Chapter 25
Beginning of the end
The castle was so dull. A wave of tension mixed with another of shock and a third of grief was floating around the huge building, and the whole kingdom for what it matters. People may have had trust issues with their late King, but that was just recently. So far, he has been a good ruler. So, even those against him and wanted him to step down, were shocked and sad when they heard the news of him falling dead with a built from King Paul himself.
They didn't know what to expect now, it was already not stable, and now, it seems like they are exposed. They also heard a rumor that Liam, the head of their army is also gone, rumor has it he's dead, and another rumor said he's a traitor and another one said he was fired by Princess Demi when she came back with Prince Joe – making her the traitor.
As for the royal family itself, well, their faces haven't dried yet. The three women were left grieving their man alone in the large nearly empty castle. The King's body was taken in a room where they would lay him safe and sound; and let him get prepared for his last ceremony ever.
The widowed Queen, her two daughters, Princess Taylor and Prince Harry were setting at the meeting hall surrounding the large table in there and nobody dared to sit at the head of the table – the King's chair.
"We must discuss what happened and what is going to happen next." Queen Tricia said pulling out her strongest voice, "Princess Taylor, Prince Harry, we are so thankful and glad for having you as our allies and your continuous support."
"It's my honor to be here, Queen. And you have been such generous hosts so this is literally the least I can do." Harry said.
"You know I am always there for you, I basically grew up here." Taylor told her not hiding her sad emotions.
The Queen nodded, "Well, was that being said, let's start the discussion."
"What's there to discuss? Dad is dead. The King is dead. Demi is back, so, apparently, we have our queen back." Miley spat rather bitterly.
"Destiny!" Her mother said warningly.
"What? Isn't it true?! Everybody wanted the King gone, and well, he is really gone now. Demi is made for this job and people love her, let alone trust her. There is no problem now, everything is just taking it's natural course."
"It's not that simple and you know it." She glared at her.
"So, what? You want to be in charge now?"
"Destiny!" she warned again with her voice raised.
"It's not like there's any strangers, mothers, you can just-"
"Enough!" Queen Tricia yelled banging her hands on the table while glaring furiously at her younger daughter. "Things will take the path your father wanted."
"What do you mean?" Miley asked knitting her eyebrows together while Taylor and Harry just sat there awkwardly watching the cat fight between the mother and her daughter, both hurt and dealing with the pain differently. As for Demi she sat beside her sister, face between her hands silently crying and trying to focus.
"It's clear. You are to be Queen, and marry Liam as your King."
Miley let out a laugh, "This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard."
"Watch it, Miley! Just because your father isn't here anymore you're going to go around unleashing your mouth and behaviors!"
"No, no, you watch it, watch where you're going with this, mother. You know it's stupid."
Before she got to reply, Harry cleared his throat drawing the attention towards him, "I'm sorry, your majesty, but, we need to put into consideration the reason why King Robbie wanted Miley to be Queen in the first place."
"Where are you going with this?"
"I mean that, Demi was originally the one to become a Queen, and she was fully prepared for this, while Miley never did, she was just a fill in and a cover face while the King was still in charge in fact."
"Prince Harry, I hope your words aren't in favor of Demi just because you were supposed to marry her."
"No, no, your majesty. I'm just thinking of the best as a neutral party."
Silence fell for a while as the Queen seemed to be thinking deeply. She then looked at the elder daughter with a look that didn't lack bitterness, "What do you think Demetria?"
Demi slowly wiped her hands from her face and looked at her mother with red-shot eyes but she made it seem as if she was as strong as ever. "Miley is not ready, mom."
"Oh, and you are?"
"Yes, I am."
"I suppose you don't expect to just come back and find your throne waiting for you, do you?"
"You make it sound like a prize!"
"It indeed is."
"Maybe for you." Miley spat.
"Shut up, Miley."
"No, I'm not shutting up, and I don't see a point in this meeting anyway. It doesn't matter what you want or think, mom. Don't you get it? It is in our hands now." She said pointing between herself and her sister, "And we both agree that Demi take the freaking crown."
"I'm still the Queen, if you didn't forget, so yeah the matter is still in my hands."
"Technically, but not to the people!"
"Mom!" Demi snapped, "What are you fighting against? Miley neither want to nor is ready. It's a lost case."
She took a deep breath and looked ahead of her, "Demi doesn't have a King." She said so calmly and then looked at Harry, "Unless of course…"
Taylor looked alarmed and Harry's eyes widened, while Demi rolled her eyes,
"I'm married." She announced.
