The Advent91: Hello everyone I have a really important and happy announcement to make and that concerns updates of this story. Seeing as completing an entire saga first can take time with Raging Tides being an example I have decided that from now on I shall update two chapters at a time starting after this one! I hope that is satisfying to everyone and as a treat for today after this announcement I give you the first chapter of the "Ninja Ascension Saga"

I know that there are those that would prefer Chunin Exams Saga but the title of the saga could give you a hint of what's to happen to Naruto personally. Besides this making one believe oh he is obviously going to become a Chunin. Not saying that he will or not but the title of the saga can hint at other things so think you can guess them? Anyway enjoy!

Ninja Ascension Saga: Start

When Naruto finally brought his steps within the walls of his village he actually breathed out a sigh of relief. This mission turning from C to A was an unexpected but somehow they had managed to pull through it all and not only that but he also became stronger through his encounters. Now that he was back he can concentrate on continuing his training in preparation for these Chunin Exams.

"That is if Kakashi sensei allows us to enter." Naruto thought.

"Kurenai and Guy thank you for coming to our aid." Kakashi said giving his gratitude to his friends.

"You should thank the Hokage for that. As soon as we both returned from our respective missions he immediately sent us out to the Land of Waves and with all speed." Kurenai said.

"Then I shall as we go pick up our pay from the Missions Office."

"Actually he wants you and your team to meet him in his office instead due to the events that transpired." Guy informed.

"Oh then to his office me and my team shall go."

"Kakashi how is it that your student has become that strong?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Kakashi, Naruto's scores at the academy say otherwise to his strength."

"Kurenai you rely on scores on a freshly graduated Genin's score card from the academy to dictate one's strength?"

"I don't mean to but this would mean that Naruto is stronger than your other student, Sasuke Uchiha."

"We don't know if Naruto is superior to Sasuke now. You may never know Sasuke may catch up to Naruto in time. He and Naruto are officially rivals now and one aims to be stronger than the other. Let us not forget that one's higher strength over another does not dictate the winner and even Naruto himself believe this."

"Can you by any chance explain his training then?" Guy asked.

"Well I have been training them in their respective fields. I have been aiding Sasuke in bettering his swordsmanship and even aiding Sakura in her continued studies within Medical ninjutsu, and as for Naruto I have been aiding him in improving his Chakra control. Other than that his skills in other fields are up to par and as a matter of fact I plan on learning of their affinities soon."

"You are taking their training seriously it seems."

"Oh don't get me wrong I am still getting my quality time with my…"

"Don't!" Kurenai said narrowing her eyes upon Kakashi.

As Naruto was standing apart from the rest of the group he was suddenly approached by Kabuto.

"Naruto, I would like to thank you for saving my ass back there on the bridge."

"It's not a problem Kabuto there is no way I was going to let you die."

"As a token of appreciation allow me to treat you."

"Treat me?"

"Yes perhaps you would like me to buy you a bowl of ramen?"

"Hey thanks I am quite hungry."

Suddenly once again like before Konai appeared behind Naruto through a Body Flicker once again having her arms wrapped around his neck laying her chin upon his left shoulder, and once again Naruto felt nervous with butterflies in his stomach knowing how Konai acts.

"Naruto, I too want to award you."

"What kind of reward do you have in mind?"

"Well I don't know what would you like?" She asked with a smile.

"How about the halt in teasing for a bit?"

"Oh Naruto you know I can't do that otherwise how would our future relationship be any fun?"

"Future relationship?"

"Well of course after all we did share a kiss don't you remember?" Konai reminded as she snuggles her face into Naruto's.

"Kiss?" Sakura questioned allowed looking Konai's way.

Kabuto only made an oh sound as he looked away as Sakura was with the gathered Advanced Genin in seconds looking upon Naruto with a questioning gaze with her knuckles upon her hips.

"Naruto, what does Konai mean by you two sharing a kiss?"

"Hey wait a second we agreed that was a total accident!"

Konai must be messing with him again or was she?

"Naruto, when was this?" Sakura asked.

"It wa-,"

"Well remember when you went to the restroom?"

"Yeah I do, Konai?"

"Well while you were doing your business I and Naruto shared a moment."

