MITCHIE POV

I was sleeping peaceful when suddenly I heard someone opening my door, please don't!

"Mitchie" I heard my dad's voice and I whined.

"No!" he laughed and suddenly I heard someone else joining him, I quickly got up and there was Alex smiling at me

"so, my work here is done" with that my dad walked away leaving me and Alex alone, "hey sleepyhead " she said sitting beside me in the bed "hey" that was all I could say then I saw the clock beside me "Alex are you fucking insane?! It's so early" she giggled and kissed my cheek

"I know, but I wanted to make you breakfast" I looked at her confused searching for food then she smiled. "Is downstairs silly, so go and take a shower I'll wait for you" without a second word she walked away, Okay I have a really weird girlfriend.

I walked downstairs and heard laughs my dad was talking with Alex, he looked at me with a smile "good morning" he said and I smiled at them "hello" my dad then rose from his seat.

"It was pretty good to see you Alex, and also you make my work so easy, you know I believe that Mitchie is supposed to wake up all by herself to go to school and all of that because she's already a teen, but if I don't take her to the bathroom she would sleep until 2 pm. Or something" I rolled my eyes while they laughed.

"So see you later girls, I have work, and you school, so Mitchie you better eat a little fast" I nodded my head while he walked away, I was going to take a seat when I heard my dad's voice again

"Oh Alex I forgot, the breakfast was incredible, for real you should teach Mitchie so she can make me dinner someday" and with that finally he walked away, I looked at my girlfriend she was smiling

"So my dad loves you more than me" she rolled her eyes and took my hand "eat now" she said and I nodded my head

"Yes mom" she giggled, I can tell she's happy. "Oh my god babe this is amazing!" I said after I started to eat, she was smiling at me so big.

"It would be a lie if I tell you I cooked it all by myself, my mom helped me" she laughed a little like she remembered something "I kept begging her to help me she was mad because it was 'early'" she rolled her eyes, and I kissed her cheek she blushed.

"No one ever did something that cute before" she whined "Stop it!" she said and I laughed "what now?" she sighed.

"You always make me blush, I'm starting to believe you love to do it" I nodded with my head and again she rolled her eyes still with a smile.

"Are you nervous?" I asked her once we were close to the school she shook her head and smiled at me.

"You know I find it weird" she said and now I'm confused and kind of scared "w... what?" She smiled at me taking my hand

"You being in the passage seat" I smiled kissing her cheek "Actually is weird"

ALEX POV

I got out the car, this time I tried to open the door for her "sorry" she said once she noticed what I was trying to do, while she was already outside, I smiled and kissed her cheek, she looked around blushing and then I took her hand "we should go" I said and she nodded her head.

We were at her locker when someone hugged me from the shoulder "so there are a lot of rumors, of Mitchie Torres, and the Russo new girl/soccer star walking into school holding hands" it was Hanna, Mitchie smiled to me and I instantly blushed.

"Oh my god! Are we actually going out in public?" Hanna asked excited Mitchie rolled her eyes but her smile never fade "we?" she asked.

"Duh! I'm a friend of the couple I'm part of this" this time I rolled my eyes too, Mitchie took my hand taking me away from Hanna and hugged me kissing my cheek.

"We should go to class" Mitchie said and I nodded my hand, we started walking to my classroom, Hanna was beside us smiling at us, let me say I find it a little creepy

Before I could notice it was already time for lunch, I started walking to my locker when I felt someone take my arm I instantly turn to the contact it was Shane beside him were Nate and Tess "You came to school with Torres?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes.

"Yes" I said walking to the cafeteria "are you actually being serious?" he asked me and I rolled my eyes "what's the big deal Shane?" I asked looking at him.

"Well you said she was just your partner and that's why you guys were talking" he said and I felt a little smile in my face "well maybe that wasn't the only thing that we were talking about!"

"She's problems, she's going to hurt you" he said and I rolled my eyes "you don't know her "he instantly interrupted me "Alex, come on you met the girl in the summer, I know her for almost" I sighed interrupting him.

"Shane, look honestly I would love if you stop acting like this" he rolled his eyes

"Now tell me what happened between you and her last Friday" Shane looked at his brother who stayed quiet just looking at me "Nate are you involved too?" I asked and then Shane talked "no" he said simply.

"Well I'm waiting" I said and he rolled his eyes "I just told her to stay away from you, but it seems like she didn't" before he could finish I interrupted him again.

"Well honestly you're no one to give her orders" Shane was about to say but Tess talked without giving him the chance "Look Alex, we are just being friends here" I sighed

"I know, but you guys can't come and tell me or her this kind of stuff, because honestly you know one Mitchie, but I know the sweet one" Shane instantly took me by the shoulders.

"Sweet one? Are you stupid Alex?" I sighed I was getting impatient as he was raising his voice "Let me go Shane" he looked pissed.

"Alex, why are we even arguing about her? She's no one" I interrupted him again.

"She's the one I love" the three stayed in silence surprised.

