TWO WEEKS AFTER THANKSGIVING (OR ONE WEEK LATER)

Jenny was restless and bored. She wasn't teaching until January. She wasn't even scheduled to meet the classes until next week. There hadn't even been minor skirmishes with Tyrannodrones in a week. The impulse monster hadn't even come back. Cabin fever was starting to set in so she jumped in her car and just started driving around town.

Suddenly, something caught her eye and she whipped the car into a parking lot, parked and jumped out. Before her was a motorcycle exactly like the one she had in the other world. Sitting right next to her was the cycle's big brother - no, her mate. Beefier, more powerful, a little bigger and a deep rich black with green, white and red pin striping. The leather seat was embossed with eagle feathers and a dream catcher. She yanked her phone out of her pocket, almost tearing it in her haste and called Tommy.

"Hello?"

"Nothing's wrong, but can you talk for a minute?"

"Sure, what's up, Gorgeous?"

"I know that while we were - away - you said that you hadn't driven a motorcycle in a while."

"Right, but I still have my license."

"Exactly what I needed to know" she purred. Tommy raised an eyebrow at this. "I'll see you at home. Love you."

She hung up the phone before he could even reply. Slipping her phone back into her pocket, she straddled the smaller blue bike. A voice came from behind her, "Well, hello, little lady. How can I help you?"

She rolled her eyes before looking toward the voice. "I'm considering buying this bike and her mate here" she answered, waving her hand at the black bike. "And before this goes any further, I have a license, know a thing or two about bikes and I'll pay cash if necessary to get what I want - today."

The man paused and studied her for a moment, then grinned. "Name's Dino, but my friends call me Diesel, little lady. What can I do for you today?"

"You can start by calling me Jenny."

ONE HOUR LATER

Jenny left the small dealership sporting a huge grin and a promise of seven o'clock delivery for the bikes and helmets. She headed for the mall. She hated shopping but for this to be right, she'd deal with it.

TWO HOURS LATER

Jenny was finally headed home, having accomplished all that she's set out to do. She grinned to herself at the success of the scouting mission she'd just completed - until she caught sight of the clock on the dash. Tommy would be home soon and she wasn't sure she'd beat him. It would be hard to surprise him if she wasn't careful.

When she finally pulled into the driveway, she breathed a sigh of relief. She still had five minutes before he was due home. Quickly grabbing all the bags, she raced into the house and hid them in an upstairs spare room. She concentrated on catching her breath so he wouldn't be any more suspicious than he probably already was.

She had barely caught her breath when she heard the front door open. "I'm home!"

Jenny met him at the bottom of the stairs. "How was your day?"

"Fine - except I got a weird phone call from my girlfriend."

She smirked. "Oh really? Which girlfriend?"

He grinned back. "My favorite one."

"Oh, her. What did she want?" She asked, continuing the game.

"Apparently she wanted to know if I still had my motorcycle license. You wouldn't happen to know why she wanted to know, do you?"

Jenny waved her hand dismissively. "Oh who knows with her. That bitch is crazy with a capital 'C'."

Tommy laughed and shook his head in defeat. "Okay. I'll be down in a few minutes. I think the kids can have a light one today. They have been training pretty hard and there have been no real threats lately."

Jenny barely managed to keep her face straight. This was too perfect! "Okay." She kissed him quickly and headed for the lair. She triggered her astral projection, moved to two different points in the room and began to stretch out as both forms.

An hour and a half later, practice was over and both adults were back upstairs and showered. Jenny made dinner as Tommy started grading some papers in the den. He stopped when dinner was ready, but once dinner was over, he heaved a heavy sigh and got back to it. Jenny raced through dinner clean up, grinning insanely the entire time.

When clean up was done, she headed upstairs. Listening carefully to make sure he wasn't following, she grabbed the bags out of the spare room, headed to their room and started working on the next part of her plan.

Down in the den, Tommy was most of the way through the stack of papers. He pulled his glasses off, tossed them down on the desk and rubbed his eyes. Jenny's voice came from the doorway. "Just thought I'd let you know, occasionally there are side effects of Logan and I having traded blood as often as we did - and right now, Wolvie's getting restless."

