Chapter 26

Loki's POV

I felt it the second she left this world. My thoughts were proven correct when Sif and the others took the Bifrost. Why would she leave? Where would she even go? My feet stopped at the top of the weapons vault.

"Thor." I said angrily and hurried down the stairs. I grabbed the Casket of Ancient Winters and left the vault. I needed to send the Destroyer to earth. By now my darling wife has made it to Thor and most likely told him everything. I had to bring her back and kill my brother so there was no hope for him ever returning to Asgard. It was time to go visit my father in law. Once I arrived at the Bifrost I stared at Heimdall who just looked back at me.

"Your magic was very impressive, impressive to sneak three frost giants into Asgard without me seeing them." he said. I merely stared at him with anger in my eyes. If he weren't the father of the woman I am stubbornly still in love with, I would destroy him right now.

"You sent Alithya to earth…why?" I asked.

"Because you are not right for her and you are not right for Asgard." he replied. I frowned deeply at his words.

"Now that I am king your services are no longer needed and you are hereby relieved of your duties and no longer a member of Asgard." I said. His eyes remained calm as he held his sword before him.

"Then I have no need to take orders from you." he replied and raised his sword quickly. Oh Heimdall, foolish guardian. I raised the casket and shot it directly at him. I watched the ice take hold of his entire body was devoured by the power of the casket. His sword was slowly coming towards me and soon it stopped right in front of me. I looked up at the dark sky and the stars.

"It's time to end this." I said and turned from the ice statue of my father in law.

Alithya's POV

The truck was driving fast through the forest.

"We need to think of a plan there's no way those FBI agents are going to let us anywhere near the hammer." Jane said. I shook my head.

"Why is Mjolnir not with you Thor? Did it get separated from you when you were banished?" I asked. Thor sighed heavily.

"Yes. Whoever is deemed worthy will be able to wield it." he said. I nodded slowly and looked at him.

"And you were not deemed worthy." I concluded and he didn't answer me. So I knew it was true. We were in some small time. There were so many small areas. Suddenly the truck came to a screeching halt and my body jerked forward and I gasped and looked forward.

"Oh my god." I hear Jane whisper and my eyes widen as I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He sent it here. "What is that?"

"The Destroyer," Thor replied before looking at me and moving to open the door. "Stay here."

"Are you mad?" I asked grabbing his hand stopping him. "You're a human you'll be killed." Thor stared at me for a moment and nodded.

"If it must come to that to bring my world peace." he said. Jane's eyes widened now.

"What no." she exclaimed, but Thor was already stepping out of the truck. Everyone was already exiting as well. We got out and I watched as Thor began to confront The Destroyer. Jane looked at me with fear in her eyes. "What will he do?"

The panic in her voice caused the panic in my body to grow. I took her hands in mine.

"I do not know." I replied.

Normal POV

With Loki's magic he could see everything The Destroyer saw. This small town was puny to him. He would destroy it after he killed his brother and claimed his wife once more. Thor raised his hands.

"Brother you do not have to do this." Thor said with sincerity in his eyes, but Loki was not moved.

"Even in exile, you haunt the realm of Asgard. You turned my family against me." he hissed. Thor shook his head.

"No, brother. Alithya left because she was afraid of you of what you might do if she ever steps in your line of anger… or should your child." he said. Alithya closed her eyes at his words and looked down slowly.

Loki frowned and leaned forward on his throne.

"Do not assume to know her intentions. I know you always favored her, but that matters not. Did father tell you what we were, her and me?" he asked. Thor nodded slowly.

"Yes. You both are frost giants, she a half giant and half Asgardian and it means nothing now. You both are my siblings, and I love you dearly. You are the king now. So if I have done anything to offend you I am truly sorry." he said in a light tone. Alithya and Jane were watching with worry in their eyes and slowly, the queen moved from the human and slowly stepped forward. This made Sif and Fandral very cautious even taking a few steps forward. She moved towards The Destroyer as well and she stood beside Thor as well.

"Loki please. If this will bring peace to your heart I will come back." she exclaimed. Loki stared at his wife as she came into view of The Destroyer.

"There she is." Loki said with hurt in his eyes and tone. He would not deny the mere opinion that he may have been the cause for her running away, but the fact she ran to her brother the man he despised most, clouded his mind with hatred and anger. The Destroyer began to turn from the two and at first Thor and Alithya thought Loki had a change of heart. "You will come back regardless."

In an instant The Destroyer instantly whipped his hand back smacking Thor directly in the face. Alithya's eyes widened and she screamed in shock as her brother flew across the air. Jane's eyes widened as he landed hard with a thud.

"NO!" she screamed and ran after him.

Alithya's Pov

Oh no no. This could not be happening. Suddenly I am lifted off the ground by The Destroyer causing me to scream and thrash about.

"No let me go!" I screamed trying to look back at Thor, but strands of my hair were in my face blocking my vision. I could see his body lying limp on the ground. He killed him. He killed Thor!
