Before I begin the next chapter of this story I will respond to a fan who actually had the courage to respond about my story, and admit her disdain for it.

Praveen Lakra who is a Ramy Fan on wrote this last week in response to my story:

In response I appreciate the criticism for what you wrote, and I believe that you are one of many who have this view of my story. However you forgot as a supporter of this story wrote. This is FANFICTION, and this is my story. I wrote this story for you RAMY FANS the truth of what you didn't want to see. Many of you are young, ignorant, and in my belief totally clueless about men, and life. I mean look at the vulgarity of your comment, and you have commented on several RAMY Story's that don't follow any pattern of the show, much less the finale. They even eliminate key main character's, claiming they don't exist, and you said nothing but praise to them. This story is for me, because unlike you I am a male fan. I like Ben because he is a representation of all the guys that you RAMY fans scoff at for what ever reason.

Unlike all of you I didn't pay attention to Ricky and his looks, or how cute things are, I paid attention to the detail, and there was not much. There was little detail in the show to make any sense, it's why Secret Life developed as they say a "CULT FAN BASE". That means that the people who followed it lacked reason, but had an undeniable obsession with it. Of which I am guilty as well. I started to watch the show, and the web site in a thesis for college to show how women place a higher detail on looks, which get them involved in the situations that cause many of them to be placed in dangerous situations. I did this when my class reviewed the disappearance of the now infamous "Natalie Holloway" case.

In time I became obsessed with Ben for his total "IGNORANCE" of women. I wondered how any guy could be so stupid to love a girl who clearly only wanted him for money. To claim Amy was anything more than a SELFISH GOLD DIGGING BITCH would be the biggest lie any RAMY FAN ever told. In the entirety of Ben and Amy or BAMY relationship, she did NOTHING to facilitate him in their relationship. I know that many of you think that Ben should consider himself lucky to be with Amy, but why? Amy wasn't that pretty, wasn't that smart, wasn't that kind, wasn't fun at all, was totally selfish, and completely dishonest. Proof of this was how she got pregnant in the first place. She was informed about Ricky, and still had un-protected sex with him after only knowing him 6 to 8 hours. Even in that time she knew little to nothing about him. In other situations like this Ricky would have been accused of rape, but she admitted she allowed him to do what ever he wanted to her. WHY?

Why would a 15 year old girl let a literal perfect stranger take her innocence from her? You all praise Ricky for what ever reason, but if he were truly a good person he would not have done that at all. He definitely wouldn't have done it, without using protection. Unless, that was his plan all along. I'm sure Ricky didn't think that it would happen so fast, but I'm sure, and you know that was all he wanted from Amy. But I'm also sure he wouldn't have used a condom even if he did take time. The reason, he knew Amy was a virgin, he knew Amy might not have anything, and he didn't care. As a man, I know for a fact what the show refused to admit. The greatest pleasure for any man would be to as some would say "GO RAW DOG IN A VIRGIN". Ricky knew that Amy might, just might not have anything, but he didn't even care if he did. I mean it was admitted on the show she wasn't the first girl he didn't use protection with, or the last. It was also admitted he didn't get tested. Which shows Ricky had no care for himself, or any sexual partner he had. Even Adrian refused to have sex without protection, and she admitted she had regular check-ups. So how come Ricky who admitted he had a very active sex life even more than Adrian, not do this. I mean he is the ADOPTIVE SON of a SOCIAL WORKER, and A DOCTOR? How come he didn't take better care of himself or at least his partner's?

You all give Ben a bad reputation for his "OBSESSION OVER AMY", and his "POOR DECISION MAKING". But even his "MISTAKES" are not done because of his ignorance their made because he actually cares. Amy tried to have sex with Ben, after his assault when defending her honor to one of the largest bullies in school, but "HE REFUSED". She tried again later on, "HE STILL REFUSED". Maria Mancini tried in Italy, he "REFUSED". The only person he didn't refuse was "ADRIAN & ALICE". He did that because at the time he was in extreme emotional distress. Which proves Ben let's his emotions guide him not his head. Even so his head in my opinion is only filled with "BOOK SENSE" NOT MUCH "COMMON SENSE". But that is because of his father "LEO". I say this because in my opinion Leo is one of the poorest parent's on the show. Considering GEORGE/ANNE who let their children run free when neither has the emotional or mental maturity to do so. CINDY/RUEBEN who both abandoned their daughter for their careers. SHAKUR/MARGARET who let their son do whatever he wants to whoever he wants with regard to morality or consequence to his actions. Even BOB/NORA who introduced drugs, abuse, and mental and emotional conflict into their son are not as bad as Leo, in my opinion.

My reason for this Leo literally had the perfect child, and it was his ignorant influence, and interference that led to his downfall. Leo was the one who encouraged Ben to date Amy, even though part of Ben had his doubts. In some cases he just tried to boost his son's confidence, but I still wonder why didn't he listen to the doubts Ben had about Amy. Sometimes a person has a sense about some situations, and that sense tell's them to be cautious. Leo forced Ben to ignore that common sense claiming Ben and Amy could be like He and his wife Sarah. It stunned me that Leo did that, when his son was only 15. He and his wife were an anomaly to find one another so young. Worst of all Leo refused to caution Ben about women who would try to take advantage of him because of his wealth. Which is EXACTLY WHAT AMY, and SADLY EVEN ADRIAN DID.

