So this is it everybody! The final segment of the story! I'll post an author's note when the sequel is up!
Again please be thinking of story titles for the series. They all should start with "My" but otherwise help. The next story, besides the series of one shots is going to be Iron Man 3. Whose ever title gets pick will get something that I have not determined yet.
And again...ADRIAN WILL NOT END UP WITH LOKI. She is again six. I, again, have potentials for her in my head, but it is going to be a long time until she becomes the age that warrants having a pairing made. Again...she is six.
Thank you all so much for the love and support you have shown not only me but the work that I and AnarchicMuse have put into the years this story has been created.
Give an encore standing ovation to AnarchicMuse because without her this story probably would have never truly been finished. ANARCHICMUSE RULES!
Disclaimer:I do not claim ownership of Marvel or Harry Potter but I do claim ownership of Adrian. Always.
"I don't care what Dumbledore says. The people want to know about the Savior. Get it done Kingsley!" Scrimegour shouted, before storming from my office, slamming the door with an almighty bang.
I relaxed into my seat, with a heavy sigh. Keeping such a big secret from both the Ministry and him was exhausting. I couldn't understand how Snape was able to put up with him on a regular basis.
It was a relief that Scrimgeour hadn't found out about the magical spike that had occurred during the alien invasion in New York. I knew the source of the surge could be no one but Adrian. Thankfully, I was able to mask it quick enough to keep it hidden from anyone who wished to do Adrian harm.
Having an insider made it that much easier to keep Adrian away from prying eyes. Hiding the fact that the Dursleys were in prison hadn't been easy either, but I'd managed it.
Having Tony Stark as a father would be good for Adrian, she would know how to deal with fame and all the unfortunate consequences that go with it when she was finally thrust back into the limelight. Not to mention, Stark had sway even in the magical community, even if he did not know it yet.
It was almost ridiculous how easy it was to keep her whereabouts hidden from the old fool. He was so sure his plans would going accordingly, that he would have his precious broken little Golden Girl awaiting at his beck and call, he hadn't even bother to check in on her in all of these years.
He probably assumed Adrian was still in her cupboard, recovering from a beating he'd paid the Dursleys, to inflict on her. Not with his own money, though, he wouldn't want to waste the galleons. The old man had the audacity to use the Potters' own money to pay for someone to abuse the child they sacrificed their lives for.
But once her eleventh birthday came, that would all change. It would become much harder for me and Snape to keep her hidden.
Once Snape had learned of the abuse the girl had endured, he had pushed aside his hatred for James and become an invaluable ally. And yet, at times, I couldn't help but wonder if we had what it took to keep Adrian Stark from becoming Albus Dumbledore's sacrificial lamb.
Only time would tell.
Well everybody….it's done. I thank you all for going on this journey for me. I thank you AnarchicMuse for the years you have worked with me. And do not worry.
Adrian Stark Will Return
