Hey guys! Guess how long it's been since I last updated? Ahahaha... only almost 8 months! Aha, aha, aha, I'm so sorry. I have no idea how this happened. But I'm here now, and guess what? I'm going to finish this story. This is the last chapter, and then there'll be an epilogue. So... here we go, I guess. :)

~Chapter 26~

Garmadon once again pulled the lever that brought the boys back into his room. He turned to face them, looking oh-so very triumphant. The boys, of course, looked defeated. They quickly turned, though, from defeat to anger, when they saw who also inhabited the room. Alex, Nya, Avery, and Patricia were captured and held, in that order, in glass cages.

"Well, hasn't my plan gone smoothly?" Garmadon asked.

"No," Alex answered, causing Garmadon to turn around quickly to face her. "Yeah, you captured us, but we still nearly beat you at least half a dozen times..."

Garmadon chuckled as he slowly, condescendingly, stalked towards her. "Yes, alright. You win. But you know what?" he asked, leaning towards the glass, almost being face-to-face with her. "You still lose."

Alex glared at him as he turned away back towards the ninja. He was so occupied on the girls that he didn't noticed them get four texts simultaneously, and he certainly didn't see them all smile at each other quickly before putting their phones back.

"You see boys-" he looked at the girls for a moment, "and girls... This was all part of my plan. No matter what happened, all I needed was for this scene - right here - to come to be. And it did."

Wu looked down, already predicting what was going to happen next.

"Dad, what are you talking about?" Lloyd asked.

"Well, I'm not just going to stop with Riley, now am I?" he asked. "I need all the girls gone."

"WHAT?"
"NO!"
"STOP!"

Screams of protest came from the boys' cages.

"Dad, please don't do this!" Lloyd begged.

"Brother..." Wu spoke. "You do not have to do this... Let them go. Let us all go. Defeat the evil within yourself."

Garmadon's face slowly dropped. He walked towards his brother, bound in chains, and studied him. He then looked into his eyes, with deep emotion.

"...No."

He turned quickly as Wu's looked toward the ground in shame, his brother gone.

"You see boys," Garmadon began as he marched over to the control panel. "How will you feel, when your own powers destroy those who you love the most!"

"NO!" All nine teens screamed as he pulled a lever.

All in a flash, the worst thing possible happened before the ninja's eyes. Time slowed down and sound stopped completely. The ninja watched in horror as love was destroyed.

Alex's prison flooded with fire, her screams lost is the crackle of the flames. A dark silhouette of her burning body faded until nothing was left. And Alex was gone.

In Nya's cage, a loud clap of thunder was heard, followed by the sizzle of electricity. Thousands of volts of blue lightning were zapped into her body, the rain from the mini storm blocking all view of her. And Nya was gone.

Avery room began filling with dirt and rubble and other earth-like things. They pushed her to the ground and then buried her, no air remaining for her precious life. And Avery was gone.

And finally, in Patricia's cage, a snowstorm of ice came bellowing down on the poor girl, either freezing her or burying her, which ever came first. And Patricia was gone.

As time caught up with them, a raw outpour of emotion came from the ninja. They could not contain their grief as waves of sorrow and pure hatred irrupted from them all, even Lloyd. Garmadon just soaked it all in.

"Well there you go, all gone, BWAHAHAHA...!" he screeched.

"Why... why would you do this?" Kai asked, his composure crumbing, tears burning his eyes.

"Well, they were of no use to me, I just wanted to kill you in the worst was possible. Your element is you, so in a way... you killed them," Garmadon answered smugly. "But what do you care? They're dead now."

"Are you sure about that?" Wu asked from his cage.

Garmadon glared at him. "Of course. Of course they're dead, no one could survive that."

"Oh really?"

"YES. It is impossible to survive that, how could they be alive?"

"'Your element is you...'"

Garmadon's look of confusion soon turned to understanding as he whipped around to see the cages of the girls. One by one, the cages shattered, leaving only the metal base and the elements standing. But slowly, a shadow began to emerge from Alex's cage. Garmadon squinted his eyes. His eyes then widened as Alex stepped out, looking absolutely fine.

Garmadon gritted his teeth, anger boiling to the surface. "WHAT?! How can you be alive, you can't possibly be alive!"

"Because I am my element," she answered. "I am air. You can't kill air with fire."

"And why not?"

"Because there's air in fire."

Nya then burst from her prison. "And thunder in lightning."

"And nature in earth." Avery said, coming out next.

"And water in ice." Patricia finished, entering.

"Long story short, you're pretty stupid." Alex added.

Garmadon was now panting out of frustration, his breathe huffing at a more than audible level. "Oh really? Get them!"

Lotus, Ashley, Melissa, and Emily ran out through a door, and immediately charged the girls, their hands glowing with dark powers colored in black, purple, and navy blue. The heroines simply used their powers to lift the girls and fling them to the side.

"Nice try, we're super charged you friggin' idiots," Avery muttered. As Ashley attempted to get up, Nya stomped her foot on the ground, a thunder clap sounding that sent Ashlet back to the ground.

"Aaaaaaand, stay down," Nya smirked.

"Okay, but how are you going to beat me?" a small voice asked. The girls all faced a girl around the same age as Lloyd and Riley. It was Felicity.

Suddenly, she raised her fingers to her temples as sent powerful brain waves to the girls. They groaned and grabbed their heads in pain as they began to fall to the ground.

"They're not going to," a voice said from behind them. Lloyd gasped, looking towards it. Could it be? "I am."

Riley stood in the doorway in her yellow ninja suit.

"...You..." Felicity gasped.

"Riley?" Lloyd whispered.

"...Riley..." Alex breathed in pain on the ground. "...Run..."

