The two honeymooners had spent a week at their chalet. They had spent some time in Jasper, and had even taken a cooking lesson again. Harry had been amazed with his gift; the chalet had meant the world to him. But as much as he loved it, he was excited to see what else Lucius had planned for them. Lucius had a number of plans for them. They had never done Africa, Asia or Australia together, but remained in the western hemisphere for the honeymoon. But even with all of the time they had spent there before, and had many plans for his little husband.
Harry had no idea what to expect, but was excited as they took off on the next part of their honeymoon. He was happy to live in London, and play quidditch, but he missed this. So had Lucius, and during Harry's off seasons, he planned for them to travel.
Harry looked around when his head cleared. "Where are we?"
Lucius smiled. "Brazil."
Harry was amazed. "Beautiful."
Lucius had brought them to the falls. "I thought we'd start here."
Harry was led to a boat launch. "Not getting lost on the Amazon?"
Lucius shook his head. "Not till tomorrow."
Harry raised an eyebrow. "Tomorrow?"
Lucius pulled him in. "Have plans for tonight."
Harry kissed him. "Plans?"
Lucius helped him into the boat. "You'll have to wait and see."
Harry was amazed as the boat took off. "Getting a bit close aren't we?"
Lucius laughed. "That is the point."
Harry was amazed as he took a picture of a rainbow. "Incredible."
Lucius held him. "Have seen nothing yet."
Harry looked up where he could see some walks. "Going up."
Lucius nodded. "You could say that."
There were walk ways over the water, but Lucius did nothing small. Back on land, they went for an early lunch first though, at a small restaurant at a nearby resort. Harry had no idea what his husband had planned, as they headed to apparate. Harry was thinking of the top of the falls, when they were on the boat. But the resort was up there, and they had been enjoying the patio, as they dined.
Lucius led Harry though out to a field, and he could see his husband's shock, when Harry saw what they were coming for. He knew how much Harry loved heights, and while the views from the restaurant and boat were amazing, this was more.
Harry looked at the small helicopter. "That is for us?"
Lucius nodded. "Best views."
Harry smirked. "No jumping out?"
Lucius had a coy smile. "Well if I wanted to be a widower…"
Harry elbowed him. "Keep that up, and this will be a short marriage."
Lucius led him to the helicopter. "No exit until on the ground."
Harry buckled in. "Just to be careful."
Lucius reminded him. "I waited too long to have you, to give you up now."
Harry smirked as he put on the head set. "Maybe you are the one who should buckle up."
Lucius did but as needed. "I don't think you're ready to be rid of me."
Harry shrugged. "May want a younger model."
Lucius snarled. "No younger model jokes on our honeymoon."
Harry laughed and promised. "Not until we get back home."
Lucius pulled him into a long kiss, as they took off the ground. Harry had always enjoyed heights, and he and Lucius had done a lot. The helicopter ride around the amazing falls, not just along the top but near the actual falling water, was breath taking. Lucius had considered them staying at the resort, but he had plans for them in Rio. They would be in Brazil for a week, and would have plenty of time for the wilderness. After the amazing helicopter ride, they headed early into Rio, and Harry had to laugh at their next stop.
Harry smirked. "Dance lessons."
Lucius nodded. "Have to learn to tango."
Harry reminded him. "Think that's Argentina."
Lucius conceded. "But we can still learn a move or two."
Harry was led into the class. "Most couples take dance lessons before the wedding."
Lucius had thought about that. "I think we did well enough."
Harry snorted. "Your toes have short memory?"
Lucius kissed him. "Maybe inspired the choice."
Harry watched as the music began. "You may be black and blue."
Lucius took Harry into his arms. "Will take my chances."
Harry was trying. "Don't complain I didn't warn you."
Lucius grimaced at the first misstep but assured him. "I didn't marry you for your dancing skills."
Harry felt more at ease. "I'd have had to become a monk."
Harry may have had two left feet, but he did manage to pick up a bit. And the lesson was fun, before they headed off for dinner. Harry was amazed not to be taken to a restaurant, but had a picnic up at the Christ the redeemer statue. There were perks to being wizards, and having wans for privacy. The views were amazing, as was the meal. They did go into Rio, and try out some of their new moves, in some of the clubs.
Later in bed Lucius assured him. "Tomorrow we head out for some of the real wild life."
Five weeks of travel had been amazing. Though a longer honeymoon then most, considering their past travels, it wasn't much. They had done Brazil, Argentina and Ecuador, where they had gone to the Galapagos Islands. They definitely had a lot of fun, and a great deal of inspiration for their love making as well. Harry had let his team know he was trying, and they were happy for paternity leave, when he needed. He could play with stasis until his last trimester, and he'd likely take a few months off after. But that could wait, for now they needed to get pregnant.
