And the final mini epi has arrived. This one's going to be a bit different because I'll be writing parts of it from the perspective of the twins. The chapter after this should be the final epilogue. This shot is partially named after the second chapter of this fic.

Another Day in the Life

Month: August

Summary: Pan, Trunks, the twins, and little Ayame enjoy a day out on a shopping trip a month before the big day, Corra and Chyna have begun to acclimate to the public scrutiny that comes with being related to the Champ, and the eldest Son sister has a little bit of a surprise to share with her little sisters.

Corra's POV

"Which store are we going to, first?" Panny asked, leaning between the driver and passenger seats of the car to look back at us, "is Ayame still asleep?"

"Yeah, she's still sleeping," Chyna responded, smiling at our cute little cousin, tucked in her carseat between us, "can we go to Barnes and Noble first?"

"I'm pretty sure Corra wants to go to GameStop," Trunks chuckled, "how about you take Aya and go to the bookstore with Chai-chan, and I'll take Corrie-chan to get some new games?"

"Sounds good," Panny nodded and he touched her arm, "be careful..." Big sis rolled her eyes and leaned in to kiss his cheek, "did you really just tell me that?" Tru-niisan shrugged and kissed her cheek in return, "you know what I mean."

"I'm fine," Pan lowered her voice to a whisper, "you're just being ridiculous."

Chyna and I exchanged a look over the carseat, and her 'voice' popped into my head, 'what the heck are they talking about? Is Panny sick?'

'How the heck should I know? She looks fine to me, other than the weird way she and Tru-niisan have been talking.' I responded, 'maybe she's been sick and she's just now getting better.'

'Maybe...' Chai-chan looked very concerned, and, between us, Aya-chan began to stir. Uncle Goten took Bra-chan on a five-day trip to Jamaica, she refused to leave the baby for any longer than that, so they could get some time to themselves so, for the meantime, Pan-chan and Trunks-kun were taking care of her.

"Aya's awake, Panny," I spoke up as her blue eyes focused on our faces. She pulled her pacifier out of her mouth and giggled adorably. Chyna laughed and opened the car door to get out. Pan got out of the passenger seat and moved past Chyna to sit where she'd been sitting and began to unbuckle the baby.

"Hi, cutie," she crooned, "I thought you were going to sleep for a little longer, but I guess you felt like proving us wrong, huh?" Ayame cooed in return, reaching out for Pan's face. My sister turned to me, "could you get her little carrier-pouch thing out of her bag for me?"

I dug through the baby bag, rummaging through diapers and bottles for the pouch that Bra liked to carry Aya around in. The pouch was at the bottom of the bag, the lavender fabric folded neatly. I grabbed it and unfolded it before handing it to Pan, who carefully situated our little cousin in it. Once the baby was secured, Trunks helped her buckle up the straps at the back.

"Alright, you," big sis handed Chyna the baby bag, "carry this. Now, let's head over to Barnes and Noble. We'll meet up at the food court, then?" This question, she directed towards Trunks, "what time?"

"It's ten, how about one-thirty?" he suggested, leaning against the trunk of the car, "and make sure you eat when you're supposed to, missy. Can't have you passing out again like you did at work." Pan rolled her eyes at him, but smiled warmly, "so I forgot breakfast one time, and you're holding it against me."

"Well, I've got another reason to-"

"You passed out at work?" Chyna asked, more like demanded, worry bright in her eyes. Big sis sighed exasperatedly at Tru-niisan, "did you have to bring that up?" she then tried to placate Chyna, "I only fainted because I was in a rush that morning and forgot to eat."

"You should take better care of yourself," Chai-chan insisted, "fainting isn't healthy."

'Jeeze, sis, you really do take after Granny Chichi.'

"I know, I know," Panny ruffled Chyna's hair, "I'm sorry, I'll be better about it, I promise." she mumbled something along the lines of, 'have to be better about it,' and gestured towards the mall, "the book store's not going to peruse itself." With that said, we all split into our specified groups and went on our merry ways.

I wonder what's wrong with big sissy...

Pan's POV (A/N: At first, I was going to wait til the end to reveal what's going on, but I think it's pretty obvious. So look out in the next paragraph or so.)

After Chyna discovered my fainting spell at work last week, she seemed really reluctant to leave me and Ayame to go look in the teen section of the books when we got to Barnes and Noble. Finally, after promising that, if I got hungry while we were here, we'd go and get something to eat, she was off like a shot. I smiled as she wandered off and took a seat at one of the tables near the Starbucks in the store. Aya's curly head of black hair was resting against my chest, and I could feel, judging by the lull in her little ki, that she'd drifted back into sleep.

In about seven months, it'll be your baby sleeping on your chest...

Oh yes, our romantic trip to Honolulu had come with a somewhat permanent souvenir. Trunks, as brilliant as he was, thinking of everything to make the trip go off without a hitch, forgot to pack saiyan-proof protection. One thing led to another, two months later, I forgot to eat breakfast before work, got light-headed and passed out in the middle of conducting a sonogram. Trunks was called up to the hospital after they admitted me, and one of my colleagues, whilst checking my vitals and such, asked the golden question: Miss Son, do you remember when your last period was?