All heads snapped her way in utter and complete surprise, but with different reactions, her mother for once looked horrified with big eyes and slightly opened mouth. Her sister actually smiled although it pained her she wasn't there when it happened. Taylor and Harry, well, they were neutral, and both of them were the left-behinds as a result of this newly wedded couple, but, they were okay with it, in fact, if it wasn't for this, there would have never been that mutual attraction between them.
"What?!" her mother uttered.
"Yeah, we got married. Me and Joe. And as you know, we are expecting a baby."
"Like hell you are going to take over. Over my dead body!"
"Relax, mom. He doesn't want my precious kingdom."
"Oh, and I shall believe it just because you said so."
"Yes, you should." Miley said, "For once just be the mother you're supposed to be."
"I've had enough of you, young lady!" Tricia said firmly then directed her words to Demi once again, "You want the Kingdom, you leave him, got it?"
"No! Joe is going to stay. And he will not interfere in the ruling process. He is not interested in any kind of positions now. All her cares about is his new family."
"Not going to happen!"
"Time to vote." Miley announced getting tired of this meaningless meeting, "Who agrees with Demi being the Queen?" she said raising her own hand and Demi followed quickly followed by Taylor and then a hesitant Harry.
"Case closed, mother." Miley smirked standing up to leave.
"Wait!" Tricia said as a last hope, "This vote isn't valid, we shouldn't take Taylor and Harry in account, and we have to actually consider Liam's."
"Oh, haven't you heard? I fired him. So, yeah, it would still be two against you."
"Fired him? Why?"
"Because he's an ass." Miley said and left the place.
The Queen followed almost directly due to feeling humiliated enough.
Well, just more tension…
XxXx
On the contrary of Demetriana Kingdom, on the other side of the island, in another meeting chamber, King Paul was drinking to the death of his mortal enemy.
He gathered his family and ordered the bottle of wine he saved for this specific event. It didn't matter to him that none of his attendants were as enthusiastic as he was, not even happy! It was like he was determined to enjoy and celebrate no matter what.
However, it didn't count on his son's return to blow his bubble of happiness.
Just as he was pouring wine himself for his wife and himself and passing it over to Kevin, he heard someone clearing their throat. He looked up and froze in his place.
The wide smile quickly vanished as he stared at his middle son covered in blood and dirt and mixed with his own sweet. He looked a mess, his brothers did too and slightly Paul himself, but Joe was the messiest ever.
"Joseph!" His mother cried passionately as she ran his way engulfing him in her arms tightly despite his appearance.
"What are you doing here?" Paul put down his glass and stood up straight glaring at Joe, "You are no longer welcomed here."
"Paul, stop it, please." Denise said as she pulled away from him and put her hands on both his cheeks lovingly with a smile, "Are you okay, dear? God, I missed you."
"I'm fine." Joe nodded and then looked at his father with rage, and only at this moment did his mother notice the crazed angry look in her son's eyes, it has been there since he walked in, but she was just blinded by her happiness of seeing him once again. "You. What have you done?"
"Joe!" Nick stood up warningly walking his way. He was alarmed and so was Kevin, but Nick actually feared that Joe would ruin his plans by this. Nick needed his father to trust them at the current time in order for him to get the chance and actually fix things, politically and personally actually. How? He was working on that, but he was as sure as hell that he wouldn't be able to do anything unless he was enlightened by his father's moves and plans.
"Oh, so now I'm the bad guy?" Paul raised an angry eyebrow at Joe.
"Even you can't be that low. You killed the man! You actually attacked at a wedding and killed the King!" Joe roared with wide angry flaring eyes.
"Joe, calm down and let's go talk somewhere else."
"Yes, Joseph, I did. And if I haven't, I would be the one dead now."
"No, you wouldn't. You played it unfair, dad. You know he wasn't even prepared for a war, let alone a surprise attack."
Paul formed a thin line with his lips expressing disappointment, "Such a shame, and to think I was making you the King." He shook his head.
"Paul, please, stop this." Denise begged touching her son's arm to calm him down.
"Why are you here, Joe?"
"My son came here for us, didn't you? He's back, Paul. And we are happy about it." Denise tried in vain to absorb the tension.
"Are you here to take your throne back?"
"I'm not interested in your stupid chair."