Tommy paused for a long moment, recognizing Jubilee's phrasing before turning to face her. He was startled to see that she was dressed almost exactly as she had been when the four of them had gone to Harry's in the other world. She was leaning on the door frame with no expression on her face, but a gleam of something that he couldn't identify in her eyes. She spoke again. "If you want to come with and watch my back, I'll help you finish grading papers tomorrow. If you don't want to go, then I'll see you when I get home, but I have to get out of here for a while. It's nothing personal."

He thought for a long moment and then smiled. "Why not? I could use the break."

A smile, eerily reminiscent of Logan's wolfish grin, crossed her face. "Good. Your clothes are already laid out on the bed." She pushed off the door frame as he rose from his chair. She went to the living room as he climbed the stairs. As he reached the top of the stairs, there was a knock at the door. She looked up at him. "Hurry up and meet me outside. I'll take care of this."

Curiosity aroused, he hurried to the bedroom. Quickly, he dressed in the clothes she had put out, noting that they were new and very similar to his bar outfit - all the way to the boots and leather jacket that awaited him. He shoved his phone, keys and wallet in his pockets and hurried down the stairs. The front door popped open and Jenny poked her head in. "There you are. Come out here and sign this."

Frowning, he went out the door. A large man he didn't know was standing there and held out a clipboard and pen. "What am I signing?" Tommy asked.

Jenny sighed impatiently. "Just trust me and sign it."

Tommy frowned again but did as she asked. She addressed the large man. "Thanks, Diesel. I've got it from here."

Diesel nodded and left. Tommy turned to her, confused. "So what did I just sign?"

"Delivery receipt."

"What the hell for?"

She reached inside the door and flipped the switch for the driveway floodlights. As she pointed toward where he'd parked his Jeep, she answered simply, "That."

Tommy turned his attention to where she was pointing and looked - his mouth falling open. Slowly, he crossed the space between him and the black beast sitting next to his Jeep. Gently, he reached out and caressed the shiny black tank, almost as if he were afraid that it would disappear if he moved too quickly. After a minute, Jenny spoke quietly from behind him. "Do you like it?"

In answer, he spun, grabbed her and kissed her hard. He had no words, but hoped that she understood all that he wanted to say. When he finally broke for air, all he could say was, "Why? How? When?"

She shrugged. "I was out driving when I saw a bike that was exactly like mine from the other world. When I stopped, this beast was sitting right next to her. My first thought was that they looked like mates. Then I took a closer look at this one. To me, it just screamed you. And sitting right next to one that looked so much like my girl-" she shrugged again "Well it didn't seem right to break up the pair." She dangled a set of keys in front of him. "It's yours - title and all."

Slowly, Tommy took the keys. "I don't know what to say."

Jenny shook her head, stopping him. "There's nothing that needs to be said and nothing that needs to be paid back. This is probably going to happen every so often and I'll want you to cover my back. I felt that you should have your own instead of riding with me. And - like I said - he's just so you." She grinned at him. "Why don't you start it up and see how it feels?"

"Only if I can do the same to you later" he shot back. He pulled her close again and kissed her hard once more. He pulled back just far enough to speak, voice rough and deep with emotion. "I promise you this - I will thank you properly for this later."

"Good." Once more, her smile mimicked her 'brother' Logan's more feral grin.

Tommy swung his leg over the bike and just sat for a moment. As he put in the key and turned it, she commented, "You'll have to really look at it in the morning to see all the details. That's when you'll really see why I decided you had to have it."

Tommy kick started the bike and almost moaned at the throaty growl that came from the motorcycle. Jenny tapped his arm and he turned to her, his eyes shining. She smiled again, this time more her than Logan, and handed him his helmet before grabbing hers. She mounted her own bike and had it started in a moment. She pitched her voice to carry to him across the two motors. "Follow me. We'll give them a test run before we go somewhere to shoot some pool."

