls; after Tristan's most reserved arrival, the gang was complete and more than keen to get their summer fun started with the most important and central activity of the holiday. Beach. Towels and blankets were spread far and wide, umbrellas flared and magically stuck into the sand at just the perfect angle to allow the bathers the amount of sun they so desired. This was an activity share by most of the females, human and Veela alike. The males; fathers in majority situated themselves beside their stunningly beautiful partners and unfolded a paper, book or some other form of quiet entertainment to keep themselves occupied.
The younger generations of the clan were all dressed to impress; the ravishing Veela were all adorning very revealing bathing suits of varying colours, designs, patterns and no doubt Hermione would've feared self-esteem issues standing on the same beach as they did if not for her familiarity with such a sight.
The young teenager wasn't one to ever deny the Beings were of impeccable beauty and they had a knack for showing it off in just the right way. Momentarily lounging under her own shade, Hermione's eyes glanced over the youthful range of almost sparkling bodies dotting the sand. For a clan of magical folk they enjoyed some rather muggle orientated games such as beach volleyball and football. The wizards, far fewer in number seemed to have scattered themselves evenly among their Veela clan members, chests bare to the world and soaking in the attention all the same. Nath and Tristan were trying their hand, or should she say foot in the latter sport. Capturing to watch really.
"Mione, are you enjoying yourself?" the voice caught her by surprise as the soon to be fifteen year old wasn't expecting such a girl to take a seat at her side. More accurately; a woman.
"I am, thank you. I'm rather for the shade or the water than burning my skin under the sun. We're not all blessed with your magical gift to tan so beautifully" she replied with a smooth tongue, causing the Veela to giggle.
"What do I hear under this particular umbrella? My, such ladies whispering gossip without me? Surely not" another body was quick to secure her other side and Hermione couldn't look at the two beauties at once. An organised attack. The Twins could learn such tactics…
"If you're hoping for such whispers on your clan-sister that would be a lie. I'm sorry, I tend to learn all your secrets last" Hermione offered a playful but truthful smile to which the older girl just hugged her shoulders briefly.
"Another note is our Mione here isn't one for gossip, Emelie. Rather boring in such a regard" Steph giggled again, this time at the brunette's rather sour look before leaning back on her arms to stretch out her glorious unblemished legs in the sunshine. The fourth year looked back out to the variety of supermodel worthy bodies currently occupying the beach view.
Hermione never really spent any amount of 'significant' time with Fleur's three very close girlfriends. Angelique perhaps more than the other two on grounds her age allowed her more time with the twins and in relation to Hermione also. But the brunette's familiarity with the Veela beauties changed almost overnight and she really couldn't explain why; they became close on a deeper level than simply clansmen and the willingness the trio went to for her... Even when Fleur was absent from the group, the girls would gravitate themselves towards the younger witch like breath-taking monic butterflies to an aspiring yet to bloom flower. An odd metaphoric but Hermione couldn't think of much else at the moment. Her Veela bodyguard group was continuously growing it seemed.
"Well, looks like Fleur isn't letting the others off easy" Emelie spoke up casually while rubbing a hand down her other arm; no doubt feeling the effects of the sun's rays to her skin. Brown eyes traced over such motions before taking note the other girls were also forwarding thinking enough to bring back out their potions and reapply a protective lathering. Hermione never seemed to tan no matter how much sun she got and when compared to the multitude of beauties around her, the girl's self-esteem seemed to take on the opposite effect; rather proud. This didn't stop her being added to the list though. With a sigh Hermione gave up her arms and legs to be massaged with the sweet smelling lotion while her attention remained on the beach.
"Fleur never lets anyone off easy Emelie" Angelique stated while taking extra care to rub into the youngest girl's soft limb. "…you have such smooth skin 'Mione"
"Please don't start doing this again" the brunette sighed.
"Do what?" it was a seemingly innocent response but the girl knew better than to listen to half the sweet talk Veela's usually spurt. Remaining no longer than a few more seconds before standing, the soon to be fourth year collected herself before practically strutting away from the ladies without a care. She moved past the games and ongoing battles of skill to wade in the shallows; her deep thinking so easily read that her best friends had no problem sneaking up on her and cornering the victim into an impromptu splashing fest. Hermione was caught between Tristan's arms and Nath's assault before finally calling in backup; the deadliest ally, her baby sister.
