The Queen
"Stop the ship!" Rock yelled, jumping down from the crow's nest. Sokkyo threw the anchor into the sea as Xaroz used a panel with various levers to close the sails. Rock jumped off the ship and started swimming towards what Xaroz and Sokkyo now saw was a girl passed out on a large plank of wood. She had pale skin as if she'd never seen the sun before. Her hair was dark black, it was un-brushed and wild extending down her back. Her right arm was a mixture of black and dark red metal, and her outfit was mostly black leather, it looked like a mix of a medieval corset and a modern-day business outfit. Her impressive bust could be seen through her cleavage which had various strings crossing in x patterns, and she was wearing what looked to be combat heels. And around her wrists were a pair of sea-stone shackles.
Rock brought her up onto the ship and proceeded to perform CPR. She quickly awoke and slapped him with her hands due to the shackles, backing up and looking around. "Pervert!" she yelled pointing at Rock with both her hands. "W-w-wha!?" Rock managed to get out. "I'm not a pervert! I thought you couldn't breathe!" he added. "SO YOU STOLE A KISS!?" she yelled back. "It's called CPR! Don't you know what that is!?" he yelled.
It took a while for everything to calm down, but once it had the woman explained who she was. "My name is Ashley Ashburn, many call me 'The Queen'," she said as she sipped some tea Xaroz had made during all the chaos. "The Queen?" Rock asked curious. "For a time I ruled over a small island off in the western part of the New World, although that island is dead now. I've been traveling on my own for the past year," she said, sipping more of the tea. "Yeah, and you've been causing all sorts of trouble," Xaroz said as he looked at a bounty poster. "Ashley Ashburn The Queen – 280,000,000 beli," he said reading off the poster. "She's worth more than you, Sokkyo," he said teasing Sokkyo. Sokkyo simply shrugged, "We haven't run into any celestial dragons."
As she said that, a newspaper dropped. Xaroz picked it up. "You won't have to worry about that anymore. It's official; Kikou has killed the last four Celestial dragons, and the church's surviving members. The world is officially without the leadership of the world government," he said, reading through the paper. While he did this, Rock stood up and extended his hand to Ashley. "If you don't have anyone to travel with, you could always travel with us," he said with a smile. "What, so you can kiss me again?" she said glaring at him. "N-Not at all!" Rock said taking out his picture of Victoria. "I have my one true love…" he said, his eyes shining brightly.
"I should warn you, the entire reason I was floating at sea was because I was caught by a large group of marines. The armada I was being transported on got attacked by a group of pirates and it helped with my escape. I have no clue if they're still tracking me.," she said. "We're pretty experienced taking down Marine Armadas," Xaroz said shrugging. "And we could use the numbers, it's pretty much just us three," he added. "WONDERFUL," a voice boomed as ships appeared. "We were afraid you had a large crew, but this will be a snitch. All together, you're easily worth over a mil! My promotion to Admiral will be ironclad!" a man said as he stepped out onto the bowsprit. "Looks like we're in for a fight," Rock said, cracking his knuckles as he stepped forward. "Cut my shackles and I'll fight with you guys," Ashley said holding up her hands to Xaroz. He quickly cut them then directed his attention to the ships around them.
Various canons were fired upon their ship. Sokkyo and Xaroz were about to take them out when the cannon balls stopped. Ashley had stood up as she moved two of her fingers causing the cannon balls to freeze. She then moved her fingers downwards causing the cannon balls to sink into the sea at high speeds. "Does this ship have cannons?" she asked. Xaroz nodded. "They're below deck. We don't really use them much," he said. "I'll be right back," she said going below deck.
