"Stay warm, you hear?"

"Yes Mom," Kagome said before giving her a hug.

"And stay safe!"

"Always."

Separating, her mother turned to Inuyasha. "And it was a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise."

"I have a feeling I'll be seeing you again soon," she said, glancing over at Kagome who gave her a small nod. "Take care. I'll be rooting for both of you in the races. Except when you race against each other." Her smile widened, eyes warm. "Sorry, but I have to side with family on that one."

Inuyasha laughed. "Don't worry. Just make sure to give her a call to console her when she loses. It will be rough since she has that winning streak going."

Kagome scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Keep dreaming rookie." She stepped over the Souta and gave him a hug. "Keep well my little genius."

He rolled his eyes as he clasped his arms around her. "And do try to keep this one," he whispered, his breath hot against her ear. "I really like him."

"Yeah, yeah," she said, quickly separating. Ruffling his hair, she smiled, turning to Inuyasha. "All ready?"

"Yeah."

"Bye. I'll see you both soon."

"Good luck, both of you!" they said, waving as they stepped through the gate.

Inuyasha let the taxi driver load their luggage. Smiling at him, she gave him a nudge. "See? That wasn't so bad, now was it?"

He smiled back. "No. It went better than I expected."

Grabbing his arm, she gave it a squeeze. "I'm glad." Even though it was time to get into the taxi, she didn't want to let go of his arm. Irrational as it was, she felt like letting go would leave her adrift forever.

"Let's go," Inuyasha said, bringing her back to reality. With a few taps on her hand, he pulled away, holding the door open for her. "After you, my lady," he said with a slight bow. Forcing a smile, she slid into the taxi, watching as he walked around and joined her on the other side. "You okay?" he asked as the taxi started moving.

She grabbed his hand, giving it a quick squeeze. "Yeah. Perfect."

Sango was sore, her legs feeling as though they were permanently stuck in the V she was currently laying in. She was also starving. Fortunately for her, her God of Sex was neither sore nor tired and was currently making sure she was getting the energy she needed if there was to be more sex. And she wanted more, soreness be damned.

"I could smell you making this," she said, pulling herself to a sitting position. "The question is, where did you get the ingredients?"

"I called the front desk. It's amazing what they'll do for you. I gave them a list, and an hour later they were at the door."

"So, not only can you perform the most mind-blowing sex on the planet, you also cook?" She took a bite. The omelet was every bit as good as it looked. "Marry me," she mumbled, mouth full of egg.

He chuckled. "I didn't think that was your style. Besides, I just moved in with my friend. I don't think she would be too pleased with me getting hitched so quickly."

Sango swallowed the bite. "That the girl who was with you?" He nodded. "You should bring her next time. She was cute."

He sighed wistfully. "If only it was that easy."

"She really has a thing for you, doesn't she?"

"That she does." He grinned, but looked uncomfortable talking about it. "But from what I'm hearing, you might be falling into that same trap."

She took another bite, chewing before answering. "There is one major difference."

"What's that?"

"I'm in love with your cock and that pretty little mouth of yours. She probably likes a little more than that." He laughed.

"I wish more people liked what I say."

"What? Oh no. That tongue of yours is wasted on speech. It should most definitely be used on other things." She watched as he got off the bed and started dressing, laughing as he did so. "Where you going?"

"Unlike some people, I have work to do. I'm already late."

"Boo," she pouted. "One more time – for the road."

"Already showered, sorry."

"Aww, please? Pretty please?"

"Oh, don't tempt me vixen. I already got far less sleep then I needed and already starting late."

Sango sighed. "But this isn't going to be a one-time thing, right? Please tell me this isn't a one-time thing."

He grinned, buttoning his shirt. "If that's what you want."

"Thank god," she said, relaxing. "Seriously. Fucking amazing." Leaning towards her, he gave her a peck on the cheek. Grabbing him, she smashed her lips against his, making sure to convey how much she appreciated the night before. He stepped back, slightly winded.

"Well then," he said, clearing his throat. Even Sango was a few shades redder.

"Sorry, was that inappropriate?"

He thought for a moment, then shook his head. "No. I think it was nice."

"Yeah? I thought so too."

"I'll see you around Sango."

"Yeah…" she said, watching as he left. Glancing down at her omelet, she pressed a hand to her lips. What the fuck is wrong with me?

oOOOo

"Kagome!" Stopping, she turned as Sango jogged up to her. "How was your trip?"

"Great! I… I really needed it. My head is clear, I am ready to get to work." She tilted her head, giving Sango an odd look. "What's up with you?"

"Kagome, you won't believe what I found." She took a deep breath, Kagome giving her a curious look. "I found the God of Sex." Kagome rolled her eyes, turning to continue her walk towards the simulator. "I'm serious!" Sango said, quickly falling into step beside her. "I don't think I've ever came so many times in one go. It was like… one long orgasm. The whole time. Completely mind-blowing."

"That's fantastic Sango. I'm happy for you."

"You have to try it."

"Sango!" She stopped abruptly, turning to face Sango. "I told you. My mind is clear, I'm focused. I'm happy for you, really. I am. But the HEAT races are around the corner. The entire purpose of the trip was to get me focused, and I am."

Sango blinked for a moment, then nodded. "You're right. I'm sorry. That was out of line."

Smiling, Kagome rested her hands on her shoulders, giving them a squeeze. "No worries. You're just being you. Is this magical sex god going to fly away?"