Looking on from their position the three Veela girls said nothing between them. It was but a moment of passing, a short sweet moment to gaze on the sight of a girl, a growing beauty amongst the flourishing garden to come forth into her own. Even knowing that soon her growth and final bloom could perhaps be groomed by other, strong forces; Emelie's wandering gaze saw that Fleur was experiencing the exact same thing.
The children of the clan lasted in the sunshine much longer than their parents and older counterparts. Hermione herself had to take a break after so much running around and immature fun she got to have; but all of it was so lightening. The day was worth a thousand bad ones and the ones to follow were just as memorable. Every morning the lot of them, elder Veela girls included would come together for breakfast, join the family for some light hearted chatter and then disappear. They'd play games on the beach go for walks, adventures; some would host crowd pleasing duels and breath-taking performances all for the applause and laughter of their peers. There truly was no schedule to how a Veela clan enjoyed their summer. How they came to relax and have fun was limitless.
Some day's Hermione would feel bursting with energy and demand her sisters and cousins to join her on an adventure of wonder; other times she just wanted to be left alone with a good book and wait to fall asleep in the warm sunlight. The twins, after some time to overcome their supposed 'withdrawal' from her presence, overcame it enough to space themselves; the older girls did too but for one seemed to linger around like her second shadow much more. And it wasn't Gabrielle.
Tristan was by all definition a perfect gentleman. He was just as dedicated to his studies, his internal and external performance in all things and perhaps given the right situation, Hermione found his company to be very worthwhile. But during their stay at the Villa, she'd found his constant presence to be almost an infliction of something; he was making the extra effort to be at her side. In result, Hermione started to doubt herself and her state of happiness because of it. The young wizard was a caring soul, in his own way and would only put himself out of the norm so while doing it for others. For her. On their final evening to their stay at the coast, Hermione had managed to escape the rather festive atmosphere inside the home and all lingering bodies that came with it, for the quiet, cool ocean breeze of their outdoor balcony.
"Mione?" perhaps not so quiet.
"Fleur?" she replied with light tease. The two had indeed reaffirmed their close relationship, not as it was but anew and the brunette hoped to a point where they'd trust each other explicitly again.
"I was going to ask you for a sunset picturesque stroll this evening but such tone with me…" the blonde had a smirk adorning her face, giving away her clear intentions of the offer.
"Don't be so sensitive, it's unbecoming. I'd love to" Hermione stood from her seated position to join the older girl on the sand dunes completely unaware by the time they'd made it down the beach a ways, they'd had a small audience.
"You think she will finally tell her?" Angelique was nursing a glass of dark liquid between her hands, one could only assume its contents.
"I doubt that either of them really needs such words to be said aloud; did you notice her stares recently? Her eyes have wandered over every member of the clan; well the boys at least and nothing" Stephanie stated while leaning against the nearest furniture set while Emelie said nothing. "She's come into her beauty, her skills are unmatched; the two are clearly growing closer once again. I think Fleur's intentions for us were well timed. We will be needed soon"
"I still have my doubts" their third member finally spoke up. "Not for either of them. It's very clear for Fleur but its 'Ermione I fear will take on too much of this at once. It could mentally hurt her to think about everything…them as one"
"She's still growing, there is little to fear now" Angelique placed her cup aside without thought. "Besides they have years to ponder and stew on about all that. Be in the now Emelie and that means will our two little love birds finally do it?"
"Such thoughts inside a young lady's mind, how vulgar of you Angelique" Stephanie teased with a grin. "Besides we must first get through the first stage and that is little 'Ermione's shock of the whole situation"
"Hahaha! There is no way. Not even a tiny bit surprised" Nathanael came out to join them, his proud tone showing openly. Emelie's arm found its way round his shoulders while he continued. "It's 'Ermione. I place my chess set on the fact she knows perfectly well and the two will have quite a year ahead of them" his eyes wandered slightly to a form hidden mostly in shadow; another watcher of the distancing pair.
