"Sam!" She cries. He turns around. She can't say he looks happy to see her.
(He isn't.)
"What do you want, Leah?"
She runs up to him.
She doesn't hesitate. That's not who she is.
She puts her arms around him.
Kisses him.
(He still tastes the same.)
When she pulls away, she whispers,
"You can't tell me you didn't feel anything."
He looks her in the eyes.
"No. I didn't."
(He lies.