"A moment?" Naruto questioned with a blush upon his cheeks.

Konai seemed to press her body against Naruto's making his cheeks flush that more red with Naruto honestly liking the contact.

"The way he grabbed me and pulled me into his arms…I mean seriously Naruto knows how to entice a woman let me tell you and not to mention he is a good kisser."

"Naruto!" Sakura scolded.

"She's lying! Konai is teasing me again!"

Konai suddenly forcefully turns Naruto's form facing her face to face as she wore a mischievous smile upon her face and Naruto with a blank looks with wide eyes as her hands came to placing upon both sides of his face.

"Am I, U-zu-ma-ki?"

That is when it happened as both Sakura and Tenten watched with wide eyes and with small blushes upon their cheeks and not to mention it happening to Naruto again, but this time it was not by accident. Her lips captured Naruto's looking to be giving him a passionate kiss with Naruto even feeling her tongue against his messaging his. Naruto himself has a red blush upon his cheeks with his wide eyes slowly closing stopping halfway. From the look on Naruto's face he was ENJOYING it.

"This…feels…amazing."

Naruto just closed his eyes letting Konai continue to kiss him as he laid his hands gently upon her hips accepting it and as he did Konai's left hand came to placing down upon Naruto's right shoulder, and her right hand gently placed upon the back of his head bringing him closer, and that much deeper into the kiss.

"Hey!" Sakura scolded.

"Is Sakura jealous?" Sasuke questioned.

"And even Naruto is getting kissed by a hot girl! This is not happening!" Kiba yelled in his mind in horror.

Kabuto made a coughing sound to grab Konai's attention. Konai still holding Naruto removed her lips from Naruto's looking to Kabuto as Naruto's head seemed to hang back a little having a small smirk upon his face looking like he was in cloud seven.

"What do you want, Kabuto?"

"Konai perhaps you should let Naruto go so that he can report with his team of their mission to the Hokage."

"Hold on a second ok?"

As soon as she said that she returns to kissing Naruto again who thought the hell if she was just his friend or not even his girlfriend a kiss was a damn kiss and he WELCOMES it! He's not complaining as his eyes were closed again. Konai ended it seconds later slowly removing her lips from Naruto's leaving Naruto dazed leveling his face to look into hers.

"Me and Kabuto will see you after your appointment with the Hokage…especially me."

Konai removed her hands letting Naruto fall to his butt now just sitting there as Kabuto and Konai walked away with Naruto just keeping his eyes on Konai's retreating form with a happy dazed face.

"Sure…see you guys then."

Konai cooed bye Naruto over her right shoulder.

"So Konai what kind of teasing was that?" Kabuto asked.

"Did you see him complaining about it? Think of it as a special kind of teasing."

"Ok if you say so."

"What do you mean if you say so?"

"Oh nothing just wondering if maybe you really are crushing on Naruto and you're just using the teasing excuse as an excuse in itself just to kiss him."

"Hey!"

As the two were walking away Konai was chuckling to herself having done it to Naruto again. Once again she was messing with Naruto but also rewarding him at the same time. Suddenly Kakashi appeared behind him crouched rubbing Naruto's shoulders who continued to wear a face as he was on cloud nine.

"Alright Naruto now listen to me you have her and she wants you so when you see her again remember to flex your pe-,"

"Kakashi sensei that's enough I am sure Naruto feels very uncomfortable right now." Sakura scolded.

"Judging from the look of Naruto's face I would have to say otherwise." Sasuke said as he was suddenly crouched beside Naruto to Naruto's left poking a stick into Naruto's face that didn't flinch.

Suddenly Lee was beside Naruto's right on his knees with his hands together as if in prayer.

"Naruto Uzumaki, you have done it again! You have not only become strong but you have the amazing ability capturing the hearts of woman please take me on as your student and teach me!"

"Lee, if you want to learn how to win a woman's heart then I can teach you." Guy said aloud giving his smile and his awkward pose.

"Guy, if there is anyone that can teach one how to capture a woman's heart it is me. Besides everyone knows that in order to attract the ladies attention you need to be wearing a cool badass mask upon your face to keep their curiosity peeked and them guessing forcing them to want to know more about you. It is from this that they will become infatuated from you." Kakashi spoke confidently as if in a teaching manner.