Sango thought for a moment. "I certainly hope he doesn't."

"Then he'll still be here after the HEAT."

Sango narrowed her eyes. "Don't you want to try it?"

"If you consider it mind-blowing, you have no idea how much I want to drop everything and meet this guy, but I…" She stopped. Clearing her throat, she let her arms fall back to her side. "We'll just talk about it after, okay?"

"Uh, yeah, sure," she said, watching as Kagome continued on without her. "No problem…"

oOOOo

Downing a water bottle, Kagome patted her forehead before stretching. She had been in the simulator most the day, and it was hotter than hell in there with all those electronics running nonstop. Outside it in the A/C, it was like she had stepped into a freezer. It felt good. While the simulator had kept her focused and busy, now that she was taking a break, the conversation with Sango bubbled back up to the surface. Glancing over, she found Sango chugging her water too. Seeing her looking, she smiled and gave a wave, like earlier had never happened.

What the hell am I going to do? It hadn't even been a day since she got back and already Sango was tempting her. For real… A sex god. It intrigued her to no end. This was Sango after all. If he impressed her that much, he had to be amazing. This is soooo unfair! she thought, crumpling the empty water bottle in her hand. Why couldn't you find this guy earlier?

Fortunately, a reprise from her thoughts came in the form of a text message. It was surprising to see Kikyo texting her. They had only met the one time so far, but exchanged texts every so often. Nothing major, but she felt they were slowly building a relationship.

Hey, sorry for the sudden notice, but would you mind meeting me for coffee or something? Let me know. Thanks!

Glancing down at the clock, she saw it was sent almost an hour ago. I got some good runs in. Might as well call it a night. "Dial Kikyo," she said, the phone beeping in compliance. It rang twice. "Hey, it's Kagome." She paused, listening. "Yeah, I got your message. I got some time. Let me get a shower first. I'll text you when I'm finished. Uh-huh. Yeah, I know the place. I'll see you soon."

She hung up before stretching again.

"What was that all about?" Sango asked, leaning against the railing for her simulator.

"Don't know yet. Going to meet Kikyo, so I'll be leaving first."

"Kikyo?"

"Hideki's fiancé."

"Ah." She stood, turning back to the sim. "I'm going to run a few more," she said with a wave.

Clutching her phone, Kagome headed to the locker room.

oOOOo

"I'm just going to cut right to the chase," Kikyo started, a serious expression on her face. "How do I get two guys to sleep with me?"

Kagome nearly spit a mouthful of her latte out. "Excuse me?" she said after quickly swallowing what she had in her mouth.

Kikyo's face was nearly firetruck red. "Yes, I know it's an odd question, but you're the only one I know to ask."

Carefully, Kagome shifted in her seat, glancing around. Her disguise was working. No one seemed to be paying them any attention and Kikyo had made sure to keep her voice low when she asked her risqué question. "May I ask why?"

Sighing, she sagged in her seat. "It's… complicated." For the next few minutes, Kagome listened as Kikyo replayed the past few days.

"So because he slept with that girl last night, you need to sleep with two guys?"

Kikyo nodded, blushing. An overwhelming feeling of cuteness radiated from her. It was all Kagome could do to stop from jumping over the table and smother her in hugs. "It's messed up, isn't it?"

"To be honest, I'm actually glad." Kikyo seemed surprised. "Really, I never much liked Hideki. The few times we've talked, well, he was a douche. I'm glad he's getting a taste of his own game."

Kikyo crossed her arms. "I don't want to do it."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to imply—"

"But it's not so bad," she continued. "Last night, the guy was a little too rough, but I think someone a little less… enthusiastic… and I could really enjoy myself." Kagome just looked at her, shocked. This was definitely not the same Kikyo she had spoken to before. "Am I wrong?"

Kagome found herself shaking her head. "No. Believe me, I know the allure."

Kikyo nodded. "Right," she said, sounding a bit dejected. "I know this is not what you want or need right now."

"Don't worry about it." Reaching across the table, she grabbed her hand, giving it a squeeze. "If this is what you want, I'm more than happy to help."

Downing the rest of her iced tea like it was spiked with alcohol, Kikyo took a sharp breath and nodded. "It is."

With a smile, Kagome sat back. "Okay then. First we need to stop at my place. We have a few more hours until the clubs start opening, and we have some stuff to do."

"We do?"

Kagome nodded before giving her a once-over. They look about the same size… "But first, we need to call Sango."

oOOOo

"God, why does she make it look so easy?" Kikyo asked, nearly yelling over the pulsing music. They were standing near the wall, watching Sango as she flirted with a few guys at the bar – and by flirted, was basically making out with them.

"Mostly because it is easy. A lot of people here want the same thing. You just have to let them know you're interested and they will take care of the rest."

"I don't think I have the confidence for that."

"Kikyo, please. Look at you. You're gorgeous." She grinned, looking her up and down. Fortunately, Kikyo was close enough to Sango to borrow some of her clothes. She was currently wearing a tight purple tube top with a black jacket and a pair of black skinny jeans. If not for Kikyo's relationship with Inuyasha, Kagome would have happily taken her home. Focus Kagome.

She shifted in place, blushing. "Sorry. I don't hear that too often."