When Ashley returned, various cannon balls were following her. She then moved her fingers upwards and then spread the two apart and started moving all 5 fingers of her left hand, causing the cannon balls to fire rapidly into the other ships. Xaroz noticed that every time she moved her fingers an arrow appeared for a split second in the direction the cannon balls were sent. "Since it's my first day I'll take care of these guys," Ashley said as she stepped forward. "Didn't these guy's beat you before?" Sokkyo asked. Ashley nodded. "But I was caught off guard," she said before a red arrow appeared under her as her body fired off the ship towards the others. She masterfully moved her arms and fingers, causing the ships to fly upwards and sink as she changed directions to dodge debris. She made quick work of the bounty hunter fleet, destroying their ships one at a time until the fleet was demolished. Once it was, she made her way back to the Goddess of Death.
"Impressive. If you don't mind us asking, what is your fruit exactly?" Xaroz asked interested. "To put it simply I can control vectors," she said as she held up a finger, red arrows appearing in a circle as she threw up a piece of wood that started to spin along the arrows. "I can increase the speed of things, redirect them, and even completely stop them," she said as the rock became caught within four arrows pointing at each other causing it to freeze.
Meanwhile Akihiro was in the middle of taking out CP7. He had already wiped out CP8. Akihiro never figured his ability to make everything silent would be so useful when it came to wiping out bases. As he silently cut through CP7's forces, Cai was causing a storm that brought fourth tsunamis and lightning strikes, cutting off any escape route and taking out the outer-defenses allowing the rest of the crew to join in.
Everything was going fine until five dense balls of water were shot at Akihiro. He was able to dodge them due to his haki, but this type of attack… "That power…" Akihiro said as the necklace around his neck glowed. "You don't deserve it!" he yelled as he sliced downwards with his katana, causing a wave of flame haki to flow towards the man, only to be blocked by a shield of water. This man was the leader of CP7, Gabriel the Styx. The room slowly filled with water as the man walked closer. "Akihiro, Captain of the Blue Suns crew, I hear you think you can kill all of the Cipher Pols. Is this some sort of vengeances for that little mouth breather who previously owned the fruit I now control?"
His comments enraged Akihiro. Akihiro dropped his katana and held out his hand giving the motion for Gabriel to attack. Gabriel grinned as his body turned into various bolts of water firing at Akihiro. Akihiro merely dodged while various cuts appeared on Gabriel's forming body. Akihiro's hands were in the motion of holding onto a blade, yet nothing was within his hands. "Don't worry…" Akihiro said, his voice trailing off. "Only I will hear your screams," he said as the room became dark. No one could hear what went on in the room, but when the doors opened red water flowed out as Akihiro left it. "There isn't a melody quite like the pleads from dying scum," he said as he walked over to a group of CP7 agents and proceeded to slaughter them.
"You okay?" Cai asked as he flew in next to him on top of a cloud. "I'm fine, check the ship's fruit supply, there should be a devil fruit. I want it secured right away," Akihiro said as he started walking towards the ship. As he walked he passed Mira, "Crush the island," he said. Mira waited until everyone was on the ship before she activated her power. Slowly the entire island became a whiter shade. Mira began flying in the air before forming her hand into a fist, crushing the entire island, ocean filled where the island previously sat before she flew over to the ship deactivating her power. "Found the fruit," Cai said, tossing a blue devil fruit with a wavey design to Akihiro. He stared at it and smiled. "Set a course for Aevum Island, I have a doctor's appointment."
It took around 2 weeks for Akihiro to reach his destination. it was a small island, one with a building without a single mark on it. It was the same island Hecate had taken Rock to when he fought the Hitotoki Catalyst. "Everyone stay here, and hide the ship. If I don't return within 15 days, consider me dead. Cai will then be Captain and you are to get as far from this island as possible," Akihiro said jumping off the ship as he held a bag with the fruit in one hand and gripped his necklace with the other. "Time to honor your memory properly, Arthur," he said before walking towards the building.