"That's just stupid." Kurenai said.

"Yeah…I agree." Sakura complied.

"Same here." Tenten said nodding her head.

"Kakashi, you don't see me with you because of your mask now do you?" Kurenai asked.

"I don't know would you like to be?"

Suddenly Kakashi was slammed upon the top of his head by Kurenai who was now behind him.

"Ouch!"

"You're not my type."

Sasuke was now waving his hand in front of Naruto's face but Naruto did not react once.

"Is this perhaps some type of powerful genjutsu?" Sasuke questioned aloud.

Having enough of this scene Neji rolls his eyes making his leave and Tenten follows suit.

"Well it was nice meeting you all and sees you in the Chunin Exams!"

Suddenly hearing the words Chunin Exams the Uzumaki snaps out of it as he shakes his head making Sasuke, Kakashi, and Lee take a step back.

"Got to train!" Naruto said hopping to his feet.

"First to the Hokage." Kakashi reminded.

It was not long until Team 7 was within the offices of the Third at the Academy as all four of them stood before him as the old man sat comfortably behind his desk.

"Kakashi, I am glad you and your students made it back in one peace."

"Thank you and my deepest gratitude sending Kurenai and Guy, and right in the nick of time too."

"However I am curious to one thing."

"Yes Lord Third?"

"Knowing that the mission was not what it was to be why did you and the rest of the team continues on knowing of the danger?"

"We decided to proceed on with the mission as a unit, as a team, and as one. Naruto himself even added that Leaf ninja don't act in such a way."

The Third only gave a smile in response.

"Very well then I will leave it at that. The rest of you may go but Kakashi I would like for you to stay to share the full story with me."

"Of course Lord Third." Kakashi replied.

Kakashi gave them the go ahead to take their leave to have the rest of the day off and to rendezvous tomorrow at the bridge. As Naruto was making his way going about his own way he reminded himself that he had to get home and get his second pair of cloths seeing as his current rags were torn and ripped with small holes here and there. When Naruto exited the Academy he was not surprised to see Kabuto and Konai waiting for him.

"Naruto, we are both going to take you out for a treat. I would also offer for the rest of your team as well but they seem to have gone their separate ways rather quickly." Kabuto said.

"Well it's not surprising for Sasuke and knowing him he is most likely immediately resuming his training." Naruto replied.

"And of Sakura?"

"Maybe she is fuming in jealousy right about now of not having a boyfriend." Konai joked.

"By the way, Konai, what was that all about back there?"

"You seemed to be enjoying it. I'll be honest when I did that I didn't intend to kiss you that long but when YOU decided to go along with it I thought what the hell."

"So you were enjoying it?" Naruto asked with a smirk.

"I will admit it I was but you still need A LOT of work. Besides it was funny seeing their reactions like that especially that Kiba! Besides you know as well as I that it was nothing but a joke so don't take it so seriously but hey at least we both liked it."

"Next time give me a warning ok?"

"You didn't seem to care for one."

"Alright you two how about we get moving ok?"

"First I need to change my cloths if you guys don't mind."

"Then let us be on our way." Kabuto suggested.

As Naruto lead the way to his apartment through the streets of the Leaf village they were unaware that they were being shadowed and it was by none other than Kiba. Kiba peeks around the corner watching Naruto's back as he got further and further away. Too him it just did not seem possible for Naruto to be this strong as Naruto's squad mates claim for him to be and even their own teacher gave his two cents on his growth in strength.

"There's just no way can he be stronger than me and I am going to prove it!" Kiba said in a whisper.

A couple of minutes later Naruto exited out of his apartment door with a new pair of cloths on of the same outfit. Yes he had spares just in case.

"Ok so where too?"

"Any place of your choosing." Kabuto replied.

"Well let's see I like ramen."

"That can't be the only thing you eat." Konai said.

"Well no it's just my favorite food."

"I know another place that I think you would enjoy. Me and my sister go their often."

"Konoha Dango's am I right?" Kabuto asked.

"Oh yeah!"

"There dango's are really quite delicious." Naruto said.