One ultrasound later, it was revealed that I was two months pregnant, the estimated conception was the first day of of our vacation. The memories of that night still sent shivers down my spine, to this day. At first, the news was a bit shocking, neither of us had been expecting for kids to come so soon, especially right before we were planning to get married, but Trunks was quick to warm up to the idea. Sure, he'd been shocked at first when the Obstetrician told us, but, slowly but surely, he'd gone bewildered to excited...

... "There, we have your baby's heartbeat," I told the couple before me, blinking rapidly and shaking my head to ward off the sudden wave of dizziness that had struck, "congratulations..."

"Dr. Son," the woman spoke up, "you look a little faint and pale."

"I'm fine," I responded, "I just forgot to eat breakfast. Give me a second to write out your prescription for the prenatal vitamins, and I'll... anh..." Black spots flooded my vision as I made to step away from the bed to grab my prescription pad, and my knees crumbled from beneath me. Cool tile came up beneath my hands and knees as my head began to spin. The spots won out, and I faintly heard my patient yelling for help as I slumped to the floor, completely swallowed by the dizzying blackness...

"Hey," I felt a familiar, masculine hand cupping my face as I came to, "hey, Panny, come on, wake up for me." I moaned, "Trunks..."

"Yeah, I'm right here, Princess," his voice was a soothing balm, "they need you to wake up so they can check you over."

"What happened?" I responded, opening my eyes a little. All I could make out of him was a blob of lavender, so I blinked a little, trying to bring him into focus. The first thing I made out of him that was clear was his concerned, crystalline eyes. He smiled when he saw my eyes open and kissed my forehead, "according to the nurse who called me at work, you fainted during a check-up with one of your patients."

"Oh," I murmured, "I guess I kinda did forget to eat breakfast..."

"Panny..." there was a warning in his voice and I sighed, "I know... my crazy alien metabolism doesn't like it when I miss meals. I woke up late and had to skip it if I wanted to get to work on time."

"They need to do some check-ups, make sure you're fine and everything, but your boss wants to send you home for the day."

"I've only been here for five hours," I told him softly, "I've still got seven and a half to go."

"Well, as your future husband and caretaker," Trunks kissed my lips gently, "I vote for carting you back to the house and pampering you for a few days. Chichi's been teaching me how to cook your favorite foods, so I might as well put the lessons to good use, right?"

"You're lucky you're hot," I murmured, smiling seductively, "I'll go home and sample your food... and something else, too." He rolled his eyes, "I think we'll save that bit for another day. I want you to take it easy, and how could you possibly take it easy if I spend a few hours rocking your world and ravishing your beautiful body thoroughly like the Orgasm Kami that I am?"

I blushed at the memory, but formed a response, nonetheless,"We'll-"

"Mr. Briefs, Dr. Son?" a tall, statuesque nurse with long, wavy black hair and dark brown eyes entered the room, "I'm here to check Dr. Son and make sure she's alright after her incident."

Trunks extricated himself from me and returned to the chair at my bedside as the nurse began her checkup, starting with my pulse. I sat perfectly still as she checked my pulse, breathing deeply when I was directed. It took a while, she checked everything from temperature to lymph nodes. As her fingers explored my abdomen, Trunks' brow rose as my skin gave way to her probing instead of feeling like normal, rock hard abs.

"Doctor Son, you're an avid martial artist, aren't you?" the nurse inquired, and I nodded, "yeah, I train whenever I get the chance to... why?"

"Well, it's odd that you train so often and your abdominal muscles aren't all that firm," she sounded concerned, "are you on your menstrual cycle? Perhaps it's simply the usual bloating brought on by your menses."

"I'm... I'm actually not on my menses," I responded, "so..." Oh Kami... when was my last cycle? I faintly recalled mentioning to Trunks that I'd just gotten off of it a few days before we got to Hawaii... Oh hell, I was basically asking to get pregnant...

Suddenly, the woman reached up and squeezed one of my breasts, and I squeaked in surprise as a sharp throb of pain radiated from the action. Trunks jerked towards me on instinct, and then caught himself, relaxing back into his chair once he realized that she wasn't trying to harm me. The nurse looked at me, "sensitive breasts... Any headaches? Fatigue?"

"She's been having migraines on and off for the past few days, and she goes to bed a lot earlier, now that you mention it," Trunks spoke up, "when she wakes up in the morning, she sometimes feels warmer than usual, but I've always thought that it was due to her being under the covers."

"An elevated basal body temperature... Dr. Son, would you please do me a favor and head to the bathroom, please? I need a urine sample from you."

"A urine sample?" My fiance questioned, looking up me, "why a urine... sample...?" Realization dawned on him, and it seemed as if he were looking at me with new eyes. I gave my acquiescence to the nurse and left for the bathroom reserved for urine samples down the hall...