"No, you can't love her" Shane shook his head trying to believe his words, I was about to say something but he interrupted me "what are you now? A dyke?" That took me by surprise I felt hurt by his words that's when we heard a voice behind me, a really familiar voice

"Okay Gray you need to back off and apologize" Mitchie said putting me by her side, Shane was now raising his eyebrow looking at us, "Is time for lunch Mitch, let's just go" I said without looking at them and make Mitchie walk away with me.

"We'll talk later Alex" I heard Shane's voice Mitchie looked at me, and I just kept walking.

We got in the table Mitchie usually use, I felt some students looking at us, but I decided to ignore them "now tell me what happened?" Mitchie didn't look so happy; I took her hand that was resting in the table.

"Shane was being just Shane" I said like it wasn't big deal.

"Well from where I saw, I didn't like a single move he made over you, and what he said to you" I smiled "Honestly Alex, he has some temper and well I have a worst one, if he ever says something like that to you again I don't know if I'm going to have a good reaction" she was looking at me so serious, and I know she mean every word she was saying.

"I don't want anyone to hurt you babe" she said now looking at me with a look that I can't really describe she looked so sad, she kissed my head and caresses my cheek "I love you" I said to her being completely honest, that made her smile.

"Hey lovebirds" I heard Hanna said sitting beside me while Justin was sitting between Mitchie and Sam "hey guys" Mitchie said in a low voice still looking at me

"We have practice today" Samantha said without looking at me I nodded my head looking at Mitchie who understood completely "I'll wait for you" I smiled a little.

Samantha and I were the only ones in the dresser, I heard her sigh "Okay Alexandra, I'm going to be really honest with you" she said out of nowhere, "I don't like you, not even a little"

I rolled my eyes and looked at her just listening her "I think you and your attitude of the sweet and perfect girl, is just a mask, I believe you're going to hurt Mitchie like no one ever did before, because let's be honest you already did it at the end of the summer, I believe you're using her" I scoffed I was about to answer but she kept talking.

"so I will talk to you in the field and practices, because even when I can't stand you, at least you can play, and you're part of the team, and knowing Mitchie, she loves when you hang out with us, and I'll try to get along with that because I really care about her, but let's be clear I am not your friend, and I don't want to" without a second word she walked out the dresser.

MITCHIE POV

I stayed the whole practice, there was something in Alex today, she just seemed off, I know I'm not the only one that noticed that, "Russo, you're a mess today, go to the showers" the coach said, Alex begged her to let her stay, but the coach didn't change her mind, I was really concern, I felt someone looking at me it was Sam, I approached her.

"You know what's wrong with her?" I asked and she shrugged "is your girlfriend not mine" without another word she went back to the practice, I walked inside the dresser, I heard soft sobs I sighed, she was sitting in the floor, it broke my heart.

"Babe" I said she looked at me and instantly cleaned up her tears; I sat beside her and hugged her tight.

"I d…don't want you to see me like this" Alex said trying to move away, but I just put her closer she was hugging me tight, her face in my neck; I could feel her tears rolling down.

"I'm sorry" I said after some minutes, she looked at me "what?" she asked confused, I cleaned one of her tears with my thumb "Is my entire fault" I said.

"I was the one pushing you to go out and" she interrupted me "No Mitchie, you are wonderful, you gave me the entire time and space, this was my decision, I'm not crying because of that" I stayed in silence.

"Is Shane isn't it?" I asked and she nodded "I thought they would understand you know, I never imagined him saying that" I sighed and hugged her again.

"Alex, just… give them time, they'll come around, I think maybe he was just shocked, and I… I completely understand him, I have a pretty fucked up reputation, and I wouldn't let Hannah or Sam date me neither"

Alex shook her head and kissed me "Mitchie, you're the best thing that happened to me, I'm in love with you, you're all that matters to me right now"

ALEX POV

Mitchie drove my car to my house, she needed to meet her dad, so she went away with John and Jake, my parents were at my grandpas' house, that's when I heard the bell ring, and I sighed and found Nate and Dana standing there.

"Hey" Nate was the first one to break the silence

"Uh… come in" I said walking to the living room, Nate and Dana took a seat in front of me, and an awkward silence filled the room.

"So, what are you doing here?" I asked, and it sounded a little harsh, Nate sighed "Dana told me you're really dating Mitchie" I looked at my friend she was looking at her hands I sighed.

"Look Nate, if you came here to yell at me just like Shane did in school, I would prefer if you just leave" he shook his head taking Dana's hand

"I came here, to listen to you, Dana told me that's one of the reasons why you never told us anything about her, because me and the others never stop to hear you, before judge you or yell at you" I stayed in silence for a minute "what do you want me to tell me?"