"I'm sorry Fleur but I'll have to disagree" Hermione remained firm in her conviction and wasn't going to budge simply because her sister was giving her the saddest expression possible. The two were taking their time, letting their toes dig into the soft sand and soak in the waning tides. The brunette's hand gently resting on the older girl's arm.
"You cannot deny that she has changed. She has discovered the 'whom'…" Fleur started her counter but did little else to follow it through with any facts or proof of claim. It wasn't normal for the two and their conversation to even remotely wander close in topic to the less than desirable sisters on the opposite end of the family tree.
"It can't be easy knowing" Hermione's eyes were on their feet and the darkening sands.
"Difficult but there is little we can do about it; some ability to refuse takes so much strength...it's almost a burden"
"Giving in sounds easy. Why not do it?" Hermione's voice was compassionate and there wasn't a trace of criticism of which captured Fleur's heart. For a human to be so…
"You don't know what you're asking 'Mione"
"I do"
"And who told you this exactly?"
"No one. It's not a mastermind puzzle to piece together Fleur. The way you've acted, the visions" the blonde could only smile distantly.
"You always were the one with the brilliantly gifted mind"
"Shhh let's not destroy Gabrielle's dream so early in life. She has some years to go" the two cracked a smile and the tense air before breaking down into fits of giggles. Hermione's hand slipped from its position to become captured in Fleur's larger one.
"Being outside the mature age helps greatly"
"I'm nearly fifteen years old Fleur. I'm old enough to make my own decisions" her retort caught the blonde off guard.
"You always were a little girl whom wanted to grow up fast"
"Don't try to change the subject Fleur" And caught again. The Veela wasn't faring well in this battle. "If you continue to deny it any longer won't it become dangerous?"
"I have to wonder whom is informing you of all this information 'Mione" Fleur's voice fell a few octaves, becoming both bothered by the girl's growing knowledge of the situation. IT was becoming dangerous just not in the younger girl's sense.
"I've seen what you've been doing; placating your blood with various girls. Are they enough for you to forget?" the brunette released her hold on Fleur and stepped onward.
"They are nothing more than distractions" Fleur's expression was stern; voice unwavering.
"They are human beings like me"
"I don't care. You are the only one I think about. You've grown up so beautifully and so smart; but that is taking an advantage I shouldn't be allowed"
"This is my choice too. I'm old enough to decide on my own now"
"Would you have chosen me?" a pale lip was caught between sharp teeth, nerves twitching. "Your own sister? This is a cruel twisted joke from the fates and I…" Fleur's voice got caught at the back of her throat.
"My only sister is Gabrielle" Hermione's bluntness was heart stopping and perhaps cold. But it was truth. "I haven't seen you as a sibling figure in a long time Fleur. You've been almost a stranger to me; a side of you I'd never seen before came out"
"'Mione…"
"One day, I'll have answers to the spaces in my past and then all this wouldn't feel so… weird but I'm happy right now; I feel needed and loved by everyone, not just you. Unconditionally wanted by someone...I like it, even if I don't know exactly what it entails…"
"I've waited so long to hear you say that…" Fleur's eyes were tearing up and Hermione flinched at the sudden change of the Veela girl. Her face was glowing, eyes shimmering with their own interpretation of what the brunette just confessed to.
"Whoa now! Just because I admitted…doesn't mean you get a free pass. I'm not going to fall for your Veela wiles"
"Aww but that would be so…" hand was taken and brought up to such soft sweet lips, the gleam having returned to Fleur's eye gazing lovingly into the deep brown ones of…
"If you finish that sentence I'm walking back alone"
"Noooo" Fleur's whine wasn't appreciated nor acknowledged by the girl whom just walked on further.
"Besides, I'm seemingly immune to all your Veela tricks. You've got to do 'this' the old fashioned way. I'm not going to accept anything less and the Tournament isn't an excuse to use either"
"Of course not 'Mione"
"Good" Hermione paused and looked out to the dark horizon. Feeling the warmth of Fleur behind her, the girl leant into it. "I hope England is kind to us"
