A/N: Thank you to everyone that has reviewed/followed this story and as well supported my other stories. I am posting this chapter because the writers block lifted a little, but unfortunately I had some very viscous and disturbing feedback on another story, which I must say was eye opening. I have no issue with honest constructive criticism, but when it becomes full of profanity and insults, that is something else entirely. I love writing these stories, so I ask graciously to please review for me to get a real pulse of everyone's thoughts. I hope everyone enjoys, and as always, special thanks to Hunterpleasure, PrettycrazyTripleHFan, APSnowball, KingofKingsFan, and Loveme3135 for always showing love***

It was raining now. Pilar could never sleep through a rainstorm, even with the most comfortable arms locked around her body. She turned around, taking a look at her new fiancé. Hunter was asleep, which she had already known based on the way he breathed deep and evenly. Hunter looked so peaceful. With his very rugged appeal, but in his sleep, it was a totally different story. Pilar felt a sense of contentment as she watched him. Her fingers traced his hard but slightly stubble jaw line, unable to fight the smile on her face. Her mind traveled back to his sweet proposal, and the baby growing inside her belly.

His eyes were still closed by the time Pilar came out of her pleasant thoughts. She kissed each eyelid of his. As soon as her lips made contact, Hunter awoke. He noticed Pilar was staring at him, the smile on his face growing as Pilar refused to look away. "Good morning to you too." He said. Hunter tightened his arms around Pilar, giving her a kiss on the forehead. The warmth provided by his muscular arms allowed inner peace that Pilar had not felt in over a month. They had made love several times during the night, make up sex was always the best, so passion filled and intense with needing one another.

Pilar smiled as she rested her chin on Hunter's upper chest. "A good morning it is."

Hunter placed another delicate kiss to her lips, before getting up to his feet. He put on his jeans and turned back to Pilar. "We should get going soon. Want me to fix you something to eat before we hit the road?"

Pilar looked puzzled, as she ran her fingers through her raven locks. "Going…?"

Hunter sat back down on the bed, and lightly caressed her cheeks. "Yes, I need to get back to Dylan…And we need to tell him about his brother or sister."

This was the last thing Pilar wanted to hear, she had no intention of going back to Manhattan, well at least not until the baby was born. She knew nothing good would happen back there. "I'm not going back, at least not for a while."

Hunter was afraid of this, and he was prepared. "I promise things will be different back home, I will get security for the Penthouse, this way Dean cannot have access to you…I cannot leave you here, and I cannot leave Dylan."

Pilar pondered over his words, she knew they made sense, well the Dylan part, and now that her and Hunter have made up, she really would miss him.

Hunter knew Pilar, and he knew she was trying to convince herself. "You shouldn't be alone out here, you are not close to neighbors and God knows what could happen. Please…?"

Pilar smirked at Hunter's attempt to pout like a child. "Fine." She bit her bottom lip. "But you have to promise me something."

Hunter didn't like this, but he took the bait, as he arched his eyebrow in a questioning manner. "Uh oh…What…?"

Pilar smiled, thinking that he is trying to keep it together. "First, I not only need Dean to be kept away from me, but you will need to handle Christie, I mean, coming to some sort of settlement to get her out of our lives."

Hunter smirked devilishly, before giving Pilar a slow kiss on the lips. "That is already covered…What else…?"

"Really…What is the plan…?"

Again Hunter smirked as he pinched her nose. "My job is to keep you stress free, so you will have to trust me…What else…?"

Pilar now had a pout of her own. "No fair, but I won't push it right now…Secondly, what about Roman…?"

Hunter's smirk turned into a deepening frown, he still has not forgiven Roman, and the anger is still there deep within. "We will not discuss Roman, he is dead to me…"

"Like Shawn…?" Pilar did not want to fight, but so much pint up anger was not only unhealthy for Hunter, but to their relationship. "I will be the first one to say I don't like Roman, but I would be willing to try because he is your brother, and you cannot change that, no matter how much he has hurt you…You have to deal with your pain so you do not blow up again, it is not healthy…And, what about Dylan? He is Roman's nephew, and he has already had to deal with so much from his mother…"

Hunter counted to ten in his head, he definitely did not want to start off their day on the wrong foot. "Sweetheart, I love what you are trying to do, really I do…But what Roman, did is unforgiveable…He fucked my wife, and then the stealing from me…How do I forgive that? I can't and Dylan will understand, I promise."