"So dango's then?" Kabuto asked Naruto.

"Dango's it is!"

It was not long when they were at Konoha Dango's and both Kabuto and Konai were watching with wide eyes. They were watching Naruto eat dango after dango throwing each stick in the trash can filling it up near the top as Naruto was wearing a content smile on his face.

"Oh wow that's just not normal." Konai thought.

"My wallet is really going to get it." Kabuto thought crying tears on the inside.

"Wow those were good."

As Naruto and the group were walking away from the shop continued to being shadowed by Kiba it was then that Anko arrived at the shop. As the three were walking away they come to a halt when they hear a loud echo of a very upset woman…

"SOLD OUT!?"

"What was that?" Naruto asked his friends.

"No idea?" Kabuto replied.

"That sounded like Anko." Konai thought. "Ok boys I think we better move a litter faster."

"Why do you say that?" Naruto asked Konai.

Naruto suddenly found himself being forcefully pushed forward walking faster by Konai who was just right behind him.

"Just trust me on this one okay."

It was many minutes later that Naruto, Konai, and Kabuto were at the Academy Training Field where Naruto had his first official team gathering with Team Kabuto as an Advanced Genin. It may have not been long ago but still Naruto cherished that memory. Konai was standing upon the highest steps within the bleachers looking out into the distance sighting her older sister scurrying about like a mad dog out for revenge looking for the one who made the dango's become sold out.

"She won't think to look over here for us and judging by how she is randomly going from suspect to suspect from what I can tell I bet she didn't even bother asking the cook who it was that ate them all."

Kabuto in the meantime was at the bottom of the bleachers sitting as he watched Naruto who was within center of the field throwing some light punches and kicks, and eventually perform some flips just for fun. Naruto was just so full of energy and surprisingly to Kabuto talent. Kabuto from now on was going to scratch any previous data he had on Naruto and begin anew starting now. He needed to gather as much information on him as possible especially on his unique jutsu.

"Hey, Naruto, can I ask you a question?" Kabuto asked.

"Sure." Naruto answered as he continued his light training.

"That Kamehameha jutsu of your against Haku was just amazing. In fact I have never seen or heard of anything close to being like it. How do you do it? From what I gather it requires you to charge it but with what source of power do you use for it? From what I could sense that source of power you used for it was not like that of any normal Chakra."

Naruto stops in his movements wondering how to answer that question.

"You have a sharp eye." Naruto complimented aloud as he pondered how to answer.

"Well we are ninja we are deemed to have such."

"You know I am quite curious too, Naruto." Konai said as she sat down.

"Ok Naruto you have to tell another lie. If I told them about Ki then Master Zen would kill me."

"Naruto, are you ok?" Kabuto asked.

"Well you see how I do it you guys probably wouldn't believe me."

"Try us."

"You see to answer that question I have….uh….TWO sources of CHAKRA and it's with that second source only am I able to use that jutsu and others!" Naruto answered rather quickly lying to their faces.

"You have two!" Konai replied in surprise.

"Two source of Chakra that's unbelievable." Kabuto replied.

"Yeah I don't know where I got or how but I figure it's possibly through my family origins I am still trying to learn about."

"Oh so then that would mean you have a bloodline then."

"You think so." Naruto replied going with it.

"I have never heard of any clan having two different types of Chakra?" Konai questioned.

"Well Konai it could possibly originate even before out times. For instance in the era of the Clan Wars before any hidden villages founding as there were MANY clans back then that fought one another. Sure the hidden villages have these clans documented but did you know that to this day we still don't have all clans documented?"

"No I didn't know that."

"It's possible that Naruto has a curious bloodline that could date all the way back to that era."

"You think we can find out?"

"If the answer to Naruto's curious bloodline could be from within the Clan Wars era the chances of even finding the answer could be a million to one."

"So not any time soon."

"Seems like it…"

Naruto with his back turned to them gave out a silent sigh of relief.

"That was just too close. Maybe for the better I should play off the idea of having a bloodline."

"So then what could be said about the way he fired out those spheres energy from the palms of his hands, Kabuto?"

"Well the Huyga clan seems to have the capability to 'shoot' Chakra from the palms of their hands. Perhaps Naruto here found his own way to do the same thing."