*after the sample*

The nurse had gone down to the lab to make sure my urine sample got through as quickly as possible, leaving Trunks and I to sit in the examination room, shocked by the suddenly very really possibility, more like certainty, that we may have created a new life. I pressed both of my hands against my face and moaned, "Kami, the wedding's literally not even a month away... We couldn't have waited until the honeymoon to start popping out babies? Not that I don't want kids... it's just... we were right there! In home stretch!"

"Well, I'm sorry I'm so virile that I shouldn't even come near you unless I've got one of my mother's specially made condoms, Panny," Trunks shrugged, smiling wanly, "what happened to those birth control pills you got from her?"

"I'd just run out the month before... never got around to getting her to refill the prescription. It's both our faults, Trunks-kun." I responded with a wan smile of my own, "we're going to be parents... us, of all people, parents."

"Are you trying to say we can't do this?" My fiance asked, an amused smirk on his handsome face, "because we're going to have to agree to disagree."

"I'm not saying we can't... I'm saying that we're going to have some screw-ups along the way," I elaborated with a snort, "we can do it, but it's going to be one hell of a work in process. I still can't get over the fact that the wedding's next month, we waited for a whole year, only for you to knock me up with three months to go. How ironic is that?"

"Very," Trunks mumbled in response, "just wait until Goten hears about this, he's gonna have a-"

"We're not telling anyone," I jumped in before he could finish, "not until after the wedding. That way, Papa won't have another excuse to kill you before we can get married."

"Alright, if you think it's best," he reached out to lay a hand on my stomach, "I can't believe I missed this..."

"Missed what?"

"The little ki hiding in yours," he responded, "our baby's shy. I've been feeling what felt like your ki giving off a small echo for a week or two, but now I know what it really was. I don't think the little girl or guy wanted us to know they were there just yet." A glowing smile formed on his lips and I touched his face adoringly, "you're excited about being a Dad, aren't you?"

"Yeah, I am," he responded, "I see Goten with Yami-chan, and I just... I wished it could be me in his place, you know," he laughed, "I'm starting to think that parenthood may be catching."

"You're right, I think it is," I murmured, laying my hand over his, "Bra makes me very curious about motherhood. She's so good at it... I can't help but wonder how good I'd be at being a mom."

"I think you'd be an awesome mom," Trunks lifted my other hand to his lips and kissed it, "you're probably going to be one of those fun moms who let their kids have sweets and play outside until the sun starts to go down," he frowned, "I haven't had the best example of a father to go by, though."

"You should use Vegeta's example to be a better father than he was to you," I murmured lovingly, "you may share his face, but that doesn't mean you have to share his mannerisms or his attitude. He's come along somewhat since then, but I can understand your fear. Don't let that hold you back, though. You have a beautiful heart and an even more gorgeous soul. I love you, and I know that if I trust that you'll be a good husband, then I should easily be able to trust you to be an even better father."

"You really think so?" Trunks inquired, smiling charmingly, and I cupped his cheek, "I know so. We can do this, I know we can."

Since then, my fiance had become somewhat subtly overprotective of me. My father had become somewhat suspicious of us when Trunks declined a spar for me when he asked if I was up for it. I'd tried to save face and explained that I'd worked long hours the day before, and needed to get some rest before I had to go back in. I rolled my eyes at the memory, carefully reaching behind myself to unclasp the straps of Aya's pouch, already sensing her rousing ki.

"Hello, sweet pea," I murmured as I carefully lifter her away from my chest, settling her little diapered bottom on the edge of the table, "you're awake now, aren't you, baby girl?" The adorable little cherub rubbed at her eyes with her tiny fists, yawning in the most cute little way. Kami, I thought as she dropped her hands in her lap and looked up at me, my Uncle and Bra make some really cute kids...

"Pa..." Aya gurgled, smiling up at me. I handed her the paci that was pinned to her lavender top, smiling as she took it in her mouth. Today, I'd dressed the tiny Princess in a lavender, ruffled top, some jean shorts, and a pair of white ruffled socks with a pair of lavender baby tennis shoes. Her mom would be so proud of me for making sure her baby was fashionable in her absence.

Upon glancing around myself, I found the section for Pregnancy books nearby and turned to look at my baby cousin, she wouldn't officially be my niece until Trunks and I got married, and murmured, "maybe it's about time I did some reading, hm? It would be kind of pointless, seeing as I'm an obstetrician and all, but it'd be nice to see how it is to be on the other side of things..."

*later* Chyna's POV

"Panny," I found my older sister in the children's book section, perusing the books with Ayame perched on her hip, "I picked out a book that I wanted." Pan rolled her eyes, "Chai-chan, you don't have to get just one book. I wouldn't mind if you got more than one, silly, so feel free to go nuts."

"It's called being considerate, Panny." I responded, smiling as my cousin giggled and reached out towards the bookshelf in front of her, trying to grab onto one of the various books there. Pan leaned back and grabbed her little hand, "considerate of what? I don't mean to sound like a snob, but we're loaded. We could buy this whole store if we wanted to. Now," she looked back at me, "go back over there and don't come back until you've picked out ten books that you want."