Pilar slowly began to stroke Hunter's back, she knew he was a proud man, and she knew he kept things like this buried, but what would happen if something else is to come out about Roman, will there be another meltdown? She needed to help Hunter. "Baby, I realize cheating is awful, and I cannot sit here and say I understand the betrayal you feel, but who are you hurting….Yourself or Roman?"

Hunter wanted this conversation to end, so he started to rub her belly and then kissed her on the forehead. "I'm fine…Dylan and you will be fine…Let's get your stuff so we can beat the morning traffic."

Pilar silently sighed, but not from defeat, but watching Hunter try to keep everything together for her and Dylan. She made her mind up right then and there. She was going to reach out to the one man that could help her find the original source of Hunter's pain. She was going to reach out to her father as soon as possible for him to actually put his people out to determine if Shawn was actually dead or not. If he wasn't Pilar knew what she had to do for the healing process to begin for Hunter. She wasn't going to breathe a word to Hunter until she had proof.

Hunter's Penthouse…Manhattan, NY…

After arriving home, Hunter decided to take his last day off from the office so he and Pilar could tell Dylan together, once he arrived home from school. Hunter could not help but to watch Pilar as they sat on couch together. He was so excited for this baby, and excited for he and Pilar to start their lives as man and wife. He knew things were going to be rough with Christie, but he had an ace up his sleeve, and shortly he was going to make it happen. He needed a couple more days and then he was going to hit Christie with his surprise, and boy she won't see it coming. Pilar twisted herself within Hunter's embrace, and a big smile appeared on her face. "What…?"

Hunter had barely removed his hand from Pilar's stomach since they arrived back home, he felt he has missed entirely too much and he was going to make up for that starting today. "Nothing…You are so beautiful…"

"Yeah right, I'm getting bigger and bigger…I can't even wear my old clothes anymore…" Pilar pouted and she placed her hand over Hunter's

"Aww, you look beautiful to me…No…You are beautiful and sexy…" Hunter dived for Pilar's neck, and the two became entangled on the couch, but that was short lived as Dylan came bursting through the front door and into the living room.

Dylan stopped in his tracks and happily ran towards Pilar, and he hugged her too. "Your home…!"

Ana stood back and she couldn't help but to dap her eyes. Hunter was finally on the road to having a happy and peaceful life. "I told you there was a surprise waiting for you, Dylan."

Pilar held Dylan back to look at him. "Wow, someone has grown within a month…Must be fighting the girls off with a stick…"

Dylan blushed a little. "Naw…" He stood in front of Hunter, and then playfully punched him in the arm. "Why didn't you tell me Dad…?"

"Ouch…No more going to gym with me…" Hunter mocked his grimace. "Besides, if I told you, it wouldn't have been a surprise, knuckle head…"

Dylan sat down in between Pilar and Hunter. He was very happy, not because he thought of Pilar as his mother, but she was family and things seem to be a lot happier when it was just Pilar and his Dad. "So, you're staying right…?"

Pilar leaned in and scuffled Dylan's hair. "Yes, who else is going to keep your Dad in line?"

Dylan and Pilar high fived one another, and then burst into laughter. Hunter couldn't help but smile too, things were just easier with just the three of them together. But, he knew the time was now to tell Dylan. "Kiddo, we have something to tell you…"

Pilar straightened up, but continued to smile. She held Dylan's hand. "Your Dad and I have something to tell you, but we need you to keep an open mind. Okay?"

Dylan nodded, but then became rigid. "You're not leaving again…?"

Hunter rubbed Dylan's back, he knew his son has been through so much with his bitch of a mother. He also knew Dylan needed to know the truth, no matter if this is Dean's child or not, it was going to be raised as a Helmsley and it would be Dylan's brother or sister. "Kiddo, remember you asked me a long time back, if I would be ever having another baby, and I said I would."

Dylan looked at Pilar, and he really studied her. He now noticed the extra weight, and his eyes widened slightly. "Are you telling me…?"

Hunter cut in. "Now before you get upset, I want you to know you will always be my first born…But, yes Pilar and I are having a baby, it will be your little sister or brother."

