"Should I tie myself to a train track?"

Kagome stared. She was silent for a long moment before replying.

"What?"

"Should I tie myself to a train track," Kikyo repeated. "I want a boyfriend. Preferably a prince. He'll save me just before the train hits me. Princes do that, right?"

Kagome stared again.

"Right?"

"...Right..." Kagome finally managed to reply with a roll of her eyes. "A big, handsome prince with, with sparkling blue eyes, and... and... and shiny shoes and a pony."

Kikyo squealed with delight.

"Oh my gosh, I love shiny shoes!" Kikyo said. "I have to find a train!"

She ran out the front door, calling over her shoulder as she went.

"Tell Inuyasha he can eat the crayon cake without me!"

And Kagome stared.