Now Kabuto was no fool. He KNOWS about Naruto holding the Nine Tails sealed within him and knows that Human Sacrifices have the capability of using their Chakra. Naruto's normal Chakra and the Nine Tails if he so wished to use it would mean he had two sources of different types of Chakra. However when Naruto blasted his Kamehameha it did not feel like neither normal Chakra of demonic like the Nine Tails but felt entirely different in itself. That would mean Naruto really has THREE sources of Chakra and Kabuto knowing that Naruto was lying to them but why? What was so precious and must be kept secret from even his fellow Leaf ninja about this third source of Chakra?

"Is it even Chakra at all?"

"So it's with that source you are able to pull off those jutsu. Wow Naruto you are a genius in the making. Actually you may just be making history and spreading gossip."

"What do you mean by spreading gossip?" Naruto asked quickly already worried.

"Naruto, all the people of Wave mostly out of all of us thank you and see you as a hero. You returned the courage and hope and stories tend to spread. Naruto, even though no one was there on that bridge when you launched that jutsu of yours who's to know if there was a nearby bystander watching from a distance such as a local fisherman out in the waters, or perhaps another ninja from another village and nation."

"You mean spies!"

"Naruto, within this world, the Ninja World, they are everywhere. Who knows there may even be enemy ninja within our village as we speak? Could be your closest friend or even neighbor and they don't even have to be a ninja to begin with as they could be a simple citizen."

Oh if the two only knew there was one amongst them right now.

"Oh no what if what Konai says really does happen? What if I have ninja from left and right seek me out because of my exploits?"

"Speaking of other ninja's different ninja's from the other villages should be arriving any time soon." Konai mentioned.

"What are you talking about?" Naruto asked.

"Well Naruto for the Chunin Exams of course. The Chunin Exams allow ninja from the other hidden villages to participate for the chance to become Chunin and the Chunin Exams are being held here within the Leaf Village."

"And since they are held within the Leaf village those ninja will be able to stay in the village until the exams are over or at least their part has come to an end if they fail. I would know Naruto because this is going to be my seventh time participating." Kabuto said.

"Your seventh time is the exams really that tough?"

"They are and you shouldn't take it lightly. I'll be seeing you along with my Genin Squad."

"Konai, does that mean I will be seeing you as well?" Naruto asked.

"No you won't."

"Why not?"

"Naruto, I am a ninja on call so to speak. There is no squad for me to be placed in as of yet unless someone dies or is killed in action. However I am able to help the proctors in the exams but only with the small things like for example going about giving you a piece of paper. I won't be involved within the important functions of the Chunin Exams as that could be seen as cheating and I would know how everything goes, and know all the answers even though the exams tend to change time to time."

"Have you participated before?"

"I have…I was the only one that survived."

"…Survived?"

"Naruto, people can die in these exams."

"Holy hell then I really do need to get stronger before the exams start. I won't allow any of my comrades to die."

"Neji will be participating as well."

"Oh I thought as such Kabuto."

"I am sure you know as to not underestimate him."

"Oh don't worry I intend to beat him because I am a lot stronger now and once I defeat him in combat a new Genin of Genin's will be crowned!"

"You sound very confident."

"I am but don't worry I won't underestimate him."

"Naruto?"

They all turned to the familiar voice seeing Sakura along with Sasuke barely arriving.

"Sakura, Sasuke, what are you guys doing here?"

"Well Sasuke intended to get some training in here as well."

"Seriously I always thought you would go to the other training fields outside the village, Sasuke."

"I'm not that emo, Naruto."

"Hold on a second? Did you just make a joke?"

Suddenly another arrival appears and it was Kiba along with his big dog companion Akamaru.

"Oh...Hey Kiba what brings you here in the neck of the woods?" Naruto asked in that irritated tone.

"Did you already forget?"

"Forget what?"

"You heard me back in Wave, Naruto! I challenge you!" Kiba announced pointing at Naruto.

"Huh!"

"You heard me! Naruto, I challenge you right here and now!"

"Kiba, just what brought this up all of a sudden?"