Pilar bit her bottom lip as she looked to Dylan for a response. "I know this must seem like a shock, but you're Dad and I love each other, and all of us will be a family."

Dylan was still quiet, and Ana couldn't even read what was going on in the child's head. Hunter continued to stroke Dylan's back. "Do you also remember what else we talked about? You being there to teach this little person…You will be so important to this child, you will be the big brother…"

Dylan raised his hand. "Stop Dad…I'm fine and I'm happy about it…Just as long as you two are staying together, and I'm staying with you, I'm cool…"

Pilar was over joyed. "Really…?"

Dylan turned to face Pilar, and held out his pinky. "Swear on it…"

Pilar and Dylan proceeded to do their pinky swear, and Hunter breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, something good for his son, and he looks to be happy. "Dylan, there is one more thing, Pilar and I are going to be married once the divorce is finalized from your Mom...You okay with that too...?"

Dylan again sat and pondered, he wanted his Dad to be happy, and he really liked Pilar. "I'm okay with that, but what about Mom? Will she be okay?"

Hunter ran his fingers through his hair, he wanted to give the best response possible, and one that would be believable. "Your Mother will be fine, in fact she has found someone special herself...So don't worry, she won't be alone."

Pilar took Dylan's hand and held it softly. "Dylan, I will never try to replace your Mom, I want to be your friend, and family too...Does that make sense...?"

"Yeah, I like you Pilar, you make my Dad happy...I just don't want to forget about Mom..."

Hunter smiled because he could tell by Dylan's voice he was okay with everything. "Thank you...I promise we will all be happy...Okay kiddo, go upstairs and start your homework, and then I'm taking you and Pilar out for dinner…"

Dylan stood up, but not before giving Hunter a hug, and telling him he loved him. "Always the slave driver, but nothing fancy…Pilar and I want cheese burgers…" Dylan laughed as he headed upstairs.

That brought forth a huge smile to Pilar's face. "Yeah, Dad…Cheese burgers…"

Hunter shook his head, but then slowly went back to Pilar's neck, and mumbled onto her flesh. "Everything will work out, you'll see…"

Ana gave the two love birds their privacy, but as she headed towards the kitchen, she stopped at the commotion at the front door. "Dios Mío…" She muttered, and thought what now. When she opened the door she saw a very crazy looking man being questioned by the doorman. Hunter's security men are to be arriving shortly, but obviously not soon enough. "Who are you and what do you want…?"

Dean licked his teeth, and rudely barged right by Ana. "Where is my wife…I know she is here, I have been watching this joint and I saw her walk in with Hunter…Where is she…?" Dean loudly spoke as he continued to side step Ana and the doorman. "Sir…SIR…!"

Hunter did not have to look up, he knew by the annoying voice who it was. He stood up and ordered Pilar to go upstairs. As Dean walked into the living room, Hunter blocked his path. "You are not wanted here, and if you don't get out…" Hunter had to stop because he wanted to say he would throw him out himself, but he had to think of Pilar and the baby. "I'll call the police…"

Dean stared at Hunter. "And say what? I'm here to see my wife…"

Hunter slowly backed Dean up against the wall, and his voice dropped to a low growl. "Asshole...You are not seeing her now or ever…Get the fuck out of my house, before I throw you out, you worthless piece of crap…"

Dean laughed at Hunter's attempt to frighten him. "Oh, so tuff big guy…I'm not leaving…"

Pilar had been standing at the top of the stairs, she wanted to make sure Hunter and Dean did not become too loud to alert Dylan of a problem. Just as she feared, Hunter was slowly losing his cool and she knew Dean would not leave until she went downstairs. She looked over her shoulder one time to make sure Dylan was still in his room, once she was certain, she went down stairs and approached Hunter. "It's okay, let me talk to him, so he can leave…"

Hunter was boiling inside, he wanted to hall off and punch Dean, but he sucked it down for Pilar's wellbeing. "Go back upstairs, I can handle this…"

Dean continued to laugh. "Really…I would love to see you try…" Dean knew exactly what he was doing, pushing Hunter to hit him, which would leave Pilar vulnerable.

