Chapter 26: CARTOON ZOMBIES PT. 9; Day 24
"Are you Prussia from Hetalia," Raven asked to Phil.
He put his newspaper down and said, "Young lady, do you not know what real entertainment is? Why do you not go from the ways of Japanese entertainment and go forth unto Opera," Phil said before he begun to read the politics section.
Raven's reaction became disgusted and anger to Phil's respond. Eddie, Cameron, Natalie, and Destin were playing poker that was called "Texas Hold 'em" in the attic.
"Read em and weep," said Destin, before he hit his cards on to the table, which were a king of spades and a king of aces.
Natalie then hit her cards down, which were an ace of diamonds, and an ace of spades.
The rest of the players began jeering at their defeat. But, before Natalie could claim her prize, there was a knocking noise that sound as it was just outside of the fort's walls. The group rushed outside and barely made it up the steps. The group looked over the palisades. There was the zombie army just outside which looked to be about six hundred of the undead in strength (the three hundred was from Gravity Falls and the other three was from The Amazing World of Gumball).
"Haha, motherfuckers! You cannot get up," yelled Cameron Hill. "Nothing that the zombies couldn't climb the smooth brick wall."
"We wish to reason with you," said Crag.
"My dread sovereign, you have no right to rule over my people," said Phil before he lit the fuse of a cast iron grenade and tossed it into the crowd. The resulting explosion killed many and injured more.
"Now that is harsh, we were going to let you live but now we will find a way in," said the Crag
Three Days Later
The zombies tried many things. Trying to break the forts gate down, scaling the walls with rope and such, digging to the courtyard, blowing a hole in the wall, and even massing up trying to climb over each other to get to the group. But every time the group was able to deter them. In the morning, Destin was getting tired of the incessant noise, so he got up, went up the walkway, loaded a few cannons with canister shot, and lit all of the fuses. The resulting barrage of lead was enough to spread panic through the army, causing even more deaths. The leader Crag, was hit and he was unable to move. The zombies began to get Crag and got out of the scene. Some of the zombies actually went to the walkway. As the zombies was about to get Destin as snack, he then aim the cannons to the zombies. He then fire and the zombies went back outside.
The group ran outside and Eddie yelled, "What the hell are you doing!?"
"Dispersing the crowd!", Destin yelled.
Then Phil came out with a cup of Labrador tea. "My fellow citizens, I would recommend that you Phill. Ha! Get it? Those mortars with those bags," Phil said, before pausing to take a drink. "But, light the fuse after you put it in the mortar."
The group complied and put the charge in the mortars first then put the bags in.
"Fire!", commanded Phil.
The mortar loaders then lit the fuse and backed off. The bags flew pretty high until gravity was being a bitch and pulled them back down. Halfway throuh their decent the bags exploded showering a white cloud upon the zombies.
At first it did nothing until the cloud came into contact with blood, their eyes, and lungs. The powder was actually quicklime. This was literally a solid acid which would burn flesh and was incredibly toxic. But as they were zombies, the toxic didn't really apply to the zombies. The zombies numbers were now less then half of what it used to be. So the remaining ones fled.
"That was it? This so called great battle," said Cameron Henderson.
"No my human beings. When the enemy is driven back, we have failed, and when he is cut off, encircled and dispersed, we have succeeded."
"Well this was exciting, but I am going back to bed," said Natalie.
Back at the forest, the zombies was slowly healing.
"Crag," said the zombified Dipper. "It has appear that we been humanity by those humans."
"I know," said Crag. "It's impossible. We are unstoppable. How can we get them for their flesh."
"Well my master, I could check my book," said the zombified Dipper before he pulled his book out.
As he was flipping through the pages, he found a page.
"Crag, I have found something that could be useful," said the zombified Dipper before he show it to Crag and Crag grew a grin.