"I can't believe Hideki is so blind. Why look elsewhere when there is such a gorgeous women right next to him?" Kikyo was smiling, but there was something behind the smile, like she was wondering why she did the same to Inuyasha. "Come on," she said, giving her a nudge. "Your turn."

"I don't know."

"Confidence," Kagome said, giving her another nudge towards the bar. "People will notice you. Trust me." Before the woman could doubt herself, she gave her a firm push, sending her on her way. From the wall, Kagome crossed her arms and watched as she hesitated slightly, perked up, then moved near where Sango was. Sorry Inuyasha, she thought, watching as the first guy moved in to hit on her. It seemed to go fairly well considering Kikyo got a drink from him, chatting with him as she sipped at it. Was it wrong for her to be helping Kikyo like this? She had seemed so determined, but now Kagome wondered if she could have talked her down. There was still some hesitation in her, like she wanted someone to tell her the entire thing was stupid and she should forget about ever doing it. After tonight, she wasn't going to have any issues with that, especially if it went as well as it was looking.

"Hey girl. You look lonely over here," a man said, sliding up next to her.

"Piss off," she said firmly.

"Fuck you too bitch." Kagome didn't even look at him, glad that he was gone.

She had no idea how long she had been standing there, but her legs were getting sore and she was regretting wearing heels. Kikyo seemed to be getting the hang of things. Kagome had already seen her sneak a kiss to one guy, and was currently making out with another. Granted, this was after a few drinks loosened her up. Perking up, Kagome watched as Kikyo leaned towards one, whispering in his ear. She looked like she was laughing as she spoke to the guy beside her. More words, and she turned towards Kagome giving her a thumbs up.

"That a girl," Kagome said, straightening from her place on the wall. Her smile didn't last long. Is this really okay? It was probably too late now. Kikyo seemed dead set on completing her mission. Sighing, she finally moved from her spot against the wall as she followed Kikyo towards the front of the club.

oOOOo

Kikyo was a lot farther gone than Kagome thought. The bartender had obviously helped the guys out, putting a bit more alcohol in it than normal. Either that or she was a complete lightweight. She helped the three to a hotel, introducing herself as her friend. The guys didn't seem to mind too much. As far as they were concerned, they believed they didn't have to share anymore. Sango had long since disappeared, but she figured something like that would happen.

Once in the hotel room, the tall, skinny guy struggled to remove his clothes as Kikyo giggled uncontrollably at his misfortune. As for the shorter guy, he was currently too busy trying to get Kagome in the mood to worry about what was happening to his original target. For the most part, Kagome let him hang over her, groping her, too drunk to effectively get her undressed, let alone in the mood.

Things happened fast. Once undressed, the tall guy wasted no time mounting Kikyo, who put up no resistance minus her instance on him wearing a condom. Kagome let them have some fun, seeing Kikyo's legs sway in the air as the guy held them against his shoulders.

Time to move this along I think, she thought, casually fighting off the second guys advances. "Why don't you get on top and ride him?" she suggested. The guy busy with her turned to look, shrugged and the two repositioned. Kagome didn't pay much attention as Kikyo busied herself hopping up and down on the guy. Instead, she turned to the man interested in her. "Why don't you join them?"

"Why don't you start undressing?"

Kagome thought for a moment. Reaching back into her pocket, she pulled out a hundred. "A hundred bucks to join in my friend there. Two hundred if you make sure you and your buddy use condoms." The guy looked at the bill, then at her.

"Seriously?"

"Yep," she said, pulling out another hundred.

The guy didn't think for long, swiping the money from her hand and shoving it in his pocket. "Easy enough." Standing, he unbuckled his belt and let his pants fall, pushing his boxers down with it. Rolling a condom on, he stopped Kikyo from moving, pushing her forward. Rubbing some lube on the condom to help ease himself in, Kagome gave a small smile as Kikyo reacted to the new addition. Welcome to the club Kikyo. The three bumped against each other, Kikyo yelling in pleasure as the two wiggled and thrusted inside her.

Kagome licked her lips, feeling that familiar feeling creeping inside her. Seeing Kikyo like this was incredible, and she had no doubt they would welcome another addition. Besides, seeing Kikyo's exposed breasts was tantalizing. Taking a deep breath, she released it slowly, closing her eyes. When she opened them, she got up. The three were too busy to notice her as she fished the two hundreds from the guy's pants, returning them to her pocket. To her surprise, she found herself outside, the door closing behind her. Blinking in surprise, she glanced back at the door. If she was quiet, she could just make out the groaning and thumping of the three inside.

Did that seriously just happen? She looked down at herself, a smile spreading across her face. It did! She knew it was too early to celebrate. Had that been Sango in there, she would most likely still be inside. Still, it was a victory. Pulling her phone from her pocket, she sat with her back against the door and started crawling the web, killing time as she listened to the noises inside.

oOOOo

Kikyo jerked awake, Kagome's face filling her view. She was holding a finger to her mouth, warning her to be quiet. Blinking, she looked around, trying to figure out where she was. It was all so fuzzy and… why did she hurt? Wincing, she rolled out of bed with Kagome's help. Two men were snoring loudly. One was still on the bed, the other looked like he had fell off, face smashed against the floor.

"I have your clothes here," she whispered, handing her a wad of clothing. "Hurry and get dressed before they wake up."

"Did I…?" She paused, looking down.

"They used condoms," Kagome whispered, answering her question. "They just didn't keep them on when they pulled out." Kikyo nodded, her chest tightening. It hurt to walk. Her ass felt like it was on fire. Realization crept over her. Kagome was smiling. "You just had your first DP. How was it?"