"But-"

"Shoo," Panny waved a hand, smiling cheekily, "Aya-chan and I are doing fine on our own, we can wait a while longer for you. so don't worry." I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest, "are you sure? You haven't been feeling faint or anything, have you?"

"No, I haven't, and I'm not hungry either," she walked over to me and pinched my cheek, "go look at the books, Granny Chichi, and stop worrying so much." Aya clapped her hands and squealed, and I blushed, "I'm not as bad as Grandma."

"Honey, go get yourself some books," Pan waved me off, "tell her, baby girl, she's being a worry-wart." My little cousin burbled and began playing with a piece of Panny's hair. My sister kissed her on the cheek and smiled at me, "Chai, seriously, go..."

"You already bought something?" I questioned, eyeing the white and green plastic bag tucked into her cross-body bag, "and you're fussing at me to get books. What'd you get?"

"Nothing, it's nothing important," she responded quickly, raking her free hand through her hair, "just something I need for work."

"Okay..." I responded, confused by her shiftiness, "I'm going to go look at some books, I guess." Pan gave a half-smile and returned her attentions to the baby and the children's books, murmuring something as Aya began to try grabbing them again.

I left the two of them together and headed back over to the teen section, cradling the book I'd already picked, Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, in my arms. Maybe I could get the next two books... and then the first two Harry Potter ones... that's five, the Infernal Devices... eight, now I need two more... As I thought out my choices, I plucked each book I wanted from the shelves and made two stacks on the floor by my feet.

"Um, excuse me?" A hand fell on my shoulder, and I jerked away from it at once, turning to face the culprit. A pair of girls, about my age, stood behind me, each of them toting a cup from Starbucks and a Barnes and Noble bag, one of which had Twilight books in it. I inwardly shuddered, Twilight's horrible, and looked up at them, brushing my hair out of my face, "uh... hi."

"Aren't you one of those girls that got kidnapped by Pan Son last year?" the one on the right, a tall, rail-thin girl with platinum blonde hair, dyed electric blue at the tips, cut in a pixie-like style, not unlike Mama's, and some piercing, icy blue eyes, all but demanded. The girl standing next to her, shorter, full figured with dark, brownish-auburn hair and silver-green eyes, elbowed her in the side, "Corley!"

"What, Mikori? You were wondering about it, too," Corley hissed back, and then her icy gaze, lined in vivid black eyeliner and emphasized by matching eye shadow, flicked back to me, "so? Are you?" I blushed and looked down at my shoes, "Uh... yeah, I-I am."

"You know who she is, Cor, now leave her alone-" Mikori tried to cut in, but Corley was persistent, "are you really her little sister? I mean, you do look just like her mom, but come on. What are the odds that she actually has long lost siblings?"

"Uh, she's really my sister," my voice shook noticeably as I spoke, "why would she lie about that?"

"I don't know, I was hoping you could tell me," the blonde girl smirked vindictively, "I mean, you are the fake sibling, after all-"

"I am so sorry," the auburn haired girl told me, grabbing her friend's arm firmly, "what is wrong with you, Corley? You don't ask people that kind of stuff in public! You have no manners." As she dragged Corley away, I could hear the girl respond, "well, I just wanted to know what I had to do for Pan Son to adopt me into her family, and who better to ask than her so-called little sisters. They're probably the most successful moochers ever..."

A wave of embarrassment washed over me, and suddenly I didn't feel like getting new books anymore. It became aware to me that they weren't the only people who'd noticed my presence. A small crowd of curious teens had formed at one end of the aisle I was on and, when I glanced their way, they pretended to be focused on other books, graphic novels, and manga volumes. The books were left on the floor by the shelf. The desire for new reading material had been completely squashed.

Trunks' POV (A/N: We're going to pretend like there are a lot more games out for the PS4 and the Xbox One.)

Corra was definitely a gamer girl, that was for certain. In between her PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, she had already picked out at least fifteen games per system. She definitely wasn't shy or reluctant about picking out the things she wanted, unlike Chyna, who, even after a year, took a ton of coaxing and prodding to pick out just one thing for herself. At the moment, I was watching Corra flit across the store, eyes aglow as she searched the shelves for any games that she didn't have and was interested in, or something new to add to the mix.

I wonder what Panny and Yami are up to... Not even five seconds after thinking, my phone began to vibrate in my pocket, and I whipped out to check the ID. Pan's smiling, gorgeous face flashed across the screen, and a smile of my own spread over my face as I answered the call, "Hell-"

"Chyna is onto us," Pan blurted, cutting off my greeting, "I bought a book on pregnancy, and don't you dare say how ironic that is, and I put the bag and everything in my bag, and I freaking panicked when she asked me about it. If she's anything like Papa, which, of course, she is, she's probably crazy suspicious right now."

"You bought a pregnancy book?" I whispered into the receiver, "whatever for? You're an obstretrician for crying out loud."

"I wanted to see what it was like to be on the other side," she whispered, "so sue me. You know what... I think we should tell the twins."

