"Watch out for that." Kendall swiftly kicked a stray pillow out of the way for his boyfriend. James' lips pushed into a pout. "I'll get that." Kendall chuckled, taking the box he carried. "Do me a favor, and hold the door open."

"Uh... sure." James walked over to the door, stretching his hands out in front of himself not to walk into the door, or the wall. After a couple of months he and Kendall had decided to move in together, and since Kendall's apartment was too small, and James' even smaller they had to get a new one. James was still adjusting. "This one?" He asked, grabbing onto a doorknob.

"Perfect." Kendall smiled at him, going through the door James opened for him. "I'll put the box a few feet left of the door, okay?" He said, putting the box where he described. The brunet nodded, walking into the room, moving towards the bed. "Ah, a little to the left, James." Kendall chuckled, watching James nearly missing the bed as he sat down. "I've got you." He said, pushing the brunet slightly to the right.

James grinned. "I can find the bed, you know." He said, pushing the blond onto the mattress.

"It didn't look like it." Kendall chuckled.

"Whatever." James smiled softly. "I don't need to see to do this." He murmured, kissing the blond on the lips. "Can we eat out tonight?" He asked. "I need to go to the studio, I have a... uh... thing." He smiled nervously.

Kendall arched an eyebrow. "A thing, huh?" he asked. "You need a ride?"

Smirking James shrugged his shoulders. "A ride for a ride?"

"You read my mind." Kendall laughed, nodding. "I'll go. Make a call, and get us a table somewhere they have great food." He hummed. "And then I'm going to take a shower."

"I'm gonna call Kelly." James said. "And then I'm gonna take a nap." He smiled.

Kendall ran a hand over James' cheek before leaving him on the bed to go and take care of the things he had to do. James waited until he couldn't hear Kendall before fishing his phone out of his pocket, and calling Kelly. "Hello, honey. When are you coming over? Everything's ready for you." Kelly chirped into the phone.

James couldn't help but smile. "We should be over around six. Make sure no one's there. I just want it to be him and I." He said. "And check if my desk's messy!" He quickly added.

"I've checked it four times, James. The amount of times you've called to tell me to do it." Kelly chuckled. "Everything's ready for you, please, try and relax." She told him. "Everyone will be out of here by the time you're here. I promise."

"Good." James smiled again. "I have to go, Kendall's coming. Thank you."

He hung up just as the door creaked open. "You called Kelly?" Kendall asked, smiling at the brunet. James nodded. "Cool, I got us a table at Rutherford's by seven." He announced. "It's gonna be great."

"Yeah." James smiled. "Um... you... wouldn't mind coming with me to the studio, right?" he asked. "Kelly's closing things up early, and I might need some help around the... yeah, I really need the help." He gave a sheepish smile.

"No one's there to help you out?" Concern was evident in the blond's voice. "I thought Kelly would be there."

"She had something really important to take care of." James lied. "Could you help me?"

"Of course!" Kendall said. "But right now, I'm gonna jump into the shower, so you'll have to be fine on your own for a while." he chuckled. James nodded.

"I'll be fine. Join me when you're done." He suggested when he scooted higher up on the bed, feeling around for a pillow. Kendall chuckled softly, then went into the bathroom while humming softly.

James laid in bed, listening to Kendall's humming, and the sound of the shower. He'd been blind for almost six months now. The adaptation of going from blind, to not blind, to blind again was obnoxious. He'd rather have stayed blind to begin with. Then again... if he had, he wouldn't ever had laid eyes upon Kendall, and that was the best thing he'd ever done. He dreamed of Kendall sometimes, how his blond hair rested on his forehead and how his green eyes shone in the sun, or in any light, in fact. He liked that Kendall was so lean, and thin. James really believed that Kendall was perfect, because he'd never seen, heard, or felt anyone like him.

His eyes remained close when the shower was turned off, and the bathroom door creaked open. "James?" Kendall called softly, peeking into the room. If James could see, he'd grin at the fact that Kendall wasn't wearing anything but a small towel around his hips.

"Yes, Kendall?" James hummed, breathing slowly, trying to relax.

"Are you sleeping?" Kendall smirked.

"No, Kendall." James chuckled lowly, rolling over to lie on his stomach, trying to ignore his boyfriend and take his nap. "I'm trying to, in fact."