Both father and son ignored her words as if they never came and continued on with their fight,
"So, you just came to tell me your newly developed opinion about me then?"
"No, dad," Joe let go of the yelling and stepped closer to him with a sarcastic smile, "I came to tell you something else. You know, it may have been Deniesliene versus Demetriana for a long time now, but, it wasn't always that way, and I grant you, dad that it also won't be for so long now."
"And who's gonna change that? You?"
"In fact I will. I'm a married man now. And my wife is pregnant, and this child is the result of merging the two kingdoms together, so I will make sure that by the time he's here they are really merged." Joe said with a smirk enjoying the shocked look on his father's face.
It wasn't just his father though, his mother also was shocked, she didn't know if that should make her happy or worried, if she should feel good her son found love and acted upon it and took the responsibility of marriage, or hate the fact that she wasn't there for him, or actually worry that her unstoppable husband might ruin it all for him.
Nick was proud. Despite all the events that had gone wrong that day, he was proud of his brother, for once because he actually married Demi, and secondly for the fact that he is threatening his father's crown with zero hesitation. Nick has never seen his brother this responsible, this fearless. Joe has become a family guy. He's fighting for the protection of his new small family.
As for Kevin, he just knew trouble was on the way. Disasters even. And it will be soon that he will sure have to pick sides, because there's no way this will go away from one battle.
Joe was leaving the room when he stopped and turned around one more time, "Oh, and in case it wasn't clear, my wife is Demi, whose father you just killed."
With that he left. Nick didn't hesitate to run after him. Kevin collapsed in his seat tired thinking about what just happened. Denise on the other hand was at war with herself, she repeatedly looked between her husband and the way her sons went, not knowing where to land, but eventually, she realized she was done letting them down and picking her husband over them, so she ran after them.
"Joseph! Boys, wait!" she called after them as she caught up with them right in front of the big door of the building. They stopped and looked at her apparently cutting of a serious conversation, "Where are you going?"
"You didn't expect me to stay here, mom, did you?" Joe rolled his eyes.
"No, but, where are you going now?"
"To my wife's. She needs me."
Denise just stared at him with tears welling up in her eyes; she couldn't believe how things have changed so fast. She's looking at her son now as he's telling her he's going to support his wife in the death of her father. She can't believe Joe is married even. To Demi of all people.
"Joe, I missed you."
He looked away sighing, "I had to leave, mom."
"You really love her, don't you?"
"Yeah, I really do." He said with a smile he couldn't hide.
She nodded and fought the tears with a smile as she let out a chocked laugh, "When did that even happen?"
"It's a long story, mom."
"Okay, I understand, you need to go." She shook her head but couldn't hide the disappointment.
"Yeah, I do."
"Let's go, bro." Nick said. Nick wasn't comfortable with this new version of his mother; he didn't buy it. Yeah, maybe she's actually starting to feel guilty, but he can't get over the fact that it's a little too late.
"Nick," his mother called once again as they began walking again, and when he looked at her she opened her mouth trying to look for words, "Are you… are you um… going with him?" she originally wanted to ask if he's mad at her or probably hate her, but she feared the answer.
"Yes, I am."
"So, so, you are not coming back?" she blinked the tears.
"I don't know…"
"But, Nick, he has a wife there, what do you have?" she swallowed hard.
"A possible future."
XxXx
"Why in the hell would you tell them to attack, Nick?" Joe yelled furiously at his brother as he pulled his horse in front of his to stop and talk about this new piece of information Nick just told him.
"It was all under control, man. Everything was, the soldiers had strict orders to not kill, just scare off. It was a win-win. Stop the ceremony, scare Robbie off and make some progress. Everything was under control, except for dad."
"No, no, it was never a win-win. It's obviously a win-lose situation, Nick. Where you are the only winner."
"What? Of course not-"
"Yes, it is. You get to stop the wedding, you take credit for the idea in front of dad, and you get to be the hero who saved your beloved miserable bride."
"How dare you?! You know very well I don't care about dad. All I care about is-"
"Is Miley. Or to be more correct, your future with Miley." Joe cut him off then took a deep breath to calm down when he saw the hurt expression on his brother's face. "Look, I know you love her, and I know you have been fighting love for as long as you lived, and I know you want it to work, but, this is not the way, man."