Hunter cracked his neck, but to Dean's surprise, he didn't hit him. Hunter was too smart for that and he had too much too lose to make Pilar upset again. He promised Pilar he would keep his temper in check, and that is what he had do, for now anyways. "Nice try, jackoff…" Hunter reached in his pocket and began to dial 911.

Pilar felt so proud of Hunter, but she knew it wasn't easy, and if she wasn't pregnant and Dylan were not home she would have gladly let Hunter knock out Dean. "Just listen to him Dean…Get out…"

Dean tried to move closer to Pilar, but that proved to be very stupid, as Hunter grabbed his arm and began to twist it. "I can still place the call with one hand."

Dean raised his free hand to say I surrender. "Fine, but you can't keep me away from what is mine…She is my wife and carrying my baby…"

Hunter looked over his shoulder to see the outraged look on Pilar's face, before he could react, Pilar was on the other side of Dean and slapped him. "This is not your baby…STOP SAYING THAT…!"

Dean loved it, even though it was not the reaction he was looking for, but it was an reaction all the same. "Oh yes it is, and you know it…."

Hunter let go of Dean, and held onto Pilar from behind. He leaned into her ear to try and stop any pain that maybe coming. "Don't let him do that…I'm here, and our baby is fine…Okay, sweetheart…"

Pilar took several deep breaths as she felt the tightening in her stomach start. She had to get ahold of herself, for the baby and for Dylan not to hear. "Call the police on this bastard…"

Hunter held onto Pilar with one hand, and began making the call, but Dean started to back up. "I'm leaving, for now, but you can't hide behind Hunter forever…" Dean continuing to drive his point, blew a kiss at Pilar as he walked out.

Hunter was so mad, it took every fiber in his body to not explode on Dean. He quickly pulled himself out of his thoughts, and kissed Pilar on the side of neck. "Are you okay…?"

Pilar nodded as she held onto Hunter's arms for support. "I'm sorry, but that is why I didn't want to come back…He is not going to stop…"

Hunter turned Pilar around to face him, and cupped her face. "Baby, I'm the one that should be sorry…The security detail starts first thing tomorrow morning….I promise from here on out things will be okay…"

"Will it? What if Dylan overheard this? Then what do we tell him?"

Hunter could see Pilar was in overdrive. "Yes it will, and Dylan didn't hear a thing…You know why, because I know my kid well enough that he would have already been downstairs…He probably has those Beats headphones on and heard nothing…So please, calm down…"

Pilar nodded, but she still felt badly. "What are you doing now…?"

Hunter was headed straight towards the doorman, who was standing looking rather foolishly. "What the fuck was that…?"

"Mr. Helmsley, he said he was your brother in-law…"

Pilar rubbed Hunter's back. "It is not his fault, Dean was being Dean and lied…"

Hunter narrowed his eyes and started pointing at the doorman. "I don't pay you to think, if something like this happens again, it will be your job…"

The doorman nervously tipped his hat. "Yes sir, there will be no more problems…"

"See that there isn't…" Hunter snarled as he slammed the door in the man's face.

Pilar couldn't help but to laugh. "That wasn't right…You're not right…"

Hunter smirked as he shrugged his shoulders. "I was nice, he could have been knocked on his ass."

Pilar looked up towards the stairs. "Are you sure Dylan didn't hear…What if he is upset and pretending…?"

Hunter eyes widened before he lunged at Pilar, and scooped her up. "I see those motherly instincts are in full swing…"

Pilar laughed, and hit at Hunter's chest. "Put me down…I'm too heavy for that now…"

"Nonsense…You are as light as a feather…" Hunter grinned as he walked upstairs towards Dylan's door. He placed Pilar down onto her feet ever so gently. "Shh…" Hunter slowly cracked open Dylan's door, and what he and Pilar saw was exactly what he knew his son was doing. Dylan was bobbing his head up and down to something Hunter had no clue of what it was. "See…"

Pilar leaned into Hunter's chest. "Okay…"

Hunter slowly and quietly closed the door, and backed Pilar up towards the wall. "Trust me…Everything is going to be fine…" Hunter leaned into Pilar and kissed her, but in his mind he knew he would be paying Dean a little visit. No one was going to come between him and Pilar again, and most certainly no one was going to hurt their child. Even if it met putting Dean down permanently.