"I… Don't remember."

"Maybe it's for the best. Neither of these guys seemed like they were that great in bed."

"I think I'm going to be sick," she said, holding her stomach. It slid on something slimy. Horror filled her as she looked down at the cum splattered against her belly that was now speared over her hand. She lost it, rushing to the bathroom as she vomited into the toilet. Kagome was only a step away, holding her hair up as she emptied her stomach. Spitting out the vile remnants, she took the small up of water Kagome filled for her and swished and spit before drinking the rest. She was so thirsty.

"Here, I'll help you." Feeling lightheaded, Kikyo watched as Kagome used the nearby toilet paper to get most of the drying cum off her, flushing it along with the vomit. Then, she helped her get dressed.

She watched as the clothing went over her body. "I'm getting stuff all over it," Kikyo said, sluggish as the urge to sleep threatened to overtake her.

Kagome chuckled. "It's Sango's. Definitely not the first time that's happened."

Managing a smile, she lulled her head around. "And you let me wear it? Gross."

"Come on," Kagome said, helping her to her feet. "Let's get you home." They were almost to the door when Kikyo whispered for her to stop.

"I need… two…"

"I already got them. Two, fully loaded. I put them in the baggie and in your purse."

Kikyo blinked. "Right. I brought a purse."

"Right here," Kagome said, holding it up. Nodding, Kikyo let her lead. Then, they were in a taxi. Leaning against Kagome, she sniffed loudly. Then another. Soon, it seemed like that was the only thing she was doing. She thought that maybe her allergies were acting up when she realized she was crying. Beside her, Kagome held onto her, running a hand through her hair. She thought she was saying it would be okay, but her voice seemed so far away. Then, there was nothing but darkness.

oOOOo

Waking with a start, Kikyo found herself in yet another strange place. Looking down, she found herself in a pair of soft pajamas, but had no idea how she got them or whose they were. Her head was killing her and the moment she rolled out of bed, she felt the dull throb from between her legs and ass. Memories floated by, but she wasn't sure if they were a dream or if they happened.

Finding the door, she opened it. The flood of light nearly floored her as nausea threatened to send her reeling.

"I have a big glass of water for you on the counter. As for breakfast, you'll have to forgive me. I might have burnt the bacon and the toast is a little done…" Blinking, Kikyo finally recognized the person the voice belonged to.

"Kagome? What… Where am I?"

"My house. The state you were in last night… I didn't think it would have been a good idea to drop you off at your house."

Groaning, she shuffled towards the tall chair by the counter. "Jesus… I don't know if I can sit. My ass hurts so goddamn much."

Kagome laughed. "Was that the first time you had anal?" Kikyo found herself blushing, not answering. "It's okay. It takes some getting used to. Even I have my days when a guy doesn't properly lube or is just too fucking big."

Wincing, she managed to sit. "Did last night really happen? Please tell me it didn't," she said before downing nearly the entire glass of water.

"Oh, it did," Kagome said, putting down the plate full of food in front of her.

"I only remember pieces, and even then…" She looked down at the food, her stomach growling angrily. She wasn't sure if it was because she was hungry, or if the sight disgusted her.

"Go ahead, eat up."

"I don't think I can stomach it."

"You'll feel better if you eat. If you throw it up… you'll feel better." Kagome leaned against the counter near the sink, crossing her arms as Kikyo took a bite. It was clear she didn't cook much. The food was… edible. Barely. Still, she didn't have to do this. She didn't have to do any of this. "So, how much do you remember?"

Kikyo chewed some overdone bacon, thinking. "I remember… the bar. Drinking. Two guys… A taxi ride?" She shook her head and regretted the motion. "It's all so fuzzy."

"So none of the actual fun part, just the pain in the morning. That sucks."

"Fuck," she said, dropping the bacon back onto the plate as she pressed her hands to her forehead. "Did I really just do that?"

"Yep. Both at once." Kikyo shot a glare at her. It was the first time she noticed Kagome was wearing a similar pair of pajamas, different design but same brand. The top was also half unbuttoned, not leaving a lot covered. "I think you enjoyed it."

"You cleaned me up, didn't you?"

"Well I wasn't just going to leave you laying there in filth. I got most of it off with a damp towel, but you probably want a nice hot shower after breakfast. I know the pajamas are a little tight…"

"No. Thank you." Her eyes burned as tears formed. "Thank you," she said, wiping at her eyes.

"Hey now. None of that." She felt her hands against her shoulders. "You did what you set out to do. No regrets. You think Hideki goes through this the morning after?"

Kikyo sniffed, wiping her nose. "I'm not Hideki. I should have never opened my big mouth."

"And where would you be?"

"Back at home," she answered bitterly.

"Doing this with another woman. Look, I know this isn't ideal, but you know Hideki better than anyone. Do you think this will work?"

"I thought it would."

"Then it will."

She shook her head, not really the best of ideas, but she managed to soldier through it. "It's not. It totally backfired. It's worse than ever."

"You didn't expect Hideki to just roll over, did you? Even I know he's not that type of guy."

"No, that's definitely Inuyasha." She realized what she said. "Sorry."

"It's true." She laughed. "Besides, I called your fiancé a douchebag, so I think we're even."

Kikyo chuckled. "He is an asshole, but I love him all the same."