Akihiro slowly opened the door entering a circular room. He proceeded to take his katana, three daggers and a pistol, putting them on the floor and stepping back. He waited for a while and then a woman entered the room with two robotic guards. She looked over at him with a grim face. "You're that dumbass who's attacking the Cipher Pol's. You realize CP0 will kill you before you even reach CP5, right?" she said crossing her arms. "And you're Dr. Hitotoki, the legendary scientist that knows how to give a person two devil fruits and how to awaken the fruits inner most power," he said with a devilish grin. "That's true…What do you want kid?" she asked. "I want…the power to defeat CP0. I want you to put me under every single experiment you've ever done that can make me stronger." Lilith looked over at him curiously. "I assume you have a fruit ready. Or are you stupid enough to think I'd give you one?" Akihiro smiled as he took his fruit out of the bag. "It's the-" He was cut off. "The Miku Miku no Mi…The most hypocritical fruit in the world. If I remember correctly, one of Rika's top members had it. But he disappeared around the time you supernova's entered the New World," she said looking at it.
"That's right. Arthur trained me, and in that time he was killed by a group of CP0 agents. I recently obtained his fruit from the head of CP7 before I killed them and destroyed their base," he said. Lilith looked at the fruit for a while before speaking up. "Fine. I owed Arthur for letting them experiment on the properties of his Logia form. Since he's dead and you were his apprentice I'll pay off my debt to you," she said turning around. "Follow me," she said as she exited the room. As Akihiro followed her he saw various rooms through windows. They had all sorts of beasts and machines in them, weapons, armor, robots, fruits inside machines; it was something Akihiro had only read about in Sci-Fi novels from the various Islands they visited.
When they stopped they were in front of an empty room. Lilith turned to him. "There's two ways of doing this, you can either go the safe route of removing the devil inside your body allowing you to eat another fruit, in which I can either seal it within a weapon or extract it into a fruit. Or…if you truly want power, if you remove your devil into physical form and kill it yourself, you'll obtain your fruit's true power. By the looks of you, you've already figured out your fruit can do more than just make everything silent. This would allow you to fully access its true potential," she said her arms crossed. "How do you know that I figured that out?" Akihiro asked curiously. "My eyes can see the devil's within fruit users. The more understanding of their fruit a person has, the larger and older the devil looks. Like take that Mira girl on your ship, hers is still just a baby. While Ki- I should stop there. Either way, those are your choices for the first experiment," Lilith said.
"It's obvious that I'm going to fight the damn thing," Akihiro said as he entered the room. "Let's do this," he said with grin as he cracked his knuckles. Lilith entered the room after him and injected a serum into his right arm. "Kill it quickly, if you take longer than two hours I'll consider you unable to kill it and I'll kill you both," she said in a cold tone before exiting the room and locking it down.
Akihiro felt an intense pressure and then the entire room became black as four narrow red eyes opened. Akihiro could hear a low growling in his head. The entire room itself was completely silent, at least to Akihiro. Lilith could see everything, for the room had not gotten darker, the devil of the Nagi Nagi no Mi had simply made all of Akihiro's senses silent. Akihiro saw what the Nagi Devil wanted him to see. "So, you're the ass whose been taking a free ride inside my body," Akihiro said. Although he acted strongly, he was terrified. "And you…are the worthless human who ignored the great power given to you up until the last year," Nagi said with such a low yet furious voice it sent shivers down Akihiro's back, not that he could feel them. "And now, even though I gave you the power to slay a god you reject me out of your body. And for that I shall eat you like you ate me," it growled taking a step forward.
Quickly Akihiro cut the body part that had moved forward. "Don't act like I'm under your control. In truth, you only have the power that I've developed. Isn't that right?" Akihiro said grinning. "I know for a fact I can't effect Kenbunshoku Haki with Black out!" Akihiro yelled. Nagi almost groaned. "You named the power to cut off someone's sense of sight black out?" It said in a tone of voice that sounded insulted. "You may have unlocked the power BUT YOU STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE IT!" Nagi roared as Akihiro dropped to the floor in pain. "You do not understand, I am silence! I am the end! I AM WHAT WAITS AT THE END OF TIME! I SHALL OUTLAST EVERYTHING TO EVER EXIST!" Nagi roared once again. To explain what was happening to Akihiro: Nagi was silencing every sense except his sense of pain, with every other sense cut off. This single sense was increased tenfold, causing every scar, every cracked bone, every small pain throughout his body to intensify.