Nick looked down, "I screwed up a lot, okay?" He said with a deep trembling voice, "All I wanted was to put a stop to it. I thought if we did it at this time, there will be fewer losses than actually going through a war. Joe, I had it all covered. No life losses, just a few scary shots here and there. It was a show, and it got the wedding to stop. I thought this was going to satisfy dad and scare off Robbie, that way they would both lay off a bit… but it backfired. I didn't know dad would go that far."
"I understand, brother." Joe sighed, "Listen, it's not a good idea to tell Miley now that this was your idea to attack."
"I have a feeling she already knows."
"How would she?"
"How do you think?" he replied hatefully.
"Liam." Joe stated as a matter of fact. "Let's just get there and see what happens."
As soon as they reached the outer gate, the soldiers pointed their weapons at them, and they dared them to get any nearer or even stay. It took some time for Joe to convince them to get the Princess permission.
Soon, Demi was hurrying their way, she set the guards straight that those specific two Deniesliene Princes are allowed any time, and that in fact, Joe is staying inside the castle. As confused as the guards were, but they couldn't say anything.
"Everything fine?" Demi asked Joe as he hopped off his horse and took her in a much needed hug.
"It's going to be."
"I'm sorry for… what happened." Nick told Demi who nodded with a pale smile.
"Come on, let's get in and talk."
Demi led the way to the meeting room where they had been sitting ever since her mother stormed off. Miley came back and both sisters have been discussing all the details since then.
"What is he doing here?" Miley exclaimed as soon as she saw Nick entering the room. Demi frowned in confusion as she looked between them.
"Miley it-" Nick tried taking his way over to her.
"How dare you step inside this castle? It's all so clear to me, now, Nick. You have been playing with us all along."
"What? No! It's not like that… look I don't know what he told you, but it's obviously lies, You have to believe me, I-"
"Believe you? When did that ever do me good? Huh? When you was claiming there's no such thing as love? Or when you told me you're in love with someone else? Or… or when you said you take it all back and that now you love me instead. Oh, or maybe when you said it's going to be okay? Or when you went bashing Liam and saying how bad he is… well, it's you I should have been cautious from, Nick."
"Miley, I meant everything I said. You know it, and you believed me, so deep down you must still believe me."
"Fine. I will believe you, Nick."
"Really?"
"Did you or did you not plan the attack?"
"I…"
And right then he was attacked by her, hitting and slapping him wherever she could reach, "YOU KILLED MY FATHER!"
"Miley, calm down." Demi and Taylor tried to take her off of Nick.
"I didn't, Miley, you have to understand. I love you, I would never-"
"I HATE YOU!"
He could have never imagined how this short sentence could hurt that much, and now that he actually felt it, he couldn't even begin to describe the pain. It was like his soul was dying as the words repeated over and over in his head.
"Get out. I don't want to ever see you again but in the battle, Nicolas. You will pay for this." She cried both her face and voice filled with tears.
And there he still stood stunned. He felt hazy, as if the train of his own thoughts hit him. It was all blurry, but he followed her with his eyes as Demi and Taylor took her sobbing -and screaming - self out of the room.
What was happening? Moreover, why is it happening now?
"You should go now." Joe touched his shoulder as he looked at him still trying to digest the situation. "She's just, hurt, Nick, she just lost her father, so, I wouldn't read too much into it."
Nick nodded although he wasn't convinced at all. And just like that he left, with no words.
He took off on his horse running through the woods as he let the tears free. Angry hurt tears. So, he spends his whole life denying the existence of love, or –now that he understands- needing love. Yes, his whole 'love doesn't exist' motto was an escapism routine. Because he feared to get hurt, as a kid he loved his mother and she terribly let him down, he loved his father and he treated him as if he is just a plus one. He tried liking girls, but it was all because he is Prince Nicolas no one has even took the chance to know him.
He feared love.
But at the same time, he loved love!
And then, she came along. She was something he couldn't just not get attracted to. He knows he has been attracted to her from the very first start. He has never been attracted to Demi. In fact, he tried making at about Demi, because he knew he would just get over it because she was his brother's from the beginning. So, he grabbed the one thing he could love about her; the letters, and even that, turned out to be Miley.
It was everything about her; her cute self, girly ambition, her hair, her dreamy self, her strength, straightforwardness, kindness… herself.
And so, he had to cave in and admit it. He loves her. He wanted to talk to her, know her, spend time with her, look at her.