"So stay strong. Don't let him beat you."

Kikyo was silent for a long time, staring at her food. She took another bite, forcing it down. "I've known being with him was going to be difficult. I still remember the first time I caught him cheating. I don't think I've ever felt so devastated. It was like someone shoved their fist into my chest and ripped my heart out. I could feel every excruciating second as they squeezed and squeezed." Kagome looked horrified. "I don't know why I didn't say anything then. It was supposed to be a prank. To surprise him on his birthday. Instead, I watched him screw one of the girls who helped out with the team. It wasn't even the first time, just the first I caught him."

"You didn't say anything?"

"No. I expected something to be different, but nothing. He acted perfectly normal around me. Kissing me with the same mouth that just…" She pushed on. "Even the girl. She just smiled, said, 'hello' like everything was normal." She sighed. "But my eyes were open and then I realized just how blind I had been. Hideki thinks he's clever, but he's terrible at covering his tracks. I guess I don't blame him. Who knows how long he'd been doing it before I caught him and I never noticed a thing."

"I hate the guy even more, but I guess I'm not any better."

Kikyo smiled. "I might have agreed with you, but after today… You didn't have to help me – with any of this. Yet you did."

Kagome shrugged. "It's what friends are for. To help each other do stupid things, then comfort them when they realize how stupid it really was." She gave her shoulder a comforting squeeze. Without thinking, Kikyo leaned forward and pressed her lips against hers. Almost as one, they jumped away.

"Shit, I'm so sorry!" Kikyo said, shaking. "I didn't – I mean…" What the fuck is wrong with me?!

To her surprise, Kagome laughed, holding her stomach as she struggled to contain it. Finally, she managed to regain some control, wiping the tears from her eyes. "You have no idea how much I wanted to do that myself." Kikyo felt her jaw drop. "But as much as I would love to continue that…" She had a pained expression on her face. "Even if you weren't already close to Inuyasha..."

"No, I totally understand, and it was stupid of me to even… I still can't believe I did that."

"That makes two of us. Have you ever been with a woman? Alone, I mean."

Kikyo felt her face heat. "Once."

"That's surprising."

"It was weird."

"Good weird?"

"I don't know."

"God, you have no idea how much I…" She cleared her throat. "I think I need another cold shower."

"Jesus. How am I going to face Inuyasha?"

"Hey, it was just a light peck. Nothing to get so worked up about." She thought for a moment before snapping her fingers. "A thank you for all my hard work last night. It will only be as awkward as you make it."

Kikyo nodded slowly. "You have no idea how much I owe you."

Kagome grinned evilly. "And you have no idea how long you'll be paying me for it." She tapped at the counter. "Now eat up. It's probably cold now."

"Where are you going?" she asked as Kagome headed down the hall.

"I wasn't kidding about the cold shower. At least you'll have plenty of hot water for yourself." With a wave, she headed down the hall. Kikyo watched for a few moments before turning to her food. Please tell me this was all just a really bad dream and none of that happened. When she didn't immediately wake up, she groaned, picking up another piece of bacon.

oOOOo

"And now you don't even bother coming home?" Kikyo said nothing, opening her purse, she set the baggie with the condoms on the counter. "Get that fucking shit off the counter."

Stay strong Kikyo. You can do it. She kept herself collected, casually glancing at her nails. "You know, I am learning all sorts of things. The best part of last night was that when one man was spent, the other was just getting started." She closed her eyes, like she was relishing the memory. In reality, she still had no idea what had happened last night. Hideki doesn't need to know that though.

"I'm not fucking around Kikyo. I'm serious. This shit ends now."

"It's perfectly in your power to do so. It ends when you decide it does."

"Kikyo…" His voice bubbled with anger.

She took a step forward. "I'm done talking about this Hideki. You know my terms. Every woman we share is one condom on the counter. A woman you bed alone is two condoms on the counter." Another step forward. "I'm not going to confront you like this anymore. I'm just going to put that condom there, a condom that another man fucked me with. Right there. Right there on the fucking counter." Another step. "And I'm not going to clean it up either. That will be you. Whenever you're sick of cleaning up after yourself, we'll talk." She moved to walk past him when he grabbed her arm, jerking her to a stop. "That hurts."

"Please don't do this," he said. It was pitiful, yet heart-wrenching. "This is too much. I can't…"

With a jerk, she pulled her arm from his grasp. "You think I enjoy doing this? Have you even considered what this is doing to me? No, of course you haven't! All you think about is yourself. That's why we're in this mess." She managed to get to the bedroom before she started losing her composure. Hideki was smashing things in the living room. She pressed her back to the wall, listening to the curses and yelling as he rampaged through the living room. Then there was silence. She held her breath, listening for the inevitable footsteps towards her. They never came. Instead, she heard the garbage can open and the dull thump of something falling in. Closing her eyes, she fought back tears. Once she felt like she was in control again, she headed to the closet to get a pair of fresh clothes. She needed it.

oOOOo

"Get your head on straight Hideki," Myoga said, throwing the towel at him. "Each time we run this, you consistently beat your worse time with one even worse."

Watching the exchange from afar, Inuyasha slid in next to Kikyo, who watched with her arms crossed. "What's with him?"

"We are going through some things." He raised his eyebrow and she looked him dead in the eye. She looked angry, but it quickly softened, like she remembered it wasn't him she was angry at. Instead, she looked guilty. "Sorry. It's… complicated."