"Well, it is your fault that she's even suspicious of you," I responded, "getting all defensive because she asked what you bought. My, Pan-chan, I thought you kept a cooler head than that."

"I have this odd idea that people can see through my clothes and they know that there's a little bump underneath," she murmured, "it's driving me nuts. I wish you could understand the way I feel. You're so lucky, you can walk around all you want without thinking that people somehow know that you're going to be a father."

"Actually," I mumbled, flushing slightly, "I kind of do. I've been going to work with a huge grin on my face everyday, and my employees won't stop asking me what's behind the sudden uplift in my mood," I snorted, "and, apparently, my imminent marriage isn't a big enough reason for it."

"So they don't think I'm capable of making you 'I'm-going-be-a-Daddy' happy?" she demanded, "those ignorant little..."

"Panny, you are capable of making me that happy," I snorted, amused, "you already did."

"I know," Pan conceded, "but they don't, the idiots."

A commotion at the back of the store, and the absence of my soon-to-be sister in-law caught my attention, and I headed towards the back, eyes wide as I finally got an eyeful of the source, "Panny, do you think you and Chyna could head down here? Now?"

"Yeah, I think so, why?"

"Corra's got some kid in a headlock," I responded, "I don't know what happened, but she's not happy."

Pan's POV

As soon as I ended the call, I pocketed my phone, detached Aya from the book that she'd gotten her little hands on, and hurried over to the teen section, where I was certain Chai-chan would be. The aisle was littered with teens and tweens alike, all of which began whispering feverishly, eyes wide as I marched down the small aisle, keeping Ayame close to my body. Where are you, Chai?

"Holy crap, it's Pan Son..."

"Who's the baby?"

"I think that's Bra Briefs' baby..."

"Yeah, I don't think Trunks will stoop so low as to have kids with her..."

If only you knew, you teeny-bopping, brainless sycophant, I thought to myself as I left the aisle, focusing my energy to find her ki. As of late, my ki had been lowering, bit by bit. It wasn't going away, persay, but I could sense it gathering around the baby, forming some kind of protective shell. I wagered that, by the time it was time for me to give birth, I mentally shuddered at the thought, I probably wouldn't be able to go SSJ.

There she is, I found her energy huddled in the restrooms and hurried in that direction, what's she doing in there? She can't take her books in there they've already been paid for. I pushed the weighted door open and entered the bathroom, "Chai-chan? Sissy, you in here?" Aya burbled and whipped her little head around, trying to take everything in with her bright blue eyes. A small sniff emanated from the handicap stall at the end of the row, and I walked down to it, "Chai-chan, what's wrong?"

"N-nothing," her soft voice trembled, and she gave another sniffle, "I'm fine."

"No, you're not," I responded, "come on, if you don't want to talk about it, then I'm not going to push you to talk, alright? Where are your books at? I need to pay for them so we can go."

"I don't want any books anymore," Chyna responded dully, and I stepped back so she could open the door and come out of the stall. Her blue eyes were slightly reddened and puffy, but her cheeks were completely dry. I sighed and pulled her into my side, pressing a kiss to the top of her head, "your sister's gotten into some kind of mess at GameStop, so we need to head down there."

"Okay."

*GameStop* Corra's POV

"Corra, what the heck- why'd you put that kid in a headlock?" Trunks demanded as he whipped out his card to pay for my games. I ignored him, too busy glaring at the kid's back as he left the store with his Mom, rubbing his neck as he went. That's what you get, idiot...

"Corra," there was a warning in Trunks' voice as he capsulated the bags, "what did he do?"

"He said that me and Chyna are fakes," I spat, crossing my arms over my chest, "he said there was no way that we could actually be Pan's little sisters, and that we were just a couple of moochers, and I got mad. He deserved it."

"Corrie," he motioned for me to follow him out of the store, "you can't just go around, putting people in headlocks. You're a quarter-saiyan, if you exert too much force while you're doing that, or any defensive move, you might wind up hurting someone extremely bad."

"I know, Trunks-kun," I was still angry, though a little scared of what could've happened if I hadn't let him go when Trunks got to me, "he just... why are people so mean?" I demanded, "Grandma always says that you shouldn't say anything to anyone if you can't think of anything nice, and that's what I did! I didn't say anything mean to him, so why'd he say all of those horrible things?"

"Your grandparents and your parents are raising you the right way, with morals and an understanding that it's not always okay to say the first thing that pops into your head," Trunks ruffled my hair, "but some parents... well, they aren't doing it right, and that bratty little kid you grabbed is a prime example of parenting done wrong."

"If more people raised their kids right, then we wouldn't have problems like this," I sniffed as the memory popped back into my head...

"Hey, you're that girl that got kidnapped by Pan Son last year, aren't you?" Some nerdy kid with bright red hair and blue eyes stood behind me, watching me from behind his horn rimmed glasses. I shrugged at him and returned to my perusing, Kingdom Hearts 2.5 needs to hurry up and come out...

"Hey," he grabbed my arm, "I was talking to you, stupid! I bet your so-called sister just kidnapped you just for something to do. You're probably mooching off of her and spending all her money like the squatter you are."