"The way that kid and the rest of your squad bragged about how you were able to stand up against Zabuza, defeated some Gato's best mercenaries and the Demon Brothers, and even defeated his subordinate who was said be more dangerous than Zabuza and the Demon Brothers themselves. Let me tell you something I don't care what they said because there is absolutely NO WAY you could have become that strong. That would imply you are stronger than even Sasuke…and me."

"Hey you're the one implying that not me."

"How does someone like you the Class Clown taking down Missing Ninja left and right?"

"Well it's not my fault I better myself every day."

"I demand you prove it." Kiba demands to form a smirk. "And you could do that if you can beat me that is."

"Kiba, you're an idiot. There is no way you can beat Naruto." Sasuke suddenly said.

"What the hell is this coming from some like you? Even you yourself back then didn't see Naruto as much."

"Things change Kiba and let's say he has earned my respect. I am not admitting he is stronger than me I am admitting that Naruto has become stronger through his progress and let me tell you Kiba you will lose. Save yourself the embarrassment and take your jealousy somewhere else."

"I am not jealous! No! Naruto, fight me right here and NOW!"

"I don't need to-,"

"Give him what he wants."

"Huh?" Naruto said looking at Sasuke.

"If he wants to see how badly he has been surpassed you might as well show him to make him see the truth."

"I'd rather be spending my time training."

"Or you're just trying to escape a losing battle." Kiba taunted.

"Oh it's not that it's just that this is a waste of time when I should really be preparing myself for the Chunin Exams. Besides didn't we come to some agreement back in Wave we would settle this somehow within the exams?"

"Don't care we are doing this now."

"Naruto, go ahead."

Naruto looked to Kabuto.

"But…?"

"Don't worry if things look like they are being taken too far I will step in."

Naruto was silent as both Sasuke and Sakura moved back near the bleachers Kabuto and Konai were sitting in while Kiba was readying himself across from Naruto. Kiba then looked to Akamaru next to him…

"Akamaru I want you to stay out of this one okay? This is between him and me."

Akamaru gave a nod and walked near the bleachers sitting near them as Kiba narrows his sights upon Naruto who only gives him a serious look. Kiba has never seen Naruto wear a serious face like that before.

"Kiba, I am going to give you one chance to back down." Naruto offered.

"I should be asking you that you idiot."

"I'm not going to go all out on him. I don't want to get in trouble here and have some other Leaf ninja jump in sending us both to the old man Hokage. Kiba is a Leaf ninja and not to mention we are inside the village and yet he was to fight me seriously without Akamaru. He really is an overconfident one."

"LET'S GO!"

Kiba leaped toward Naruto who just stood his ground not even bothering to bring up his guard. When Kiba finally struck at him with his sharp nails Naruto merely evades his strikes panning his head or form left and right as he backs up calmly with Kiba coming forward at the same time.

"Look at that he can't even land a hit on Naruto." Sasuke said watching with active Sharingan eyes.

Naruto leaps back with his arms down as Kiba leaped after him not intending on letting him get away.

"Running away you coward!"

Before Kiba's fist can even attempt to throw the punch Naruto had used the Body Flicker vanishing from Kiba's sight. Kiba lands looking around for Naruto wondering where he went as well as having noticed that Naruto did not even show a hand sign when using the Body Flicker to which Kiba didn't think was possible. Really you learned this at the academy so Kiba must have either missed that class or was asleep it was one or the other.

"Over here, Kiba!" Naruto called out to.

Kiba looked in the direction seeing Naruto standing where he originally stood with his arms crossed over his chest and Naruto giving him a barely noticeable smile.

"Wipe that smile off your face you are only getting lucky!"

Kiba once again leaped toward Naruto throwing a punch but this time it was not through a jutsu Naruto moved with his pure speed alone because Kiba freezes when he feels the back of Naruto's right fist tap the left side of his face from behind, and there Naruto was standing behind him holding his fist close to Kiba's face. Naruto had actually for that one moment went all out in his speed but if he were in his Aura Spark it would have been much faster.

"Could've been your head…" Naruto joked and taunted.

Kiba who had a face of shock then begins to growl as he looks over his shoulder at the calm Naruto.

"Dodge this!"

