"Oh, I do believe you are correct. But what is to say that I don't have… alternate ways of getting what I want?"

Another man, dressed in flowing emerald to the others uniform black, stepped through a door to the right. One Kagome knew hadn't been there before.

A spell maybe? Some kind of concealment? She hated not knowing what these people were capable of, but she'd never had much of an opportunity to observe.

Turning to face this new person, shining blue met deep brown with a frown.

"You are not the one in charge, either." Not a question.