But Akihiro… laughed. "You call this pain?" he said standing up. "You call this a fight?!" he yelled as he gripped thin air before the air slowly turned into two fully black katanas. "This is child's play compared to what Arthur put me through, compared to my training as a child, compared to what I felt as I watched my village burn and held her corpse in my arms!" Akihiro yelled as he charged Nagi, slashing wildly. The more he cut, the more he got a sense of what Nagi looked like. "What a grotesque beast, no wonder you cut off the senses of people. They'd gag if they saw you!" he yelled as he began to slash more and more.
In time, Akihiro's senses came back as a bloody Nagi laid at his feet barely alive. Nagi's skin was black. Over its head and along its spine was bone as its own skeleton protruded out of its skin. It had four main bulky limbs along with over 20 long spider-like limbs. It had claws made of bone and at the end of its spider-like limbs were bone spikes. Various patches of skin were missing showing its skeleton along with various organs. It had four red glowing eyes that were on patches of skin that had grown over its skull.
Nagi breathed slowly looking up at Akihiro. "You better hope… the power you obtain from this woman is enough…" it said coughing. "Us devils talk. The angel…she's going to burn your world…She won't stop until everything is dead…When she's done…the sea's will be gone, the forests turned to ash, any civilization in ruin," it added. But Akihiro merely cut off its head. "Even if she's as strong as the papers say, not one woman can kill the entire world," he said as he turned to Lilith. "Next Experiment," he said staring at her through the glass. Lilith was smiling.
Meanwhile at Skypiea; there was chaos in the streets. The white sea was gone, buildings were crumbling, the entire island nation was riddled with bodies, and Kikou stood with her foot on the head of an old man in broken armor. "For a god, you're pretty weak," Kikou said grimly as she looked at four armored men dead around him. "They call you Skypieians angels…I find my title a little insulting now, to be named after something so weak…" she said as her heel slowly cut the man's face. "The…Shandians… will stop you," he said weakly. Kikou merely laughed. "I slaughtered them first. This is the final island of the Skypieians race and nation. Everything else has already burned," she said angrily. "You would commit genocide…the death of an entire race, an entire people…an entire culture?" the man said. "THEY DID THE SAME TO ME!" she yelled crushing his head with her foot. Arsen then appeared next to her. "Captain, the weapon is ready and is set at the coordinates you gave." Kikou nodded. "Fire it," she said as she stepped off the island, falling through the clouds, landing on an island below in her Angel Armor, causing the entire island to be wiped out by the force of her landing. Kikou smiled as she watched the sky turn red as the weapon ERA obliterated all traces of the sky islands.
Around the world people watched the sky turn red in horror. Those who knew of Skypiea knew what had happened, and they knew who had committed such a horrible thing. "I think it's time someone stopped her…" Rika said as she looked at the sky turning to her crew. "We may be the anti-world government committee…but Kikou…she's anti-world. Are you guys ready to perform most likely the single most dangerous raid we've ever done? We might not survive," Rika said. But her crew merely slammed their fists to their chest. "Then…lets go cause some havoc!" she said hitting her own fist against her chest.
***Nothing like a good Genocide at the end of a chapter.
***So I know that the whole cutting off senses thing isn't canon, but that's just my interruption of the fruit. Also yes Akihiro has learned how to do the same thing as L-13 although he can only create weapons up to the first level of Buso along with the invisible version.
***And I know Ashley's joining the crew was a bit iffy, but I wasn't exactly sure how to execute her joining so I just went with something a little out there, kind of like what Oda did when he had robin join.