Kiba punches at Naruto only to suddenly be pushed off his feet by Naruto from behind him again who used both hands watching as Kiba falls front first upon the ground. Kiba rolls himself back up to his feet angrily facing Naruto once again who lowers his arms to placing his hands upon his hips.

"Kiba, just walk away already, go train and get stronger."

"You damned!"

Kiba rushed Naruto once again who was once again backing away but this time he was blocking all of Kiba's punches, kicks, and slashes with his hands and arms. When Kiba threw a left punch Naruto simply blocked it with the palm of his right hand and then slowly grasped his fingers around Kiba's fist angering him more. Kiba kicks his right foot upward to Naruto's head only for the Uzumaki to bring up his left forearm blocking the leg as he let go of Kiba's fist at the same time, and when he released Kiba he went into another flurry of slashes with his nails upon Naruto. However Naruto just kept evading them leaping back and away or on occasion motioning his body to his left or right in evasion. When Kiba threw a fist forward Naruto ducked under it to leaping over Kiba's head as if he were playing a game of leap frog infuriating Kiba even more, and when Kiba came turning around to attack he did not even get the chance to rear back a strike as Naruto had his Hidden Kunai to his neck. Kiba just looked in shock as Naruto gave him a blank stare and when Kiba snaps out of it he takes a leap back and away from Naruto putting distance between him and the Advanced Genin.

"No way how could I have not landed a single strike on him and how is he so fast? I have never seen anyone that can move like that!" Kiba wondered as he growled at Naruto.

Naruto sheathed his kunai behind him where it belonged crossing his arms over his chest once again giving Kiba a small smile.

"There is no way I am going to lose to the Class Clown!"

"You don't have to lose here. You can just leave and go get stronger, and then face me in the Chunin Exams."

"Shut up and-," Kiba sprinted toward Naruto who stood his ground "fight back you COWARD!"

Naruto narrowed his eyes as he uncurled his arms and when Kiba reached striking distance he fakes a punch to kicking one of his legs over the ground in an attempt to knock Naruto off his feet. Note the word attempt. Naruto leaped up and delivers his right foot across the left side of Kiba's face or rather to his jaw sending the ninja off his feet as blood came spitting out of his mouth at the same time. Kiba hits the ground rolling into a tumble coming to a stop seconds later and that is when Kabuto stood up as Akamaru sprints to his master's side.

"Alright that's it this goes no further." Kabuto proclaimed.

Kiba in the meantime was back up on his knees holding one hand to his mouth and blood was stained on his hand along with some leaking out the corner of his mouth. The strength behind that kick and here he was already down. Kiba quickly stood back up turning around rushing Naruto as he yelled aloud.

"It's not over yet!"

"Kiba, I said STOP!" Kabuto yelled pursuing after him.

Naruto once again stood his ground with narrowed eyes on Kiba and when Kiba neared striking distance once again he was surprised feeling an arm wrap around his neck from behind, and it wasn't from Naruto. It was from Kabuto having already caught up to him this quickly that it peeked even Naruto's interest as Kabuto flips him up and over slamming Kiba front first into the ground twisting one of Kiba's arms behind his back, and Kabuto using the other hand to hold Kiba's arm to the ground.

"I said that was enough!"

"Not until I beat him now get the hell off of me!"

"Oh then perhaps I should continue to restrain you while I have Konai report this to your sensei or how about the Hokage himself? Or rather should I have her get your mother?"

Kiba's eyes widen at the mention of his mother. The Hokage would give him a lecture or some other form of punishment but his mother was one he did not want to get in trouble with and not to mention she was their clans head.

"Now I am going to release you, heal your wounds, and forget that this even happened do you understand me?"

Kiba growled but eventually he answered with a yeah.

"Good."

Kabuto removes his hold letting Kiba stand back up just glaring at Naruto as Kabuto quickly healed his wound and noticing Kiba's glare Kabuto steps in blocking Kiba's gaze upon Naruto with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Now you may leave and take Naruto's advice to prepare for the upcoming Chunin Exams."

Kiba growls…

"Go or am I going to have to take what I just promised."

Kiba snarls walking away calling to Akamaru to follow him as everyone watched Kiba leave until he was out of sight.