I don't say this because I'm being mean, if any of you have read any of my other stories you know I liked Ben's relationship with Adrian, and in the beginning even Amy. But with Amy I never sensed that she cared about the consequences her situation could have on Ben, and for someone to love another "THINKING ABOUT THEIR NEEDS SHOULD ALWAYS COME BEFORE YOUR OWN". I actually got that from Adrian, when she lied about the pregnancy. I saw that both Adrian and Ben in Season 1 were a better match than any other couple on the show. She wanted a man that loved and cared about her. Someone that wanted to make her happy and be their for her. Ben wanted a woman that loved him for who he was, not what he looked like, or what he had. He wanted someone to love, and protect. Even the first school counselor Mr. Molina saw that. I think that is why he took more of an interest in them than Ricky/Amy or Jack/Grace. Even you RAMY/RADRIAN FANS Saw it. But we don't live in a world where people think about the emotional or moral need of other's we live in a world where people are like you SEVERAL RAMY FANS. Shallow, Immoral, Selfish, and Cruel. You didn't care about needs, you cared about, "HOW CUTE IT WOULD LOOK". You never looked at the details, that is why their were so few in the show, and in many of your stories. Honestly their are only 5 SECRET LIFE RAMY WRITER'S, I think are any good. There are literally over 300 of you, and 1000's of fans.

In your stories you concentrate on Ricky and Amy being perfect, where Ricky does nothing wrong. You actually glorify him, and demonize all other character's. You turn Ben into some psycho villain, who every character shuns to portray Ricky as the greatest. You even want to destroy his relationship with his father to do this. You claim Leo would die and leave everything he had to Ricky. Yeah, I'm sure he would have no psychological, or emotional problem doing that. You don't even ask the question how his death would affect anyone, especially not his own, and only son Ben. You forget he has no one else in the world when Leo dies. He would see his mom, his dad, and his child's grave while Ricky lived it up in his family home, his family company, with their money. Do you even understand the ignorance of that. Do you even think about Leo's death and the guilt of his conscience when he faces his mortality. I guess that is why you never have a death scene in any of your stories. But you love for Ben to kill himself. That would eliminate everything, Ben is dead, and he has no regret or guilt about leaving all that was built by his family for Ben to the people that caused his death. If he were to do that he would literally be a worse father than Bob.

But the thing I will never get is why you hatred of Ben is there. Then the person who commissioned me to write this story told me. "Because you believe that if Ben were not around, and Leo became this FATHER SYMBIOT to Ricky, he would become a "BETTER LOOKING VERSION OF BEN. It's not Ben you hate it's the package he's in. I hate to tell you Leo is NOT THE ONE who Ben got his COMPASSION OR HIS STRENGTH FROM. In all honesty it's the "EXACT OPPOSITE". Leo is the one where Ben got his "OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER FROM". Remember Leo was the one who introduced the idea of marriage to Amy, and Adrian to Ben. Then backed out at the last minute. He was also the one who liked to RUSH RELATIONSHIPS WITHOUT THINKING. He did marry Betty after knowing her 3 MONTHS, then divorced her after a year. In all honesty I think Betty was better for Ben as a mother because she actually thought about his needs, and what he was going through. Leo stood there and let another woman hit his son, and laughed. Can you tell me if Ben's mother were to have seen that, who would she want to kill Camille for hitting her son, or Leo for letting it happen and laughing. Whether Ben deserved it or not. Leo never realized or listened to all the pain, anger, and loss his son spoke to him in that moment, and he didn't care. Neither did you RAMY FANS.

This story is the focus on a Ben that found people that did care about him. That listened to the pain he had. In the 5 years this show was on, I literally can't think of one person other than Chloe, and Dylan that actually saw how much pain Ben was in. All Leo did was literally REWARD people for hurting and humiliating his son. You PRAVEEN LAKRA hate that. You hate that this Ben is the MATURE BEN that you all said he wasn't. This Ben realizes that his biggest if not his only problem were the people around him. Their problems were themselves. Ben didn't make Amy do anything, she chose to go to New York on her own. She did this after she got mad at Ricky for wanting the same thing. Ben didn't force Ricky to cheat on Amy twice, or lie about being married, or not get married. They did that on their own. He didn't force Omar to break up with Adrian, or manipulate her to do whatever he wanted, he did that on his own. He didn't force Adrian to sleep with Henry, or force Henry to break up with Alice. He didn't force Alice to sleep with him, he just chose to sleep with her to get back at Henry.

You all love to change the rules with Ben because it allows you to blind yourself to the flaws of your favorite character's. In this story "The Rules are FAIR". Ben has the same flaws as everyone else. So if you want keep reading if you want to post hate against it do that. But if I were you and you want a good Secret Life FAN FIC read which doesn't play favorites KEEP READING. Because I haven't even let "ONE SHOE DROP IN THIS STORY" When the shoe drops you will be shocked, "WHEN THE HAMMER FALLS" you will be blown away. So "PRAVEEN LAKRA" thank you for Responding, and your criticism, next time please leave a less vulgar message, and details that explain what you don't like.
