In her mad dash, Sandy passed countless rooms and halls, all of them looked identical. She couldn't see the differences (though slight) as they passed in a blur. Only occasionally did Sandy ever meet another guard, but she incapacitated them before they could even think to reach for their blaster. Only did Sandy stop when she came face to face with a massive red door with binary text in large yellow lettering reading, "01010000 01101100 01100001 01101110 01101011 01110100 01101111 01101110."
Sandy observed it curiously, just barely letting her guard down as the sound of anyone chasing after her had long since faded away. Sandy knew how to read binary, but hadn't needed to do so in such a long time that she could just barely make out the letters 'P, A, K, and N' written above.
Sandy looked to her right and noticed that there was an interface with a green colored screen. Sandy approached it and took notice of the number pad below. Experimentally, Sandy pressed the number '3'.
Instantly, a massive string of text began flashing on the screen and rapidly changing. With Sandy's quick eye, she tapped the number '5' as, in a brief moment, the number flashed by in red. Sandy caught seven more red numbers flashing and clicked them in the order they came. A smile spread across her face as when she tapped the '*' sign, there was a loud conformational "DING", and the doors slowly began to slide open.
Only for some sort of siren to start blaring to inform the staff that the door was being opened as well as two lights on either side of the doors to start spinning and flashing red. Her heart skipping a beat, Sandy sprinted through the gap in the still opening doors as they reached the halfway point.
Sandy found herself in horror and awe the moment she looked up.
She was in a silo-like chamber with several catwalks and rooms overlooking it. In the center, there lay a monster of a statue. It was the biggest one of Plankton's statues and it appeared to be made of the same type of dusty old bricks that every other statue was formed from. Except, looking up at the eye, one could clearly see that the surface of it was simply whitish Plexiglas with a red and black painting of Plankton's pupil. But, even then, looking a bit closer at it, Sandy could see some sort of machinery behind the surface attached to the pupil.
Sandy was suddenly snapped out of her trance when she heard the sound of footsteps approaching the chamber. Sandy's eyes darted to a nearby ladder. She made a break for it and sprinted upward blindingly fast. Upon reaching its peak, Sandy hopped onto the catwalk next to her and ran for the door. However, like the robotic drones they were, the guards spotted her easily and began taking shots at her.
Luckily, by that time Sandy had already reached the door to the nearest observation room and threw herself inside.
Wasting no time, Sandy hopped to her feet and slammed the button next to the open doorframe, to which a metal slab slid over it. Panting heavily, Sandy slowly peered through the window, her eyes scanning for any signs of the guards. Thankfully, the window had a label beneath it reading "BLAST PROOF". Sandy knew that so long as the door was locked they couldn't get in.
It was then that Sandy noticed the vast array of buttons and switches dotting a control panel in front of her. It looked like something out of a cartoon, except this time the buttons weren't just multicolored dots. In fact, they were all white with numerical labels. Sandy, curious, examined them closely. *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* Sandy spun her head around.
The guards has reached the door. "Well, time ta go..." Sandy whispered to herself, eyes still fixated on the massive statue. She slinked over to another door on the wall ahead, this one opened via the push of a button next to it.
Slipping out of the room, Sandy noticed the button next to the door on the other side, *SMASH* Sandy's foot smashed into the button, destroying it and jamming the door shut.
She ran.
Plankton sat in his chair fingers folded together as he stared out into the destructive empire he'd forged from an innocent town, and smirked at his victory. Swiveling around, Plankton face his computer wife with malicious happiness, "Karen dear, how is the progress going on Sector 4-B's construction going?" he asked nonchalantly.
Karen, now having being upgraded into a massive screen attached to the ceiling with several other smaller screens for her to switch between, wires running out of every side to connect with the screens and most of the large mechanical devices in "Planktopolis", switched over to a monitor placed on a large Plankton-shaped robot on standby in said sector, formerly Conch Drive.
The zombified people were clearly slaving away, fashioning numerous stone statues of their tyrannical ruler. A number of them were taking apart the three former houses of SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward, and adding onto them with bits and pieces of what was going to transform them into 'Planktonized' versions of their former selves.
Karen switched back to her main screen, "They're all slaving away, honey!" Karen informed in an unusually chipper and enthusiastic tone of voice.
Plankton nodded, "Good, good... Oh! and, how are the rebels?" he asked. Karen switched to and upgraded body, witch was now a slender female body with feet shaped like high-heels.
"Unfortunately, we could only fit a helmet on the lobster. The snail kept receding its eye-stocks, the puffer fish's head was too fat. And about the squirrel, well, if we took her air helmet off, she'd already drown..." Karen trailed off awkwardly.
Plankton raised an eyebrow then narrowed his eyes suspiciously, "What? Wait, what happened to the squirrel?" Plankton asked, his tone slightly quickened with worry and anger.
Karen stared off into the distance for a couple of seconds, nervous, before facing her husband once more and sighing, "She escaped captivity..." she said slowly with a guilty tone in her voice.
Plankton's eyes widened with a dumbfounded, almost offended expression took entered his face.
He didn't speak for a couple of seconds, neither did Karen. But, just as those seconds began to stretch out into an eternity, Plankton suddenly slammed his fist on the control panel, spinning around to reveal a look of blind fury, "Find her. Yourself."
