USAGI'S P.O.V.

I was woke up by my alarm going off, more than that, the song that was playing was what got me to sit straight up in my bed. I can't believe it, they were playing the song I finished last night.

'That was Demons by Yuu Takeshi. I don't know about you, but this band is taking Japan by storm. They came from no more than a school band, than they sort of blew up over night.

One day their playing reeky dink shows, the next their having sold out shows after sold out shows. Than again out of no were, the lead singer Usagi, disappears. I mean, in the peak of their time, she's just gone.

Everyone is asking the same thing, Where did she go? Will she come back? Is she in some sort of scandal or is she in trouble and just hiding? All theses questions and no answers.

But the truth is, will she come back for her band in time before it's too late, or, will she stay away long enough for the band to fall apart. Well, that's what we got for that band so far, now let's move on to the new band that might be replacing Yuu Takeshi, and their called Prime Scheme.'

I reached over with my hand and slammed it down on top of the alarm clock. "I can't believe they just said that. Me not being there for the band will have them fall apart, who does he think he is, making accusations like that." My mind was racing a mile a minute. I got it.

I flew out of bed, not bothering to change clothes. I busted through the door to the main room and startled L. He spun around in his chair and saw me standing there, with my hands on both sides of the door frame.

"Yes?" He asked. I walked over to L and stood over him. He was looking at me with what I could decipher to be a confused look. "Do you know what I just heard on the radio?" I asked him.

"No". Was what he replied with. "Well, let me tell you what I heard". I told him and we was just staring at me with a look that just said I wasted his time.

"What would you like me to do about it?" He questioned. "I would like you to let me out to throw a concert, to let Japan, the world know, that I'm still alive and well. And to let them know that Yuu Takeshi isn't going anywhere".

I told him what I wanted to do. I need to do this, I have to do this, and I can only do it if he let's me off my leach. "I don't think that is a wise idea Usagi". He stated.

"What is there that I need to worry about, there will be guards everywhere, there will be no one wanting to kill me, Kira doesn't know that I have a connection with you, L. What is there that I should fear?"

I wanted to know, I have to know why he want's to keep me locked up like this. I haven't done anything wrong in a while, and I've done any and everything that he has asked of me, he owes me this and he knows it.

"I will set up the date, I will pick out the guards and you will not be out of Aizawa's site. Am I understood?" He asked me. I could tell that he was serious in what he said. "Yes, L". I said with a smile and through my arms around him.

He went stiff, but soon relaxed and just sat there. "I'll call the band and let them know what's going on". I told him, "Let me set the date first and then you can call them, but in the mean time, you can go get me some more cake". He told me.

I wasn't about to say no to him, so I got him his slice of cake, two slices of cake actually. I sat them down by his keyboard and sat beside him, pulling out some paper work that I haven't gone over yet.

I don't know how long I sat there, reading over paper work after paper work. "Hey, L. I found something", I looked up at him and saw him looking down at me. I held the paper up to him and he took it. The I held the other paper work up to him too.

I saw a hint of a smile on his lips. "Very good Usagi". L said to me. "Watari?" L pushed in the button to get Watari's attention. "Yes, L?", he replied with. "Come to the main room, I have something for you to look over". L said to him and looked back down at me.

"You know that this means that Chief will not be pleased?" He asked me. "But, it's a suspect". I smiled up at him. "Yes, L?", Watari came walking into the room.

L held the papers out for Watari to take. Watari looked over them for a few moments, than smiled to himself. "Well, L I do believe you have a suspect". Watari said to L.

"Usagi was the one that found that clue". L said and spun around in his chair. Watari looked at me and smiled, "Well, she was supposed to be trained as the next L, after all". He said to L.

"I'll bring you both some cake". Watari told us, and walked away to bring us what he promised. I stood up and walked over to the couch. I plopped down and relaxed into the comfy-ness.

"I'll call the Dome and find out when they will be able to set up for a concert for you and your band". L said, and went back to work. I haven't been so happy in my life till now. "Thank you. When will the Task Force be here?"

I question the dark-haired man. "They should be here, now". I looked at one of the monitors that showed the security footage of the lobby. They were just entering the elevators.

"Will you tell them?" I asked L, "Yes, I will tell them when they've sat done", he told me. The door opened and in walked the Task Force. The sat down in their seats and looked at L.

"Ryuuzaki, there where FBI agents that were killed of heart attacks", the Chief said to all of us. "Yes. I have already heard of this information". L said.

"And before you start asking questions, why I had you followed was because Kira was getting information that was stored on police computer systems. So I had all of you followed. The were only two family's that stood out to me, but the one that stood out to me the most, was the Yagami family."

"WHAT!", the Chief yelled. "Your family was too perfect. Your son is going into college to follow in your foot steeps. Light, he has a computer that is internet compatible, He is smart enough to hack into the police files and get the names and photos of the criminals that have died. I would not put it past him to do such a thing" L mumbled the last part to himself.

"And, I have found a Kira suspect". It seemed that everyone let it go about them being followed, at least for the time being.

The whole room erupted in 'who is it's' and how did you find him's'. "If you will all settle down, I will show you and tell you". They did as he said and settled down. "Here is the paper work that will bring you to the conclusion that I have come up with".

They were all looking through the papers, and couldn't find anything. "I don't see what you two see". they were nodding their heads in agreement.

"Think of the smartest person you know who has this class schedule". L said to them, then one by one. You could see what they were thinking. "Light?" Matsuda said.

"You think my son, is Kira!". Mister Yagami was pissed. "He is the only suspect we have that is smart enough and his class schedule matches these killings". L told them.

Watari walked in with cake in his hands an handed me mine and sat L's down on the desk. "Till there is more proof, Light will be monitored. Please understand Mister Yagami, this is a murder case, anyone is a suspect until proven innocent".

L told him and the Chief sat down on his chair again, looking older than before. "Your right, let's get to work so I can prove my son innocent". He said and got to work.

I spun around on my chair, feeling sorry for the man. The killer we were all after, was his own son. What has this man done, for Karma, to be such a bitch to him.

"Are you going to eat the rest of your cake?", I looked to my right to see L, looking at me and the cake. I stuck my fork in my cake and lifted it up and took a bite out of it.

"Yes, yes I am going to eat it". I told him "You have frosting on you nose", he said and went back fingering his keyboard. I tried to see if there was anything on my nose, but I just ended up going cross-eyed.

I ran my finger over my nose and found it. I saw it on my finger and stuck it in my mouth, then pulled my finger out, and it was clean. I had the feeling that something or someone was staring at me. I looked to my left to see L, looking at me with wide doe eyes.

"What, I'm not about to waste frosting". I told him. "Yes, that would be a shame", he stated and went back to his computer. What was that about? I just didn't want to waste good frosting.

"I will be going to To-Oh to take the entrance exam", L mumbled to me. "What!". I was a bit freaked about the news he just told me. "You heard me, I know you did, you were looking right at me as a spoke".

"L, are you really going to do that?" Was he stupid? "Yes, I am. I believe that it will be a necessary move for me to make to further this game". Game? H thinks that this is a game?.

"L, this is not a game. This is real life, if you die, you won't come back". I told him. "Making this move will insure my safety...for now" L said and then told the rest of the Task Force what he was going to do.

At first, they didn't like it, but as always, they agreed in the end. "So, it is set then". L then pressed a button on his computer and told Watari what was going to happen next.