"Anything I can do to help?"

"Do you have some sort of twin power to stop your brother from being a fucking asshole?"

He blinked in surprise as she gave Hideki death glares from across the room. "Uh… no?"

"Then no. You can't help." He watched as she walked off with a huff. Confused, but not really willing to risk getting involved and deeper, he still felt like she was running away from him. Pursing his lips, he tapped his chin. Did I do anything recently? He couldn't think of anything, which didn't mean he was completely innocent. Well shit, this is going to bug me all day. He turned his attention back to his brother who was still getting chewed out by Myoga. Something was definitely wrong. His brother seemed to be self-destructing. He wasn't even fighting back. And we have less than two weeks before the races.

oOOOo

"You seem to be in a good mood," Zoey said with a smile.

"I am in a good mood."

"I thought you would be feeling the stress since you start racing again next week."

Kagome shrugged. "Nothing I haven't experienced before. I'm feeling good. I've made some real progress."

Zoey smiled. "I know, and I don't want to subtract from your accomplishments, but I'm worried you are getting overconfident."

Kagome's smile faltered a bit. "I can handle it. I stopped myself with Kikyo both times."

"Yes, and that shows you've made tremendous progress, but now more than ever you have to be careful. One of the most stressful times in your career is coming up and you won't have your usual means of relieving that stress."

"I've started meditating and I've started doing some yoga to help me relax."

"All good, but you have to be mindful that it just isn't the stress. You get into a long stretch and you might think it would be a good time to reward yourself. Why not? You've done so well. Only that leads to another reward. And another. All that work crumbles and you are back where you started."

"That won't happen."

"I've seen it more times than I want to admit, and it's painful and antagonizing to rebuild again."

Kagome took a deep breath. "I understand. I'll be careful."

Zoey smiled. "This will be our last session until the races are out."

"It's only two weeks."

"A lot can happen in two weeks." Kagome gave a conciliatory nod. "I'm not going to lie, I'm concerned about these races."

Grinned, Kagome crossed her arms. "I'm not. Sango and I have been busting our ass these past few days and the maintenance crew has done some damn fine work."

"That's not what I'm talking about."

Kagome sighed. "I said I got it covered."

Zoey frowned, flipping through her notes. "How many men did you sleep with during the last HEAT races?" Kagome didn't answer, causing her to stop and look up. Her eyebrow rose in interest. There was a long pause as Zoey waited for an answer that would never come. Finally, she continued. "One of the main reasons you've stated is that you use sex for stress relief." She looked up.

Kagome uncrossed her arms, looking away, feeling annoyed. "I told you I've got that covered."

"I just don't want you self-destructing if you have a misstep."

"That won't happen!"

"I sincerely hope so, but we have to prepare for the unlikely case that it does." She lowered her notes. "Just… don't let it destroy all the progress you've made this far. I've had patients that make a mistake and suddenly think they are fighting a lost cause and in turn become a lost cause. I don't want that to happen to you." Kagome nodded. She understood where she was coming from. Though she didn't believe there was anything to worry about, she didn't dismiss it entirely. Zoey was always on top of things and this far had given no indication that she didn't know what she was talking about. Zoey nodded as well, a smile forming. "Good, but before we go into this more, I want to talk about Kikyo."

Kagome groaned. "Nothing happened. Nothing will ever happen." Kikyo is like family to him – will be soon enough. I will never do something like that to him. It was true that their relationship was warming, but it was just a blossoming friendship, nothing more. Even if she does have that amazing body… She quickly cleared the thought from her head.

"I only ask because you've mentioned her quite a lot this session."

"Only because she was involved in a major event. An event, I may add, that I successfully resisted joining." She cut off future questions by continuing. "And I'm not going to sleep with her. Ever."

Zoey smiled. "I never said you would."

Kagome eyed her suspiciously. "Then why all the interest?"

"This is a relationship you are interested in building that doesn't involve sex. Friendships like the one you are building with Kikyo will help you in the future."

Kagome nodded. "I guess that makes sense."

"Also, because Kikyo is a woman you clearly wish to have sex with, yet have an even stronger desire to avoid. I want to find out why."

Crossing her arms, she pressed her lips together. "Fine. What do you want to know?"

oOOOo

Hideki was on his back, hands tucked under the back of his head as he stared at the ceiling, his mind a million miles away. Beside him, the woman cuddled against him, using his arm as a pillow. He could vaguely feel her finger as she gently ran it up his chest.

"Hey," she said, her voice sweet. "Aren't you supposed to be engaged or something?" His jaw hardened, but said nothing. Her tongue ran along his nipple as she shifted to lay against him, her breasts pressing against his flesh. He heard her giggle as she looked up at him. "Isn't she supposed to like, be joining us or something?"

"I guess she had other things to do."

The woman shrugged and began to move down. "Her loss," she said before her mouth became busy with other things.

What the fuck does she think she's doing? While his body reacted on its own to the woman's efforts, his mind was elsewhere. The races start in a few days… His times sucked. Terribly. He was racing like some amateur in the G-3 or something, not the best racer in the world. All because of her. She just had to fuck up a good thing!

