"Why did you pass him to me? I can't... I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS!"

"Wake up! We aren't suppose to kill! We're suppose to save! We're suppose to help those who need it, not go killing people for revenge. Just knock him out, don't take his life."

"I'm going to keep walking. To where the last fight will be. And I've been told that you guys would be fighting the Corvino. I need to avenge my family."

Chapter 25- Truth's out

"Now now, where could they be in this blasted place? The mist bastard said that they travelled in..." The raven head mumbled under his breath. He moved stealthily in the shadows, recognising an almost dead sun guardian of the other family lying on the floor. He quirked an eyebrow, wondering who in Vongola had beaten the man up until he is bleeding all over.

"Alaude ka?"

He looked into the dark, hearing a familiar voice from within. Just then, his head throbbed and images of two guardians in his perspective flooded his mind. He had a feeling that another platinum blond streak appeared, signalling another step into recovering all his forgotten memories. However, he did wonder. In the past, he had also recalled quite a number of memories, yet they never changed his hair colour. Besides, it is against the rules to go to school with dyed hair, not that he could help it in this case.

"Knuckle."

"Indeed, Alaude. Why are you here?"

The cloud scoffed at the question, knowing fully that the question need not be asked at all. He took a closer look at the other properly, quickly noting the change. The boy in his arms is out cold, with a few scars visible as well as the blood splattered on his shirt. He understood what had happened already.

"Did you do this?"

"No, Cozart did it, out of anger. He almost extremely killed the man!"

Hibari felt a smirk creep up his face. He is disappointed that the man was not kill though and the sun guardian was clearly unhappy with his response.

"He should have done so."

"You're extremely horrible!"

The remaining members of the group continued to walk further into the hideout, their eyes and ears alert to any difference in their surroundings. They were careful not to bring their electric torches, fearing that the enemy may catch them red-handed. They kept their voices to the minimum, especially when memories of two of their guardians freed themselves in their heads, and they knew there would be another strand of their "original" hair colours. Gokudera even complained about a searing feeling on his face, like something tattooing itself there. Tsuna wondered if it was that flame design that G had.

They had been travelling for more than ten minutes in the dark, not knowing where the next destination is or who would be appearing next. Thus, they decided to do a head count again, to see if everyone is still present, except the few who left to deal with the enemies and the one that ditched them from the very beginning. As quietly as they could, they counted themselves.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three~!"

"F-Four!"

"Five."

"Six!"

With a self-satisfied grin, the brunet started to walk again when he remembered an important fact about their group. THERE SHOULD ONLY BE FIVE! WHO'S THE SIXTH? He halted in his tracks, causing the few behind to ram into him, creating a human heap on the murky ground. Reborn (who had been forgotten by both the group and I) managed to stop in time.

Gokudera cussed under his breath, still very aware that they are sneaking around in enemy territory. Silently, he lifted his choice finger and everyone scrambled off of him, including the newly arrived red head.

"Enma! I never knew that I would meet you here. I thought you'll still be in Japan handling that side of any enemies."

Said boy shrugged his shoulders casually, pretending to dig his ears to clear them and flick the dirt onto the floor. The hitman flinched in disgust.

"I left Adelheid to deal with them. They sent me here to kill the boss. But after Ryohei -or rather, Knuckle, shouted at me not to do something this stupid, I thought I might as well catch up to you guys and kick the boss' butt." He proclaimed, proudly giving his chest a hit, which ended up with him coughing for hitting too hard. The brunet blinked in surprise, not because of his sudden change of deciding not to kill the boss, but rather the fact that he just called Ryohei Knuckle.

"Why did you call Ryohei-senpai Knuckle?" The baseball fanatic asked, puzzled as to why he did that. Reborn stood at the side and watched.

"He called me Cozart, not Enma."

Tsuna lowered his head in thought, wondering if getting back all their past memories would wipe out the current one. Apparently, Reborn noticed and replied him.

"I doubt that. It may be because it felt more natural, just like when your rain and storm guardians decide to call you Giotto rather than Tsuna sometimes."

What he said made sense so the brunet accepted it and continued walking in the shadows, everyone else soon following. Silence fell soon as they wandered in the dark. Just then, from the corner of the brunet's eyes, there was a spark down the corridor.

Click clack, click clack.

All of them stopped walking, unconsciously holding their breaths at the same time.

"Tsk tsk tsk. I thought the Vongola would be smarter than this. Sending a bunch of children to fight us. Then again, these 'children' had defeated two of our guardians." A baritone voice sounded from behind.

"Now now, Karlos. You know that they aren't just any kid. Their ancestors exists within their existence. They're very old mentally and young physically, even that arcobaleno with them. Can we quickly finish up? I wanna see that pretty girl already!"

Tsuna turned rigid and anger sets in. He tightened his fists and deepened his frown. He knew who the girl the new person mentioned is as his intuition blared aloud at him. In a fit of his anger, he broke apart from the group and punched the man in his jaw, with a flaming fist.

"KYOKO ISN'T YOUR FRIGGIN' TOY!"

The gray haired man grunted as he fell to the ground, glaring at the teen that just sent him flying. He then scoffed, realising who had attacked him as he cradled his sore jaw, that ached from the punch. The other grinned madly, finding a little prey caught in their trap.

"Haha, and the boss comes tumbling in."