"I don't care if you're talking to me," I pulled his hand off of my arm, "I don't want to talk to you."

"Who said you had a choice?" the kid sneered, following me as I moved towards the back of the store, "you just don't wanna say anything because you know I'm right, you moocher. Your "big sister" is a moocher, too, since she's Mister Satan's heiress and all."

A foreign heat began to build in my heart as I whipped around to face him, glowering hotly at him, "excuse me?"

"Can't she get a job?" the ginger continued on, "why's she got to get the Champ's hard-earned money instead of earning her own."

"She does have a job," I sneered, "she works at the hospital, you- never mind." I stopped myself from continuing on, knowing that Granny Chichi wouldn't be pleased if I ignored what she taught me, and returned to the games, breathing deeply to calm myself down. He doesn't know any better, Corra... he doesn't know any better...

"Aw, what's the matter, you big baby?" Ginger boy continued to trail me, "you scared because you know I'm right? I guess you two are sisters, seeing as you're all mooching off of the same pers-ack!"

The kid's mother started screaming as I wrapped my arm around his neck and held him there, smiling victoriously as his arms flailed about and his haughty, nasally voice became a choked, desperate gurgle, "don't make fun of my family like you know everything about them, then. Maybe you wouldn't be in this position."

"Hey!"

Trunks and I looked up as Panny, Ayame, and Chyna approached, the latter trailing behind Pan. I frowned at my twin and waited for them to get over to us. My older sister poked me in the nose, "what's this I hear about you putting people in headlocks, young lady?"

"He was making fun of me and Chyna and you," I responded firmly, "he was asking for it. I didn't do anything to warrant his insults."

"She didn't," Trunks poked in, "she was looking at games when that red-head came up to her right before you called me."

While the two adults began to conversate, I meandered over to my sister and frowned, "no new books? I'm shocked." She bit her lip and looked away, "I didn't see anything I wanted."

"Mmhm," I rolled my eyes, skeptical, "that's about as likely as Christmas in July. What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Chyna shot me a defensive look, crossing her arms over her torso, "it's nothing, leave me alone, will you?" I sighed, mirroring her, "it's something, you're being too defensive about this."

"Corra," she sighed, "please... just drop it. It's nothing, I was just being too sensitive."

"You're being sensitive is what makes you you," I responded, "someone said something to you and, obviously, it wasn't anything remotely friendly." Chyna bit her lip again, "why are people so nosy?"

"They think they're entitled to know everything about everyone," I muttered in response, "jeeze, just because we're famous doesn't mean that we don't have a right to have privacy... and stop biting your lip, Grandma says if you keep it up, you'll work up a habit and chew a hole through your lip." She laughed, "Grandma's paranoid."

"No," I shook my head, giggling, "Grandma is Grandma."

"Alright, you two," Pan touched us both on the arm, "Trunks is going to take you two and Ayame down to the food court and get you something to eat. I've got to run and buy something for... Bra."

"Come here, sweetheart," Trunks gently took Aya from Pan, smiling as she squealed and reached out to grab his face, "yeah, I know I'm handsome, Princess."

Pan rolled her eyes, "conceited, much?" she handed the baby bag to me, "I'll be back in about five to ten minutes." I looped the strap over my shoulder and my sister darted off into the crowds, headed back the way she and Chai came from. An odd, cloying scent began to permeate the air, and I furrowed up my nose in disgust.

"What is that?"

"I think it's Aya-chan," Chyna responded, grimacing as the baby's face creased, threatening tears. If there was one thing that proved who her mother was, then it was the fact that Aya did not like being filthy for one bit. Not even for a second.

"Come on, baby girl," Trunks flinched at the stench, "let's get you to a bathroom and cleaned up."

*after a hasty diaper change* (A/N: The restaurant names are the ones in the food court of the mall near my house.)

"Alright, ladies," Trunks placed Ayame on Chyna's lap, "what do you want to eat?"

"A philly cheesesteak and some of those bacon-cheesy fries from Sbarro's, with ranch for the fries," I spoke up at once, already eyeing the restaurant across the way from where we were seated, "that sounds really good right now."

"I want the same thing," my twin spoke up, playing with Aya's little hands. The little baby was as happy as could be, babbling and cooing away, a direct opposite of the red-faced, screaming infant that we'd taken into the restroom to clean up. I didn't understand how she didn't like being dirty, but she hated to have her diaper changed.

"Alright, I'm gonna go get your food. I think I want one of those, too. What do you want to drink?"

"A blue raspberry lemonade from Auntie Annie's Pretzels." We chorused, and then yelped, "jinx!" Our soon-to-be brother in-law laughed at us and left to get the food, leaving us alone to hold the table. I touched Chai's arm, "you want to take out her car seat and sit her in it?"

"No, she's fine," she responded, "I can hold her."

"Oh, wow," some grating, annoying chick's voice chirped, "you have a kid, too? What a charity case." I turned to look at the culprit, a tall, anorexic-thin girl with platinum blonde and electric blue hair, with eyes the color of glaciers, and rolled my eyes, "you're kidding, right? Do either of us look old enough to have a kid?"