He nodded and she preceded him out of the driveway and down the street. She led him to some back roads where they could give the new bikes a proper workout. It wasn't long before Tommy had the feel of the bike. He grinned at her, bent low and took off into the night. She laughed and took off after him.

After a while, she slowed down and waited for him to drop back to meet her. When he had, she beckoned him to follow her. Immediately, he fell behind her, allowing her to lead again. Twenty minutes later, she pulled up and parked outside a building. It looked remarkably like Harry's in the other dimension. As one, they shut down their bikes, pulled off their helmets and grinned at each other.

Jenny dismounted first, holding out her hand to stop him from getting off the bike just yet. "I want to show you a couple of things on here." She reached out to a spot just below the gauges and slid open a hidden panel. Underneath the panel was a small screen and some buttons. She pointed to the screen. "GPS unit." She pointed to a red button. "Power." She pointed to another button - this one blue. "This one triggers a homing device on my bike so that you can find it." She pointed to the third one which was black. "This one triggers your homing device so that I can find you."

He blinked in surprise. "And you have the same things on yours?"

She nodded. "My blue and black buttons are reverse of yours - my black button will find you while my blue will show you where I am."

Tommy finally found his voice. "Wow. You really do think of everything, don't you?"

Jenny shook her head. "Babe, the way things have been going lately, I think this was just kind of a gimme - don't you?"

He chuckled ruefully. "Yeah, I guess so."

Her eyes sparkled at him in the light of the bar. "So - wanna see if we can find a little trouble?"

"Oh yeah." He dismounted and followed her into the building. One quick look around told him all he needed to know - this place was so much like Harry's that Tommy thought that Logan and Jubilee would be as comfortable here as they would be at home.

Jenny glanced at him over her shoulder. "Wanna grab us a table while I grab something to drink?"

He nodded and headed for the pool tables, most of which were empty. As he chose one, a voice addressed him. "Hell of a woman you got there."

He looked up to see the man who delivered the motorcycles. He remembered that Jenny had called him Diesel. "Don't I know it" he answered.

The other man paused for a moment before he spoke again. "Just so you know, she was asking about somewhere she could shoot some pool and maybe get into a little trouble. I suggested this place, but I thought you should know that she might be looking for a fight."

Tommy nodded. "Oh yeah, I know."

The large man smirked. "I'd say you probably have your hands full then. But - if you guys need help, I'll have your back. She impressed the hell out of me today. And between you and me, she made me financially solvent until the New Year."

Tommy shook his head. "Somehow, I'm not surprised." He glanced at Jenny who was still at the bar talking to the bartender. "And thanks man. The bike is awesome."

Diesel held up his fist and Tommy bumped knuckles with him before Diesel wandered away. Quickly, Tommy racked the pool balls and had them ready by the time Jenny reached the table. She handed him a beer, took a drink of hers before she set it down and pulled off her jacket which she hung on a nearby hook. She dug in a pocket for a minute before she turned around and approached him. She looked at him appraisingly for a minute before she spoke.

"I don't know how big a deal this will be, but you're going to find that when this mood strikes me - especially this hard - that I'm going to say and do things that are not really the norm for me. You're going to have to figure out if you can deal with all this before it happens again."

He cocked his head and looked at her for a long moment. "Jen, I have a doctorate. I'm not exactly stupid. Besides, this might be good for me too, to let my wild side out a little bit."

"Oh, I'm looking forward to that later - I hope." She smirked at him. She nodded at the table. "Go ahead and break."

He grabbed a cue and hit the table. Three shots later, he missed and turned back to her. His eyebrows rose as she approached the table with a pool cue in her hand and a cigar in her mouth. She took her first shot before she addressed him. "What? Did you want one too?" she asked, indicating the cigar.

He shook his head. "Not my thing - Wolverine."

Jenny grimaced. "Um - no. That's his name." She moved to take her next shot.

Tommy thought for a minute as she shot. "Ah - I got it!" She looked at him curiously. He smirked. "Jamie."

She cocked her head. "What? Where did you get that from?"

"Feminine of James - Jamie. That's his birth name, right?"