Reborn clicked his tongue, annoyed that a new hindrance has appeared. This means that another two guardians had to hold them off here. The others dashed up to their sky, taking their stances almost too quickly. Their enemies stayed relaxed, one of them even yawned. They each gave one another a look before they tried to sprint pass the two crows, only to get stopped by a lightning whip.

"No one is going to leave without bypassing me first."

Gokudera cussed aloud and Yamamoto unsheathed his sword, covering it with his blue rain flames. Reborn reloaded his leon-gun and both Tsuna and Enma entered their hyper dying will mode. The storm guardian was about to throw his bombs when the female guardian of the group stopped him. Surprised, he dropped his lighted bombs into the dirty water. The mist walked right in front of the two enemies, her expression kept extremely neutral.

Just then, in a blink of an eye, both of them screamed in pain, falling onto their knees. The purple head stabbed her trident into the ground and lots of bright indigo flames were emitted. Tsuna began to feel woozy.

"Boss! Go!"

"No way! There's no way am I going to leave you alone with two guardians to fight off!"

"Who says she's alone?"

Suddenly, a flash of silver appeared in his eyes and the two men were soon punched in the gut. The brunet widened his eyes, thanking the heavens for his timely arrival. Wordlessly, he started to run, only for a loud crack to be heard. He froze and closed his eyes, awaiting for pain, but nothing came. Chrome stood between him and the weapon, her own trident halting the advance of the whip.

"Quickly! Leave!"

All of them broke into a run immediately, leaving the cloud and the mist to fight the two off. Reborn lowered his fedora, wishing that the duo would be able to defeat the other duo.

With Chrome and Hibari

The whip user whacked his weapon against the ground and a resonating crack split into the air. Hibari tightened his grip on his weapons, wishing badly that he had handcuffs instead of tonfas. The Corvino lightning smirked, delighted that his enemy had started fearing him despite his impassive expression.

"My my, where are my manners?" He spoke up, shocking the Vongola duo instantly. If anything, their grip on their weapons is so tight, their knuckles had turned white. The silver head made a bow, tucking his whip behind politely.

"The name's Federic, the lightning of Corvino, and my companion here is Karlos, the cloud."

Karlos grunted, rolling his eyes in annoyance at Federic. He then pulled out his twin guns, aiming at the purple head. Taking the chance, Hibari sprinted up to Federic, punching him with his trusty tonfas.

Chrome spun her trident and stabbed it into the ground again, creating another illusion to blind the men's eyes. However, unlike before, when she clearly had distracted them from the others, the two were not affected, continuing their attacks on them. Surprised, her guard broke down for a second and the Corvino cloud fired his shots, grazing her on the arms.

"Lena!"

"I'm fine. I'm okay, Alaude."

The skylark clicked his tongue and resumed fighting while Chrome took out the midnight blue box she was recently given, the other having been returned to her brother (Mukuro). It was clear that she would be needing more than her trident and unique illusions.

Lighting up the ring that she was given, she opened the box and a black owl appeared, indigo flames adorned on its feathers. The girl mouthed the magic words and soon, the owl morphed into a set of knives, ranging from kitchen knives to disposable ones. Her eyes glimmered at the familiar objects, picking one of them up immediately, twirling it fancifully.

Federic whistled at the collection, wondering what she was going to do with them.

Probably stab him to death.

Snickering, he coats his whip with lightning flames, as well as sun flames to increase the damage. Chrome's eyes grew wide in alarm as she leapt to the right to dodge his quick attack. As she leapt to avoid, she threw three butter knives in attempt to throw him off course. One managed to nick his skin just by a bit, but not enough to stall. She turned to Hibari, who seemed to be struggling with the twin guns.

"Hibari-san, use that thing the Arcobaleno gave you! Your tonfas plus extensions don't seem to do much!"

Ah... She laughed nervously at what she just said.

The raven head froze, narrowly avoiding the bullet that grazed his right cheek. He then grunted, quickly brushing off the insult the female mist sent in his way, remembering that a slip in a battlefield can cause a lot of trouble.

Like what happened more than a century ago.

The two of them froze and Chrome fell, even without Federic extending his arm to deliver his blow. The two clams clutched their heads, pressing their fingers against their temples to fight the pain.

The other two hesitated for a moment before striking their attacks on the distracted two. However, some sort of spell repelled their attacks, throwing them off, against the walls.

"Guh!"

Karlos shook his head to get rid of the stars and Federic was knocked out upon impact. The cloud sneered at his partner, mumbling "weakling" under his breath. Chrome and Hibari stood up slowly, their heads lowered. Yet, they both looked entirely different.

The purple head -her blond locks tumbled over her shoulder. Her hands no longer clutched onto the trident as if it was her lifeline, six slim, silver blades in its place. The raven head, now platinum blond, now had handcuffs in his hands, twirling dangerously in the eyes of their enemies. A terrifying aura surrounded them, causing the crows to cower slightly.

"I never felt so much better before. How about you, Elena?"

"That's the longest line that I've ever heard from you, Alaude."

They breathed in deeply, hands tightening around their new weapons. The prefect's lips curled upwards, excitement bubbling in him.

"Why do we fight?"

"To get rid of the people who taints our land, and to protect our people."

Chrome and Hibari snaps up, their eyes no longer purple and gray, but blue -icy blue that only knew victory right now. Federic and Karlos could only grip onto their weapons tightly, as long as their Primo survives.

A/N: There, I'm gonna leave their fight at that. Is it getting confusing? I'm sorry, but I intended to make it that way. One more chap and we're wrapping this up. Please leave a review please! It motivates me!
