Sorry for not updating for two weeks, Tech week(s) in theatre are rough, all you theatre geeks understand. This chapter isn't as long, but be expecting more 1000+ word ones in the future. Anyways, enjoy!

Lincoln Park, Chicago

Booth waited anxiously on a foreign bench, near a foreign coffee cart, in a foreign park. It felt so familiar, yet so exotic at the same time. He checked his phone, and it glared two minutes till five back at him.

His eyes scanned the uncommon terrain for his former partner, and came up dry. He sat back, sipping his coffee, observing his surroundings.

Not even five minutes later, he sees his partner approach. While he was happy to see her, he was disappointed that she didn't have a baby in tow.

"I'm sorry I'm late, I had to drop Amelia off at Angela's." she explained, sitting down next to him.

"Why didn't you just bring her with you?"

"Since you came by the other day, I've had some time to think..."

He motioned at her to continue.

"I was too easy on you. I shouldn't have allowed you to hold Amelia so soon, we need to create a team plan before you try to form a relationship with her."

"Game plan, Bones. It's a game plan. And you're right, we do need one. This is just going to crash and burn if we don't have one."

She nodded at him.

"So, what is it that you want from me? What can I do to make this work?" he asked.

"At first, I didn't want anything from you. However, my view has changed. I do want you to be involved, but there doesn't seem to be a way for this situation to work when you're with a woman that I...don't trust."

"Why don't you trust Hannah?"

"She has admitted to not being good with children, Booth. Parker doesn't enjoy her company, at least that is what I have gathered from what he has told me. He claims that she always tries to steal your attention from him and put it on herself. He says that since she always steals all of your attention, you and him don't do fun things like he used to do. He complained to Rebecca about it, and that's why he doesn't come over as often. How can I trust a woman who only cares about being the center of attention, especially when there is an infant involved?"

"So, Hannah is the problem?"

Brennan nodded.

"Hell, Bones. I don't even know what Hannah and I are anymore. She hasn't called me in three days, I don't know when she is coming home, if she even is."

"What you are, is a married couple. You just aren't on the best of terms right now. You'll work things out eventually, and then you'll be happy again."

"Her and I shouldn't be a married couple, we shouldn't have rushed it like we did. We jumped too fast, and now we're punishing each other for it. I can't see my daughter, and she can't pursue her career the way she wants to..."

"Booth, I don't want you to sacrifice your marriage for time with our daughter..." she said, watching him sigh, "and because of that, I am willing, for the time being, to grant you supervised visits with Amelia, while either Angela or I are present."

"How often?"

"Saturdays or Sundays, whichever is best for everyone involved that given week. Each time you see her will last for about an hour period."

Booth scoffed to himself, "Just another weekend dad deal, huh? I guess it's better than not being in her life at all."

"I'm glad you understand."

"I don't, but as long as I get to spend time with my little girl, it's worth it."

"I will set up a schedule, and get back to you. As for now, I am leaving."

She stood, and he grabbed her wrist lightly.

"Don't go." he said.

"I wish we could discuss this further, but I have yoga at six. We will go into greater detail about this another time."

He nodded, let go of her hand, and watched her walk off, without him.

Booth sat back with a sigh, and went to sip his now cooled coffee. He threw it in the trashcan next to him, stood up, and walked the opposite way of his partner.

Again, not my longest chapter, but i just needed a filler. They will be discussing this topic again in an upcoming chapter, because obviously there are still things to be resolved. Hope you enjoyed! Review?
