You're a tease, you're the reason I lost it.
You're the worst, you're the best that I wanted.
I'll make you believe this is more than lust tonight.

Chapter Twenty-Five – A Change in Pace

I sat on the edge of Jeremy's bed as he laid down, burying his head in his pillow, desperately trying to fall asleep. I stood up and he lifted his head slightly and looked at me with one eye open, "Go to sleep. I'm just going to go downstairs for a little, you look like you're about to pass out."

He smiled and slammed his head back on the pillow, "You're the best."

I walked over to his door and opened it, "Yeah, I've been told." I walked out of his room when I heard a snicker from him and shut the door behind me. I walked down the stairs and saw Elena and Damon in the kitchen talking to Alaric.

I could hear Elena talking in the distance about Stefan, I'm not going to break. I am just going to keep making chili, pretend like I didn't just spend the entire summer looking for someone who didn't want to be found."

I walked into the room and they all glanced towards me, "Hope I'm not interrupting anything. Mmm, the chili smells wonderful, Elena."

"Save the small talk," Damon hissed and I rolled my eyes at him. "Still mad about the whole, "Oops, I forgot to tell you I knew the Originals" speech?"

He sent a glare, "The one that you decided to leave out? You know, Kass, that's a pretty big part of your life that you don't just keep to yourself."

"What do you want me to say, Day? Yes, I knew Klaus and Elijah, sorry for not telling you," I rolled my eyes and he smirked. "This isn't something that I wanted to bring you and Stefan into, I could fight my own battles with them. They were a big part of my past," I shrugged and he just kept watching me.

"Well a little heads up would have been nice," He muttered under his breath. "We have you, who's keeping things from us and then Elena's in denial."

She whispered to him, "I'm not in denial."

He walked over to her and touched her necklace, "No?" He asked staring at the necklace and he pulled away. "You're still wearing this necklace. Isn't this the reminder of your unbreakable bond with Stefan?"

I watched them intently and noticed Alaric doing the same thing, I heard the doorbell ring and Elena and Damon walked out of the room. I stayed behind and looked over at Alaric, "What is going on with them?"

He shrugged and put his hands up, "Wish I could tell you, but I don't like it."

"Do you need help with anything?" I asked him and he shot his head in my direction, "Jeremy is sleeping and I don't have anything better to do."

He looked around the kitchen, "What's going on between Jer and you?"

"Nothing," I said quickly and he quirked an eyebrow and I leaned against the counter. "He is with Bonnie, but I don't know."

He chuckled and I quirked my eyebrow this time, "You still like him and he obviously still has feelings for you."

"How do you know that?" I leaned back up straight and he shook his head, "It's that obvious, huh? Is it one of those things that it's obvious to everyone except them, kind of like that flirting that I can still taste in here right now?"

He laughed loudly and I broke into a small smile, "I like your attitude. And yeah, I think I still have an after taste of that flirting between Damon and Elena, as well."

"It's nice to see Damon actually having a friend, it might be surprising, but Damon hasn't had many friends throughout the years." I joked and Ric started laughing even harder than before, I saw Damon walk into the room.

He looked over and saw Alaric laughing then gave me a confused look, "What is going on in here?" Alaric straightened himself up and I bit my lip to keep in the laughter.

"Nothing, just some friendless jokes," I mumbled and Alaric laughed once again.

Damon pursed his lips together, "I believe the word you are looking for is friendly, not friendless." Damon corrected me and I nodded, "Yes, friendly is actually when someone has friends. Friendless is for someone like, hmm, per se, you."

He narrowed his eyes towards me, "Ha ha, very funny."

I walked out of the kitchen and towards the stairs and I saw Bonnie walk into the house, she looked up the stairs, "Bonnie!"

I kept walking until I got to the bottom of the stairs and I looked up to see Jeremy, "Jeremy!" Bonnie yelled and ran towards him, they both engulfed each other in a hug and kissed. When they pulled away, he looked at someone and I turned around but no one was there. Anna. He looked at me and I tilted my head the left and he ignored me.

Bonnie, Caroline and Elena all walked into the kitchen to finish the chili and Damon left the house to meet up with Liz. Jeremy walked towards me and I looked up at him, "This needs to stop now, Bonnie is home."

I stared back at him trying to understand what he just said to me, "I need to stop? You're the one that is seeing your dead ex-girlfriend when you're kissing your current girlfriend. Then coming up the girl that you have feelings for and start telling her to stop."