"Oh, you're the other one," she looked down her nose at me, "and you're never too old to become a whore."

"So you can become a whore at four years of age, then?" We all jerked at the new voice, and the rude blonde chick moved aside to reveal our older sister, who looked positively livid. She stepped around the girl, eyeing her up, "it's nice to know how far the majority of the upcoming generation has fallen. So, tell me," a smirk formed on her lips, "what ever did my little sister do to you for you to have reason to call her such a rude name? Because, as far as I know, she's never seen you before in her life."

"Oh, come on," the blonde blurted, "like they're actually your sisters."

"Why would I lie about that?" Pan asked, brow raised, "I don't have a reason to, and, frankly, I don't see how my life is any of your business, kid. Kami, you people think I'm actually going to walk around, flashing blood and DNA tests to prove you all wrong, well you've got another thing coming. You can think what you want, but you should, at least, know that your opinions on this matter, or any other matter, have no effect on me, whatsoever. So you, little girl, can run along, back to your tweeny, mundane little life, and leave those of us in the big leagues alone."

"I-" the girl stuttered, trying to find a response, "you- they-"

"My sisters did nothing to you," big sissy reiterated, "and yet you come up to them and harass and ridicule them. Don't you have a life? Some boy-band that you're following on Twitter or Instagram? Something? It's hilarious and all that you're so insulted by something that doesn't even effect you, but we've better things to do than listen to you whine about our lives and what we do with them when you should be living your own. Now, run along and find something else to gossip to your friends about and leave us alone."

The girl disappeared into the crowd and Pan took a seat at the table, grumbling under her breath, "kids these days, where the heck do they get off, talking to anyone any kind of way?" I shrugged, "Grandma would say 'that's city girls for you'." Big sissy laughed, "nah, she'd already have her Pan of Doom out."

"Did she bother you earlier, in the bookstore?" I asked Chyna, who had begun to look withdrawn from the moment that the blonde chick spoke. She nodded once, "there was another girl with her, who tried to get her to stop, but she wouldn't listen."

"Kids these days are a lot more stupid and disrespectful," Pan told us softly, "they don't have respect for themselves, their elders, or their friends and other kids their age. As you saw with that girl. I mean, who's she to call someone else a whore when she's running around the mall in a midriff top and some shorts that might as well be underwear?"

"She doesn't know you at all, Chai," I squeezed her hand, "if she knew about what we've been through, then she probably wouldn't have said anything. Sure, you almost had a baby, but you never had a choice. Don't blame yourself."

"I went back to Barnes and Noble and got those books you'd picked out," Panny whispered, pressing a kiss to Chyna's cheek, "just because people like to act like idiots doesn't mean that you shouldn't get some new reading material. It's not mooching if I just love spoiling the two of you and spending money on you. It's showing love."

"We love you and we don't like to see you sad," I hugged her gently, "you heard Panny, she's just a nosy idiot with nothing better to do."

"I didn't call her an idiot," big sissy admonished, "I may have implied it, though." A smile formed on Chai's cheeks, and Pan gently took Ayame from her, "you'll be starting public school, soon, Chai-chan, and I can't promise you that everyone's not going to be like that girl. People are going to ask you things that make you uncomfortable and hurt your feelings, but running off and crying about it won't make it better. You're going to have to toughen up a little and not let them get to you. If you show them your weaknesses, they'll never leave you alone."

(A/N: Pan's advice was basically what I had to learn in middle school. People were stupid and rude to me for no reason, and I'd cry about it, but, as time went on, I realized that I should be honored that the bullies were wasting their lives trying to make mine miserable and I got over it. Learning to ignore is probably the most powerful and useful lesson someone could learn. Once they see that they're not getting through to you, they'll get bored and leave you alone.)

"I know," she responded quietly, "but why do they do it?"

"There's many reasons why people like to hurt others, it could be because they're from an abusive home and that's the only way they know how to interact with others, or just because bullying people makes them feel better about themselves. I'm not going to lie, bullying gives you a rush, but it's definitely not okay," Pan responded, "it's never okay to hurt someone just to boost your self-worth and whatnot. You don't know what that other person is going through, if you say the wrong thing to them, you might influence them to do something bad, like self-harm or even suicide."

"You're like Papa, Chai, you're shy and sensitive and your emotions run very deep, but you can't let people use that against you," Panny smiled wanly, "now, I'm not saying you should shut yourself off entirely to avoid being hurt, that won't help at all and, later in life, you might have trouble trusting others because of it. Your sensitivity is a strength and a weakness, but it's entirely up to you when it comes to just how much of a weakness it'll be."

"I understand, sissy," Chyna smiled, "can we leave after we eat. I wanted to spar today."

"Yeah, we can have a two-on-two," I chimed in, "me and Chai up against you and Tru-niisan." Panny suddenly went pale, and I frowned, what's wrong with her?