He showed me a little smile "about her, about your relationship"

"Well… you know I met her in the summer" he nodded his head "yeah the summer project" I sighed at his words "it wasn't like that Nate, I mean I told you guys I wanted to prove some things, and you thought it was something to be with Mitchie, but the thing was with me, I needed to discover myself"

I took a deep breathe "For a long time, part of me felt different, guys would ask me out, but didn't feel right, and back in Texas I used to stare at girls, but it was nothing like with Mitchie, the first day I hanged out with you, was the first time I saw her, she was so beautiful, she made me feel something I wanted to know her"

I look at Dana she was looking at me with a little smile "she intrigued me a lot, like you have no idea, and then I met her in that party I went with you and kind of told me her reputation, we talked a little in the backyard, and she was acting like this harsh girl, and part of me wanted to yell at her, make her drop what I thought was an act"

Nate was looking at me waiting for me to continue I sighed with a little smile "she was surprised I guess, she was so into 'I'm Mitchie Torres, no one talks to me like that' but that was it, I ever imagined she would be someone so important in my life, we met by chance in central park, and then in the mall, she kept her 'cool' act, and I kept my not interested attitude"

"She took me to meet the city, and she was trying hard to make a better impression, but her special day ended up badly, that was the night she bought me flowers, and where my 'great' idea started" Nate nodded his head

"And you started the whole hanging out with her thing" I nodded my head "she made me a letter, it was so cute, she was starting to show the real Mitchie" I felt a smile in my face

"and then the party she throw at her house, pretty much ruined everything, remember we got there and she was kissing Caitlyn, I felt angry, in that moment I didn't know why, now I know I was jealous, that night was also the first time she kissed me" Nate's eyes widened

"But you looked really pissed that night, you asked me to take you home" I nodded my head "well yeah, Mitchie was acting like a jerk that night, and I didn't want to deal with that"

"her attitude changed she didn't call me in a few days, but eventually she started sending me texts every day, until I decided to talk with her, she took me to breakfast, and she asked me for a second chance, and let me tell you that was the decision I've ever made, we got together in that moment, and I spent almost every single day of my summer with her, she was everything I ever wanted, she was so sweet, and caring, and such a great person, I fell in love fast Nate, we never really said it out loud"

I sighed "and then Summer ended I broke up with her, I was scared and stupid, back in Texas I was just so depressed I missed her, and she kept trying to keep in touch, then you know I came back, and I went to her house I wanted her back, but I found out that I hurt her really bad, she didn't deserve that again, so I tried to stay away, something I couldn't do we got in the same table for biology, and pretty much we started to talk, I apologized, I needed her, and she was still in love with me, so we started to date she gave me this" I said showing him my necklace.

"But why you never said anything?" My friend asked in confusion "because all you hate her, and I didn't want to have a fight for her, not that she's not worth it, because believe me she is, but because I love you guys, you're really important to me" he sighed

"We don't really hate her, well at least I talk for me and Dana and well you know Kevin, Peggy and Ella thinks the same" I sighed "but Shane and Tess"

Dana gave Nate a look that I couldn't describe Nate sighed.

"I have to tell you a story, when Mitchie came into school, Shane had this huge crush on her, they had a lot of classes together, and Shane suddenly started to follow her like a lost puppy, no one really knew Mitchie Torres was gay, well I think only Justin and her other friends, so, Shane thought that her joking around with him, and actually smiling at him from the hall and that stuff, meant she liked him"

I stayed in completely silence, I couldn't believe it "That continued for a while, rumors started to go around, about her being into girls, Shane didn't listen to them, because he knew one Mitchie that was different at what people say, Kevin and I well we tried to talk with him he didn't listen, Sam was in one class with me so she well she actually told me the rumors were right, Shane is stubborn you know him, so he made this romantic stuff for Mitchie"

"He was waiting in the parking lot with roses, and made me and Kevin stand behind him with guitars, we were going to make fools of ourselves you know, anyway, we were in middle school, not big deal I mean now not a lot of people remember, but when Mitchie went out the building with her friends behind her, we started to play, everybody was looking at us and then to Mitchie, she tried to stop us but Shane insisted in continue, he gave her the roses" Nate sighed

"Looking back at the moment Mitchie's face said it all, she was ashamed but not because the whole thing that Shane did, but because she didn't feel the same, Shane asked her to be her girlfriend, and she said no, Shane was crushed, she tried to explain it to him, but he got mad and then Mitchie was looking out for him the entire week, she apologized but Shane I don't know, he started to yell at her, and Mitchie lost it, that's the moment she said she was openly gay, at first people started to judge her, she had a pretty hard time the first weeks, Mitchie tried to be friends with him but Shane started being rude to her, and there were rumors of people saying Mitchie only used Shane to cover up the fact that she wasn't into guys, so she gave up and then got the attitude of I don't care what people say, and then in high school she started having girls around all the time"

"He tried to find a great excuse of why Mitchie crushed him, and then part of him is like he started to believe the rumors, like he was convinced that Mitchie used him, that's why he doesn't want you near to her, he's actually afraid of her doing something like that to you, that's why we kind of support him in that way, because Mitchie is not the girlfriend kind, you know she just fool around" I was about to answer but he continued.

"Or well maybe that's what we believed, I think, maybe Mitchie is not that bad for you" I felt a smile growing in my face.

"But… what about Tess?" I asked Dana sighed "well she always had a huge crush on Shane; she would get mad if he was talking with Mitchie, she was jealous, and she still is, because she believes Shane still has feelings for Mitchie"

Well…. The chapter didn't really went to where I wanted, so I don't really know what to say, that was why it took me so long to update, It just didn't feel right, and I wrote this thing like twice…. So at least I hope you enjoyed it… thanks for reading, and now what do you think about Shane?
