Ok in this chapter sorry if the Pokémon Master sounds annoying but I was trying to make him laid back and funny, oh and the idea for some of Ash's new Pokémon came from the author jeannot1978, thank you for the idea, disclaimer alas I own nothing.

After four hours of training they gave their Pokémon a break, Ash walked to Ritchie and asked, "How have things been since I last saw you?"

Ritchie smiled and replied, "Zippo evolved into a Charizard, Rose evolved into a Swellow, the whole team has gotten a lot stronger since we last met. I even caught a few new Pokémon, I caught a Starly and evolved him into a Staraptor, a Scraggy, and recently I caught a Fletchling. Wait did you catch those Pokémon to?" Ash nodded causing them both to laugh,

Serena sat next to him and Ritchie asked, "Are you Serena?"

She nodded and replied, "Ash has told me a lot about you."

Misty heard this and snickered, "Not as much as he'd say about you."

Serena tilted her head and asked, "What did he say about me?"

Misty had an evil grin on her face as she replied, "He would say stuff in his sleep like, 'Serena do you want-"

Ash shoved a cookie in her mouth and said, "I'd say 'Serena do you want a cookie?' Don't believe anything Misty says cause she lies!"

Serena raised an eyebrow and wondered, "What are you so flustered about?"

Jovi came in and said, "Jovi got a little something for Ash, come with Jovi Ash and friends." She led them outside to a large fenced area with a few Pokémon in it, a Slowbro which was the bipedal, pink Pokémon with a tan, striped belly and a tan muzzle. It had large, vacant eyes, curled ears, and two pointed teeth in its upper jaw. On its hands, it had three clawed fingers, and two clawed toes on its feet. There was a Shellder attached to its tail. This Shellder had a gray, spiraled shell with darker spots. There were several spikes across the surface of Shellder, and it held onto Slowbro with many sharp teeth. Also Slowbro had a tiny scar on its belly that looked like a lightning bolt, a Ditto was nearby, a Ditto is simply a light purple or magenta free-form shape blob with vestigial facial features. It also appeared to have two vestigial, handless 'arms' protruding from its body. The poor Pokémon was cowering behind Slowbro, there was a Nidoking with a Nidoqueen which is a large, bipedal blue Pokémon with distinct reptilian features. Its lower jaw, chest plates and lower torso were cream-colored. It had a horn on its forehead, narrow black eyes, and large, spiny ears. There were toxic spikes running down the length of its back, and its body was encased in extremely hard scales, Nidoking looked alert as Nidoqueen sat next to him, a giant grey Pokémon that looked like a snake made up of a bunch of rocks was curled up away from the others, it had a small scar on the side of its face. Another Pokémon sat on a rock, a Persian which was simply a large, quadruped, feline Pokémon. Its fur is pale tan with the exception of its black-rimmed ears. It has a short muzzle with a small, black nose, red eyes with slit pupils, rounded ears, a pair of pointed teeth in its upper jaw, and three whiskers on either side of its face. In the center of its forehead was a red jewel. Its long tail has a distinctive curl at the end. Persian looked really scared about meeting the new trainers but just watched them on its rock, trying to decide wether to kill and bolt away or act friendly towards them. A Pokémon they knew all to well, Scyther which is a bipedal, insectoid creäture. It was primarily green with cream accents between its body segments. On the back of its somewhat reptilian head were three points, and it had narrow eyes. Its forearms consisted of large, white scythes. On its thighs are spikes of fur, and it has three clawed toes on its large feet. Two pairs of cream-colored wings extend from its back. Scyther was threatening to kill if it sensed that the new people were bad, next was Rhyhorn which is a rhinoceros-like creäture with a body covered in gray, rocky plates. Its underside and rear were smooth, and it had four short legs with two claws on each foot. It had a triangular head with narrow, red eyes, two fangs protruding from its upper jaw, and small, triangular openings on the upper sides. A spiked ridge ran along its back, and it had a single short horn on the tip of its snout, Rhyhorn was hiding behind some large rocks and every once in a while would peek at the humans, near a small pond a Cloyster was sitting, a Cloyster is simply a black, pearl-like Pokémon. It was encased inside a light grey shell, which was surrounded by a second jagged, blue-violet outer shell casing. It had one barb-like spike protruding from above its head, and multiple conical horns on its outer shell. On its pearl-like face, it has two white eyes and a mouth. Cloyster looked kind of frightened but didn't move, maybe he was more excited then scared or maybe he didn't want to push away a possible human friend but he just sat there and watched. Dunsparce was a little happier though, Dunsparce is a serpentine Pokémon with a primarily yellow body, blue underside, and blue-and-cream-striped back. Its head was round with a wide mouth extending under its jowls and curved up toward the middle of its face. Its chin was blue with two rounded prongs. Its eyes—round and rimmed with blue—are kept closed, revealing its cream-colored eyelids. On Dunsparce's upper back were two small, white, bird-like wings split into two sections each. Its body ended in a striped, drill-like tail, Dunsparce was excitedly hopping everywhere in excitement about the new humans but didn't get close because Persian ordered him not to with a low growl. The only neutral Pokémon besides Slowbro was Kadabra, a primarily yellow, humanoid Pokémon. It had two large, pointed ears on top of its head, a red star on its forehead, and wide cheeks leading down to a thin snout. Its eyes were deep-set and narrow. Extending from its snout were two mustache-like tufts of fur, Kadabra's torso was segmented with bulky shoulders, a thick, brown chest, and a small abdomen marked by three red, wavy lines. Attached to the Pokémon's abdomen was a large, thick tail encircled with a brown band near its base. Its arms were thin with brown elbows, and end in three-fingered hands with white claws. Its legs had prominent knees and large, three-toed feet, also ending in white claws, Kadabra was just sitting on a rock and staring at them as if studying them.