The blond repressed a sigh, mounting the bed, and climbing to straddle the brunet's back. "Hey, I love you. You know that right?" He asked, James grinned into the pillow.

"I can feel that." He muttered, shifting in place. "Are you naked?"

"Yes."

James grunted, rolling over. "Damn you. I was going to take a nap." He sighed.

"And now?"

"I think you know." James smiled, and his boyfriend bent down to kiss him.

"James..." Kendall furrowed his eyebrows when they walked into James' office. "Have you... cleaned up in here?" he asked. James shrugged, pretending to be busy over by his desk. "From what I remember you've always... well, your office has always been... messy."

"Maybe I was tired of the messy?" James suggested, walking over to the piano. "Hey, now that we're here... wanna hear something I've worked on for a while?" He asked.

Kendall nodded and sat down next to him. "Sure." He said and James smiled, feeling the keys of the piano and cleared his throat. "You seem nervous." Kendall chuckled.

"I wrote this song for you." James blurted out. "I-It's called Nine Million Bicycles." He added.

Kendall chuckled softly, but eagerly waited for James to start. The brunet's fingers came down on the piano keys with extreme precision and a certain gentleness.

"There are nine million bicycles in Beijing, that's a fact. It's a thing we can't deny, like the fact that I will love you till I die." James sang, with his eyes closed. Kendall closed his eyes too. "We are twelve billion light years from the edge, that's a guess. No-one can ever say it's true, but I know that I will always be with you."

James played, and felt Kendall lean against his side. He was happy to have the blond around. They'd just moved in together, in a brand new apartment, and they were both adjusting to living together, as well as coordinating their jobs for everything to work. He was happy with Kendall, and he really believed that Kendall was happy with him too.

"I'm warmed by the fire of your love everyday, so don't call me a liar, just believe everything that I say." He sang, and smiled to himself when Kendall stroked his fingers over his arm. "There are six billion people in the world, more or less. And it makes me feel quite small, but you're the one I want most of all."

Kendall chuckled, not being able to help himself and wrapped an arm around James as he played and sang for him. "We're high on the wire, with the world in our sight. And I'll never tire of the love that you give me every night. There are nine million bicycles in Beijing, that's a fact. It's a thing we can't deny, like the fact that I will love you till I die."

"And there are nine million bicycles in Beijing. And you know that I will love you till I die."

James stopped playing and Kendall grinned, hugging James' arm and kissing his cheek, and neck. "I love you." he murmured. "But it's actually seven billion people in the world."

"Six sounded better, besides, I said more or less." James smiled.

"Still." Kendall shrugged. "That was beautiful, James. You're the most talented song writer I've ever met." He cooed into James ear, making him shiver.

The brunet smiled, and reached out for Kendall's hand. "You know... I really wanna ask you something." He said, turning to Kendall. "It's probably super obvious by now, but I can't really back out now that I've serenaded you and all."

"Hm, carry on then." Kendall murmured.

"Um... O-Okay." James blushed. "Um..." He got up from his seat, feeling around a bit before getting down on his knee, still holding Kendall's hand in his. "Kendall Knight, w-would you marry me?" he asked.

"Of course I will, James." Kendall cooed, leaning down and kissing him. "Of course I'll marry you."

James smiled and got back up to sit on the chair. "I love you." he said. "You're the only one I want to be with. The only one in the entire world." He took Kendall's hands in his. "I don't need my eyes if I have you."

"Tell you what." Kendall said. "How about me being your eyes, and I'll pick the color of the flowers at our wedding?" He suggested with a grin.

"That sounds good." James nodded. "M-Maybe we should go. We don't want to lose that reservation." he said and Kendall chuckled, shaking his head.

"Of course not. Come on, we should go."

"Wait." James got up again and searched his pockets. "I got you this." He grabbed Kendall by the hand, pressing a silver ring in it. "I'd put it on myself, but... I can't see so please do it for me." He smiled.

Kendall beamed at him and put the ring on, admiring it. "Yeah, now I have something to show off at the restaurant too. Come on, love. Let's go and celebrate."

A/N: Y'all know it had to end like this. I wanted to write something really sweet to end this but the writers block on this story is permanent and I want to finish this up to continue with the other stories I have in my head. I have more Kames stories coming. Are we all excited? I AM!