"How did you know I saw Anna?" He asked and I placed my hand on my hip.

"Graduated guess," I answered sarcastically. "It's not that hard when you look at nothing in sheer horror."

He swallowed hard and I pushed him towards the kitchen, "Just let's keep this between the two of us okay? I still haven't told Bonnie," I nodded and we walked into the kitchen.

"I feel as though we've been keeping a hell of a lot just between the two of us recently. But you know that's what I'm here for, cleaning up your messes," I rolled my eyes and followed him. When I walked in, Elena, Caroline and Bonnie were all standing over the pot of water staring at Elena's necklace. "What's going on?"

"My necklace," Elena looked up at me, "It burned me."

Bonnie grabbed it off of her and looked at them, "Let's go and I'll get the grimoire and we can try to figure out what's happening to it. Jeremy, you can stay here with Kassie and we'll meet up later at the party?" She suggested and I looked over at him and he just nodded slowly.

They left the house leaving Jeremy and I alone in the kitchen, I pushed myself up onto the counter and sat there. He paced around the room impatiently and I just watched, "Jer, are you okay?"

"No, I am not okay. I can't get Anna out of my head, but she can't just keep appearing whenever she wants to. I need to focus on Bonnie, I can't have the two of you as distractions." I pushed myself off and landed on the ground and forced him to look at me.

I grabbed his arm and he looked sad, "Did you ever think that maybe we aren't the distractions? Maybe you don't want to settle down with Bonnie so you're not only lying to us, but to yourself."

"I'm not lying to myself," He shouted and I put my hands up in defense. He shuffled in his shoes, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have snapped. It's just, I don't even know how this is possible, but I don't want it to go away. You know?"

"She was your first love, I get it. You can never truly shake them even if you think they're completely gone," I swallowed hard and he nodded.

He looked over at me, "You never told me. Who was your first love? You had to have had one," He asked and I darted my eyes away from him.

I cleared my throat and folded my arms across my chest, "No one. I've never been in love." He arched an eyebrow and I looked over at him quickly, "I was just saying I've been around a long time. Damon and Stefan still get affected by Katherine and it's been a century and a half. You know?"

"So what you're trying to say is, you've never been in love before? With anyone?" He didn't believe me. I just shrugged, trying to get off this topic, "What about that ring then? It's a diamond ring on your ring finger where did that come from?"

I looked down at my engagement ring and mentally slapped myself across the face. I looked back up at him, "It was my mother's." I lied and he nodded. "She gave it to me before she died," He threw his head back, believing me. I snorted, "What, you thought that I was engaged before?" He joined in and started laughing along with me.

"That would be a scene, you would probably end up ruining it." He joked and I stopped laughing and swallowed hard, "You'd do something stupid, that's what you're known for."

I fake laughed and bit the inside of my lip, "Yeah that would paint a funny picture."

"I bet I can guess how your first love would have went. So you meet at some party or something, right. You probably would do something stupid, like trip or spill your drink everywhere since you're clumsy. Then you would start dating, but you won't put up with their shit and you guys end up breaking up for a while. But then it's on and off for a while because you are such a pain in the ass. I think that'll be how it would go," He grinned like he was so proud of himself. I was a little proud of him myself, he guessed right on. Except minus the fighting and cheating, our very unstable relationship.

He snapped his fingers and I looked up at him confused, "Sorry, did I zone out?"

"Yeah, what were you thinking about?" He asked and I shrugged.

"Just finding my true love," I smiled weakly and he nodded. "Anyway, let's get you ready for this party. Bonnie will be expecting you."

"Aren't you going to come along with me?" He asked.

I shook my head, "No I'm not really up for it. You already will have Bonnie and Anna, no need to add me into the bunch. But listen, you need to tell Bonnie that you're seeing Anna."

"Why does she need to know?"

I grabbed his arm, "Perhaps I was in love before and we were dating, you would be perfectly okay with me seeing my dead ex-fi," I cut myself off and my eyes grew wide, "Ex-boyfriend." I corrected myself and he sighed.

"Okay, you're right," He licked his lips, "I'll tell her."

He left to go to the Founder's Party and I walked home, when I got there Nico was sitting in the living room. He had a glass of Scotch in his hand and I walked over to him and poured myself a glass and sat beside him. "What's wrong?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders, "What did Jeremy do this time? I thought everything was going well, you know, since I walked in on you guys a few days ago."