"With just one kick…Either Kiba has been slacking or Naruto has become too strong for him." Sasuke thought.

"Well done Naruto!" Konai said aloud clapping.

"Thanks for jumping in Kabuto I really didn't want it to go any further."

"It's not a problem but don't you think you put a bit much into that kick of yours, Naruto?"

"Sorry he honestly got to me."

"It happens to all of us but next time keeps a cool head ok?"

"Alright."

"Well I and Konai are going to be off so we will see you at the Chunin Exams."

"If Kakashi sensei approves us."

"Oh don't worry I am pretty sure he will."

"See you next time Naruto!" Konai said aloud before Body Flickering away.

"Later." Kabuto says doing the exact same thing.

Now Naruto was left alone with both Sasuke and Sakura.

"Are you going to get some training in here?" Sasuke asked.

"Nope I prefer training alone. No offence but I can't have you learning any of my new tricks until we have our rematch." Naruto said with a smirk.

"You got a point. I won't be risking others watching my training here." Sasuke replied giving a smirk of his own.

"So then you are going back to the Uchiha District…alone?" Sakura asked.

"…..Yeah."

"Sasuke, I know and understand about what happened to your clan but not the pain you are going through but don't you think you should be training somewhere else other than inside the Uchiha District all by yourself?" Naruto asked.

"Naruto has a point it's not healthy, Sasuke." Sakura said agreeing with Naruto.

"Thanks for worrying but don't worry I'll be fine. Like Naruto I am used to being alone…"

Sasuke turned around casually walking away.

"I'll see the two of you tomorrow."

"Stay safe, Sasuke!" Sakura said aloud getting a wave from the Uchiha.

"And you better get stronger!" Naruto said aloud.

"Oh don't worry I intend too!" Sasuke replied vanishing with a Body Flicker.

"Naruto, can I ask you something?"

"Sure what is it, Sakura?"

"How is it you and Sasuke are connecting so well with one another? I mean from what I remember you and him used to be at one another's throats within the academy but here you two seem to be the best of friends, and not to mention your coordination as a team."

"Let's just say we came to an understanding about one another but he has had the better life."

"You never had any parents…?"

"…..No."

"I'm sorry that was not my place."

"It's ok don't worry about it."

"Oh yeah I've been meaning to ask you another thing that just came to mind."

"And that is?"

"So are you and Konai a thing now?"

"Oh that!"

Naruto blushed rather lightly remembering the kiss.

"Careful there Naruto you look like you are about to pass out." Sakura said with sarcasm.

"Sorry she was just….well she was good."

"A good kisser you mean?"

"Yeah but it was all just a joke."

"Some joke then huh?"

"Hold a second…"

"What…?"

"Sakura, were you jealous?" Naruto asked growling a grin.

"What! No I wasn't jealous!"

"Sakura, if you liked me that much you could ha-,"

BONK!

Naruto whined as he had both his hands upon the top of his head as he was not sitting upon the ground having suffered a smack from Sakura.

"Hey what was that for?"

"First of all Naruto I was not jealous…just a little concerned is all."

"Concerned about what?"

"Well she just kissed you out of nowhere in the blue and you call that a joke."

"If you like her joking around wait until you meet her sister."

"What did you say?"

"Nothing!" Naruto said rather quickly standing himself back up. "Anyway I am going to get going and resume my training for the rest of the day."

"Naruto, didn't you say you were going to relax upon returning?"

"Yeah I did but I guess I can't help myself. I need to get stronger. Stronger than I can ever be."

"You know what I should start doing the same as well and continue my studies for my medical ninjutsu."

"I'll see you later then."

Naruto ran off on foot leaving behind a smiling Sakura heading off to continue his training and his preparation for the Chunin Exams.

"Naruto, you never cease to amaze do you?"

The Advent91: I know there are questions on your head right now such as that kissing scene that Konai forced upon Naruto who just rolled with it enjoying it. He's a guy and although Konai is a friend a kiss is still a kiss and Naruto is going to enjoy it. They are still friends and all and Konai jerks Naruto and others around in her own way so this does not confirm a pairing. Anyway I hope you all enjoyed this and see you next time.