They arrived home in time to welcome Harry's new godson, Victoire and Siobhan remaining the only granddaughters. Hermione and Ron named their son Hugo. Fleur and Bill, and Percy and Penny were expecting near Christmas. But in June, it was a Malfoy birth to celebrate.
Harry smiled as he watched his husband. "Sit."
Lucius didn't. "I can't."
Harry laughed. "He could be in labor for hours."
Lucius smirked. "No."
Harry wasn't sure. "A seer are you? This is Blaise's first."
Lucius stopped. "He called us."
Maria had appeared. "I told him not to, till the baby was close."
Harry eyed the woman. "I was wondering if you were in the country."
Maria turned to him. "This is my first grandchild."
Lucius stopped. "Draco did not tell me you were here."
She waved him off. "We came last night."
Harry noticed Alfonso had come. "I was not certain you'd be here."
Alfonso shrugged. "He is my stepson."
Maria actually had a wistful look. "Carlo would have been so happy."
Lucius whispered to Harry. "Blaise's father."
Harry had never heard the man's name, even when in Italy. Maria had not got along with Carlo' family, but she had loved her first husband. Lucius had told Harry, as far as he knew, Maria had married for love only once. Carlo had been her age; they had eloped, and had a few good years. Unfortunately he had fallen victim to the early years of the war, when Blaise was only a baby. Carlo' parents never approved, and had him sign a pre-nup, ensuring all his money went to Blaise. She had married much older men since, likely why Alphonso was the longest living one.
Maria had been surprised, when she learned Lucius had married Harry. She knew who he was, and he was no gold digger, of course. But she had never imagined Lucius would marry. Lucius was among the friend Carlo made, when he settled in London, after they had married.
Severus appeared with Remus. "I see we are not late."
Harry hugged his dad. "Wasn't certain you'd come."
Remus reminded him. "He is practically Severus' grandson."
Lucius whispered. "If we don't have three, one of Draco's likely will be the Prince heir."
Harry smirked. "Three? How about we have the first."
Remus looked at his son. "Something you need to tell us?"
Before Harry could say anything a nurse came. "You can go in."
Draco was smiling as they came in. "Come and see him."
Maria took the little boy. "You but for Draco's coloring."
Severus smirked. "Should have known, no matter the father, the blond and grey eyes would be stubborn."
Harry looked at the baby. "His name?"
Blaise did the honors. "Tibern Carlo Zaibini-Malfoy."
Draco explained. "We wanted to honor both families, even as my heir."
Though he would not honor his mother, Draco remembered the other Blacks. He took a name from Roman myth though, but also a link to a Roman emperor, Tiberius. His father, godfather and Malfoy names came from Roman culture. Blaise chose his father's name, to honor his own family. Blaise and Draco only planned on two, and a second would get the Zaibini money and any money from Maria. Severus and Remus could have no kids, so a third child from Harry and Lucius would likely get the Prince estate. If neither couple had a third, Severus would have to pick.
Draco said. "Adrian and Vince have agreed to be godfathers, since Grandpa Harry is out."
Harry was surprised. "Vince? As Crabbe?"
Blaise reminded him. "We were friends in school."
Draco understood. "He and his mother never supported his dad. Other than Adrian, one of our few close friends from school days."
Severus eyed Harry. "Now for an Uncle or Aunt for Tibern to play with."
Harry laughed. "As odd as a statement as that is, he only has till February to wait."
Lucius looked at his son. "You will have a little brother mid-February we learned yesterday."
Remus hugged Harry. "I am so happy for you. Boy or girl."
Draco laughed. "Kind of hoping for a sister."
Severus agreed. "Quite the picture."
Lucius glowered. "Traitors."
Harry kissed him. "But you have so much practice with Fleur."
Maria pointed out when Lucius mentioned Malfoys always have sons first. "You have Draco."
It was all good natured, and they wouldn't know for some time. Harry would love his first son, but smiled at the thought of Lucius with a girl. Both he and Lucius were happy it had not taken long, and all they wanted, was a healthy baby. They were having dinner at the Burrow later, and would tell the others there, but this had been perfect timing. Later that evening, when they shared the news with the Weasleys, they got an equally happy reception. Bill looked at Lucius and asked him about a daughter, and this time Lucius managed a small smile.
He looked at Victoire. "I may have to borrow my flower girl in that case, for tea party practice, if that is the case."
An: I hope you enjoyed. Taking a vote on gender and name of the new baby, Black or Potter heir as it stands.
Tibern Carlo: Tibern (Latin) from the Tiber. Roman minor god, personification of the Tiber River. In honor of his Black roots, taking name from Myth though not Greek. But also a form of Tiberius, for the Roman emperor, in honor of Lucius and the Malfoys, and Severus. Carlo (Italian) free man. Italian form of Charles. Blaise's father's name.