I chuckled and threw the rest of my glass back and looked over towards him. "He is still with Bonnie, so there's nothing I can do about any of it. I just thought that things were finally taking a turn and going my way."

"This is about that vampire from your past isn't it," He sighed and I nodded slowly. "You can't keep living in the past, Kass. If you keep thinking about him, things won't get better. Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, that it is time to let him go?"

My shoulders sunk forward and I leaned the back of my head against the cushion of the couch, "I want to let him go, I really do. But he was the first guy that I ever put myself out there for, he was my first love. I don't know if I could do that all over again, just to end up getting hurt."

"Believe me, you fall in love more than once. It's going to be just as thrilling and romantic as the last time and yeah, it might end just as tragic. But if you keep dwelling on the past, thinking that every relationship will end the same way, it will." I leaned my head against his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close. "I know that you like Jeremy, a lot. So if you want to be with him, this other guy who left you and hurt you, you're gonna have to let him go at some point."

The next day, I was sitting in the living room by myself and I heard a knock on the door. Damon answered it and I heard him talking to Elena-well Katherine. I stood up and walked into the room, "Feel like getting the hell out of Dodge?" Katherine asked and I leaned against the wall.

Damon turned back around to her, "You have impeccable timing. I was told that I need to take a beat."

"Is that a yes?" She asked and Damon shrugged and I took a step forward, "You can come too, Kassandra. I'll drive."

I bit on the inside of my lip, "Where are we going?"

Katherine looked over to me, "Away from here, that's all I'm going to give you for right now. But believe me," She held up Elena's necklace in her hand and Damon tried to snatch it but she pulled it away, "It's going to be good."

I nodded my head, "Why not. I have nothing to do around here anyway, I guess I could use a little getaway."

I woke up from the backseat and I could hear Katherine flirting with my brother. I groaned and she turned around to face me and she smirked, "You look adorable when you are sleeping. How could anyone ever pass you up, too bad they all do."

I rolled my eyes and pushed myself up so I was sitting. I stretched cracking my back and neck and she turned back around in her seat and faced Damon. Damon looked over at her, "We've been driving aimlessly for hours, where are we going?"

"Far enough away so that you can't go running back," Katherine answered and I stared out the window. We were in the middle of nowhere and the only thing that was around us were trees and more trees.

Damon looked back at the road, "Not to worry. Mystic Falls and I are on a bit of a break."

Katherine turned back around towards him and I glanced at them quickly. "You and Mystic Falls or Elena?" She climbed over closer to him and I sucked in a breath and tried to look away but found myself continuing to watch them.

"Let's just say Elena and I are having a bit of a difference of opinion of how I should be played."

Katherine ran her hand across his chest and up to his jawline. She caressed her hand along his skin, "Oh yes. Elena wants you to be pure but you don't like playing pretend." She leaned in closer to him.

He let out a quiet, "Something like that."

She put her fingers under his chin and turned his face to look at her, "Her loss." She whispered and they began to kiss hungrily. I leaned back in my seat astonished and my eyes grew wide as they continued to kiss.

It grew more heated and passionate but he pushed her away and looked back on the road. He kept driving and she leaned against the car window, "What are you doing?"

"Thought I'd give it a shot," He answered smugly. "Truth is," He looked over at her, "You just don't do it for my anymore." I felt myself begin to smirk as she turned away from him. I looked in the rearview mirror and he was smirking as well, she looked pissed on the other hand.

Damon pulled off to the side of the road when there was a little stop and climbed out of the car. I looked over at Katherine confused and she was wearing a matching expression as me. She climbed out and leaned against the roof of the car with her arm, "Why are we stopping?"

"Giving you a moment to stretch your legs. Take a moment from the sexual tension," He grinned and I climbed out of the backseat and leaned my back against the door of the car. "Tired of driving," He raised the keys in Katherine's direction and she walked around the car to get them, "It's your turn."

She went to grab the keys off of him but before she could, he chucked them into the wooded area. She turned around quickly, throwing her hands in the air, "Hey!"

I pushed myself off from against the car, "Damon, what the hell do you think you're doing?"

He turned around to me, "Once she spills her guts behind her motives, then we can continue. But we aren't going anywhere until that happens, understand?" He turned back around to Katherine.

