To TigrezzTail yes what Naruto did to Maka was harsh but look at hit from his view he's the leader of a hidden village if he let Maka off easy he could be accused of nepotism and Maka did disobey orders
Rise of Namigakure
Maka had been walking around the village aimlessly since leaving her father's office Maka brought a hand to her forehead running her fingers across her forehead sending shivers down her spine
She'd have to get used to not feeling metal Maka kept going hardly noticing if she bumped into someone as she continued until finally there was an obstacle in her path she couldn't avoid Maka smiled softly
"Of course you'd get in my way wouldn't you" Maka bit out playfully "even when you're dead Kandachi" Maka sat down across from Zero's grave marker how had she gotten to the cemetery
Maybe there was some divine being guiding her action writing her destiny Maka shook her head it was more likely her guilty conscience
"you know you annoyed me from the minute I met you Kandachi you were loud arrogant but the more I got to know you I saw more and more" she began "how irritating you could be" Maka said with a laugh "I bet if you were here you'd be saying the same thing to me" Maka frowned
"But despite all of your many many many annoying qualities I could see past that I saw how hard working you were how patient you were communicating with Ryo and more often than not I could hear you at the training fields till long into the night after a while I couldn't sleep in my own bed without the sound of you punching that post over and over" Maka wiped the tears from her eyes
"I'm shouldn't have listened to you I'm way stronger than you you baka I could have held off Kaen without resorting to a billion explosion tags" Maka stood up "now look where you left me Ryo and Inari sensei did you think just because you didn't have a family you could go and die that no one would miss you" Maka was crying now "you big jerk you had a damn family Ryo me sensei we were your family and we're going to miss you"
"How touching" Maka turned her eyes widened before her was a man with spiky orange hair and black piercings in his ears his nose even his lips but it was the eyes that filled her with fear she'd seen them in a book but she thought they were just a myth
Well now that myth was right in front of her and they honest to Kami scared her more than the Akatsuki cloak he wore
"The Rinnegan" Maka said rushing forward leaping into the air she sent an axe kick at the Akatsuki members face the man lifted his arm "Shinra Tensei" he called out in a monotone voice
Maka floated in the air before she was sent flying crashing through Zero's headstone Maka grit her teeth pushing herself up onto her knees
"Stay down" the man ordered "you cannot win" Maka pushed herself up regardless reaching for a kunai lucky for her dad didn't confiscate those from her "I'm not afraid of you" she shouted throwing a kunai
The man held up his hand deflecting the kunai as easily as he had the first time "I haven't come to fight Maka Otsutsuki I've come to strike a bargain"
Maka shook her head "hard pass I don't want anything from you" the Akatsuki member rushed forward grabbing her by the neck lifting her into the air
"You are trying my patience girl now listen or I will break your neck" he ordered Maka spit in his face something even Hidan would never dream of doing to the leader of the Akatsuki not that this girl knew who he was

"I am not someone you should trifle with I am beyond petty human squabbles I am leader of the Akatsuki I am the one who will bring peace to this world I am Pain nod if you understand"
Maka nodded Pain nodded "good" he said loosening the pressure around Maka's neck "good now then I have come because I need a new spy among my enemies in Namigakure after my lasts demise you have been chosen as that spy"
Maka's eyes widened "I see your confused and if my hands were not around your neck you would shout how you would never betray your village nod if I am correct" Maka nodded
"now I will tell you why you will become my mole and that is my presence in your village I the leader of the Akatsuki have evaded every shinobi every border check everything your father has set in place to keep your village safe and entered this most hallowed spot the place where shinobi can come to pay their respects to those who've fallen" Pain said
Maka's eyes widening in fear her parents her friends Kushina Pain just standing in the village put them in catastrophic danger
"The destruction I can unleash on Namigakure would be seen as an act of Kami not an act of war because Otsutsuki san I am very thorough and I leave no witnesses is this understood" Maka nodded
"So than Otsutsuki san do we have an agreement I will leave your village unharmed if you swear loyalty to me is that clear" Pain asked letting Maka down looking down at the floor "yes" she muttered
"Yes what" Pain said holding up his hand Maka dropped down to her knees bowing her head against the ground
"Yes" Maka said "Pain Sama" Pain nodded turning to walk away before he left he dropped a scroll at her feet
"You will meet me alone at this location with the dossiers of every member of Namigakures ruling council is this clear" Maka stood up picking up the scroll "yes Pain Sama"
Pain said nothing vanishing like a mirage in the desert as if he was never there but holding the scroll in her hand Maka knew otherwise