She considered this for a minute and grinned. "I like it."

Tommy waved his hand at the table, grinning. "Keep shooting - Jamie."

A couple hours and several games later, a fight broke out at another table. Tommy looked over to assess the situation. He addressed 'Jamie'. "Incoming."

She stepped aside and a body crashed into the table, causing the remaining balls to move out of their positions. She growled and looked at him. "He's messed up the set up, babe."

He tilted his head, a gleam in his eyes. "Time to play?"

"Oh yeah." With that, the pair launched themselves into the fray.

Thirty minutes later, Tommy and Jenny were facing their last opponents. Before either one could strike, Diesel's voice rang out. "Hold on!" All four paused. "Everybody needs to relax. All four of you are on the same side."

'Jamie', without taking her eyes off the man in front of her, snarled, "What side is that?"

"My side." At this, Tommy eased out of his stance, as did the man in front of him. The man facing her, however, pulled out a blade. Diesel spoke again. "Tank, that's enough."

"No. I'm not letting it get around that I got my ass whipped by a woman."

"You don't drop that blade right now and I'll guarantee that you'll get an ass whipping you'll remember," she snarled at him.

Tommy spoke up. "If you stop now, it'll be because Diesel told you to. If not, it'll be because she made you. Which one will hurt your pride less?"

There was a long pause then Tank returned his blade to its sheath. 'Jamie's' eyes narrowed for a moment before she straightened up. Tommy spoke again, "Come on, babe. We're outta here."

She moved around Tank and over to Tommy's side. He draped his arm over her shoulders and they headed back toward their table to get their jackets. Suddenly, Tommy heard the sounds he had been listening for. He whipped around, snatched the knife out of midair and threw it, burying it more than a half inch into the floor between Tank's feet. Tommy hands clenched into fists as he stared the other man down. "Go ahead and try that again. I can tell you where the next one will go." His tone was cold as ice.

Diesel addressed Tommy. "You guys go ahead and go. I'll take care of this."

The pair retrieved their jackets and headed for the door, making a quick detour by the bar to give the bartender some money to cover the damages. Silently, they made their way to their bikes. They mounted the bikes, but before they started them, Tommy suddenly turned to her with a grin. "You know, I think 'Jamie' and 'Tom' might need to get out more often."

Slowly, she grinned back and shrugged. "I guess we'll have to see. I know that 'Jamie' will definitely make her presence known, but we'll just have to see about 'Tom'."

"Oh, I think he'll definitely be around - maybe even more often that she is."

Shaking her head, she started her bike. Raising her voice over it, she said, "I think they aren't quite ready to be done for the night, do you?"

Now his grin mimicked Logan's feral smirk, "Not quite yet." Quickly, he started his bike and they hurried home. Once home, they put the motorcycles in the garage and hurried into the house. The door was barely closed before he had her pinned against the wall, kissing her hard. She was kissing him back just as hungrily. He pulled back just enough to speak. "I get the feeling that Jamie likes it a little rough."

Her eyes smoldered up at him. "I guess you'll just have to find out" she answered, her voice husky. He groaned and captured her mouth again, his hands busy all over her. It only took a moment for him to unfasten her jeans and slide his hand inside. She whimpered as his fingers moved over and inside her. With his other hand, he pulled the collar of her shirt aside and locked his mouth on her shoulder. The combined sensations had her at the peak in no time and she convulsed against him. When he released her, he bent swiftly, threw her over his shoulder and took her upstairs to the bedroom.

He set her down and all but tore her clothes off before putting her on the bed. Pausing only long enough to remove his jacket and boots, he joined her on the bed. His voice low and rough he spoke. "Oh yeah. I still need to thank you for the bike." He grinned wickedly before settling himself between her legs. Four orgasms later, he stripped quickly and thrust into her, moving fast and hard. He fastened his mouth on her other shoulder, biting lightly and leaving a matching mark. As he reached his own pinnacle, she shrieked in completion once more and then went totally limp. He caught his breath and lay beside her, pulling her close. Just before he fell asleep, he whispered, "God, I love you."