She shook her head. "I'm done running,"

And the battle begun.

Felicity struck first, a blast of grey power shooting from her hands. Riley blocked it with a yellow light. They stepped towards each other. Felicity sent two more blast, Riley deflected them both. Felicity sent another. Riley spun to avoid it, but Felicity was ready. She sent a blast Riley didn't see that hit her straight in the chest and sent her flying back. Felicity ran at Riley, who had landed on her back and jumped at her. Riley prepared, and kicked her with both feet, sending her up towards the ceiling. Riley didn't even hesitate. As soon as she had kicked she was up on her feet and had jumped towards the sky, flying higher to reach her rival. Soon they were flying in circles, shooting at each other, and dodging their blasts. Unfortunately, Felicity sent an especially harsh blow that sent Riley down to the ground. She hit hard, in a very similar fashion to when she fell from the ship earlier.

"RILEY NO!" Lloyd shouted.

"...Guys..." Alex gasped, gaining the ninja's attention. "...Help her..." She flicked her wrist and manipulated the air to unlock the ninja's cages. Meanwhile, Nya, Avery, and Patricia all began to get up to help Riley fight. The ninja ran towards Felicity trying to stop her. She sent massive blasts of nightmarish energy while Avery went and helped Riley up.

Kai ran over to Alex, who was still on the ground.

"Are you okay, what's wrong?" he asked.

"I guess... I guess she hit me the hardest...I'll be fine, I just feel a little... a little weak..."

"Oh, uh... here..." Kai gently placed his hands on her face and transferred some of his energy into her (via the fire/air thing that saved her in the first place). Slowly, she felt her energy regaining, and sat up, Kai's hands sliding from her face.

"... Thanks." she smiled.

"No problem. Now let's save your sister."

Garmadon was now fighting alongside Felicity as they blasted at all 11 ninja (including Wu).

"You're no match, it's over Garmadon!" Cole yelled. "Stand down!"

"Never!"

Suddenly, the four fallen evil-ninja were up and shooting at their least favorite girls. Alex, Nya, Avery, and Patricia blasted at them from the side as the locked into combat.

"Guys!" Patricia shouted. "Drive them to the center!"

All the ninja began focusing their blasts, pushing the girls towards Garmadon and Felicity, surrounding them. But the force wasn't strong enough.

"Riley, we need you!" Nya called.

"Transform!" Avery ordered.

"Okay, okay! Hold them off!" Riley shouted, dropping her charge from the group. She closed her eyes and focused. Slowly, a green light surrounded her, and her yellow melting into a lime color. She opened her green glowing eyes and shot daggers at the enemy. "Hey guys," she said, referencing her enemies.

"EAT GREEN!"

A blast of green light from her combined with Lloyd's. It then swirled around the others' light before flying up and finally smashing down onto the villains. A blinding light poured into the room, forcing everyone to close their eyes.

Slowly, one by one, the ninja opened their eyes. The light was now fading into a heavenly glow, surrounding them. They looked around, their enemies gone - defeated.

"Nya?" Jay called.

"Jay!" She answered, her eyes finding him. The two embraced.

"Nya! Alex!" Kai cried, running towards them. Soon, the 8 teenagers were all embracing each other, celebrating their survival.

Eventually, Alex ran over to her little sister, and hugged her tighter than she ever had before. When she opened her eyes, over her sister's shoulder, she saw Lloyd just staring at her. Slowly, Alex let Riley go, and Riley turned to look at the green ninja.

She slowly walked towards him, her arms by her side.

He looked her up and down, his eyes red, his nose burning. "...Riley...?"

She smiled sympathetically and nodded.

"...You're alive..."

"Yeah..."

"And... you're green..."

"Yeah..." she repeated. "It's... another prophecy. I can harness all the female elements... I'm... I'm the second green ninja..."

For a long time, neither of them spoke. Finally, Lloyd just whispered "Riley...?" as if he still couldn't believe she was in front of him.

"Yes. Yes, it's me. I'm alive, I'm fine. I promise."

Hesitantly, Lloyd reached for her hand. He reached a little further, a little further and then, he touched her. He felt her soft skin under his palm as he took her hand in his. He looked down at it in surprise, than looked back up, tears in his eyes. All at once, he dropped her hand, and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him as tears began to fall down his face. Riley too, began to cry as the two 11 year olds held each other, finally being together again, after almost loosing each other.

Finally, they let go, only for all of the ninja to embrace them, including Sensei Wu.

Lloyd sniffled as they all let go. "I lost my dad. I mean, I lost him a long time ago... but now he's really gone."

Avery knelt down to be on eye level with him. "I know you did Lloyd... So did I?"

"*Sniffle* huh?"

"Avery, how do you know about-" Wu questioned.

"Misako told us," Nya answered.

"Lloyd..." Avery started. "A long time ago... years before Misako and Garmadon had you... They... they had a girl. Your older sister. That girl... that girl is me. I'm the girl. I'm Garmadon's daughter... I'm your sister..."

Avery then got up to face the ninja. "I'm sorry guys, I wish I could have told you earlier..."

"It's okay..." Jay answered.

"Yeah," Kai agreed. "I mean, we totally accept Lloyd-"

"Why would we not accept you as well?" Zane finished.

Avery then looked to Cole, who looked a bit stunned. "Avery... Avery, Zane is a robot. Of course we accept you."

"Plus, I've always wanted a sister!" Lloyd added, hugging his newfound kin. Soon, everyone had joined in.

"Let's go home, guys." Riley suggested happily. "Let's go home..."

Okay, I think this is the longest chapter I've ever written. I've got an epilogue written that I'll post a little later. And then the story will be over. So until then, this is ~FearlessRed29, signing off. Have a great day.