He vaguely followed the movements of the woman, her yells of passion a distance voice as she rose in fell in his vision. Yet the pleasure was dulled as he lay there, unmoving. If the woman noticed his lack of interest, she didn't show it. First she ruins my racing, now sex? It was getting out of hand. He needed to get back control of the situation. The woman atop him was bucking with wild abandon, screaming at the top of her lungs as she got closer. Hideki didn't much care at this point, he didn't feel the urge himself. Then, the woman stopped, her own orgasm causing her to fall forward onto him. But how? His current strategy wasn't working. Breathing hard, the woman rested, her weight pressing against him. Yet as long as he thought, nothing came to him.

oOOOo

Tears ran down Kikyo's cheeks. It wasn't because of the guilt. The time for that was over. Rather, she hadn't fully recovered from a few days back. It felt like her ass was on fire as the man rammed himself against her. In a twisted way, she was glad it hurt. She didn't want it to feel good. The pain was a not-so-gentle reminder that this wasn't Hideki she was with. But there was also pleasure. So much pleasure. She felt stupid judging Kagome for this sort of behavior. It felt good.

No wonder she does this so much. A moan escaped her lips, her body rocking with the two men. She was burning up, the heat of both men smothering her. Still, she didn't dare suggest they change positon, not when she was so close to cumming. How many times will that make tonight? Twice? Three times? Being on her own, she hadn't touched alcohol. Kagome wasn't there to help her. Still, it had been as Kagome said: easy. Oh so easy. Her confidence was at an all-time high. It felt good to be wanted – even if they just wanted her for the wrong reasons. Does Hideki even want me? She wasn't too sure these days. He barely even looked at her. Yet he continued to bring women home, as if to spite her. So she spent her evenings here, in a hotel, with other men. Though she usually did them one after the other, rather than both at the same time. Today, she just wanted it over with. Well, until this moment. She didn't mind if it continued a bit.

"Come on boys," she gasped, a smile forming on her lips. "Is that all you got in you?" No, no it was not. Spurred by her taunts, they kicked it up a notch. Body quivering, she screamed, enjoying the blissful release that overwhelmed her.

oOOOo

Scratching his bare chest, Hideki groggily shuffled out to the kitchen. He didn't let the woman sleep over, kicking her out shortly after they finished. He froze, his eyes falling on the single baggie sitting on the counter. Looking over his shoulder, he could just make out someone in the guest room, meaning Kikyo had come home last night.

Heart pounding, he picked up the baggie, eyes avoiding the two tied condoms inside. Below it was a note with two hastily scribbled words. I'm sorry. Had the living room not already undergone a massive removal of breakable objects, he might have gone on another rampage. He stared at the baggie. How many had he thrown away now? Too many. Far too many. He could see it taking a toll on her. She moved slower, sore from her night activities. It was especially obvious when she sat, that brief moment of pain that washed over her face. He had thought maybe, just maybe, he would overwhelm her. Day after day, he would wake to find another plastic bag on the counter. She never missed one day, and it was never short.

He found himself in the guest room. She was sleeping peacefully, so innocent looking, yet her eyes were still slightly puffy. She had been crying recently. Despite all this, she was beautiful. His beautiful angel, tainted. He had no idea how long he watched her. Stirring, she slowly opened her eyes. Seeing him standing above her, she suddenly shot awake, her eyes open as she scooted into a sitting position, putting her back to the wall. "W-what?" she said. Her eyes widened as she saw what he was holding. It was the terror she had when she met his eyes again – like she knew she had pushed him too far. "Hideki?" Her voice was higher than normal.

Falling to his knees, Hideki let the baggie fall out of his hand onto the floor. "You win," he said, voice cracking as tears rolled down his cheeks. "It's too much," he sobbed. "It's all too much."

She crawled out of bed, slowly sinking down before him. With his knees between hers, she reached forward to lift his chin. "I never wanted to hurt you, never, but… I couldn't live pretending everything was okay. I'm sorry, but I couldn't." He leaned forward, resting his face against her shoulder as he cried, his hands clutching at the front of her shirt. "It's okay," she said, fighting back tears as she ran her hands through his hair.

"I'll make it up to you," he said, muffled against her shoulder. "What do you want? I'll do anything."

She gently pushed him upright so he was looking at her. "A clean slate."

He blinked back his tears, struggling with his surprise. "W-what?"

Kikyo looked down. "This past week has taught me so much about myself." She met his eyes. "This was about you and me. I am going to be your wife – yes, I still want that more than anything." She took a deep breath. "But you haven't been acting like I'm your fiancé." She wiped the wetness from his cheeks. "I don't want to be the star-struck woman that will bend over backwards to be with you. I want to be your wife – your partner. Show that to me. Show me that I am special, that I'm not just another woman that passes through your bed."

"It was never supposed to be like that."

"But it's how it turned out to be, and all it brought was pain."

He shook his head. "I can change that."

"I know you can, because you always did. You just… lost touch with yourself."

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done this to you."

A small, impish smile crossed her lips. "I would be lying if I said I totally hated it."

He glanced towards the baggie. "And that? Does it stop?"

She followed his gaze. "I don't know."

He wiped his eyes. "What?" His voice was soft, confused. Even with everything that had happened, he hadn't expected that answer from her. Even she looked lost.

"When I started this, I hated it," she started, eyes flitting away from him. "Everything was just wrong. I didn't want to do it and hoped you would come around sooner rather than later." She sighed.

"And?"

She looked up. Meeting his eyes. "I won't lie to you. Things are different now. I'm different now."

