**Hello everyone. I just wanted to thank those who have been reading this story, and who have reviewed. I don't always reply to all reviews, but I do appreciate them. On with the story.**

The Island

It took another half hour to get everyone prepared to enter the complex. There were some arguments about who was going with what group. Elliot refused to go without Parker and Hardison in his group because he trusted them, and he wanted to be able to protect them. Brennan opted to go with the Charmed Ones because she was the most fluent in Latin and could perform the exorcism as well as Sam and Dean. The others split themselves between the groups, hoping to be able to hold off any demons long enough to kill them, or for someone to perform and exorcism.

Faith joined Buffy as they moved into place, "I gotta say, B, I wouldn't wanna be in your shoes."

Buffy looks down, "Why not? I think they're cute."

"That's not what I…" she starts to say, but sees Buffy's shoulders shaking slightly with contained laughter, "A joke. Funny. Didn't think you had it in you. But seriously, the way you stepped up to lead everyone, I don't think I could handle that."

Buffy sighed, "You could, and you would if you had to. We are the Slayers. It's our job to take out the bad guys."

Faith had always looked up to Buffy, and was a little jealous of her life and family. Seeing how she pulled it together after finding out about her mother shows exactly how strong she really is, and it has nothing to do with being the Slayer, "Well, I got your back, B. Always." They shared a smile before putting their game faces on.

San Francisco-Halliwell Manor

Leo orbed back into the manor with a smile on his face, "I have some good news. We-"

"You found them?" Giles asked.

Leo shook his head, "No, but the elders have agreed to help as much as they can. There is a ship waiting for us in the harbor. They've sent a few white lighters to secure the ship and they will help me orb it to the area that we indicated on the map. They can't really do anything else, but this way we don't have to deal with travel time."

"Well, that's something at least, right?" Claire asked.

Noah smiled down at his daughter, "Yeah, it's something, baby girl."

Xander clapped his hands together, "Well, what're we waiting for? Let's go find our friends."

"Wait, what about the Nexus that you needed to protect. Isn't that why you left in the first place?" Nate asked.

A loud banging sounded throughout the house and everyone exchanged glances, but Leo didn't seem fazed, "That would be our replacements now."

They followed him down the stairs and to the door. When it opened there were mixed responses. Fairies, dwarves, and a large man with bad body odor stepped through, causing gasps, laughter, and shock. It was Oz that broke the silence, "You're going to have little people protecting your house?"

"We're descendants of the seven Dwarves wolf boy."

Claire looked at her dad, "They're real?"

"Of course we're real little girl. Where do you think your fairytales come from?"

"Why'd you call him wolf boy?" Bobby questioned.

"He's a werewolf, duh."

Bobby took a step away from Oz, "Ah, balls."

Giles rolled his eyes at the hunter, "He keeps himself locked in a cage during the full moon. He didn't ask for it, nor does he take it lightly. Now if we can please go."

They all joined hands so that Leo could orb them out, and the last thing anyone heard was Booth muttering, "I'm going to need so much therapy after this."

The Island

Everyone was tensed, waiting for the call from Willow to start the attack. Piper was clutching Phoebe's hand in her own. She was worried about losing her the same way she lost Prue. She didn't think she could handle losing another sister. It was with this thought that she looked to Paige who was standing off to the side, sneaking glances at them and looking out of place.

Swallowing her doubts about letting this new addition in, she reached out toward her newest sister and clasped her hand. Paige jumped slightly at the contact, but smiled and moved closer. Closing her eyes, she allowed the comfort of her sisters to ease her mind. She had to focus, and concentrate on keeping the people with her safe.

There was a loud explosion on the other side of the island, followed by flames shooting into the air. She could see smoke rising, and finally Willow's voice sounded in her ear, "Attack!"

She turned to her group, "Let's go!" They moved quickly but quietly, trying to make their way as far into the complex as they can without drawing attention.

They made it through the door when all hell broke loose. Demons emerged from all around, trying to block them in. She could hear Dr. Brennan talking quietly, trying to perform the exorcism. She threw her hands up to freeze the room, instead causing the demon in front of her to explode. All movement stopped for a moment as all eyes were on the ashes, shock evident on Piper's face.

Brennan never stopped reading, but it didn't take long for the demons to regain their senses and charge forward again. This time when Piper's hands came up the room froze, but many of the demons were fighting against it. "Read faster," yelled Phoebe. Brennan finished the incantation and black smoke expelled from five of the demons, but the rest were breaking through Piper's freeze and barreling down on them once again.

Piper wasn't sure how the communication with Willow worked, but she decided to give it a shot, "Willow! We're being overrun, we need help!"

