I hope you all know how much your reviews mean to me. This was my first fanfiction ever and I was really nervous to post it. I wasn't sure if anyone would actually read this story at all or if they did, that they might hate it. Your reviews and support mean the world to me, so PLEASE keep them coming :) Here's the next chapter! Only 3 chapters left!

I sat stiffly, my legs curled up underneath me, my body tucked under a big blanket, a forgotten cup of hot chocolate in my hand. I could feel the tears threatening to seep past my eyelids and I clenched my teeth together harder, trying to keep them at bay. I would not cry.

We had planned a scary movie marathon tonight; all of us. But, things get in the way. And those things happened to be two vampires that had crossed the La Push border over two hours ago.

Two hours of sitting here just waiting. Waiting to make sure all the boys returned in one piece. Waiting to make sure my heart wouldn't break in two when they returned.

I was worried.

A soft hand squeezed mine. Allie. She was sitting next to me, her heart beating fast, her eyes on the floor. She was trembling.

We were at Uncle Embry's house. It was the best place to wait. Uncle Embry would treat the boys if they received any injuries while protecting the tribe. They would all come here immediately after.

I bit my lip. I had thought that after the first time they had been whisked away without warning that I would have been prepared for the second time. But, I sadly realized I didn't think that there was anything that could ever prepare me for watching my boys go off to meet their doom. And I hated it.

"Liss relax," Allie whispered in my ear. She put her arm around my shoulders.

Ever since I had returned to La Push, Allie and I had developed this very wonderful friendship. It had happened by accident. JJ had been hanging out with her at our house and he had been called out on patrol, leaving the two of us alone in a very awkward situation. But when he had returned, he had found us sitting on the couch together, watching the Notebook and balling our eyes out. Now, she was like my big sister.

"I'm trying," I whimpered.

This was the longest they had ever been gone before. Had something gone wrong? Was there more than they originally thought? Had someone gotten hurt? Had they killed them yet? The questions were endless. But the answers would only come from the boys themselves and not until they returned back home.

Across the room, Tessa sat, her foot jiggling back and forth. "How do you guys stand this? I could totally be out there helping right now. I can't wait here, not knowing."

Although Tessa and I were still not really on speaking terms, I couldn't help but feel for her right now. This was her first attack; her first time waiting on the sidelines. And it was true, she could have been helping, but Bronson had told her not to. He, along with my parents, had agreed that she wasn't trained enough to fight yet. Maybe eventually, but based on how protective Bronson had become over her, I doubted she'd ever see any action.

Allie sighed. "I'd like to tell you that it's something you get used to, but it's really not."

Tessa stood up. "I need some air," she announced loudly.

"Tessa, sit down," Sam called from inside the kitchen.

Tessa sat, adorning a very big scowl.

I had nearly forgotten about the adults, who were quietly convened in the kitchen together. My parents, along with Embry and Rebecca, Rachel and Paul, and Sam and Emily were all sitting in the kitchen, having some sort of a "meeting" while they were waiting for the boys to return. I assumed they just didn't want to worry us with their own vivid concern.

"Oh my God, this is just torture," Tessa cried, raking her fingers across her face.

I could feel my patience wearing quickly. We all knew how awful it was sitting here; not knowing what was happening just out of our reach; did she really need to voice the obvious aloud? Couldn't she just shut up and suffer in silence like the rest of us?

But before I could ask her to do so, the front door flew open to reveal Connor, Jeremy, and JJ. Allie squealed, jumping out of her seat and practically flying through the air, landing in my brother's arms. She sobbed her heart out against his bare chest, not even caring the rain water and blood—from a deep scratch on his forehead—dripped all over her.

The kitchen door opened and the room was flooded with relieved parents.

I couldn't sit still any longer. I jumped up and hurried over to my cousin, framing his cut up face in my hands. He looked tired, but he smiled at me, squeezing me to his chest.

"God, are you okay?" I whispered.

Jeremy grinned. "You worry too much, little cuz."

Aunt Rebecca didn't seem to agree. "Come in to the kitchen and let your father stitch you up," she ordered, stealing her son away.

I squeezed Connor's hand as he passed by and he greeted me tiredly before he followed Jeremy, JJ, and Allie into the kitchen.

I would have to see my older brother after Allie let him go. But just knowing that he was safe was enough for now.

The door opened again and Bronson whisked in with Kevin and Alex. Tessa leapt over the back of the couch and kissed my brother full on, not caring that she was standing in between a bunch of werewolves. All she cared about was that my brother was walking in that door in one piece. And even though I hated her, at least she loved my brother.

Kevin was in bad shape. His arm was cut and bleeding, his head was bruised. But being Kevin, he was acting rather difficult. He just wanted to sit on the couch.

"Kev," Bronnie murmured. "C'mon into the kitchen, okay? Uncle Em's gonna stitch your arm. Then, you can sit down."

"I'm fine," he snapped, shaking a little.

I thought he was delirious.

"C'mon, Kev," Bronson pleaded, grabbing his friend's hand.

To my surprise, Tessa reached around Bronson and grabbed Kevin's elbow of his bad arm. I watched helplessly as my brother and his imprint gently lugged Kevin towards the kitchen, Alex pushing from behind.

Where was everyone else?

I sat down on the couch again, alone. Andy, Taylor and Noah were still missing. I wanted them home and I wanted them home now. Where were they? Why weren't they back yet?

I started to cry.

I didn't know what I would do if something happened to Noah—not only Noah but the rest of the pack as well. These boys had become my family; my life. I needed them.

The door opened and I found myself holding my breath, just waiting.

The moment the three of them walked through the doors, I had never been more relieved in my entire life. My legs felt like they weren't attached to my body as I hurried across the room and flung myself at all of them.

"I was so worried," I blubbered.

Taylor shook his head. "Takes a lot to get rid of us, Liss. Don't be a worry-wart."

I felt Andy press a gentle kiss to my hair before he and his brother took off towards the kitchen, leaving me alone with my imprint.

"I don't know what I would have done if—" I was tearful again.

Noah's strong arms were around me. "I'm right here, baby," he whispered in my ear. "I'm not going anywhere. I promise."

I didn't know what to say. There weren't any words to describe how I felt. So I did what I thought could portray my emotions better.

I kissed him hard, my hands in his hair, and my legs around his waist. He caught me, momentarily shocked before he was kissing me back just as passionately. His tongue licked my lower lip and I opened my mouth eagerly. Our tongues battled and Noah tilted his head, deepening the kiss.

It was perfect.

I had to break away, gasping for air. Noah's lips didn't leave my skin. They moved to my nose, my cheek, my chin; everywhere. My fingers pressed into his skin as I tried to control my breathing.

I lowered myself to the ground, untangling myself from him, grinning from ear to ear as tears rolled down my cheeks.

Noah's hands cupped my cheeks. "What's wrong?"

I laughed, pressing my face against his bare chest. "Nothing," I said. "Absolutely nothing."

His arms were around me at once. "I love you so damn much," he whispered, his lips at my ear.

"I love you too, Noah."

And I did.

With all my heart.

I just love Noah and Elissa's relationship. Please review!