Hideki's grip on her clothes tightened. He could see the fabric pull against her arms and shoulders. "I can't stand the idea of you with another man."

"You think it's any easier for me? I've been living with it for years. You barely had a week."

His grip on her shirt loosened. "So… what? We go back to our roots? Just you and me?"

Her eyebrow rose. "You could do that?"

"No," he answered without hesitation. There was no point in lying. He might have been able to do it for a time, but eventually he would fall back into old habits. Scummy, he knew, but that was just who he was. His father had been the same way. While he loved his wife, he loved many other women as well – some almost indistinguishable from his own wife.

Kikyo had an amused smile. "Good. If you answered yes, I would have slapped you for lying."

He shrugged. "I figured there was no point. You know me best." He took a deep breath. "So now what?"

"I honestly don't know." His shoulders sagged. "But I figure we'll have plenty of time to figure it out. Together."

Leaning forward, he gave her a kiss. Returning it, she let him lift her back onto the bed. He could tell she was sore, but she never told him to stop, encouraging him with a smile. A wince brushed her face as he entered her. Not wanting to hurt her, but unable to stop, he moved slowly, using her facial expressions dictate his pace.

"I've missed this," he whispered.

"I have too," she said before kissing him.

Things were going to be different now. How? He had no idea. His eyes never left her face, studying it as she moaned beneath him. He knew she wasn't enjoying it as much as she made it seem, at least physically. What that meant about her activities away, he didn't want to think about. Still, as he studied her once familiar face, it was clear something had changed in her. Something was there, something new. The way she moved beneath him, her impassioned voice, the way her fingers trailed against his back. This was a new Kikyo. Was this a good thing or bad? He didn't know. Not yet at least.

Things are going to change, he thought as he pumped himself against her. He took a few moments to listen to her gasps, timed to match his thrusts. There was so much more feedback now. Her voice, the way she squirmed under him. She was no longer a mostly passive partner. There was a feeling of hunger radiating from her. A hunger for more – even if her body was protesting. It was exhilarating. And it only took how many men to do this? He almost kicked himself thinking about it. That was something he did not want to think about. Not now. Probably not ever. Had it been like this all along… He didn't want to fool himself into thinking he wouldn't have played around. Still, it would have never gotten as bad as it did.

His thoughts were interrupted by a more primal need. Spent and exhausted from the physical and emotional ride, he lay on the bed, Kikyo beside him. Both were breathing hard staring at the ceiling, silent in their own thoughts.

Hideki was the first to speak. Even to his ears, his voice sounded detached – like it belonged to someone else. "I love you. You know that right?"

From the corner of his eye, he could see her turning her head to look at him. She was smiling. "I know. And I love you more than anything."

He still didn't look over at her, his eyes focused on some distant spot on the ceiling. "You know… I hear Natalie and Jarred have an interesting marriage." Kikyo's smile faded and he turned his head to face her. "Maybe it's something that would work for us."

She seemed unsure. It was surprising. He expected she would have jumped on it. "I don't know…" she said, fidgeting. Raising her hand, she let it rest against her forehead as she looked back up at the ceiling. "God. To think I would actually be considering an open marriage…" She glanced back at him. "Would you be okay with that? Me… with other men?"

"No."

Was that sadness in her eyes? "I figured as much."

"I know it doesn't make any sense. Seeing you with another woman doesn't faze me. Quite the opposite." He went silent, painting a nice mental image of her and Minori… She gently punched him on the arm to bring him back to reality. "But another man…" He shook his head. "It doesn't sit right with me. I don't like it."

Turning on her side, she reached over to pat his chest with her hand. "We don't have to figure it out right now. You have more important things to focus on."

He looked down at her. "There is nothing more important than you."

She smiled. "Liar, and you know it. The HEAT races are just around the corner and you've been sucking something awful."

"And whose fault is that?" He played it off with a grin. She believed that racing would always be his number one priority. Maybe that had been true at one point, it might even still be true. If anything, he felt like they were tied now. Life without one of the two – well that wasn't a life he wanted to live. Hideki was a selfish bastard. He wanted his cake and he wanted that other guy's pie as well.

She patted his chest some more before resting her head against him. "Just focus completely on the race. I'll be right here by your side the entire time. After… after we can talk." There was a few seconds of silence before she continued. "But don't think you're getting a free pass once the HEAT is over. We are going to talk. When I say, 'I do,' we both are going to know exactly what we want and expect from each other."

"Yes, yes."

She gave a firm nod. "Good. Now I expect you to have your shit together tomorrow. It's embarrassing."

oOOOo

Myoga glared down at Hideki and Inuyasha. "Well, I suppose you're as ready as you can ever be," he finally said with a huff. "I was worried about you Hideki, but I see you managed to get your head out your ass."

Hideki just gave a tiny shrug with his smirk. "I just wanted to see you squirm."

Sesshomaru stepped forward. "Tomorrow starts our greatest challenge yet."

"Says you. It'll be a piece of cake, right Inuyasha?"

Inuyasha just shrugged. "Whatever you say."

"See? Even he agrees."

The four looked up at Inuyasha's machine, freshly polished to reflect the light of the hanger. Inuyasha took a deep breath. Tomorrow it all starts.

oOOOo

Getting into the final stretch! I've been sitting on this chapter a good while. After I tweaked the ending a bit, I finally decided to just go ahead and release it.

Hopefully everyone is still enjoying things. Until next time…