High above the battlefield on a cliff face, Willow was watching the battle unfold. When Peter started the initial assault she waited for a few minutes to give the demons time to move towards him before setting everyone else off. She realized her mistake when she heard Peter call out that only a few demons showed up. It was Piper's call that spurred her into action.

She focused on Peter, "Peter, the demons are at the West entrance. They figured out our plan or something because Piper and the others are in trouble!"

"On it," came his simple reply before he teleported over to help the others.

"Hold on Piper, Peter is on his way to you now," she called out.

"He's here, but we have a couple of casualties," was the reply.

"Buffy, they knew Peter was a distraction and they converged on Piper and the others. He's there with them now, but we've lost a few."

It took Buffy a second to answer her, "We've had our work cut out for us here. We have a few wounded, but no dead. Elliot is moving towards Piper now."

Sam's voice was the next to enter her head, "Willow, tell Buffy and Faith to draw the demon down here. We set up a devil's trap in the observation room."

"Thanks, Sam," she concentrated back on Buffy, "Buffy, Sam and Dean said to draw the demon down to the observation room. They set up a devil's trap."

"What will a devil's trap do?" Buffy replied.

Willow sighed, "It will trap the demon. He won't be able to get out or hurt anyone."

"Well we have to find him first, but we will…Faith look out!" Buffy shouted.

Willow focused on Faith, "Are you okay, Faith?"

"Five by five, Will. Found big daddy demon though," she answered.

"Get him down to Sam and Dean in the observatory. They're on the bottom floor."

Buffy slammed into the demon, sending them both to the floor. His laughter chilled her as he grasped onto her, trying to crush her. She wasn't about to go down without taking him with her. She wiggled her body enough to smash her forehead into his nose and her knee into his groin. His laughter increased, and she decided that she seriously needed to rethink her strategy when Faith grabbed her and dislodged her from him.

Faith pulled Buffy to her feet and they took their stances side by side. They had fought many battles together and were comfortable with each other's styles. Faith moved in to the demon's right, while Buffy went low and to the left. He wasn't fool though and dove over Buffy to avoid both hits.

The Slayers realigned themselves side by side before they went back in, this time they went head on with the demon. They each landed a few hits before he smoked out and reappeared behind them on the other side of the room. Faith smirked, "You can't tell me you're scared of a couple of girls."

He surprised them by rushing them and knocking them apart. He was materializing when Buffy caught Faith's eye and they both made a break for the door. They made it through seconds before the smoke, causing them to push themselves harder. It wasn't enough, the smoke caught them as they were reaching the stairs leading to the lower levels.

Faith's legs were knocked out from under her and she hit the wall hard, tumbling down the stairs and landed in a heap at the bottom, "Faith!"

She took the steps as fast as she could, trying to get away from the smoke, but she got tripped up on one of Faith's legs at the bottom and landed hard on her knee. She looked back to see the smoke towering over her, about to engulf her. She tried to push up on her feet, but her knee gave out on her.

She was ready to resign herself to her fate when intense heat flew past her and slammed into the smoke, causing it to back off. Strong arms wrapped around her and she was pulled down the hall with the smoke following behind. She looked over her shoulder and saw Peter's dark hair and smiled. Maybe it wasn't over after all.

They made it into the room where Dean and Sam were set up in time to be thrown across the room by the demon. Buffy groaned when Dean grabbed her arm to help her up. Her knee was killing her and now, so was the rest of her body. The only thing that could make her happy at the moment was when the demon's enraged voice called out, "WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?!"

Sam was satisfied to see that the devil's trap idea worked. He had found it in his father's journal yesterday, but didn't want to say anything if it didn't work. Luckily for them, it did. The demon was in human form now, and apparently unable to get out of their circle.

"When I get out of here I will skin you all alive," he growled menacingly.

Sam watched as Buffy approached him, limping slightly, "That's not really incentive to let you out, now is it?"

"Sam, is everything okay?" Willow called to him.

"Yeah, the trap worked. Buffy is talking to the demon now," he replied.

"Where's Faith?"

Sam looked around, just now noticing that they were down a Slayer. Circling around the devil's trap he made his way back from where Buffy and Peter came. At the end of the hall he could see a body and rushed towards it. Blood was pooling around Faith's head, and her leg was at an odd angle, "Willow, Faith's hurt bad. We need a doctor."

Moments later Willow was back, "Dr. Brennan is on her way right now, just stay with her."

**Sorry to leave it here, but I will be posting the interrogation and stuff next week. I think that there are only two or three more chapters left in this story so we will see.**
