This one may take me a couple Saturdays, mainly because I've never wrote a wedding before, and I'm really wanting to do well. Since this is my first time, I decided just to skip to the altar, where Danny is waiting and having a private discussion with the groomsmen.

Ch.26 Put a Ring On It

To say Danny was nervous at the moment was a complete understatement. He was stand

"Hey Clark," Danny whispered to his best man.

"Yeah?"

"Were you nervous as hell when you and Lois got married?" Danny asked.

"Yeah, I was." Clark admitted.

"When did it stop?" the halfa asked.

"When I saw her come down the aisle, the nervousness dies down quite a bit, but it didn't go away until I slipped the ring on her finger." Clark told him patting him on the shoulder. The groomsmen, Tucker and Ben, then decided to add their two cents.

"Dude, you got this man, I've seen you go through tougher things than this." Tucker encouraged.

"Tucker's right man, just calm down and relax, it's just Kara, you love her, she loves you, now you guys are getting married, now get ready to put a ring on it." Ben said.

Danny smiled at his friends. "Thanks guys, means a lot at this moment." Soon enough the bridesmaids, Lois and Dani, came out along with the maid of honor, Babs.

Then out came Kara, and when Danny saw her, his jaw pretty much dropped. No one could deny that Kara was beautiful but, at that moment, as she was led down the aisle by Jonathan Kent, she looked positively angelic; her wedding dress was amazing, pure white with a pattern woven onto the chest that was a flowing version of the crest of the House of El, yet it blended seamlessly with the entire dress. When she saw Danny, her eyes lit up unlike anything Danny's ever seen.

"Danny, you may wanna close your mouth," Clark suggested, which lead Danny to do just that.

As Kara stood across from Danny, they looked into each other's eyes; in them, they saw how much the other loved them. Though they didn't need the reassurance, it was still enough to calm their nerves.

As the two had been staring at each other, they failed to notice that Father McCormick, the priest presiding over the wedding, had been conducting the ceremony, until he had reached the most memorable part of any wedding.

"Do you, Kara Zor-El Kent, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, as long as you both shall live?"

Kara didn't break eye-contact with Danny. "I do."

"And do you, Daniel James Fenton, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, as long as you both shall live?"

Danny smiled at Kara. "I do."

Then they proceeded to slip the rings on eachothers fingers.

"Then, by the power vested in me by the State of Kansas and by God, I now pronounce you man and wife! You may kiss the bride!"

Danny didn't even hesitate, he picked Kara up in bridal style, and they had the most passionate kiss they ever had.

"I love you," Danny told her.

"I love you too," Kara said as they started kissing again.

At the reception later that night, which was at Wayne Manor, the newlyweds spent some time at the dance floor, but at the moment, they were outside on the balcony, telling each other what happened at their bachelor and bachelorette parties.

"So wait, Diana got drunk?" Danny asked in surprise.

"Oh Rao she did, and boy, that was hilarious, she knocked five bikers out in one punch because she thought they were hitting on her." Kara said.

"That must have been a sight to see?" Danny said, laughing hysterically.

"So what happened at the bachelor party lastnight?" Kara asked the halfa.

"Oh that, well let's just say Ben and Kevin tried to be funny and tried to shave my head, key word tried." Danny said with a laugh.

"You blasted them through a wall didn't you?" Kara asked with a smirk.

"No, I blasted Tony and Barry through a wall, they just got stuck in the other wall." Danny said smugly. Kara giggled, then looked out at towards the city. Danny did aswell, before saying to newly wed wife. "To life being full, right?" he said with a smile.

Kara smiled back as she kissed her newly wed husband. "To life being full."

Not gonna lie to you guys, this chapter was kinda difficult to write, but now that this arc is over, the next arc can begin, the 'Justice League's Doomsday' arc. Like I said in a previous chapter, for the Avengers to rise, the Justice League must fall. Anyway don't forget to review and check out my profile for my other stories and future content.