They began to talk about Elena's necklace some more and I lost interest. I started to walk away from the car and onto the ground and I walked around in circles aimlessly. I heard Katherine walk towards the trunk and open it, Damon spoke next. "Jeremy, really?" I shot my head in that direction and saw them both looking at something in the trunk.

I appeared beside them and my eyes went wide when I saw Jeremy laying in there unconscious. I grabbed his arm but Katherine slapped me away, "You kidnapped Jeremy? Why?"

"He can make contact with the dead, why else would I? He peeked an interest in me," Katherine announced nonchalantly and Damon picked him up and placed him on the park's picnic table beside the car.

I put my hand to my forehead and rubbed my temples, "You kidnapped Jeremy." I repeated again in disbelief.

Katherine clapped her hands slowly, "Good job, you can put two and two together."

They were both bickering about Pearl and Anna, I was sitting beside Jeremy listening. Katherine was trying to prove her point when I heard Jeremy talk from behind me, "To me. Right back around to me."

I whipped myself around quickly and stood up, I grabbed his face in my hands and stroked my thumb along his cheek. "Are you okay? Are you hurt, Jer?"

He pulled my hands away, "I'm fine, I'm fine."

I turned back around to face Katherine, "Did you forget to leave out the part that you had Jeremy in your trunk? That is why you wanted me to come with you guys, you knew I could help you get the information out of him." I felt Jeremy grab my arm but I yanked it free, "He isn't helping you."

She smiled, "Would you look at that. Being all protective of the boy who could never love you. Why does this seem all so familiar?" She tilted her head to the side and I felt my fangs coming out. I launched towards her but Damon got in between us and held us back. "Calm down, Kass. I didn't tell you because I didn't find it that big of a deal."

I rolled my eyes and turned back around to Jer, who was staring at me with wide eyes, "You don't have to do this if you don't want to."

"I know I don't have to, but I don't mind. I don't even know if it will work," He admitted.

He focused then turned around quickly and I knew that Anna was behind him on the bench. They started talking and I watched carefully, biting the inside of my lip. Jeremy looked over at him, "Well she sure as hell doesn't want to help you."

Katherine leaned over and whispered something in his ear and he got up and walked over to him. "Jeremy, I want you to know it's nothing personal," Damon grabbed him by the back of the neck and smashed his head into the bench table, "Anna, I know you can hear me. Tell us what you know and the sooner the better for your little boyfriend over here."

I jumped up but Jeremy yelled out a name, "Mikael!" Jeremy slapped Damon's arm away from him. I took a step back and shook my head, no it couldn't be.

Katherine walked over, "Mikael? Is that his name?" Damon joined in, "Who's Mikael?" I crossed my arms nervously and bit my bottom lip and swallowed hard. Jeremy was listening to Anna, Damon slapped him across the head, "What's she saying?"

"He's a vampire and a hunter," Jeremy added and I took a deep breath. "And you guys would be idiots to watch him," I nodded my head but none of them realized.

Damon walked away to find the keys and Katherine sat down on the other bench. I walked over to Jeremy and placed my hand under his chin causing him to look at me. "Listen to me, stay awake. Your head looks pretty messed up," He rolled his eyes and I gave him a weak smile. "So this Mikael guy, he's apparently the big bad? How you were acting, it sounded like Anna sounded freaked."

"She was," He agreed and I sighed. "What's wrong?"

I shrugged and sat beside him, "I just want to know how the hell we got here. Now we have vampire-vampire hunters?"

"Apparently, looks like we'll never get a break." I nodded my head and he looked away from me. "I told Bonnie about Anna and Vicki, she took the news, well pretty well, I guess."

I looked up at him, "You guess?"

"I mean, how else are you supposed to take the news that your boyfriend is seeing his two dead ex-girlfriends?" He looked away from me and into the sky, he stared at the clouds. I placed my hand on the inside of his lower thigh and leaned my head against his shoulder. He chuckled, "She doesn't like when we hangout either. She knows about our, well, past, I guess Elena told her. I didn't tell her about the other day though."

"Why not?" I swallowed hard and he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer into him.

I closed my eyes, "I didn't want to risk losing you. I don't know what she would do, if she would ban me from seeing you. It's safer if she stayed in the dark, especially about that. About us."

