Leah's POV

The pain the coursed through my entire body was unbearable.

My legs ached and my arms felt sore.

Every time i toke a breath, a series of pains shot through my chest and my throat was dry and cracked.

My head felt too heavy for my body to support and my mind was spinning.

I tried to open my eyes.

There was a pair of cold arms around me and my heart began to race.

They had got me it was time i was going to die.

My breathing became increased as i felt my head spin due to the amount of oxygen i was taking in.

Whoever was carrying me had stopped walking.

I braced myself to feel pain and then for my life to end but instead i was being lowered onto something soft.

It almost felt like a bed but it was too small.

I wanted to look Jane in the eye.

I wanted her to see me as she drained the life out of me.

My eyes fluttered open and joy spread through my whole body as instead of Jane's evil glared staring it me it was Carlisle.

I looked around and noticed immediately where i was.

A small sigh escaped my throat but it quickly turned into a cough.

I couldn't believe it, i was safe back where i belonged.

Carlisle stooped down so that we were at eye level.

'' How are you '' He asked me whilst place a cold hand on my forehead.

'' I've been better '' i managed to answer a little smile planting itself onto my face.

I was home with my family, friends and Embry.

I immediately began to try and stand i had to get to Embry i wanted to be in his embrace, i wanted to look into those beautiful eyes and spend the rest of my life there.

'' Embry '' I whispered as i reached my hand behind me to try and support myself so that i could stand.

Carlisle gave a feeble smile and gently placed his hand on my shoulder to push my back onto the sofa.

'' He is not here '' Carlisle said '' He, along with the rest of the pack are still in Volterra. I have also sent some of my family up there to help them ''

I was too weak to attempt to get back up but that didn't stop to the fear from slowly taking over my body.

Just then the kitchen door opened revealing Emily who was grinning wildly at me.

She was holding a cup of steaming hot coffee and one of her famous muffins.

She handed them to me as i thanked her.

I sipped at the coffee and it felt amazing.

The hot liquid slithered its way down my throat.

'' If you are feeling up to it '' Carlisle began '' There are a few girls who are dying to come and see you, i think they might eat me alive if i make them wait any longer''

I couldn't help but giggle at his last statement.

'' Of course '' i replied.

With that Carlisle stood and began to walk towards to kitchen door disappearing out of sight.

Mere seconds later Kim, Rachel, Claire and Nessie burst through the door.

'' How are you ''?

'' What happened? ''

'' What did they do ''?

'' Are you hurt ''?

It was hard to tell what question came from what girl as they were all just shouted out at the same time in a big jumble of voices.

'' I can answer all of your questions later when everyone gets here but first i want to know what happened here, how did you get me out '' I asked.

'' Well to cut a long story short '' Rachel said whilst settling herself on to the floor.

'' We sent Nessie to the Volturi claiming that she wanted to join , we prepared two vision for her to show them about how we all single her out, she told them that to hurt the pack the need to get us. ''

She stopped briefly to sip at her tea and then began.

'' They told her to come and get us and locked us all including Nessie, because she is an imprint, in the Cellar with you. Nessie sent a vision over to Alice of how to get into the room and Carlisle new a back entrance. The plan from there was the pack would go through the main entrance causing a distraction whilst the Cullen's came through the back to get us lot. They brought us all here and went back to help the pack and come up with some kind of Agreement with the Volturi. ''

I couldn't believe they had thought of all.

A smile immediately planted itself onto my face.

'' Thank you '' I managed to say before a single tear slide down my face.

Emily glanced up at the clock

'' They won't be long ''

Just a few more minutes and i will be back were i belong, in Embry's arms.