Pan's POV

"Uh, girls... about that-"

"I got the food," Trunks appeared at that moment, toting a tray full of food and drinks, "hey, Pan-chan. I got you some baked potato soup from Great Wraps, and some bread sticks for you to dip in it."

"Sounds good," I responded, carefully ignoring my sister's curious faces, "did you get me a blue raspberry lemonade, too?"

"Of course," my fiance rolled his eyes, "what kind of fool do you take me for?" I raised a brow at him, "do you want me to answer that? Do you really want me to answer that? You might not like the answer."

"You wound me, Mrs. Briefs to-be."

"I wouldn't be me if I didn't, Mr. Briefs," I responded, giggling, "lets eat so we can head home."

*at home*

"Hey, Mama," I greeted as I opened the door, toting a sleeping Ayame in her carseat, "guess who's napping?" My mother smiled as she came over to greet me, hugging me and kissing my cheek, "Panny, you're glowing today. What've you been up to that's got you looking so good?"

"We had a rather interesting time at the mall, today," I swiftly and subtly changed the subject, "this horrible girl was harassing Corra and Chyna." Mama took the carseat from me and carried Aya into the living room to put her on the couch, "really? Kami, kids have no respect these days."

"That's what I was saying," I murmured, following her around the couch, "but after that, we decided that we'd had enough of the mall and ate something before coming back here. Now, as for baby girl, here, she ate some strawberries and bananas and a small bottle at the mall, so she might need a diaper change in a half hour or so."

"That's fine," she nodded, turning to watch the twins head upstairs, "it's been a whole year. Look at how much they've grown." I nodded in agreement as Trunks headed up to my old room to change into his spare gi, "Corra's almost my height."

"You're only 5,2, just like me," Mama snorted with laughter, "so it's not that far to go." I rolled my eyes at her, and knelt down to undo the straps on Aya's car seat, "I'm going to put her in her travel crib and get these jeans and shoes off of her so she'll be a little more comfortable, and then," I smiled as the baby blinked sleepy blue eyes at us, "we're going to spar in Papa's favorite spot."

"You go change, I'll get her comfortable and laid back down," Mama shooed me away, "go on, I've done this before."

I laughed and headed upstairs to my old room, anxiously looking forward to telling the twin's the news. I was much better at keeping a secret from everyone else, I'd known them forever, but the twins were harder to keep things from because I was always learning new things about them, but I knew I could trust them to keep the baby a secret until the wedding.

*later on* (A/N: I'm going to gloss over the spar and skip to the end.)

"So," Corra landed next to where I sat on the grass, 'why didn't you spar with us, sis?" Chyna landed next to her twin, looking at me suspiciously. Trunks plopped next to me and sprawled on his back, bruised and slightly bloody from the twin's onslaught. They'd become quite the formidable force when fighting together. I leaned over and touched his cheek to get his attention.

'So,' I telepathically spoke, 'shall we?'

'You're sure?'

'Positive.'

"Alright, girlies, I didn't spar with you because..." I hit Trunks, "sit up, this is your news, too." He jerked upright, rubbing at his arm, "ow, Pan-chan, that hurt." The twins giggled at his indignant cry and I rubbed his arm, "I'm so sorry... that you're such a whiner sometimes."

"Well, I've got an important question for you two," I turned my attention to the girls, "how do you feel about being Aunties in about seven months?"

Trunks laid a hand on my stomach, where my barely-there bump was hidden under my loose t-shirt. Their reactions were comical. Corra's eyes went wide, and she gave a high-pitched squeak of surprise. Chyna dove into my arms, hugging me tightly, "Oh my gosh, you're really pregnant?"

"Yep," I murmured, kissing her forehead, "about two months along. That's actually the reason why I fainted at work last week, Miss Worrywart."

"We're going to be aunties," Corra squeaked, " seriously?"

"Yeah, you are," Trunks chimed in, "I'm glad to see you're so excited."

"Well, yeah," Corrie-chan gushed, "we're going to be aunts. Just wait till Mama and Papa find out they're going to be Grandparents-"

"That," I pressed a finger against her pink lips, "is another thing. We're going to keep this a secret between the four of us. And Dende, of course. No one else can know until after the wedding."

"Why?" the twins chorused, and Trunks paled considerably. I shrugged, "I wanted to surprise everyone at the reception... and keep Papa from finding an excuse to kill Trunks."

The girls nodded in understanding, and Chyna patted Trunks' arm reassuringly, "we'll protect you, Tru-niisan." I burst into laughter at the utter seriousness in her voice, and the others joined me after a moment, our laughter echoing through the meadow.

One more month... good Kami, we've got so much to look forward to next year...

And that concludes the last one shot. LUVR 4 Trunks n Vegeta, you got your wish! It was supposed to be shorter than this, but yeah... This happened. I feel like it could've been better, but I did the best I could with it. The twin's perspectives were probably the hardest to write. Hope you enjoyed this read! If anyone wants to see my portrayal of Trunks and Pan with a family, check out 'A Dash of Fluff'. It, unfortunately, doesn't include the twins, though.