"Well isn't this romantic," Katherine chimed and I opened my eyes. "Two lovers forbidden of being together because of the wicked witch of Mystic Falls. Quite the tragedy."

I let out an annoyed breath, "Don't you have one of my brothers to seduce?"

Jeremy closed his eyes and Damon walked back up to us with the keys in his hand. "Don't fall asleep, Jer, you might have a concussion."

Jeremy put his other hand to his head, "Thanks for the concern, dick."

Damon left once he found out that Elena was in trouble and I stayed behind with Katherine and Jeremy to find…Mikael. I don't really know why I was doing it, I should be running. But I had to make sure Jeremy stayed safe and I didn't exactly trust him alone with Katherine.

Two days later, it was our first day of Junior year. I saw Bonnie and Jeremy standing by her locker. She walked away from him, leaving him standing alone. I made my way up to him and looped my arm through his, "Are you okay?" I asked leaned my head against his arm and we continued to walk.

He went to his class and I saw Matty and Tyler walking down the hallway. I ran up behind them and made room for me in between them, "Are you guys too cool to talk to a junior now?"

Tyler leaned down and pulled me into him, "Hey! I've missed you, it's been a while since we've talked."

"I know, I feel like it's been forever. How are you and Caroline doing?" I asked and he nodded and answered, "Pretty good."

"How are you, Matt?" I turned to him but he seemed distant. Like he wasn't actually there in his mind. I bumped my elbow into his ribs and he jumped away, "Matty?"

He looked down towards me confused, "What? I'm sorry, I'm just out of it today."

"How have you been?" I repeated and he broke into a smile.

He stopped at his locker and Tyler kept walking to catch up with Caroline, "Pretty good, I guess. How about you?" He turned his lock to the appropriate passcode and opened his locker, throwing his schoolbag on one of the hooks.

I grinned, "Good, I feel like this year will actually be a good one!"

"I sure hope so," He mumbled and I chuckled at him. I squeezed his upper arm lightly before walking away and walking to my classroom.

After school, I stayed behind after school to help Alaric with a few things around his classroom. I was carrying a box and following him into his classroom, I dropped the box on the front desk. "Thank you again for helping me with all of this, Kassie," He said lowly and I turned around and grinned.

"It's no problem, Ric. With all this supernatural around here, I could really use some normal," I admitted and he shook his head in agreement but made a weird face. "That must've sounded weird coming from a vampire, right?"

He laughed and took the erasers out of the box and placed them on the blackboard, "A little bit. Vampires seem to be the least of our problems around here anymore, with hybrids and vampire-vampire hunters."

"Oh, the simple vampire days, then witches and werewolves emerged from the shadows. This town is extremely fucked when it comes to supernatural beings. It was never like this before," I sat down on the front desk and placed the box on my lap.

He walked over to me and grabbed a pack of chalk out of the box on my lap but then placed it back down. He looked down at me and I tilted my head to the side, "You've been alive for a long time." I nodded and he pursed his lips together, "How old are you, well actually?"

I bit the inside of my lip, "Around 161." His eyebrows raised in response and I chuckled, "I know it's crazy. I'm a junior and I'm older than my history teacher," I whispered to him and he started to laugh. He grabbed the chalk out of the box again and placed them in the bottom drawer of his desk and pulled something out. He walked over to me and opened his flask and took a sip before handing it to me. I took a sip and swallowed it, "This is really weird."

He quirked an eyebrow and I leaned back and swung my feet, "I'm pretty sure that you are over the legal age to drink. By a few decades," He took the flask off of me and took another sip. "Or do you mean us hanging out like a couple of old friends?"

I tilted my head forward and he nodded and took the box off of my lap and placed it down on his desk. "I mean, it's great, believe me, I love having a mature friend that doesn't only want to get in my pants," His face turned bright red. I covered my mouth with my hand to muffle my laughter, "Oh wait, is that what this is?"

His eyes grew wide, "No. No, no, this is not what this is."

I slid off the top of the desk, "I'm only joking Alaric. No but really, thank you for taking time out of your busy life to make room for me. It was really good to talk to you," The corner of my mouth curved upwards and his face softened. "Well I'm going to go, but again. Thank you, Ric." He said goodbye and I left his classroom and walked out of the room, I looked over and saw Jeremy and Bonnie talking down the hall.

I made my way over to them and he turned his head and was talking to someone else, Anna. Bonnie took a step backwards, "She's here?"