Ash looked at each one and asked, "Why are they here?"

Jovi turned and replied, "These are Damien's old Pokémon, as you probably know his Pokémon license was taken away along with his Pokémon, these guys wanted a new trainer while the rest who didn't want a trainer were taken to the Pokémon Reserve outside Fuschia City for rehabilitation and protection. Ash we feel you'd be the best guy for the job of taking care of them so how about it?"

Ash looked at the scared yet hopeful faces of the Pokémon and said, "Ok I'll bring them with me." Some of the Pokémon cheered, some just smiled but Persian and Kadabra had extremely neutral faces. Although to Ash Persian had a sort of 'I'm going to kill you in your sleep' face but then again most of the Persian he's seen have had that look on their face, even the ones who really weren't trying to kill him.

Ash nervously asked, "Why is Persian looking at me like that?"

Jovi smiled and replied, "Don't worry, after being with Damien for so long I guess that look had been permanently glued to her face but really she's a sweetheart." Persian didn't like being called a sweetheart to she ran to the far end of the area, they heard a helicopter coming which meant the Pokémon Master must be at the building finally,

as they went back in Ash said, "We'll be back to play with you guys." They hurried to the landing pad and a boy who was at least ten stepped out, he had red spiky hair, a blue headband, a yellow shirt with black sleeves, blue pants, black shoes, and bright blue eyes.

He smiled at the group and said, "Yo I'm finally here, sorry it took me so long, b-b-b-but the Pokémon Master is here yo!"

Bianca whispered to Stephan, "Is that really the Pokémon Master?"

Stephan replied in a whisper, "We shouldn't judge, I mean Barry was considered good enough for this challenge and just look at him."

Barry smiled and whispered, "Yeah eve-hey!" Stephan snickered as Barry glared at him.

The Pokémon Master looked at the challengers and asked, "So you wanna be a master of Pokémon? Do you have the skills to be number one, yo?"

They replied at once, "Yes!"

He raised an eyebrow and said, "I can't hear you."

They exclaimed, "YES!"

He nodded and replied, "Good, my opponent for today is Shauna, be ready." They got into the stands as the two opponents made their way to the field,

before they began he said, "My friends call me Michael."

She smiled and replied, "Nice to meet you, now let's get started. I'm quite excited you know!" He nodded an they sent out two Pokémon, Shauna sent out a Quilladin which is a bipedal, mammalian Pokémon with some plant-like features. It was largely covered in an armor-like shell similar to that of a chestnut. The armor was green in coloration with two large spines jutting out like ears. These spines and its pointed tail had red tips, and there are banded segments on the back of the shell. The lower half of the body was brown, and it had a three-pointed patch of fur decorating the front. Quilladin's stubby limbs are brown, but the top surfaces of the arms are protected by green, banded armor. It had three white, clawed digits on its hands and two on its feet. The face was exposed and unarmored, being light brown in color. It had a small, pink nose and a pointed snout, with a three-pointed patch of brown fur extending out like hair. Brown triangles marked its cheeks. Quilladin also had wide eyes and buck teeth and Micheal sent out a Jolteon which was simply a quadruped, mammalian Pokémon. It was covered in yellow fur with a spiky fringe around its tail, and a white ruff around its neck. Its ears are large and pointed, and its eyes and small nose are black. It has slender legs and small paws, each with three toes and a pink paw pad. Jolteon used Wild Charge which Quilladin dodged and countered with Vine Whip which Jolteon dodged and countered with Hyper Beam which almost knocked Quilladin out, Quilladin used Vine Whip which did hit Jolteon but it wasn't very affective. Jolteon used Thunderbolt which knocked Quilladin out! Shauna returned Quilladin and sent out a Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur used Razor Leaf which Jolteon dodged and countered with Thunder which Bulbasaur dodged and countered with Solar Beam which was a direct hit! Jolteon shook it off and used Thunder Fang which hit Bulbasaur hard, Bulbasaur used Razor Leaf which Jolteon dodged and countered with Thunder which knocked Bulbasaur out. Shauna sent out her last Pokémon which is Sliggoo, a gooey purple Pokémon with the body structure of a snail. Its underbelly was a deeper shade of purple than the top part of its body. Its eyes are green and large, with one eyelash on each eye; but since its eyes are devolved, Sliggoo is blind. It has two pale green spots on either side of its head. It had two small, underdeveloped arms, two sets of antennae atop its head, and a gooey snail-like shell on its back that looks like it is part of its gelatinous body. Sliggoo used Dragon Pulse which hit Jolteon but again it didn't seem to harm him, Sliggoo used Muddy Water which also hit him. Jolteon used Thunder which Sliggoo was too slow to dodge, Michael smiled and said, "This battle was fun but all good things need to come to an end." Jolteon used Thunder Fang which Sliggoo dodged and countered with Dragon Breath which Jolteon countered with Thunder, knocking Sliggoo out and winning the match.

Shauna held Sliggoo and asked, "Are you ok?"

Sliggoo sadly replied, "Slig, Sliggoo." Shauna hugged him again,

Michael walked up to her and said, "You did pretty good, let Jovi take your Pokémon to Nurse Joy and have a little feast with us. You should be proud, not many Pokémon could've lasted as long as yours' against my Jolteon. You've raised them well."

Shauna smiled and replied, "Thank you."