He wanted to tell her about his fears, and share his struggles with her…
He wanted to tell her how much he waited for her, how much he needed her there to give him hope… something he would wake up for…
He wanted her to hold him when he's feeling down, and for him to protect her from… everything…
He wanted to tell her she's beautiful, that he feels lucky to have her by his side, that she was worth the wait, that she is the only thing that happened and will happen to him… that he feared her, yet needed her.
When it was finally out, and she said it back, he felt that his life could actually be meaningful after all, that it was possible for good things to happen to him…
But, now, she hates him.
He blew it.
Or, no, actually he didn't… he was trying to do the right thing, it's his selfish, greedy heartless father who ruined everything.
He screamed at the thought.
He roared through the forest, and his horse joined him as he ran fast.
It always come back to Paul. Paul is the main reason of his misery, it's like he finds everything to make him a loner and do it.
Now, even Joe has his own family to be with, and it just happens to be her and her sister.
He has no one. Absolutely no one.
He always had only Joe, he could count on him and talk to him and he would always find him when he needed him. But, God knows there hasn't been a time that he needed him more than now.
But, he understands, yes, he does, he needs to be with Demi… and Miley.
Actually he doesn't understand it, nor accept it.
He stopped and quickly jumped off the horse when he reached the inside of the castle. He skipped his steps with rage radiating from his tear filled face,
"PAUL!" his voice echoed through the castle as everybody jumped alarmed.
He skipped the stairs to his parents room and barged in to find his father standing up facing him as if waiting for him,
"Nicolas…" his mother whispered from behind him as worry took over her one again at the sight of her youngest son.
"What now?" Paul said in boredom.
Nick took two fistfuls of his clothes and brought his face near his, "My whole life you have been treating me like crap, and I was so childishly waiting for your approval of me, but you have been busy training your other two as if they're your dogs, until I just stopped caring, about everything… but not this time, Paul. This time you're missing with the only thing I care about… so, no, I will not let you be the reason of my misery anymore, do you understand?" By the time he reached this point, he was screaming from the top of his lungs as tears fill like waterfalls from his eyes.
Paul waited until he was done and grabbed his hands twisted them and threw him on the nearest chair holding him still, "If you really wanted my approval, you would have known I don't approve the weak ones…" he said so calmly.
Nick twisted his arm around and quickly turned to punch him in the face causing him to fall on the ground, "I was never weak, you just didn't take the time to know that."
Paul stood up swiftly pulling his gun and sticking it under Nick's chin.
"Paul, No!" Denise screamed as she pushed her way between them.
"It's better for you to kill me, Paul. Because I'm not going to let you live. I will not lose her because of you, Paul. If I have to kill you I will, but I grant you that your end is near and it's going to be me." Nick started screaming again despite his mother attempts to push him back and stop him.
"Two sons threatening me on one day. Impressive. Tame your son, Denise, and tell him that I will squish them like a grape. I have got important stuff to deal with." Paul said calmly as he put his gun back and left the room
"This is not like Joe's threat, Paul. I will kill you! Do you hear me? Joe has something to lose, I don't. I will kill you, Paul." He sobbed after him.
"Nick, stop, calm down, please." Denise cried and managed to pull him between her arms as they both fell to the ground while he cried in her embrace. She kept kissing his head and rubbing his back and head while whispering for him to calm down through her tears.
"I love her, mom." He said through his sobs and tears.
"It's going to be fine, dear."
"She hates me now, but I really love her."
"Calm down, honey."
"I don't want to lose her. I just found her."
"Oh my God!" Denise cried harder; when did this happen? When did she lose track of her own boys like this? She is like a total stranger to them. There's so much that she has missed on in their lives!
She kept rocking him back and forth while both crying, "Um, son?" she swallowed her tears and managed to find her voice, "why don't you calm down and we can talk about this girl… and I promise you I will stand by your side no matter what, sweetheart."
It was like a reality check to him, he pulled away from her and wiped his face standing up, "Um, no, I should go."
"What? Where are you going?"
"I don't know, but I can't be here." He was already leaving and she was left chasing after him trying to convince him to open up to her.
"I can't let you leave like this, Nick. Talk to me. Please?"
"Mom, I appreciate it, but I can't."
"Why? Why can't you?"
"Just because, mom! We never had this relationship, okay? I shouldn't have said anything anyway."
And with that, he left his mother once again as confused and hurt as ever… wanting to know more, to be more involved.
Connecting some dots together, Queen Denise turned around left and found Jacob, "Where is the girl that came asking for Nick the other day?"