Jeremy tried to grab her arm, "She's just trying to help."

"I can't," She took another step away, "I can't deal with this." She turned to walk away from him but bumped into me, she looked up and rolled her eyes. "Seriously? Now you too?" She turned back to Jer, "Why don't you have every single one of your exes come right now?"

She blew past me and I gave Jeremy a confused look and she turned the corner, "Great timing, Kass. Really great timing right now," He turned away and I grabbed his arm. "Kass, can you not?"

"What did I do? All I did was leave Alaric's classroom and walk down the hallway. It's not my fault that you're having problems with your girlfriend," I crossed my arms. He shook his head and walked away again, "Jeremy, come on, I'm sorry."

He turned back around and ran his hand through his hair and rested his hand on the back of his neck. "Kassie, you don't get it, I-" He stopped and I walked over to him but he placed both hands on either side of my face and kissed me.

I pulled away from him and he looked just as shocked as I did, "Jeremy? Why-why did you just kiss me," I shouted and he backed away.

"I don't know," He admitted quietly and ran down the hallway and I stood there confused. I knotted my fingers in my blonde hair and groaned.

I walked into the Mystic Grill and saw Alaric and Damon sitting at the bar with someone, I squinted my eyes and noticed that it was Mason. I cocked my head back and turned my head to see Elena walking out of the bathroom. I walked over to her, "Hey Elena, is that Mas-" She walked right by me so I grabbed her arm. "Elena?"

She pulled her arm away, "If you're here to talk to Jeremy, please just leave. He's already caused enough trouble," I raised my eyebrows so she continued, "I just walked in on Jeremy and Anna kissing."

I furrowed my eyebrows together, "Wait, you saw her? You aren't going to tell Bonnie, are you? He's been having a hard time."

"How are you still defending him when he's kissing two other girls except you? I don't understand how you can put up with him dating my best friend and kissing his dead ex-girlfriend when you are obviously attracted to him."

I shook my head, "Because, Elena, he is my friend. Sure, I may have feelings for him but I care about him as a friend. Just because we aren't dating doesn't mean that I won't be here for him. He's one of my only friends," I swallowed hard.

She stormed away from me and out the door and I saw Lexi run into her, they left together. I walked towards the bathroom and before I got to open it, Jeremy came running out, right into me. He hit me, pretty hard, and I went flying back into the wall. My head banged against the back of it and I looked up at him. He was extremely close to me and I pushed him away, "Way to almost knock me out."

"Are you okay?" He asked pulling me forward and I crashed forward against his chest. "I'm sorry, I'm kind of in a rush. I will explain it all to you later," He went to walk away but I grabbed his arm and pulled him back to me. He was extremely close to me as we were huddled in the narrow hallway, "I need-I gotta go, Kass."

I let go of his arm but he didn't move, "I know that you and Anna kissed." He gave me a look and I shrugged my shoulders, "I ran into Elena and she kinda yelled at me."

"I'm sorry about my sister," He leaned closer and I placed my hands on his chest trying to keep our distance. "I know that I kissed Anna today, but what happened between us yesterday. I meant it," He looked down.

I looked up at him, "Meant what? That kiss?" He nodded awkwardly, "Go and find Anna, I'll be waiting at my house for you later. We can watch movies, eat popcorn and play some video games."

He walked away but turned around before he was out of my view, "I'll see you later."

I got home and got undressed and put my hair up into a high bun, I turned the hot water on and climbed in. I laid down in the tub and got comfortable and then I heard a rattle at the door and threw my head back. I sat up but the door opened and I leaned back in. Jeremy walked in closing the door behind him. "What are you doing in here?" I asked and went to grab my towel but he batted it away from me and leaned down. He took my face in his hands and he kissed me passionately and I leaned up and placed my hand on the back of his neck and pulled him down towards me. He broke apart and I looked up at him through my eyelashes, "What happened?"

He wrapped his hands on the back of his shirt and pulled his shirt off over his head and threw it onto the ground. He sat down on the edge of the tub, "I just need to stop thinking and go with my gut. This is what I'm going with," He took my cheek in his hand and caressed my cheekbone with his thumb.

I leaned up and kissed him, "Come in," I whispered in his ear. "There's plenty of room in here for the two of us," I laid back in the water and he smiled before standing back up and unbuttoning his pants and pulling them off.