"Um, Selena? She's uh… the King found out about her and she's imprisoned in a room." Jacob said with a mixture of sadness and worry at the same time, he knew the King did this so she wouldn't go and warn her real friends about anything, but he also knew that this room might e the safest place for her right now.
"Get her and follow me. Nick's room." she ordered.
"But-"
"No buts. And the King doesn't find out about this. Go."
She wants answers and she will get them. And wither they like it or not, she will help her sons, even if it meant destroying her husband.
XxXx
Next day, afternoon, Demi and Miley stood at the balcony of city hall building looking down at majority of their citizens. It was time for answering their questions. The people were relieved just a little to see the two sisters and not the Queen, they just had to wait and see what they have in store for them…
"Good afternoon, Demetriana!" Demi started, "Yesterday, we faced the tragic death of my father, the King. It was a scare-attack. No other losses were found. However, this one was a huge grief loss. As you know, he was already going to step down, first to me and when I left it was my sister who was supposed to take the crown. And I must assure you that my departure was a must due to some personal issues despite of what you might have been told. But now, I'm back for you."
A round of cheers erupted as people welcomed her.
"We discussed it, and we came to the conclusion that I will be your new Queen." She continued and another round of cheers took place, only louder. "However, there are some things you need to know, because the relationship between a ruler and their people is depending on mutual trust… I have my part covered and I trust you to support me and stand by me in the face of the unmerciful attacks. We will win. And winning means uniting the island one more time."
People cheered once again, but she knew it was mainly because they were angry of the other King.
"So, the other thing you need to know is that I am married. I got to married to the one and only Prince Joe," as expected people started talking and gasping, however she continued, "Prince Joe and I understands that you might not trust him, this is why he is definitely out of the picture, this marriage is just between us and it will not affect you by any means. So, do you trust me?"
Silence took place for a second before cheers started radiating slowly until it was clear the answer is yes. Miley and Demi shared a relieved smile knowing that the hard part was done.
"With that being clarified, there's a list of the current decisions." She started once again, "One: I Demetria Devonne Stewart take over this Kingdom is your Queen as from this moment and vow to be fair and have your needs covered and security granted.
Two: there's not going to be a coronation ceremony due to the current events.
Three: The late King's funeral takes place in two days.
Four: The head of our army, Liam Blakeley is fired from all his duties.
Last but not least: Upon her own request and my full trust in her, Princess Destiny Hope Stewart is from this moment announced the new head of army.
Keep your heads up high, people, and keep fighting, you are my motivation, you give me power and we complete each other. May God protect us all."
Demi finished her speech and with a final wave both sisters left the cheering crowd and went inside where Queen Tricia was waiting for them with Taylor who came for support.
Miley felt strong, confident even, she spent a good hour defending her case of taking over the army. She was passionate about it. It was a feeling she never had before.
She was going to fight hard, fight for the innocent people caught in the middle of this mess, fight in favor of avenging her dead father, fight herself against her one and only true love…
"Just so you know, this whole fuzz about you and the great speech you just gave, doesn't mean I've forgave you. You are responsible for your father's death." Queen Tricia addressed her daughter as they walked out and towards the carriage that will take them back to the castle.
Demi was so stunned to reply, however, Miley didn't hesitate to, "Oh, and I know I speak for both of us when I say we will never forgive you mother for what you have done. From being a control freak to forced marriages and determining our future for us. So, no, mom, if we are going to blame each other for the King's death then I lame you and him."
So, she's become a fighter. With nothing to stop her… what else has she got to lose? Simple answer: nothing.
Far, at the back of the cheering crowd, there was a hooded tall figure listening carefully to the new Queen's speech. He smiled to himself, he is not going to go down so easily. He doesn't go down without a fight, and he hasn't got that far just for this to be the end, so, Liam, is also on the move…
A/N: This is insane. I forgot how much I loved writing this story until I began writing this chapter, I just found it all coming back. I'm happy that I did though. I wanted to write more, but this is already nearing the 6K words, so I don't wanna bore you guys with such a huge come back, although I don't know if anybody is still around for this one, you must have forgotten about it. Anyway, I will continue it anyway and I have a good idea of next chapter so I just have to write it down. God, I missed you guys.
So, if you are reading this, please tell me what you think of it? Does it make up for the year gap? Hope it does. I cried while writing the whole Nick tantrum there, so that must count, lol.
Anyway, tell me what you think please, and hopefully it's not going to be long until next chapter, you can expect it sometime next week :)
